Motel 6-Brandon, MB

Most of it - except the bathroom

Bathroom need an upgrade

Not much for breakfast if you are keto or caravore dieting. No scrambled eggs.

Room was precooled as it was HOT and HUMID out! Nice! Quiet building and convenient to some restaurants and gas stations. Breakfast looked fine although all we had time for was a coffee and muffin. Love the pet friendliness as we had our pack of 3 with us for the trip .. they enjoyed their stay.

The convenient location and staff was friendly

My room smelt like pure mold and mildew, the bath tub had mold on it and clearly was continuously recaulked to try and hide the mold that’s coming through. I gagged walking into the room. The walls were clearly having issues with moisture, AC was having issues with moisture. The room looked like it hadn’t even been cleaned before me. Dirt all over the floors, tub was nasty, sink counter top had dirt and grime stuck on it. The walls had marks everywhere. For $200 I definitely expected a little bit better atleast an attempt to clean the room. My fridge continuously made a loud clicking sound. The lock on the door was completely broken and useless. Pillows were clumpy like balls of foam in them and blankets were bare minimum. I had to use blankets from the other bed to double up as I swear I was sleeping with sheets. Honestly that room was so unsanitary. Some man’s stinky boots were in the hallway on the first floor it was disgusting. I have way more pictures than I can post

Bath tub didn't drain. Not the cleanest. Expensive for a basic hotel room.

Location

Easy access to the restaurant and all services

lots of traffic on the main highway

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. The staff is helpful.

The smell in the room and in the hallway. It was not a dirty smell, but something a bit odd. Also I assume this is just me, but the room had a weird feeling, I missed the warm, cozy atmosphere.

The breakfast was totally underwhelming

No coffee maker in room, only two small pillows

Average

It was easy to access from the highway

The AC wasn’t working properly on a 38° day.

Nice clean and comfortable

They didn’t have shampoo. Us body wash I was told.

Friendly staff, clean, pets welcomed ( no charge).

Nothing

Convenience & amazing staff!

Nil

It was good, convenient location in building

Loud tv across the hall

Great size room. Bed comfortable. Liked that there was laundry room available for use. Gym. Close to a few walkable food options. Room included fridge, stove top, microwave, table and chairs. Overall an excellent place to stay on a car trip. This is not luxury but a wonderful option on the road trip. Staff were kind and helpful. Highly recommend for this form of travel.

Commercial area so walkable options are limited.

All was good.

Good location, staff was amazing! Accommodated us late notice, provided extra cot and playpen. Excellent service. Room was spacious! Fit two queen beds, a cot and a playpen comfortably.

Pillows were a little hard, but not terrible!

Breakfast was good. I wish it was open till 10 o’clock though. Other than that, everything else was good.

Breakfast until 10

Location - cleaners- access to major highway

Just a very short time

The room was a great price and great location in hotel for letting my little dog out. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The man at front desk was friendly

The room smelled really bad. It smelled like sweaty people and made if feel very dirty. I bought essential oils and used in the room. The room was not very clean. The walls in bathroom were really bad. The blow dryer was broken and I told front desk but seemed unconcerned. The breakfast had super dry muffins but some of the other stuff looked ok. Coffee was good

Staff was friendly and checked us in quick. Breakfast was good. Lots of choices and common area for breakfast was clean and well stocked

Beds were very hard and pillows were flat. Don’t know if it was because the bottom floors have not been redone or what. Stayed there two weeks early and the room on the second floor I had was night and day different than the one that we had last night

Noises

Make a good place to sleep

Nice and clean.

Some of guests (young teenagers) were loud and impolite

Breakfast was great Waffles were excellent No additional charge for our pet

It was easy to get to off the highway!

Everything was fine!

Sheets not made properly. Yellow pillows.

Location was good

Extremely uncomfortable bed and pillows

Horrible

The rooms were worn down and in need of repair.

Convenient location, clean and decent value

Not much, nice overall

Very clean and friendly atmosphere

Stayed at another Motel 6 the night before, and this one doesn't even compare. This one needs renovations and new mattresses.

