-Arrival & Front Office- Upon arrival, the front office area appeared unstructured, with multiple staff members, including engineering personnel, gathered in the same space. Additionally, there was inconsistency in staff uniforms, which created a less professional first impression and indicated a lack of coordination in staff presentation. -Room Condition & Maintenance- The assigned room was below expected standards. The overall condition appeared outdated, and the bed linen quality did not meet hotel benchmarks, resembling that of a budget guesthouse. A significant issue was encountered with the room door access, as the door handle battery was not functioning. This required the guest to return to the lobby for assistance, causing inconvenience and delay. Furthermore, only one key card was issued, which may not be adequate for guest convenience. -Amenities & Facilities- In-room amenities were limited and did not align with expected service standards. The bathroom condition requires immediate attention, as the shower was leaking and there was an unpleasant odor present, indicating potential maintenance and hygiene concerns. -Overall- Based on the observations above, the property currently does not meet the expected standards for business travelers or guests requiring a comfortable transit stay. Improvements are recommended in the areas of staff coordination, room maintenance, amenities, and overall quality control to enhance guest satisfaction and uphold brand standards.

Very bad terrible rooms

The hotel met all our expectations. We arrived there in the evening after long commute from Karimunjawa, and were welcomed with drinks even before finishing the check in. The reception upgraded all 3 rooms to the executive suites on the 10'th floor. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and there was a nice water flow in the shower. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were soundproof.

Four-star hotel with top-notch service! The lobby area is spacious, the breakfast is varied, and the staff are exceptionally friendly — a real bonus. As for the location, the hotel is right in the heart of the city, making it easy to go anywhere. They prepared a special surprise for our honeymoon, which was so cute and touching. The hotel is well-located in the heart of Semarang, making it ideal for both business and leisure stays. I stayed in the King Executive room, which was quite spacious (28 m²) and comfortable overall. However, a few issues affected the experience. Upon entering the room, there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant. Due to its location on the top floor, the room became quite warm during the day, and the air conditioning struggled to keep up—though it was fine at night. Concierge service needs improvement. It was quite difficult to find assistance when there was a wedding event taking place at the hotel. On a positive note, the front desk staff were very helpful and professional—special thanks for allowing an extra 30 minutes for late check-out. Only standard-size towels were provided, and smaller ones were available only upon request. Amenities were basic, and there was a small stain on the bedsheet. Cleanliness, in general, could use some improvement.

Loved the view from my room. Room was clean, and AC worked well. Bathroom amenities were well stocked.

Cramped parking space. Pizza's The key card to your room floor does not always work on the lift, and the entrance to my floor was always unlocked.

Had mu so called "baby moon" me and my wife spend the night, had the best experience. The most comfortable and spacious room you can get, very hygiene, love the interior especially the bathroom. worth the money i spend the night, with all well maintained facility, such as the gym and the pool. Best breakfast i've had since a while, all the server are nice , i got a great view room.

Bokade tre rum och bodde två nätter på hotellet. Väldigt fint hotell, men tyvärr fick vi problem med 2 av rummen. Det ena luktar avlopp och det andra luktar rök. Fick byta rum till slut. För övrigt, mycket bra utbud på frukost och mycket servicevänliga personal. Ett tips till frukostpersonal: se till att hålla maten varmt genom att stänga ner alla lock på mathållaren. Jag förstår att alla gäster kanske inte fattar syftet med det, men det funkar faktiskt på andra hotell, varför inte på Gets?

I recently stayed at Gets Hotel Semarang, and my experience was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, allowing me to quickly get settled into my room. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, featuring modern amenities and a comfortable bed that ensured a good night’s sleep.

It is an excellent option. Location is quite central, so you can move fast from everywhere. The service was very nice, and all the people were super helpful. Finally, the breakfast... it is absolutely worthy... In many good hotels you have the same buffet... not here. Here has delicious varieties of local and international food, where you can feel in each option that they really care about the client. Delightful.

