Duven Hotel Cappadocia

Ich war alleine unterwegs und habe mich in dem Hotel wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich das Frühstück – die Auswahl war riesig und definitiv eines der größten und vielfältigsten Frühstücke, die ich bisher in einem Hotel hatte. Die Aussicht auf die Burg ist wunderschön und die ganze Umgebung angenehm ruhig. Generell hat sich der Ort für mich ein bisschen wie ein kleines, gemütliches Dorf angefühlt, was ich sehr schön fand. Das Personal war durchweg sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Gleichzeitig kommt man trotz der ruhigen Lage mit dem Bus sehr gut in die umliegenden Orte, zum Beispiel nach Göreme. Für mich war es eine tolle Kombination aus Ruhe, schöner Aussicht und guter Anbindung. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt, Ich war alleine im Duven Hotel in Uçhisar und habe mich vom ersten Moment an absolut wohl und sicher gefühlt. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft mit einer grandiosen Aussicht. Das gesamte Personal ist unglaublich liebenswürdig und die Hilfsbereitschaft ist außergewöhnlich. Das Frühstück absolut fantastisch, super lecker.. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht an Suat – er war einfach klasse, mega nett und hat dafür gesorgt, dass mir an nichts fehlt. Ich komme definitiv wieder! 10/10!

Our room had fabulous views of the Uchisar castle and we could watch the balloons every morning from our windows, such a luxury! The hotel manager was also very welcoming and attentive.

Bathroom door didn't close properly, which can be a bit uncomfortable for couples who are still not too used to each other. The top shower head was broken and the shower didn't drain very well. Our room was also door to door with a common area terrace that got a bit noisy during some evenings.

The Hotel was fine. The Breakfast is amazing and the reception lady helped us with everything we need.

We booked the room with two beds. But we found with one size bed. So we have to split it in 2 bed.

El hotel de 10 con un único "pero" que nos estropeó la expectativa de ver los globos de cerca, ya que la foto del hotel es IA y los globos están demasiado lejos y nunca llegan a estar como en la foto que muestran. Habíamos cogido este hotel concretamente para verlos de cerca y perdimos esa experiencia por culpa de una foto engañosa.

The cold showers in the morning. I. The evening at 2200 it seemed fine, but 2 mornings in a row there was only cold water when we tried to shower at 06:00 as well as 08:30 and even 10:30. It seems if you want warm water it had to be way before sunrise. I would have thought they had hot water tanks to accommodate for early mornings.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό και άνετο με θέα το κάστρο. Ωραία ατμόσφαιρα και όλα κοντά για να δεις το Uçhisar.

Πέρα από το ότι το πρωινό είναι κάθε μερα ίδιο, τη μία μέρα δεν μας έφεραν αυγά τα οποία ρωτήσαμε, η σερβιτόρα μας είπε θα πληρωθούν έξτρα (ενώ την προηγούμενη μέρα πχ συμπεριλαμβάνονταν στο πρωινό) , αλλά στο τέλος δεν μας κράτησαν λεφτά. Το αναφέρω όχι ως κακό σχόλιο αλλά ως feedback για την βελτίωση του προσωπικού σας.

Emplacement superbe face au château d’Uchisar, dans le village qui est plus tranquille de Goreme tout en étant très proche. Le personnel très gentil et de bon conseil, notamment Ferhat. Très bon petit déjeuner, copieux.

L emplacement avec vue sur le château et a proximité des restaurants, le côté authentique du village d uchiçar, la gentillesse du personnel de l hôtel .

El desayuno está bien, típicamente turco, no hay cereales, ni fruta, y tampoco bollería o dulces exceptuando mermeladas, miel... Las vistas al castillo de Uchisar desde alguna habitación y la sala de desayuno son muy buenas.

