Hampton by Hilton Sheffield

Lovely room, everything was cleaned, high standard and comfortable

Paid parking that belongs to the hotel - £16 was a rip off, especially that the stay wasn't cheap. Breakfast was a huge disappointment, lack of fresh eggs at the kitchen only powdered eggs mixed with milk, so if you have dairy intolerance there are no eggs for you as kitchen doesn't provide fresh eggs. Asked for a GF bread, two slices each (me and my partner) but got only two all together... staff at the restaurant wasn't helpful as we asked one lady about eggs and she has sent as back to her manager (and we didn't know who the person is), she only said that she doesn't know about the fresh eggs and walked away... overpriced stay, if you have dairy intolerance don't bother to have a breakfast there

Comfortable beds, quiet Aircon, good location, parking garage.

Très bon emplacement pour découvrir Sheffield ! Personnel à l écoute Parking à proximité

After placing the booking (just after midnight), the reception staff told me that they had no rooms available and that I should not have been able to make the booking through Booking.com in the first place. After around 40 minutes, the reception staff finally found me a room. However, by that point, I had already booked alternative accommodation elsewhere. Despite this, the reception staff refused to process a refund, even though the refund was requested only around 40 minutes after the original booking was made. Extremely poor service.

Breakfast, sausages were like rubber very tough to cut and tasted like rubber

The place was in a good location, it was clean and had the air of a.more.expensive hotel than it was. The staff were the best but, helpful, friendly and professional

-

Great parking just at side aswell as very friendly staff as soon as you arrive, very comfortable bed and warm peaceful feel lovely breakfast and very clean facilities.

There's nothing I can moan about here atall really good experience overall.

Great value breakfast

The room, gym and breakfast

Na

Staff were friendly and helpful

Brilliant

Adequate choice of foods. Efficient staff clearing tables etc and refilling dishes.

Everything was good.

Breakfast ok but choice slightly less than usual

Nothing

Value for money . clean ,great room great food, good parking ,hotel in good spot.friendly helpful staff, perfect spot on.

Nothing at all

It was central to where we needed to be

The bed wasn’t the comfiest and bed was squeaky also a very small supply of tea and coffee and had to move the kettle to the nearest plug

The hotel was modern, clean and in a great location.

That the car parking is run by an external company. It adds to the complication of paying and ensuring that your details are correct in the system.

The friendliness of all the staff couldn’t do enough for me

Not a bad word to say

Not really

Great staff, friendly and helpful

The rain outside lol, but even then they had umbrellas to use

.

.

Central, comfortable and clean

Lack of tables at breakfast

Pretty good breakfast. Surprised we weren't asked for our room numbers.

1st night - very good. 2nd night - noisey hotel guests next door - went on until 2am. Twice i picked up phone to speak to receptionist but didnt call as noises settled and but then restarted. Noise travelled through interconnecting doors

Close to town centre

Could hear everything, such as footsteps from upstairs and on corridor

Great location. Super comfy beds /pillows. Ace breakfast 💪👍

The friendly staff

The cold cooked breakfast

Hotel was great, comfy bed, excellent staff and decent breakfast. I would recommend.

Breakfast fab

Tge breakfast was very nice, a good selection.

Very limited parking

Staff were friendly and helpful

Spacious room on top floor. Quiet. Excellent breakfast.

Staff were amazing. Very polite, knowledgable and friendly. Room was clean an welcoming. Breakfast had a great choice and staff kept everything topped up and tables clean as soon as a guest finished. Location was fine. Easy to find and 10 minutes from where I was working.

TV channels were limited. If I had a longer stay or in the room longer, I would have struggled to find anything interesting to watch.

The bathroom door couldn’t close or lock and it was a very bad experience for my family. Hard to use the loo, hard to use the shower

The bathroom door couldn’t close or lock and it was a very bad experience for my family. Hard to use the loo, hard to use the shower. I reported to reception and the lady came to check and said she wasn’t able to fix and we will have to wait till Monday. We were checking out on Sunday and were there for 2 nights from Friday. This is not a cheap hotel.

Friendly staff, good location.

Broken bathroom door. Staff did try to help, but it still didn't shut fully.

Location price staff

The coffee but just being v picky

It was well clean and in the right location.

Nothing as everything was very good including the staff.

