Truly one of the most accommodating environments I’ve ever experienced. The staff couldn't be more welcoming and would assist in everything to make my stay as relaxing as possible.

Way too many children. The breakfast buffet was madness - like an elementary school cafeteria. We stayed overlooking the lagoon and it was noisy with screaming kids at 9pm.

Size of room excellent. Nice food options. Staff lovely. The 24hr lagoon pools are by far the very best feature.

Its amazing

Resort was very clean all restaurants we used were spotless and food was lovely. Staff were amazing greeting you by name, service was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only 2 very minor issues. The air conditioning in the room is very loud but works well, take ear plugs. Room service, cleaning, towels or replacements every time they knocked one of us were in the shower or getting dressed ready for the evening meal so had to keep declining. We were only there 2 nights so not really a problem. The resort is beautiful and our swim up room was amazing. Take beach shoes as the sand is sharp. I will return on my next visit to Dubai.

Not as expected. The spa experience was so bad and nothing done from them

This property was above and far beyond anything I could have expected. The staff was amazing and so welcoming and accommodating. The resort has everything you could ever need. There really is no need to leave. The lagoon is open 24/7 which we loved. Room service is available 24/7. There is valet parking and the staff is always available to drive you to and from your room in the little golf cars. The food is amazing and the breakfast buffet is phenomenal with everything you could ever think of as an option. I really can’t say enough about this resort. My husband and I went for our honeymoon and we want to come back with our family. I can’t find one thing to complain about. Our time here was amazing!

The outside areas were lovely but the rooms were basic and bland. Underwhelming. Staff were great. A bit disappointing compared to other hotels we've stayed in on the palm.

It was way below the expectations. Right from the start we were directed to different gate for checkin.. main lobby didn’t receive us. We had to wait almost 1 hour to get into the room. After we reached at standard Time 12noon. Whenever we asked for water they always provided late and less than asked. After hanging clean my room for more than 4 hours as well they didn’t clean the room. I won’t recommend this hotel neither will return. It was really like a deluxe hotel and service was very dreadful. Spa was very limited with such huge space for spa nothing much to offer.

When i have got to the hotel the room was not like in the pictures... We asked for a different room but they they do not have room for all the stay ... The big problem start later when i askd for my money back the hotel said to ask from the agency hotel.com that said that the hotel doesn't want to refund the money because it was not refundable... I tried to speak lot's of time with hotel.com but the answers was sound like a bot is answering me. I feel very bad with that experience

The property would be top notch if it was new. We do find it a little bit tired, however still clean and service is great. Nice beach and pool. Good food at Mekong, not cheap but really good food. At the weekends we struggle to find seats at the pool and beach area it was very busy.

The spa in Anantara is wonderful with great service and environment. Staff are all very friendly, thanks to Ibraham the receptionist who offered a room for us as early as 7am! Everyone is very friendly and helpful! Our stay is so amazing with their help!!

Everything about this hotel was just perfect from start to finish. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was exceptional. The service was another level and the Security and Care was just amazing.

It was calm and restful

This is such a wonderful place to visit. Overall stay was exceptional. They are all very welcoming. We went as family and they provided everything we had asked as we had a baby. They attended to our needs quickly. This place made a turn around for our Dubai experience. Great place for vacation to relax and enjoy the view. One of the best resorts. Friendly staff to luxury and well kept room and room service. One of a kind lagoon. We would love to thank them for making our stay very comfortable. Looking forward to another visit in future.

An amazing stay at Anantara celebrating my 30th birthday! So welcoming and attentive with birthday cake and decoration! The overall resort is unreal and we couldn’t fault a thing.

The resort is very nice, and the staff is very kind and helpful, both in the restaurants and common areas. I would like to address a special thank you and appreciation to Iana, the front desk manager, who was very cooperative and helpful, and thanks to her we had a very pleasant stay.

We had to get frustrated to receive our room. People came after us and received their room 1 hour before us. At 2.55 I checked with the lady sitting at the check in she said we need to wait maybe till after 3. Thats the only thing i didn’t like.

Good place for stay

Excellent property with good food selections and easy access to other Palm resorts. Staff tend to be a little too enthusiastic on occasions but that’s better than the alternative. Excellent General Manager 😁

Beat experience i had in many years.

Lovely hotel to stay in with family, only draw back is being out at the edge of the Palm it’s a good taxie ride to leave the Palm.

This resort was clean & the staff cleaned our room so thoroughly. Every member of staff who took care of us in room , at breakfast or at the Mekong Restaurant were attentive & extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend this resort for cleanliness & service .