I dont like that they dont have pick up service from the airport. Its a shame because is the only thing missing in this hotel to be outstanding in all its dimensions! Also, but this is because of the city, at night there are many mosquitos in common open areas like the pool.

Our room was comfortable and spacious. The floor to ceiling window with views over the city gave the room a wonderful light and open feel. Very inviting and relaxing. The breakfast was just incredible. So much variety of excellent quality and attentive staff. All staff were wonderful. Certainly a quality hotel.

We did not have our own transport and there were few options within walking distance however Grab was cheap and easy so ended up not being too much of a problem.

Checked in at 6pm, AC in the room and corridor was not cold enough, we went dinner for 1 hours and let the AC run but still not cold, we asked to change the room.. In The new room bed cover was really dirty and smell very bad. Toilet was dirty and not cleaned properly.

I stayed here 3 nights in Semarang. The staff are the highlight of this hotel very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was ok but could have been cleaner. The bed is very comfy and the wifi is good. The pool in photos is not covered so I was looking forward to it but when I got there it has a roof so I couldn't sunbake. The gym is ok but a few machines are broken which should be fixed. The location is ok near the old town but but not the nicest area of Semarang. The Aircon could be cooler in the room too.

We had a pleasant stay. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Our only disappointment was when they closed the pool for for the day for cleaning without notification.

The staff was friendly even though many of them did not speak English, which sometimes complicated things. We were upgraded to an Executive room on the 10th floor. It sounds like a dream but has become a nightmare. The room itself was excellent but many drawbacks are mentioned in the next section. Breakfast has a great variety. The location is good and easy to grab a taxi or Grab and go wherever you want.

The smoking smell all over the place was insane. It seems the AC connects with the smoking rooms and our room was filled with a smoking smell all days we stayed there. The noise from the next room was insane as well, screaming kids, ringing the doorbell, and all kinds of craziness. We had to call the maintenance guy to fix a few crucial things in our room. Unbelievable housekeeping had not reported this way before as this is on the Executive floors There is no Executive Lounge stating on Booking.com that it is out of order and has been for a very long time. The gym is completely useless and the pool is weirdly located in the middle of the smoking area. No one would feel comfortable walking between the smokers in their swimming wear. I got the feeling this is more of an event hotel for weddings, gatherings, meetings, and such. If you are FIT traveler this is probably not the way to go. We wanted to have massages, but they don't have any SPA, the webpage states otherwise. Only "call-in" massages inside your room which is not very tempting. As well did we order room service, but it went down the drain. They brought the wrong food, forgot to bring rice, and did not understand English. Just weird. Our plane was to stay longer but unfortunately had to check out due to the issues mentioned above

A cozy place to stay. Room is spacious, clean and staffs are friendly. Plenty parking space and well mantained. Price is reasonable and location is great, near to everywhere. Really really recommended. Will come here again the next time I visit Semarang. Actually I had been here before, long time ago.

Spacious room, parking space, hot water run quick, ok breakfast, given free upgrade. But older property, old facility, single sofa (not lounging sofa), no faucet in the shower. Overall, good value for money.

Cleanness was not so good. A piece of bread was found on the floor. Other than that, it was ok for staying. Perhaps not a 4 star hotel quality...

Hotel staff was nice and courteous, room was cozy and pretty good size. The linens were old and faded. It just looks dirty and worn out. The replacement ones were just as bad. Parking can be quite a challenge but we managed to find parking.

Nice hotel in the quieter part of the city. It has nearly everything, good breakfast buffet spread, swimming pool and gym. Easy to get around to other part of the city via Grab or GoJek. However if you want to be right next to or connected to a mall, there are other properties to choose from. All-in-all, happy to have stayed in this property.

The pool water so dirty. A lot of moss in it. The key of the room they gave only 1 each room for 2 people. Made us hard to go in separate way. I ask another key. They said they cannot give 2 keys.
