Locality

Room was tired and not clean. Stained bathroom. Chipped paint. Needs updating and a good clean desperately. The most uncomfortable bed. No headboard, and stains on the wall above the bed. I would not recommend Arch Hotel. Overpriced for what you get.

Anche se in posizione non centrale, la vicina stazione metro (Northern line) e le numerose linee bus consentono il rapido spostamento verso tutte le destinazioni. Anche il quartiere, molto carino, tipico e con ogni servizio è da annotare positivamente. La struttura dell'hotel è molto caratteristica e le stanze soppalcate davvero carine come soluzione familiare. Bagno ampio e pulito, angolo cottura comodo. Comodo distributore d'acqua potabile (gratuita) in corridoio.

La pulizia delle camere lascia davvero a desiderare: le unità interne dell'aria condizionata erano davvero sporche; la moquette ed il pavimento al piano inferiore sporchi e rovinati in più punti. Puzza di muffa.

The location was perfect for where I was working. Local amenities are good. Ample parking but expensive at £20 per night. Bed was comfortable but only 2 pillows

The location was perfect for where I was working, however: 1, I asked for an iron and ironing board, when it arrived the ironing bord had no cover so I was expected to iron my clothes on the metal mesh. I actually went across the road and bought an ironing board cover which i have left there. 2, The room was clean but very tired in places and needs somelove. 3, I undertsand that places like this require constant maintenance but there was filler in the walls everywhere. 4, My TV had no remove, so could not be used and the receptionist just shrugged her shoulders when I mentioned it. 5, There is no working space, so I ended up using the ironing board (with new cover) as a desk. This place is clearly a contractor type accommodation, if I had known that, I probably would not have stayed there but at least my expectations would have lower. I dont think I will be staying again, even thought I often work 200 metres away.

Clean and roomy

Lots oi f noise, family opposite had a bahy who cried sll night, thwy left ea RT ly in morning and cleaner was banging atound in the morning with room door wide open i opened my door and she quickly closed the door so it shut out a bit of the noise. I barely slept, the acostics of building means all noise echos arund the hallway

The area and location were great and private parking was fantastic. Great place to stay for access to Camden. Tube station less than 5 minutes walk and only 3 stops to Camden, fantastic. Finding somewhere in London with affordable parking is difficult so this is a big advantage to this hotel.

The bed had broken boards and was uncomfortable, this really should be addressed and new bed purchased. The room was spacious but needs some upkeep. The furniture was damaged, flooring worn and chipped, was like a low budget hotel or hostel. The carpets on the stairs were filthy, bin bags full of smelly rubbish in corridors.

De locatie was heel goed. Dicht bij bus en metro, ook een mooie wijk met veel voorzieningen, restaurantjes etc.

We misten vooral een tafel! Er is wel een keuken (magnetron, koelkast, spoelbak) maar niet echt een fijne plek om het eten op te eten. Of om bv een spelletje te doen etc.

I wouldn't hire their cleaners in my house. The room was relatively clean at first impression, but the drains of the bathtub and sink were clogged and the water wouldn't go down. The kitchenware was also cleaned, but the way that we decided to clean it once again before using. Apart from that, all good.

Location was good.. Having a fridge , microwave and kettle in the room is very useful. The bedroom and bathroom were a very good size.

We only stayed one night but it is apparent that there is a lot of work that needs to be done both internally and externally. In fairness there seems to be some refurbishment being undertaken. The receptionist on duty when we arrived was not particularly pleasant, however the other staff we met were.

The location and car park facilities.

Cleanliness. Tiredness. Looked awful inside the room. No hot water for a shower. Lack of enthusiasm to fix it and treat it as an urgent issue. Affected the entire hotel. I expected a speedy response but didn’t get one and had to wash long hair in cold water. Dirty marks over the emulsion walls; paint chipped ; wooden trims lifting. Shower curtain mouldy. Really dreadful. Air conditioning units has exposed wires and looked lethal. We didn’t turn it on as looked like a fire risk but it came on in the middle of the night by itself. This was when London had 30 degree temperatures.

Extremely Disappointing Stay Unfortunately, I feel completely ripped off by this hotel. I paid £170 per night expecting a reasonable standard of accommodation, but what I experienced was extremely disappointing. The hotel looked as though the décor had not been changed in decades. The walls were dirty, parts of the flooring were lifting, and the carpets were extremely dirty and worn. There was laundry piled up in orange bags throughout the hallway, and even a ladder was left sitting in the hotel. The air-conditioning units did not work, which was particularly unpleasant because the weather was extremely hot. The staff were also very unapproachable. Whenever you tried to speak to them, their attitude and manner made you feel uncomfortable rather than welcomed. I am honestly shocked that Booking.com allows guests to pay £170 for accommodation in this condition. When I contacted Booking.com to raise my concerns, I was disappointed by the lack of support and was simply told that they could not resolve the issue. I will, however, acknowledge one positive thing. There was a gentleman who eventually helped me when I was struggling with the heat and feeling as though I might pass out. He changed my room, which did make the situation somewhat better, and I genuinely appreciate him for taking action when I needed help. Overall, though, I would not recommend this hotel. If you are expecting a clean, modern and comfortable hotel for £170, you are likely to be extremely disappointed. I certainly would not stay there again.