I tried 2 different rooms and i am happy i did. If you look for ok room with reasonable budget then residence is good. Not fancy but has all amenities of five star hotel, house keeping was good. If you look for luxurious experience and the unique logoon experience then go for lagoon room direct access, otherwise try both like i did. Lagoon room was very nice, size, design & , feeling of real vacation. The amenities were super. Room service was good & tasty. Now the customer service can be improved. It took me few calls and long waiting to get simple things done like delivering luggage and so. The Spa was super nice, very nice therapists (Thi & Indian ladies both were so good) the facilities good, steam was under maintenance. Rest were good, i recommend Turkish hamam experience. The Saloon has good fast service. The restaurants were good but the highlight of my trip was the Asian restaurant, i visited it twice and i will do again when ever i visit Dubai, it is that good. Food is super! Service was amazing, ambience and live music adds alot to the experience. I would highly recommend the Pomelo salad (was recommended by the waiter) sticky mango rice (it was perfect)! Thanks for all specially Tommy & Baifern ! Also the vegan burger at Australian restaurant was a surprise! It was one of the best i had!

Very gorgeous villa

Our room was not ready at check-in, however after some discussion they gave us a family room instead, which was really good and our son enjoyed having his own room and tent. After the initial hiccup they really made up for it and we had a great time

Really great facilities and the breakfast buffet is excellent. However, rooms are outdated and lack some tech perks or anything of that sort. I have booked the rooms that have direct access to the lagoons and there were very noisy neighbors. No welcome drinks , no welcome basket ( not that it important but at least small touches makes some difference) . I would come back the hotel because of the excellent facilities including dining options.

Never mentioned any benefit that I should receive on vip access . I went a night before booking to check the hotel and see the facilities they never mentioned the beach is closed for maintenance . I reserved a resort and pay a lot to enjoy the tan on the beach other wise I could’ve reserve a hotel with way much cheaper and save the high rate that I paid for this hotel .

The room was amazing, we booked the over water 1 bedroom villa. It wasn't private as people were in the sea looking in right outside our balcony room and when we looked outside the bath window so wasn't very private! The service was amazing and BoBo made us feel so welcome and took great care of us during our stay. The view of the fishes in the floor window was amazing, but the storm on our second night was a bit scary watching the sea splash up under the villa through that window. Everything was totally amazing except the food was very expensive. Service and cleanliness was impeccible.

The staff was incredible in all facets. We HIGHLY recommend staying in the lagoon access rooms. We loved taking advantage of walking off our balcony into the lagoon whether it was early morning, late night, or at any point during the day. Was a very relaxing way to spend our time. We had dinner at Bushman's and it was fantastic. Cocktails at Bushman's were great as well. Our daily breakfast at the buffet was good as well. Overall beautiful resort with great amenities. We'll definitely be back and will stay in a lagoon access room again.

The layout of the property, is cozy, nice and walkable. Probably adding disposable water bottle might be a better option that a reusable - glass bottle water.

The property was well managed from the check-in to check-out. The entire establishment was clean and well maintained both in the room and on the grounds. Everyone was kind and attentive to our needs. We would specifically like to mention Ms. Merina at check-in and throughout our stay. She was of great assistance and maintained an infectious smile when greeting us.

Decent property but be sure to mention you’re a VIP Expedia member if you are.

We booked a villa at the resort to take a long-awaited break and a mini baby moon. Wouldn't recommend the villa stays - very expensive considering the state of the outside (covered in bird faeces, pool needs a daily clean to ensure that all the foliage, berries, bird droppings etc. are cleared out). The inside of the villa is spacious, comfy and elegant. The service during the stay was great but it was all ultimately ruined when the hotel failed to return our deposit for incidentals. They had no issue processing all of our payments but when it came to returning our money, I am still chasing Anantara a week later. The first excuse was that their network was not working and that the money would be returned by the end of the evening and that their staff would update us in a few hours. We heard nothing and had to chase them. We have had to chase Anantara several times as their staff don't both to update, offered no decent explanation for why our money can be taken but not returned and don't seem that bothered. What started off as a relaxing break has become an utter pain and we won't be recommending a stay here to anyone. There are plenty of luxury hotels in Dubai with wonderful sea views and great service that nobody needs to waste quality time with these issues.

It was nice trip

Everything was ok Tayyab from the reception need to be a bit polite we ask him to print the PCR test and he made us STAND for 10 minutes when we asked he said MEM IT TAKES TIME he needs to have 5 star hotel politeness or kindness

Overall the stay was good. Lagoon rooms are very nice and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is good. Service is good. Cleanliness of the lagoon should be improved, and the blue night light installed at the lagoon is a problem that we faced as one of the guests has epilepsy and this light triggers epilepsy so were not able to swim at the lagoon or even sit by it during the evening although we had a direct lagoon access room. The lagoon night light should be changed to normal pool white light to make it friendly to people with neural illness.