Tras  ver el estado del hotel y su buena puntuación (que fue por lo que nos alojamos) consideramos que este alojamiento está viviendo de las buenas críticas que le da el tener unas magnificas vistas al castillo de Uchisar y no se molesta en absoluto en mantener su negocio. La realidad es que las fotos no están actualizadas. En primer lugar agradecer a la recepcionista que, tras nuestra  primera noche, vino a comprobar el estado de la habitación 110 "deluxe" y gestionó diligentemente un cambio. Muebles deteriorados, sucios, uno de los colchones estaba hundido (afortunadamente al ser una habitación para cuatro y nosotros ser tres usamos el que sobraba) una lámpara rota y otra sin bombillas, armario sin perchas... Pero lo peor sin duda era el baño: la ducha con moho, con un difusor que salpicaba en todas direcciones, el tirador de la cisterna del inodoro a veces se encajaba sin que uno pudiera sacarlo, provocando la consiguiente perdida de agua y ruido hasta que lentamente se recolocaba solo, y finalmente, el olor a alcantarilla, disimulado con fuertes ambientadores, cargaba el ambiente de toda la habitación y lo hacía irrespirable. No somos neuróticos de la limpieza pero la gerencia del hotel debería hacer un serio repaso por las habitaciones e instalaciones  y al menos limpiar las cortinas - incluidas las que adornan el cabezal de la cama, totalmente grises de mugre que se pegaba a los dedos- así como el moho de los baños. Las zonas comunes seguían la tónica general: suciedad en suelos, muebles y alfombras; macetas con colillas, papeleras y ceniceros rebosantes de basura que durante las dos noches en que estuvimos nadie limpió... La habitación "estrella" del hotel, a la que nos cambiaron, fue la suite nupcial, que verdaderamente tenía unas vistas magnificas, pero que tampoco estaba ni conservada ni limpia, ni la recomendaría para una pareja de luna de miel (aunque esta vez sí, había perchas y afortunadamente no olía a alcantarilla).

La colazione in stile turco era abbondante e varia, con formaggi, olive, uova a scelta fatte al momento, patatine fritte, pane, burro e vari tipi di marmellate artigianali, veramente speciale

OTTIMA SCELTA: posizione perfetta davanti al castello di Uchisar (dalla finestra della camera lo vedevo). Ristrutturato in modo splendido. Parcheggio disponibile davanti. Alla reception persone gentilissime che hanno sempre soddisfatto le ns richieste. Colazione ottime con tutto freschissimo e in una terrazza con vista castello! Lo consiglio al 100%.

Ottima esperienza! La posizione è perfetta, proprio accanto al castello, con una vista meravigliosa e, al mattino, uno spettacolo unico sulle mongolfiere. Personale sempre gentile e accogliente, spesso pronto a offrire tè. Molto apprezzati i kit da bagno completi e gli accappatoi. Qualche piccolo dettaglio da sistemare, ma nulla di importante considerando l’ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliato!

Konumu çok iyiydi. Araç park etmede hiç bir sorun yaşamadım. Kahvaltılar her gün aynı olmasına rağmen oldukça lezzetliydi. Çalışanlar aksaklıkların giderilmesi için hemen tepki verip çözdüler .

111 no’lu aile odasında kaldım. Hemen üst tarafta mutfak ve onunla ilintili bir bölüm olduğundan çok erken saatlerde sesler başlıyordu.

Very nice location with a great view of the castle. Parking is inadequate, but it’s a tough town for parking. Our room #114 had a fantastic view. Saren, who was the daytime reception person, was fantastic and a lot,of help.

This was my second stay at this hotel, after my first visit in 2013, and I was delighted to see that time has only made it better. The hotel is a visual delight, tastefully decorated, and offers breathtaking views over Pigeon Valley and Uchisar Castle—one of the most beautiful panoramas in all of Cappadocia. The staff are exceptionally attentive and helpful, the breakfast is outstanding with an impressive variety of options, and the rooms are very comfortable. I have nothing but good things to say about this place; it truly felt like home, and I will definitely be coming back

Excellent petit déjeuner. Un bel hotel de charme avec feu de bois en hiver dans le lobby. Vue exceptionnelle depuis la chambre, mais chambre legerement bruyante car des voitures demarrent la nuit ou se gare au pied de la chambre. le personnel tres sympatique.

La salle de bain/toilette qui n'est pas chauffée ( ou mal avec seulement des chauffe-serviettes) était glaciale. Mais douche tres agréable et eau bien chaude.

Le wifi a tendance à demander à être reconnecté et le petit déjeuner à 8h30 est un peu tard.

Klimatyczny kamienny budynek, w całości wyremontowany, Świetna lokalizacja (samo centrum miejscowości, ale bez tłoku, samochód można zaparkować łatwo i bez dodatkowych opłat w sąsiedztwie hotelu). Świetny widok na zamek i okolice z tarasu i części śniadaniowej. Bardzo dobre śniadanie hotelowe. O wchodzie słońca świetny widok na Goreme / balony z punktu ok. 150 metrów od hotelu, ale z samego hotelu też są widoczne w porze śniadaniowej. Obsługa pomocna. Sam Uchisar spokojniejszy od Goreme, z lepszym widokiem "z góry".