‘Garden suite’ small, cramped and badly maintained. Black mould in the shower, the aircon rattled so loud we had to turn it off and we got woken up by a fire alarm because of another guest smoking at half five. Certainly no place for a family and the pictures on booking oversell it.

Bon accueil du personnel L'hôtel est bien situé : à 5 min à pied de la station archway sur la Northern line. Au nord du centre de Londres, il a été assez facile de le rejoindre en voiture. Le quartier est en outre assez sympathique, de nombreux magasins et pubs et restaurants juste à côté. L'hôtel est un peu à l'écart de la rue principale donc plutôt au calme, pas de bruit de métro par exemple. Le parking est pratique mais il est cher. Le studio en duplex était pas mal, mais la 2e chambre est en mezzanine et donc non isolée de celle du dessous et c'était plutôt propre. J'ai souhaité rajouter une nuit et comme le duplex n'était plus disponible, j'ai pu et du prendre 2 mini studios. Dans un sens ces mini studios sont mieux agencés que le duplex. La climatisation fonctionnait bien. Rapport qualité-prix plutôt correct pour un hôtel à Londres, ça pourrait être mieux.

Le duplex est assez grand pour dormir à 2 couples mais attention aux ronfleurs car la 2e chambre est en mezzanine et donc non isolées l'une de l'autre. Il n'y a qu'une grand rideau pour occulter la lumière , c'est un mauvais point à souligner la majorité des hôtels où appartements anglais : pas de volet, on est réveillé tôt en été et il peut faire chaud. Un duplex avec une kitchenette et un mini frigo c'est bien mais pas de table ni chaise(sauf dans la mezzanine) pour manger 1 snack... Le duplex méritait un coup de frais

De locatie en buitenkant mooi gebouw waar binnenin helaas niets meer van de stijl over is.

Tja eigenlijk alles. Voor het geld wat betaald verwacht je een netjes hotelkamer. Alles was smoezelig, waterschade op de vloer, muren niet netjes, plinten niet overal, plafond waar de stuclaag loslaat, slot van de kamer waar het pasje niet goed mee werkt. Badkamer waar vieze kitranden zitten. Douchputje verstopt en tot twee keer toe gevraagd om het op te lossen en niet gelukt. Gordijnen niet verduisterend en kunnen ook niet goed dicht. Airco is kapot en blaast alleen wind geen gekoelde wind en de afstandsbediening is ervan kapot.

Flooring was old and damaged, the bed sheets were clean but had multiple stains, bathroom was dirty - shower curtain was black with mould, orange stains around most of the shower, grout not cleaned, no cap on drain, mirror in bedroom had no light, furniture had scuffs and stains, stains and marks all over walls

Convenient for Archway and for local buses. Very helpful, friendly staff. Room was a good size and it had air conditioning!

Sound proofing not great so we were a bit disturbed by the people and children in the room above us.

The shower worked.

The room had been "accidentally" given to two separate parties, mine and someone else. Housekeeping had to come in to re-clean the room. However, they left this other persons belongings in the room so a member of my party had to go out and give it to reception. Then a male memember of staff came over to explain what had happened, but was entirely putting the blame on the female member of staff that it honestly sounded like bullying. When brought up the fact of someone else having access to the room, they clearly had not thought of that and messed around with the key cards. I felt completely unsafe leaving my belongings in that room, even after the key cards were sorted, as I could not trust the staff. This is before the general state of the room. There is so much maintenance that needs to happen to a "4* hotel". There were handprint stains all over the wall, the flooring was all scuffed, the carpets grimey and stained and the air conditioning unit was full of mold. The beds were super uncomfortable to sleep in. Im not one to complain but this completely ruined my trip for me, despite me trying to be friendly to the staff.

Lovely big room - in fact 2 rooms, with cool aircon on one of the hottest nights this year. Very convenient for Archway tube and shops for breakfast. It was bigger and as nice as a Hilton Executive room we'd recently had in Birmingham, and much cheaper even in the capital. I have a video but can't upload it

Es liegt der Bahnhof Upper Holloway gleich daneben wenn man Richtung Stansted Airport will und die U-Bahn Station Archway in 5 min Fußmarsch wenn man ins Zentrum oder nach Camden Town will. Es befand sich ein Wasserspender im Erdgeschoss wo wir uns immer unsere Wasserflaschen gefüllt haben. Ein kleiner Tesco und Sainsbury befinden sich gleich ums Eck. Ebenso ein KFC und Starbucks.

