The friendly staff, the service in the restaurant, and everything about the cabin facing the fairway. The wonderful robes were a huge bonus as well as the comfy bed/pillows, gas fireplace and the super well stocked kitchen/beautiful wine & cocktail glasses.

The living room carpet in cabin #1107 is very badly soiled and needs to be replaced…please. It’s too bad the resort doesn’t have a few hot tubs…they would be really appreciated after a round of golf or anytime!

Das Zimmer war dunkel, weil die Sonne das Zimmer nicht erreichte. Das WC war defekt und obwohl wir es gemeldet haben, kam niemand zur versprochenen Zeit und wir mussten das WC beim Restaurant benutzen.

Good food and golf

Made reservations for golf 3 months in advance and was told that we may not get carts. But we did at the last minute. Also made dinner reservations for 8:15pm for 8 people. Got there and no reservations and the restaurant was full. They put us in a private room so all worked out.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was also very comfy despite 100 pillows. The staff were very helpful because the charge point was broken and they lent me a charger.

The Aircon unit in the room was very loud. And the USB charger port in the lamp was broken. A few more charge points would be good in the room.

Great location and access to golf courses. Helpful staff. Enjoyed Timber room especially the breakfast.

Noise levels from adjacent rooms was unacceptable, was difficult to sleep. The only solution was a move to another room, which thankfully the staff at Crown Isle was able to accommodate.

It was a nice property, the facilities were good. The bed was comfortable. The lovely staff member who drove us home after dinner in the golf cart gets a shout out for service!

There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room and when we asked for some they wanted us to come to the front desk for it (a 5 minute walk with my broken leg … nah). The floors are pretty thin and we could hear our upstairs neighbor walking around (sounded like stomping but it was really just echoing).

The friendly staff and how helpful everyone was. The property has golf, lodging and restaurant all together. The rooms are in buildings with about 8 suites per each. And our suite was huge with king and soaker tub. You could live here. The restaurant is amazing. We had appies and drinks then dinner and breaky the next morning. All perfect and exceeded our expectations.

We were put in a dog room so it smelled and the floors were sticky. Plus the bathroom fan was falling out of the roof. Disappointing for what we paid!

Location was close to all services in Courtenay. Cabin was on the Golf Course. Dining room was excellent. Fitness room was well located with plenty of equipment

The location is beautiful and quiet

The construction of the appt is on the cheap side so you can your neighbors upstairs walking and up and down. We choose a room with a jacuzzi and if the neighbors use it, it can get pretty loud.

Crown Isle is a beautiful golf destination in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. If you’re a golf fanatic the course is in amazing condition. We opted for one of the new Cottages for our stay. First the positive. The cottages are new and in great condition. The kitchen is well stocked if you plan to cook during your stay. Note there are two styles of cottages one with a kitchen and the other offering a limited kitchenette so book the right category of cabin for your needs. Now the negative…..1/2 of these cottages back onto a really busy arterial road. With the bedroom at the back of the cottage the morning and late evening traffic noise will be a distraction for light sleepers. So bring ear plugs or ask for a cottage on the 1st fairway.

We book a suite for the weekend to celebrate our 29e Anniversary. Our room was in the Aberdeen building suite #120. Very nice balcony views on the 1st tee. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable on the softer side. Great linen and towels. Appliances were older in working order including washer and dryer. They supplied kitchen ware, pots and pan. The reception staff especially Annica was very personable and receptive to our needs. After learning that we were celebrating our Anniversary she offered us a lovely bottle of red wine. We didn't visit the restaurant. However I had a massage with Lisa. My massage was exceptional. She has created a little oasis in her spa. I highly recommend her services. If I had more time I would have try her mud or seaweed treatments. There were a few maintenance issues. The LR TV screen had some white circles on the screen. The kitchen tap was extremely loose. We had to hold the base to turn the tap on. They had a standing fan in the closet but it did not work. The suite is nice and comfortable. We had stayed here several years ago and way back in 2004. The décor is the exact same. Overall we has a lovely stay!

What a beautiful golf resort! Ive never seen such lovely landscaping.. Our cottage had everything we needed. It was nestled in the woods close to the first fairway. The staff are very professional, and the restaurants are top-notch. The whole experience was an A+ for us. We will definitely visit Crown Isle again!

