Location

Quite old and no choice for amenities in toilet.

Excellent location.

A standard no frills hotel. Room was spacious and in acceptable cleanliness. As its located along the many dining, shopping belt, a little noise can be expected during thos peak hours (this make it such a good location). From counter staff, housekeeping to the 'bell-boy', they were all polite and friendly. I enjoyed my stayed here and definitely would.choose this property again for future visit (room rate is reasonable compared to some 5stars on the same stretch of the street).

Horrible

Wifi is the worst I ever find in any hotel

Nice room for the price, great view of the mountains, only issue was a weird musty odour in the room - probably from the cleaners mop. For the special price it was a great stay great location.

Location very good. Rooms very good. We paid extra for shuttle transfer, we had someone waiting for us at the airport and give us a note to remind us when to pick us up on departure day. Excellent service.

very nice! so close to everywhere of Nimman! wide, clean condition of room & wonderful shower of high pressure. I recommend this hotel!!

Good location

The WiFi was extremely unreliable and power went out for at least four hours one of the nights after a short rainstorm. However, the location is wonderful and for the price, it’s a decent value.

Hotel was near recommended bars and restaurants. Held my bags after check out! Staff seem a bit unorganized

The stay was lovely and room clean and comefortable. Well situated only downside was the breakfasts.

What I didn't like, no left from the ground floor otherwise perfect.

This is not our first time staying at this hotel. Every is good as always. Staffs are very helpful and friendly

Reasonable Price/not suitable for heavy baggage/near 7-11

Great experience, centrally located to many restaurants and cafes.

Good hotel and nice staff. I will comeback if I have chance.

The hotel appears to be worn and needs an upgrade. Staff was kind and service minded. It's has a nice location and has everything within walking distance. One side of the hotel was bothered by airtraffic departing CNX Elevator starts at 2nd floor(!) Not coming back.

We could not understand why guests have to lug their luggage to the 2nd floor to take the elevator. Just after the stairs, there is a slight hump that is not visible. This can easily cause guests to stumble. Hope something can be done.

Location is good, just a little away from the center but with plenty of restaurants and bars around. This is also a downside as there will be loud music every day till midnight and you can hear it through the walls. Also you always have to slam the doors close (due to the type of lock) which makes it noisy. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast buffet is sufficient. One other thing that should be noted is that to reach the elevator you have to climb a flight of stairs first. So if you have troubles with walking or a lot of heavy luggage, think again.

- Location is good. It locate in the middle of Nimmahemin area - Surrounded by Coffee shop, Restaurant & Night bar - Car Park is limited - Late check-in available, you can check-in hotel at midnight while other hotels often limit at 20:00-22:00

Nice room, friendly staff, good location, good breakfast.

Location is good but car park area is very limited and no proper sign to entry in the car park

Totolly hotel is good. Center of Nimman you can walk around.

Nice hotel, good location

The hotel is nice and bed very comfortable. I had the room with the mountain view which was breath-taking. The buffet breakfast very limited, but there egg omelate station was amazing and highly recommend.

Good hotel I recommend , is family friendly , good staff

From the pictures on the booking I was expecting something far newer, more comfortable, and cleaner. Upon entering, the room smelled musty like humid air had sat in there for a while. The staff did a nice job cleaning it each day and all of the lights and facilities were in working order. The saving grace of this stay, for me, was the complimentary breakfast buffet. It was large, delicious, and a perfect way to start each day.

The room was very clean, restaurant nothing great--no one speaks English. Hotel does not have laundry service, if you need to use hotel internet it is 400baht per hour. Overall not sure I would stay there again.

nice location with a good price, clean room, confortable bed nice Doi suthep view~ i will stay again next time.

Was there for Songkran and the hotel stay was 2nd one with them. The location is about 5-6 min into Soi 9 and there are a few nice cafes near the hotel. Wifi was not very good but rooms were clean and I liked the local breakfast variety there.

Good location

Wifi Internet is completely unreliable. I had to rely on my smartphone. Staff are friendly, breakfast is basic.

hotel was quite modern , rooms were large with flat screen tv. very clean i had balcony and great view. good choice at breakfast had a struggle to get the staff to understand what i wanted but thats a minor detail would book again

Comfortable walking to food area and easy looking for enjoy night life

I recommend this hotel. It really is the best hotel in the Nimman area of town. A solid buffet breakfast, wonderful airy lobby, and friendly service. Rooms were large and clean with good wifi. What else could anyone ask for. And yes, the price was right.

Not the first time stayed here and as good as usual! Unbeatable location for explored Nimman Area! Staffs are helpful and nice always! Room is big enough with strong air condition! Hair dryer is provided at the room too! Clean the room and provide 2 bottles of water daily! Must recommend!

Best location and good service

Nice place dining and party. a room was clean and staff very nice

The staff at the hotel is very friendly. I found it a headache for a farang to buy cheap airline ticket online. You can't use your foreign credit or debit card. The lady helped me order it online and paid it at 7-eleven. The only thing bothers me in this hotel is the WiFi, difficult to get connected. I think they need to improved their WiFi server software.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff moved my luggage to another room without my permit. It was illegal !