Niektóre elementy wyposażenia pokoju nieco niedopracowane lub zużyte (słuchawka prysznica, odpływ w łazience, słabo świecące oświetlenie). WI-FI ma dobry zasięg i szybkość, ale proces logowania jest dość skomplikowany i wymagał interwencji obsługi przy podłączaniu kolejnych urządzeń.

Amazing location next to the „castle“, with views for breakfast and from the rooftop (my picture is from rooftop). Super staff who knew all our names by the 2nd day. Huge breakfast.

Our room was a little stinky from the bathroom drainage. But we didn’t spend much time in there, just sleeping. Too much to see and do in the area!

Das Beistellbett für das Kind war leider kaputt. Die Musik aus dem Restaurant war bis 12 Uhr nachts ziemlich laut, was alle Gäste des Hotel gehört haben.

It was a nice, excellent and calm stay in Uchisar. The manager is so kind and polite. The breakfast is amazing, variant and very tasty. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Tivemos uma estadia absolutamente maravilhosa neste hotel! O café da manhã, que estava incluído, foi surpreendentemente generoso. Honestamente, para nós foi mais do que suficiente. Os quartos são muito espaçosos, limpos e confortáveis, perfeitos para relaxar, com chá, café e água gratuitos, chinelos de quarto, roupão, mantas, etc. O bar tem uma vista incrível do Castelo de Uçhisar, o que o torna um lugar realmente especial para passar o tempo. Também quero destacar a gentileza e hospitalidade do dono do hotel, que foi sempre atencioso, prestativo e genuinamente interessado em nos fazer sentir bem-vindos. No geral, tudo foi excelente e não poderíamos recomendar mais!

Location and hotel was great. Views of Uchisar Castle from restaurant were brilliant. Breakfast was substantial , we would have eaten about a third of the food. They give couples the same size platters as 4 people, too much food. They could save money by giving couples reduced amounts on the platter.

We had been told that one coffee in the morning was included , but any after that we would have to pay for. Then on checkout they charged us for our breakfast coffee. Also don't use the hotel for hot air balloon rides or horse riding tickets. They charge too much commission eg the horse riding website says 30EUR each, the hotel charged us 50EUR each. They said transfers were included, but it was a clapped out VW van with no AC and suspension. Prefer to drive myself instead and save 40EUR as we had a car. Use travel agents for tickets instead.

L'emplacement face au château d'Uchisar est excellent. La vue depuis la terrasse et le restaurant est magnifique car on surplombe la plaine. Le parking est facile dans le rue devant l'hôtel. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. Le petit déjeuner turc avec quelques variantes chaque matin était très bien. Nous étions à 5mn de voiture de Goreme qui est plus animé. Excellent rapport qu alité prix.

La posizione del hotel è perfetta, le camere, la terrazza e il salone dove viene servita la colazione sono proprio di fronte al castello di Uchisar e alla valle di Goreme. È possibile vedere le mongolfiere alzarsi in volo direttamente dalla terrazza. Lo staff è stato veramente gentile e professionale, ci ha assistito in tutto, il primo giorno siamo arrivati senza valige poiché la compagnia aerea le aveva smarrite e loro si sono subito adoperati nel chiamare il centro assistenza turco per chiedere la spedizione presso l’aeroporto di Nesehir entro la giornata, inoltre si sono offerti di andare a prenderle di persona al posto nostro. Il servizio ristorazione e bar, effettuato sulla terrazza, è molto buono. Le stanze sono molto confortevoli e ben curate. La collazione turca, servita nella sala panoramica, è veramente buona ed abbondante. Hotel consigliatissimo, non solo per la posizione o il confort, ma anche per la professionalità e disponibilità dello staff.

Die Lage des Hotels mit der tollen Aussicht besonders auf die Burg Uchisar hat uns sehr gefallen. Gemütliches Hotel, angenehme Atmosphäre, schön eingerichtete und saubere Zimmer. Tolles und vielseitiges Frühstück. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel können wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und würden es auch wieder buchen.

Cet établissement est idéalement placé avec une terrasse et vue superbe. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. Le plus, un petit déjeuner incroyablement beau et bon, d’une qualité et quantité exceptionnelles.

Everything was fantastic. Suat the manager made me feel at home and all of his staff are very friendly and helpful. In addition, he helped me to arrange a last minute visit to Goreme open air museum at a reasonable price. The hotel’s location cannot be beaten as it is 1 min away from Uchisar Castle. The food in the restaurant is absolutely wonderful - the chef is a young Turkish woman and everything she makes is great. From the restaurant, you can enjoy the view of Uchisar castle, the surrounding fairy chimneys and the pigeon valley.