Es gab eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer jedoch hat die nur bedingt gekühlt. Nach 24h Dauereinsatz hatten wir immer noch 26 Grad im Zimmer. Wir haben dem Hotelpersonal Bescheid gesagt jedoch konnten die nichts tun. Das Hotel verfügt über keinen Lift im Haus. Wenn man einen Kinderwagen hat, ist ein Zimmer im 1. Stock nicht ideal. Es hab keinen Haarföhn und keine Taschentücherbox im Zimmer.

Blood all over the floor in one of the bedrooms. When I spoke to a member of staff at reception they said that they couldn’t do anything and that there was no other rooms. This made us feel very uncomfortable after reading other reviews of staff members walking into peoples rooms in the middle of the night. I felt too scared to go to sleep, which made the whole stay awful. The rooms look nothing like the images shown online. There were marks all over the wall and dirty carpets. I would never stay here ever again. When speaking to reception in the morning they gave us a 10% refund. We paid £100 each. Absolute joke!!

Fantastic location with parking and close to tube station

Broken a/c unit. Water running down the wall to control panel. Been that way for a long time looking at the staining running down the wall. Only a matter of time until an electrical fault or worse! Bathroom floor tiles cracked and moving as tiles have separated from adhesive. Wall tiles have also split away from plasterboard. No hot water on final morning so no showers Main bed felt like a camp bed so both slept on single.

Needs work. Front door has a gap all the way round, water damage everywhere, mould in bathroom, aircon drips on to bed, aircon doesn’t cool.

Good location for Finsbury Park (walking distance) and Camden Market (short bus ride). And has parking.

Staff weren’t very friendly, uncomfortable bed, no hot water, not the cleanest. Wasn’t aware also that parking was an extra cost on top of what we had already paid to stay. Overpriced.

Everything. The bedroom had no lighting. Our room was not changed nor were the lightbulbs fitted. We booked for 2 nights so were told that light will be fixed tomorrow. Next day they brought bedside lamps but without bulbs in them. We had to spend 2 nights for which we paid 300+ GBPs without a working light in our bedroom. Staff did not take our concer seriously.

The only good thing about this property is the staff were understanding and nice

This is a complete scam. Looks absolutely nothing like the photos. Dirty, lose wires everywhere, bed bugs. Do not stay here! Refusing to give me a refund even though we were completely scammed by these photos. Don’t make the same mistake we did!!

Good location close to tube station. Bathroom was clean and looked new and modern. Aircon was working in room. It’s okay for a one night stay but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer than that.

We were told they could provide a cot for our baby but when we checked in they were unaware of it and told there was probably not a cot available. They managed to eventually bring us a cot which was broken and filthy so we refused it, they would have charged us £15 to use it! The room had stains on the walls and curtains, the furniture and walls were cracked. It’s more like a 2 star hotel.

The room was very tatty, the facilities list needs reviewing asap. There was no toaster or iron. The room was clean but extremely scruffy. I didn’t feel comfortable walking around barefoot after my shower.

Absolutely lovely hotel only a tube ride away from Central London. We stayed for a gig at the Emirates and it was a 35min walk or a 10min uber journey. Lots of cafes, shops and a few pubs located near to the hotel. Room was great, spacious and had everything we needed. Even had a fridge and a microwave. Staff were friendly, could buy water or cans of coke or Fanta from reception and this is manned 24hrs a day. Lovely accomodation, would definitely stay again if I were to book a gig at the Emirates.

It’s location… and the staff were really helpful

Our bedroom had a massive poo stain next to the bed which hadn’t been cleaned up properly but looked like it had been there a while. Thankfully we had an executive room so had another floor for a bed.

We had an excellent stay and would happily return in the future. The location was fantastic, with easy access to local attractions, transport links, shops and restaurants. We found it to be great value for money and an ideal base for exploring London. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel offered everything we needed for our stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I didn't want to leave

We were looking for a last minute reservation at a low cost and we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I wouldn't call it a 4 star hotel, however, the location was great and the bed was really comfy. It also had air conditioning which was excellent as we experienced a heatwave. The staff were also lovely and welcoming.

Could use a little maintenance and updating.

Good location for Emirates and for the parade which is why we chose this location

❌Dangerous - Please read ❌ My son, travelling alone, booked into this hotel on 22nd May 2026. While sleeping around half past midnight a male employee entered his room unannounced and no explanation given. My son was terrified. He immediately called me and I submitted reviews to different platforms to alert travellers to this situation. What then proceeded, was numerous members of staff approaching my son and pressurising him for the reviews to be deleted. I will reiterate, my son was alone and felt intimidated by this. Now imagine this was your child. Imagine this was your son. Or even worse, what if this was your daughter and a male staff member enters her room while she is alone and sleeping. This hotel is not safe.