Breakfasts

Hard Beds/ cold/ loud fans/ hear everything outside of room…

Good location, good value with no charge for pets.

The floors were dirty.and the room smelled funky. It seems like the floors were washed with the same water for the whole hotel. I went to Walmart, picked up cleaning supplies and washed and sanitized the floors and bathroom and had a great stay thereafter.

Good property

The room is fine, nice and cozy. I love the staff composure and excellent service.

Parking was safe and good condition. Room and parking area and inside were clean and and nice.

Everything was good

Everything was very very good. We have no complaintd.

This hotel needs to do some upgrades. The flooring in our room was peeling/lifting, there was a weird smell in the building.

Our check-in was quick and easy

Parking was great. Our room was very clean. Everything worked great! Will be back for sure !!!

Check in was very efficient... booked room from parking lot, walked in and checked in. Wham bam, thank you mam, all done in 5min 😀

Parking area was paved and it had very good lighting. Modern room with 2 queen beds was clean and the refridgerator worked well. Staff were attentive to guest needs. The bathtub mechanical stopper would not stop water from draining out of the tub. The bathroom light would flicker and go out completely.

Clean and tidy

N/a

Would be nice to see a coffee maker in the room

Tried to cancel reservation on app before cut off time and there was some error and I couldn’t process cancellation so I restarted my phone but then the app wouldn’t open so finally after talking to support they were going to give a refund but said it was up to the motel 6 to process it and they declined to do so stating that they were following Expedia policy so you guys just get to steal almost $300 from me, what a garbage system this is

Well lit parking lot

All is good.

Everything was very good about our stay. The only problem I had was that I wasn’t allowed to use 5G to access internet. I never used your internet as I don’t consider it as safe as 5G.

Our room smelled like sewer, it had silverfish crawling around the toilet. I got a refund and left. I could not bring myself to stay there.

The parking area is well lit and the room was clean and inviting

Wonderful staff

Clean room , good breakfast.

Thin walls and ceiling. Could hear the loud footsteps late at night.

Quiet place. Lots of parking. Handicapped parking beside main door. Food options within half a kilometer. Icy cold air conditioning.

Staff was friendly, good selection for breakfast. Our booking in the hotel database was not the same as Expedia reservation. We didn't get the kitchenette we reserved. I will have to check billing to see if i was overcharged.

The bed had a great mattress and the room was large. The staff was friendly and helpful

Staff at front desk was great. Halls dirty and smelly. Room clean but strong smell of marijuana. Shower hardly had enough pressure to rinse shampoo from hair. Door didn't lock properly. Had to walk past smokers every time we left the hotel.

Friendly staff with extra security to ensure a safe and peaceful stay.

Clean room, friendly staff, felt safe staying alone.

Good.

we reserved early and got room 101 with adjorning room which they were very loud . the hallway door get being opening and shutting with a big bangs.... Also we could hear the staff talking very loud not whispering.we went on expedia booking that was a mistake. cause we got the worst room.

Good location for a one night stop when passing through Ample parking, clean room. Breakfast had waffles but no hot protein options

There must be NO insulation at all between the ceiling and floors of the rooms above. We heard people walking ALL NIGHT LONG. Seriously, at 1, 2, even 4sm. TERRIBLE floor insulation. Do NOT STAY HERE if you actually want to sleep!!

Safe and affordable

Room walls were beat up. Towels were frayed and discoloured, and shower curtain had holes. 3 security guards were present in the lobby when we checked in. Front desk staff were very nice.

Great clean place, super modern. Staff was super courteous. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Great bed. A/C was a bit loud. Good lighting in the room. Quiet at night and (not sure if good or bad) but 24 h security. Nice area all around to walk your dog. Brandon city center is 10 minutes by car, worth to visit this pretty place, lots of good places to eat/drink.

Very clean, good breakfast, helpful staff.

Our television had no value.

Friendly, and very helpful staff.

I didn’t get one

Nothing.

They had bed bugs
