A large spacious room with lovely bathroom overlooking the back garden. Very clean, tea and coffee with some milk to see us through our 2 day stay. Breakfast was yummy. Excellent location, very welcoming hosts. Great stay.

Such a lovely and unique place to stay! The house is a beautiful old English home with so much character, and it was really nice getting to experience something a little different from a typical hotel. The hosts were both very welcoming and helpful, gave us recommendations for the area, and even let me borrow an umbrella when I needed one. They also prepared a breakfast box for us on our last morning as we had to leave very early, which was such a thoughtful touch

I stayed in the room at the very top of the house, which was really cute and spacious. The only downside was that there was quite a strong musty/unusual smell in the room. I noticed it throughout my stay and did wake up feeling a little unwell one morning, so I do think it may be worth checking whether there is an issue with damp or mould in that part of the house. I obviously can’t say for certain what was causing the smell, but it was noticeable enough that I think it’s worth mentioning. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay. It’s a charming little place with lovely hosts, and I really appreciated how welcoming and accommodating they were. 😊

My second visit in order to get to the local hospital, this time for a new hip. So kind and helpful. Definitely going the extra mile.

Everything was great, room was fab very comfortable you had all the things for making tea l loved the milk bottle. Tanya and Robert were fantastic hosts and breakfast was more than adequate. We will be back again and would recommend them to our friends.

Its charm and cleanliness. The hosts were friendly and hospitable.

Not being warned that the only window in the bedroom was quite small and was low ( from approx one’s knee to the floor in height) That there was a beam that if you got up in the night you had to be careful not to bang your head on and that there was a step down from the sleeping space necessitated a light in the bathroom ( which was poorly lit) needing to be left in over night.

Really friendly hosts, excellent breakfast and nicely located for what we wanted to do.

The bed wasn’t as comfortable but that’s very much a personal thing! Otherwise nothing!

Tanya & Robert we excellent hosts. The rooms were spacious and equiped with all we needed. Breakfast on the terrace was first class.

Parking close to the property was a challenge so we decided to leave our car at a public car park a 2 minute walk away. The car park was safe and fees did not apply overnight.

Breakfasts in the shady garden at a civilised time were excellent - variety, choice, quality and cooking were all excellent. Room and showering facilities also great.

Absolutely nothing could have been done - we stayed over a heatwave weekend and the room was always very hot - even with fan going. In such an old brick and stone house also realise nothing more could be done to help.

Robert and Tania were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good. Our whole stay was spot on.

What a fab little find. The hosts were great, very friendly & chatty. Attention to detail was amazing - bubble bath, milk & chocolate in fridge, the teeny ketchup & brown sauce bottles. The breakfast was hot & delicious, plus cereal & toast available. The bed was comfy, room was lovely and the hosts had done all they could to keep it cool. Plenty of space. Great communication and responses prior to arrival too. We will definitely return.

Would of liked the option to have breakfast in the house as it was particularly hot outside. However the terrace is very nice as is the rest of the property.

Bed a bit too soft for us but still comfortable. Room a bit too hot. Did request the heating to be adjusted in our room as we were not able to adjust the thermostatic valve.

No fault of the hosts as their service was great but the town itself was tired with lots of the High Street establishments closed down. Limited places to eat and drink post 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

Beautiful property with all the charm of a traditional country cottage. Gorgeous spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows, very quiet so good sleep on both nights. Spacious bathroom with powerful shower. Tea and coffee in room + cold water for drinking. Highlight was the fantastic breakfast made by Tanya, everything made to order with a range of cereals, juices, tea and fresh coffee. Couldn’t fault the full English. Hosts were warm and welcoming. 5* review, highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area.

It was a great location and the room was very spacious.

It was a lovely property with a very welcoming feeling from the moment I arrived. Rob and Tanya were absolutely lovely. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable and the location so close to the town centre was ideal.

Tanya and Robert were the loveliest hosts - we felt right at home instantly and they couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the garden was gorgeous. After reading the reviews, we knew we had to stay here and it was beyond expectations!

The village/town is very run down and not picturesque as we had hoped- the property is the best in the village but parking on street is challenging,

Unser Zimmer war sehr schön, in einem uralten Haus, das liebevoll und gekonnt von dem Paar, das das B&B betreibt, saniert worden ist. Wir haben uns dort richtig wohl gefühlt und wir fanden es auch schön, immer wieder einer von den insgesamt fünf Katzen zu begegnen. Für Katzenallergiker wohl eher nichts. Das Frühstück findet in der Küche der Besitzer statt, beide helfen zusammen, um den Gast wirklich alles zu bieten, was er will. Die 'poached eggs' macht niemand so perfekt wie Tanja. Es ergeben sich dabei auch nette Gespräche mit wertvollen Tipps für die Umgebung. Das Auto kann man direkt vorm Haus parken. Wenn alle Zimmer belegt sind, dürfte es etwas eng werden, aber in der näheren Umgebung finden sich immer Stellplätze.

Breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. cooked and served by fabulous owners. Town was a short 5-6 minute walk, country side the same. Easy links to footpaths also easy access to all of road network.Very quiet, best Bed in a long time and easy parking. Very difficult to fault only issue was we only stayed ONE night. Thank you

A lovely old house owned and managed by a lovely couple who do everything they can to make you welcome and comfortable

This is a fabulous ‘old’ house brought up to date sympathetically so the character isn’t lost. The room we stayed in was excellent, great sized bed, en-suite, plenty of room, tea / coffee - fresh milk etc. Very clean and quite frankly nothing even small to be critical of. Perfect base for exploring this part of Somerset.