I had a great time. I can't wait to be back. The breakfast was terrific. Jaime at the front desk gave me great tips to enjoy the facilities at it's best!

The residence were designed plain and did not feel the luxury. However the villas were amazing and i suggest to book villas at the lagoon . Breakfast was in two different resturant and was not impressive at all.

Disappointing. Took a signature spa. Therapy was overall average. Post the therapy we were asked to promptly vacate as they had a couple waiting. We should have been rushed post the spa. Post this we were moved to a relaxing room but we could hardly relax as staff kept moving up and down. Went to the steam room. No attendant. The shower was not working so had to walk up to the spa reception to seek help. They sent the engineers to fix. Preventive Maintenance should have been in place. The whole experience was ruined. Post narrating the experience I received a 50% waiver. I feel it should have been a 100% waiver . As a compensation / service recovery I was offered 50% off on the full price if we went for a spa again. It was a joke as they were anyways running a promotional offer for everyone. I chose not to visit the spa again. The previous night we had a challenge with the room air conditioning. The engineers came around mid night. Had a disturbed sleep. They offered us a late checkout. We however left post lunch. When we went to the beach houses ( coffee shop) the view when we looked outside was that of the back side of an air cooler. Not a pretty sight. Would have expected the management to pay need to the aesthetics. Similar observations at other public areas. On day 3, we observed the housekeeping was not done. As per the hotel the house keeping staff spent 30 minutes in the room whilst we were away. I recall that the bed was not done.

If you want a real treat, then get the Premier Lagoon Access room. You have direct and semi-private access to the 24-hour swimming pool (lagoon). You will see your neighbors a bit, but the experience is wonderful. Your own patio with steps into the pool, and a platform in front of your patio where you can sit and enjoy a beverage. The room service takes a bit, but they now give you delivery times which helps with the wait. The food is good for in-room dining, and they don't gouge like some hotels. The mini-bar fridge is VERY small so don't count on it for refrigeration. The lavatory is huge and has an optional wall that opens to the room and view of the lagoon. The rooms are dark wood and smell of kafir leaves. There is ample closet space, a nice coffee maker, glassware, and a wine opener/bottle opener. The television provides multiple services and information. The bed is very comfortable, and the blackout curtains are a must for those who sleep late. The staff is very helpful and they seem to have been trained to chat with every guest. The only drawback is they have taken to bluntly asking for good reviews (as this disturbing trend continues a la Black Mirror). We have stayed here a couple of times. The Bushman is good to great food and chill (not a DJ) live entertainment. The Beach House is good food with a great view and shisha. I highly recommend this experience, and will definitely do it again.

Very pretty hotel. It's definitely a calm, quiet resort. There are a lot of older people and families- not really a spot for young couples, but it is gorgeous nonetheless.

Great spa and the Bushmans restaurant is delicious. The buffet breakfast was also great however service was a little bit slow. Would also like to see pork products at the breakfast buffet. Stayed in Lagoon access villa which was lovely. Waited nearly 30mins for ice but got it eventually.

Our stay was excellent. Once there you don't think you are in Dubai. Typical Asian design and planning as I anticipated. Unfortunate that Bushmen's was closed but The Beach house was excellent with food and service. Predesh? gave excellent serviced to us and made us enjoy it more. Afternoon tea is also great at the Lotus lounge. I recommend this.

The first stay under “covid conditions” and it’s clear the hotel struggled with staffing at times. Plus points were the Mekong restaurant very nice meal and very good service

First as a gold i have an upgrade they said you don’t have and you have to pay for upgrade, second i have as gold 200 AED spa, they said you dont have, you have to pay full amount

Overall stay-experience was awesome, indeed two thumbs up with a smile on your face! — staff were very friendly and accommodating from checkin to checkout — kids enjoyed a lot and would want to definitely come back for another stay! Worth the wait of reopening the pool! Lagoon Access experience was excellent!

Modern hotel with amazing lagoon view

Really poor experience. We understand the complications with COVID 19 but in reality the hotel is not functioning at a standard that should be open to the public. No towels, no pool we really paid a lot of money for nothing. We actually paid to sit on the beach which we could of done at the public beach for free.

The hotel is amazing, we booked the delux room with lagoon access but unfortunately there was it windy and little rain and the lagoon was not warm for a swim so it was a waste , we should have booked a normal room instead. Breakfast buffet had lots of variety but quality not so much

The help of the staff was amazing. There is no any solution or request what they could not manage. The area of the resort is one of the best place to have some nice rest.