Fab for a 3 star! Breakfast great! ALL staff lovely and polite-well done to each and everyone of them for being very welcoming from start to finish!

Location is close to center but some of the surrounding streets appeared a little unsafe.

Staff at reception , free upgraded room and giant breakfast - I thought it was all great

Nothing really - great value for the money I paid I d say

I really enjoyed the stay and breakfast!

Nothing, everything is perfect

Excellent with friendly staff

Friendly staff

Everything

The rooms were exceptional, and i like the design of the bathrooms and the colour scheme. Listen, i love everything about the room. Did i mention the shower gel and lotion? Wow, they made my skin feel so soft. Oh, did i say i love the room?!

THE PARKING! Way too expensive, i was caught off guard.

Buona posizione per visitare il centro città.

Il parcheggio non compreso in una zona dove bisogna per forza pagare ma l'unico modo per andarci è l'auto. So che capita spesso nel Regno Unito ma francamente è assurdo

Good location, clean rooms, very friendly helpful staff

The toilet door in room 405 did not lock or stay closed which was embarrassing when going to toilet The scrambled eggs at breakfast were very powdery and there was no other option!

Close to amenities

Bedroom a little small for a family room. Not enough towels left for the family and bathroom door lock didn’t lock

Welcoming and obliging staff. Comfortable and very clean.

Daytime and evening food options limited.

Well located, friendly staff, excellent breakfast

Location

No mini fridge in room and chair

Room spacious and very clean. Liked security catch on door.

Clean and modern

Nothing

Great customer service from all reception and hotel staff. An excellent that was spotlessly clean, a great bar and first class breakfast.

Frühstück war gut, nicht nur englisch breakfast

Das Zimmer etwas klein

Friendly staff and very easy to check in and out

Check-in was quick and I was able to get in the room early. The staff were helpful, the room itself was clean and spacious enough, the bed was comfortable and the temperature was comfortably cool. Buffet-style breakfast was included in the price, which was definitely value for money there! The selection of items was quite extensive.

I've certainly stayed in worse places for more money. There is little for me to complain. Maybe a small pet peeve that my room didn't have a fridge.

Perfect place for gity centre 👌

Nothing

On our arrival we were greeted by Eden on reception who was excellent. She booked our vehicle details as we had arrived early and stated our room would be ready at 1pm which it was. Eden gave us all the useful hotel details - and advised we were only a 10 minute walk to the city centre and all it had to offer. Our room was fabulous, spotlessly clean, plenty of towels, teas and coffees and the bonus of a room safe. Plenty of hanging space, ironing board and iron and great selection of toiletries. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, Lily and Jack on reception who also doubled up at the bar were friendly with great service. Breakfast is fabulous, terrific choice of cooked, cereals, toast and fruit etc etc a great start to the day. This hotel is just excellent, but most importantly the staff provide great friendly service from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.

The location was good Parking available on site Staff excellent Breakfast excellent choice

The staff were lovely. The bathroom facilities were nice.

The parking on site was more expensive than across the road in the Q car park.

The bathroom

The room is small

Everything was brilliant - spotlessly clean

Excellent location

Good location fairly near to the station, city centre and Kelham Island (which is good for food and drink options). Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast included.

The quality of many of the breakfast items wasn't amazing, but about what you'd expect for the price. Though oddly good croissants! The bed was an odd mix of hard mattress and soft pillows but I guess that's personal preference. Also down pillows which I'm allergic to and had to change, but again that's on me for not thinking to notify the hotel in advance (as most pillows are now polyester/hypoallergenic). Hot water is limited if you're showering at the same time as lots of other guests. It didn't run out, but didn't get that warm either.

Clean room every day. Helpful and pleasant staff. Air con. Breakfast.

Tv stations available were pitiful.

Great room and breakfast. Great location.

nothing of note

Central location and price

Nothing

Sausages for breakfast were tasteless.

Clean comfy rooms

Noise from guest stomping about at 2am til 4am

The staff were so helpful and so welcoming always happy to help! The rooms were clean and airy really spacious, great bar downstairs, and a great selection for breakfast, and dinner menu!

The one thing I was disappointed in was that there was no way to watch Netflix on the television but that's just personal preference I think.

Spacious room. Good location. We get what we expected.

Bed was quite hard. Some of the staff at breakfast were a little rude compared to reception staff who were excellent

Staff were friendly, helpful, had good knowledge of local area.