1st day of 5 day stay. Check-in experience was wonderful. Rooms nice, clean and had everything I required. Went to the on-site restaurant for dinner. Sat at 7:15, appetizer shows up at 8:10 and wine from bar showed up at 8:30. Main course came at 9:15. 2 hours from sit time to have A steak that was about grocery store quality. As requested at check-in, I raised an issue by texting the front desk. They were apologetic and after a back and forth, they promised my complaint was escalated to a manger and they would contact me next day to “make things right”. Never heard a thing. I continued my stay and did play a round of golf that was booked already. However, I did not stay on the resort any more the necessary and did not spend any more discretionary dollars during my stay. Sad thing is I had planned on spending most of my days, meals and golf time at Crown Isle. Probably won’t be back. As for the experience - stuff happens at times but the lack of follow up is completely unacceptable.

our group of 36 were incredibly impressed with the hotel, food and beverage and golf experiences. What a fantastic facility

Terrific ambiance - walked in, room glamorous. #660, 2nd floor overlooking hole #1 - fabulous view. Sadly room has issues that have not been addressed, and issues with cleanliness. ISSUES SUMMARIZED: but please note, this is just one room, no idea about the others. They gave us a whole $15 off (resort fee) for this disappointment. -Glasses smeary and one very Dirty cup so wanted to wash what would use them with confidence, but no dish soap for sink or for dishwasher. Fine if eating out all the time unless want a coffee in the morning ... if like sugar in your coffee get more when checking in, liberal with amount of coffee they provide. -Last day found paper towel hidden in bottom cupboard behind garbage can! -Jacuzzi VERY slippery .. needs an anti-skid application. Found a matt in bathroom after almost falling a couple of times (not needed for the shower as surface designed for anti-skid). Could not close blind fully above the jacuzzi so not impressed with that. -SHOWER CAUTION: Shower scary as taps barely move and you have either very cold water or very hot so can be scalded. Once finally set to temperature wanted then a beautiful shower head for what pulse you want. -Bathroom Cold water tap apart, had to fix - minor issue but inconvenient. -The floor under bathroom sink was very disgustingly filthy. -NO air conditioning in bedroom, fan only. -Air conditioning in front room was very noisy, hard to talk over. Have to leave it on all night otherwise bedroom becomes unbearable from the heat and stuffiness. Do not know how anyone could enjoy the noise. Needs replacing. -Kitchen fan was extremely noisy, needs to be replaced. -ALL USB ports on the lamps are non functional, need replacing. Word of caution if travelling with anyone with mobility issues to ensure you are getting a room on the ground floor as no stairs. If living on the golf course and the above is of no concern, then you will enjoy.

I arrived completely and utterly exhausted from a 8 hour drive from Victoria, which should have taken less then 4 hours but due to accidents...it was a horrible day spent waiting/driving etc. I arrived practically in tears. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were amazing. The room was incredible spacious and lovely. Please contact me if you ever want a testimonial. Wonderful resort. Our room was exceptional, very large with a nice hot tub and very clean. If you golf, the 1st hole is right outside your balcony with comfy furniture and there is also a driving range. Very comfortable bed and large bathroom. The bedroom could use darkening curtains as well as the blinds. The frying pan was finished and disgusting. Lastly and new Roku system they have doesn't work well at all. Two nights in a row it would not connect properly and we were unable to watch.

Top notch accommodations and service. We stay here each year on the way in and out of a summer fishing trip to Port Eliza - can’t say enough about quality of accommodations and the level of service by their desk and restaurant staff. Will return again, and again.

Large spacious room, we were in the villa #206 Balmoral, great amenities like a jetted tub, 2 tvs, 2 fireplaces, heated bathroom floors. Also had a king bed, full kitchen with dishwasher, separate dining area, a queen sofa bed as well as a large balcony. Total space more than 870 square feet !!! WOW WOW WOW. Great views of the golf course, close to shopping etc. Probably the best place that we have ever stayed in, and we do a lot of travelling!!!

It was a beautiful room, with a great view of the golf course and wildlife. We saw a bunny and a deer. I loved having real plates and cutlery as we ordered dinner in. The room was super clean 👌 the beds were a big squishy for my liking but I still slept

Most favourite spot on the island for golf and great first class service. The restaurant has very good food and reasonable pricing. The newly renovated room we had was bright and comfortable. Nicely furnished deck to set and relax. Proshop staff very friendly and helpful from check-in to the 18th hole . 5 STARS !! Cheers to all.

This stay was exceptional. These cottages are new, super clean, spacious, and so peaceful. Book the ones with the view of the golf course. You won't regret it.

Excellent room. Some minor quibbles: there as only one bed light so only one person can read unless the full light is on. There is only one arm chair.

Appalling internet. Worse still, the front desk seemed totally uninterested in fixing the problem. If you need to connect with friends or business associates - forget it!