The room was small and the air-conditioner didn't seem to cool the room down. I had to log in to the wifi numerous times each day. However, they had a full breakfast. I would stay here again for its convenient location. It is just off a main road and quiet.

Good location, towels were ripped, breakfast tod the greatest. Hotel staff not very helpful.

Good

Good

Hotel was ok for the price. Free wifi connection was bad. Great location for cafe hopping. Easy to get transport down to the saturday and sunday night markets. Plenty of little massage places around but the masseur's skills are hit-or-miss.

Well kept Hotel- room was spotless. Rooms a bit stark- could use a few pictures or decoration to spice it up a bit. However, it is a budget hotel and for price better than what I expected. Breakfast was average, staff was friendly albeit struggling with English- but I dont judge because Im in Thailand and my Thai is horrendous. Overall a good stay, great views from 9th floor- worth a few extra bucks for bakcony room. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location walkable to many cafe, bar, boutique store, and the newly built Maya up-scale shopping center. The room was clean, the wifi is super fast (I was able to stream youtube), and staff was friendly.

Overall good hotel and in a good location. Certainly in an area where you don't get hassled.

Great location and that's the only good thing. Rooms near the end of corridor gets no wifi reception at all, overall bad and slow connection. 3 star but no kettle, no amenities, no safety boxes in the rooms. Anyone can get in and out to the hotel without reception noticing. Very highly priced compared to competition.

room very clean, and workers here very friendly and kindly,

Over all this hotel is a perfect place to stay in Nimman Area, especially those who want to spend a night life in Nimman area, the location is great the price is reasonable , the room cleanliness is exceptional , I love to recommend this hotel to any one who want something value for money.

Given the rates, I'm not expecting much from the hotel given that it is in a good location. However, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BELONGINGS AROUND ON THE TABLE IN THE ROOM! I lost my mobile phone and when I ask the reception to assist which he kindly did, he managed to call my 'lost mobile number' and speak to the thief but he don't seem to be demanding the guy to return my phone. I read another review on this site and seems that someone else also lost something in the hotel not too long ago. So I suspect it is the hotel staffs that goes to the room to steal the tourists belonging. So yes, this may be cheap but in the end you might end up paying more.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. it is not my first choice but it is a fallback when others I like are not available. It is an old hotel that was somewhat refurbished a few years ago but the rooms are still dates with older furniture. They are however large (at least the exec suite is) and cheap. Mostly Thai guests and the breakfast buffet is ok but has not changed in years and is about the same daily with only minor food choice changes. But for the money and location it works. there is a nightclub that can get loud behind it but that is going to close in the next couple weeks.

Very nice location , close to all nice restaurants and street foods . Helpful staff and very safe.

Room is clean and huge. The front desk staff are friendly, when speaking to them, use simple english and get it straight to the point. Not much english channels, mostly translate to Thai. The view from the hotel room is nice, we can enjoy sunset view from the room. We need to go to the corridor to see the sunrise. (our room at level 9) Walking distance to a Cafes, bar and local food restaurant and it is near to the airport (around 10-15 minutes ride).

great service, fantastic value for money

Spacious room, tidy up my room everyday, good air-condition, location is unbeatable, there are lots of cafes & restaurants nearby. Helpful frontdesk, i must stay here again if i come back to CM

Hotel very clean.. But just a little hard to find.. Very quiet.. Good for relax

Fantastic service from the lobby manager!

I stayed one night at MayFlower Grande Chiang Mai, It was good. The hotel is located in good area surrounded by nice restaurants, pubs and cafes.

close for doi Suthep !!! a lot of cafe and restaurant !!! I will go back again !!! :))

Everything is ok, but noisy from nearby club

Average. Noisy surrounding at night due to nearby bar/pub, wifi signal is weak and poor air conditioner.

Overall I was pretty happy with my time at Mayflower. I stayed for 3 nights, and the staff did everything possible to assist me during my stay. The hotel was perfectly situated for access to Nimmanhaimin. The room was nice and quiet despite the noise of that general area.My only reservation was that the wifi situation was a little strange. Sometimes it would drop unexpectedly, but not too often.

The hotel is in the center of Nimman area night life. My room was on the 6th floor, i could feel the bass pumping from the pub near by until 2am. The room is clean, nothing wrong with the service, only the noise and the night crowd. If you're looking for a peaceful resting place, look somewhere else.

Very pleased

I was very pleased. Hotel was peaceful, room large, AC was powerful. Area is lively and safe, and very trendy.

150baht tuk tuk to old city. Fun night life all around hotel. We were next to the Monkey bar witch is wild spot and we could hear it in are room. The people here are awesome wish we could stay longer.

Really enjoyed staying here as a young male. Area was amazing. Tons of good food and Thai university style night life. Staff was very helpful and nice. Hotel was clean and I think represented very good value.