La colazione molto buona

I letti non molto comodi

Property was nice and clean

No exhaust in toilet and proper lock

Room was clean, comfortable and everything worked well. Staff were really friendly and the breakfasts were high standard

Parking charge seemed a bit steep

Welcoming staff, good breakfast and comfortable room.

It would have been nice to have free parking

Lovely staff and good location.

The sofa bed was bent, while the mattress is thin hardly sleep at night. The breakfast is below standard don't even have fried egg and ham.

Booked here to stay on one of the hottest days in August as it had air conditioned rooms!!! Arrived about 4.30pm and as soon as we entered the hotel we knew we were going to enjoy staying here.. Staff were lovely our room was soooo cold and very comfy and had everything we needed.. A super walk in shower and comfy beds tho a little squeaky!!! Breakfast was delicious.. pastries croissants fruit etc and a cooked breakfast.. all very fresh and tasty.. Such a great place to stay with car parking as well…😊

Such a friendly hotel! I arrived on my own for a three-day course in Sheffield and was greeted by a lovely lady on the front desk called Vidhursha. She was very interested in my course and so helpful and smiley! The room was great - really efficient air-con (!) comfy bed, very clean room and great shower. There was also easy car parking under hotel, breakfast was delicious and I was generally really impressed. Every time I came back into hotel at the end of the day, staff always smiled and greeted me which made me feel really welcome and Vidhursha asked me this morning at breakfast how my course was going. I was really impressed by the whole stay particularly the friendly customer service. Thank you for a lovely stay. You made my trip away from home a very pleasant one. Highly recommend this hotel!

Nothing

Room was nice and clean, shower didn’t change temp unexpectedly, like in many other hotels. And the bed was very comfy.

Room was clean enough and comfortable

Front staff were rude and unhelpful. They made us feel really unwelcome and uncomfortable.

Great location, easy parking. Absolutely incredible staff, especially jack on reception, he went above and beyond during my visit

Friendly greeting on booking in by your staff.

I don't know what the breakfast was like as I had to check out earlier than expected due to a family emergency. My girlfriend said that the food for the breakfast wasn't cooked long enough so if that can be passed back as feedback to double check the length of cooking time required if possible to ensure that your breakfast is absolutely perfect for when I stay here again myself properly.

excellent breakfast, very clean room , very friendly staff

Great breakfast Friendly staff

My husband and I were given a disabled room and as we are both fit and healthy 70 year olds were not sure why this happened. Aa we were only staying for one night it did not cause any inconvenience.

Clean rooms, brilliant breakfast

Paid and very small car park .

Great location access to all of Sheffield from here

Great place to stay ,with friendly staff and all you’re looking for in a hotel

Comfy bed Great bathroom Comprehensive breakfast Friendly staff Spotlessly clean

The room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was good, too.

The only drawback was that it was a little far from the city centre.

It was clean and modern

The food offerings left a lot to be desired

Breakfeast was grate with lots of choices. Very tasty. Coffee was amazing.

Maybe internet could be faster and maybe possibility of netflix on TV.

Staff were excellent. Very nice lady at breakfast.

Liked being able to park on site although £15 was a bit steep.

3pm check in was a bit limiting. I was part of a college reunion group and arrived mid day and although was allowed to park we all had to come back at 3pm to check in. As we were all 70 years old going out to start our stay, having had a few drinks, some lunch and then needing to return to the hotel and then make our way out again UP HILL took the edge off the day a little.

The room was comfortable and clean. All the staff were really lovely and helpful, but Alice in particular made my stay excellent. She was so polite and helpful, and when I found my television wasn’t working she replaced it super fast. I couldn’t have asked for better service.

Her şey mükemmeldi.

Very comfortable. The room was a cut above average for this kind of hotel. The bed was particularly comfortable

Tables in the restaurant were very basic

The friendliness of all the staff we had interaction with. Cleanliness was excellent. Delicious breakfast, communication from Jack, checking we were happy with our room etc. Excellent value for the price we paid.

Not easy to find on foot from train station, and a little further out than expected. Otherwise no complaints.

Fabulous rooms

Nothing

The staff were lovely, spacious rooms probably request shower mat as it was quite slippy but other than that perfect

The holding bond - it says £30 deposit on website and was charged £90 says it is refunded on the day you leave im still waiting for this.