We stayed in the (seemingly new) tiny house cabins that they have installed along the 1st green. The good: Very clean and functional. Full kitchen, etc. The back covered porch faces the green and makes for entertaining people watching as the golfers hunt for their lost balls. Even got to witness one young kid pulling a "Trump drop" as he kicked his ball (twice!) in the rough to get it closer to the manicured part, before then yelling that he'd found it. The bad: The cabins are very close (less than 100 feet) to Ryan road, which is the main route in and out of Courtenay to the east. It is very noisy, and the inbound traffic started at 4:30 am. I had to resort to the "ocean" white noise generator on my phone to mask the sounds so that I could sleep. In addition to this, none of the thermostat controls seemed to work, and the mini split always seemed to blow cool air despite the setting. The bathroom door was already out of plane enough that it's difficult to latch. Recommended improvements: 1) Install a sound barrier wall next to Ryan road 2) Install some level two EV chargers at least up near the clubhouse 3) better: install a 220V NEMA 14-50 outlet on the exterior of each cabin so that cars can be charged overnight while parked.

From the moment I walked into our Glasgow Villa at Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community, our first impression was simply wow. The suite was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and massive. It featured a full living room, kitchen, walk-through bathroom, and a spacious king bedroom that felt incredibly luxurious. The bed was heavenly and made for one of the best sleeps I’ve had while travelling. The setting is also stunning. Being surrounded by trees and the golf course made the entire stay feel peaceful and relaxing. The villas are a bit of a trek from the main building, but the resort makes it easy to grab a ride on a golf cart if needed. The restaurant was another highlight. The food was amazing and the service was incredible from start to finish. Our event ended around 8pm, and the staff graciously stayed late to accommodate a full dinner service for a table of 30 without making us feel rushed at all. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this resort. Every part of the experience exceeded expectations and I’ll absolutely be back.

Quiet and clean

We had dinner in the dinning room and the dishes were all very good.

The breakfast. We had breakfast in the Atrium. The service was a bit slow but managable. The breakfast was not good - iverything was over cooked and mostly cold. Won't eat breakfast there again.

The king size bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the shower the pressure was the best. The front desk persons were extremely nice and helpful. They booked a cab to pick me up from the Freey in Comox and bring me to them and the booked a taxi to the airport for the next day, including a voucher so I didnt have to pay. Soo impressed.

The room was dated you could tell the age and the bathtub was too high I banged my foot getting into the shower. The dont offer room service you have to walk to the restarant to order takeout. Although they offer a complimentary breakfast I did not get to partake, my flight was at 5 am. The complimentary coffee was OK but no mik or cream in the mini fridge only powdered coffee mate.

We love coming here once in a while to relax, enjoy the great soaking tub, which has enough space for two adults and a baby. I like that they added a bath bomb that can be safely used in a tub. Cleanliness is on the spot. Wonderful relaxing mornings on the balcony, watching golfers!

At Crown Isle has everything you need for a relaxing and stress free stay. Great location for day trips to surrounding cities, towns and attractions. The golf course is in pristine condition and is only steps away. Already booked for a return visit.

We had the pleasure of spending two days here, and it was nothing short of exceptional. My partner ❤️Lindsay❤️ and I were truly blown away by the entire experience. The Timber Room is a standout—every dish we had was absolutely exquisite. The quality, presentation, and atmosphere made each meal feel like an experience in itself. The golf course is breathtaking, beautifully designed and set within a thoughtfully built community that surrounds the resort. You can really feel how everything has been intentionally created to deliver both luxury and comfort. Our room was beautiful—clean, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day on the course. Went for a golf, dine, and overnighter for my birthday. The resort was beyond our expectations. Very well taken care of! We stayed in a 1 bedroom King suite , it was huge. Lovely forest setting off the back patio. Course was great, challenging. Restaurant was excellent. Check out the coffee machine near reception, it makes incredible things! Costco/grocery just outside the property so if you wanted to do a longer stay and load up the fridge, you easily could. Overall great value. Would definitely go back!

We visited the restaurant on site twice… excellent service at both meals. Very good food, and very convenient. The location is great, and the scenery is outstanding!

Worst customer service ever , no response at all , I requested a minor thing from them , they confirmed that have it …. But never delivered despite calling them 4 times !!!!!!!

From the reception at the front desk when I arrived, to the upgrade to a gorgeous cottage, and the excellent fare at the restaurant, I couldn't have asked for a better way to decompress. Everything was well appointed and the surroundings were peaceful and made settling in so easy.

Our room was really hot and stuffy! We turned down all the heat and opened the windows! But…that was a minor inconvenience.
