NOISY!! Room 10 is by outside exit door that banged 10 times before 7am, and with late arrivals home. Could hear word for word conversations in adjacent spa pool. Heard other guests coughing all night, road noise etc.

Reviewed May 26, 2026It's just a short drive from Queenstown, and with large, affordable supermarkets nearby, staying here was very convenient as long as you have a car. The building is brand new and modern, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having a washer-dryer (with detergent provided!) was especially helpful. The staff’s chat support was excellent—very responsive and quick to help, so we had no issues at all. Highly recommended!

You can see how well the host organizes here from many detailed places. They seem to consider everything just to let guests have a nice stay. Highly recommend ✨

Room was smaller side and not super soundproof. A little out of town so you'd want a car or bike.

The heater in the room seems not working. Shower room is a bit cold in the winter temperature.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026Super friendly staff, huge kitchen with a dishwasher, hot tub outside, and super cosy vibes! This didn't just feel like another hostel, it really felt like coming home. When we checked in we were given a walk-through by the lovely lady at reception which no other accommodation has done. Spare towels, pillows, blankets all provided at no extra cost.

The place was super cozy and set up great for all sorts of activities, each room has own fridge shelf and cupboard shelf in kitchen. Extra towels and linens available, showers and toilets clean and all private.
That I didn’t stay longer!

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Absolutely loved my stay here! Lynn and Jeff were a true host! Great sense of humor and always available ! My room was very comfortable, spacious and clean! The lounge set up is perfect: ladies bathroom had two showers, two toilets and three sink with face towels always available. The kitchen area was large with anything you may need as well some extras like coffee, tea and sugar! Very well organized ! They also had a hot tub and a lounge area which I didn’t use! Car park was available inside the property! To me the highlight was the complimentary bike available to ride around lake Wanaka! It was so much fun! There are so many bike paths around! Highly recommended staying here!

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026The bedroom was nice and spacious, it had plenty of cupboard space for clothes, and a bedside table which is always handy. The clean, spacious kitchen provides you with tea, coffee and milk, and a pantry and fridge space dedicated to your room. The shared bathroom is internal, just a few doors away from the bedroom - equipped with face cloths and hair dryer. I was very impressed with the overall presentation, and would definitely stay again.
There was nothing to dislike. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others if they are looking for a clean, affordable location to stay in Wanaka, then you won't go wrong here.
