The room and the bathroom were very spacious. We really liked the location and the staff were great, especially Violet. The breakfast was also delicious.

Wir waren als Familie mit drei Personen und Hund für vier Nächte im Badgemore Park. Das B&B liegt direkt auf dem Gelände eines Golfclubs und hat insgesamt acht Zimmer. Gefrühstückt wird im Clubhaus, was eine schöne Atmosphäre bietet. Zimmer: Unser Familienzimmer war richtig groß, sehr sauber und mit einem großzügigen Bad (Duschwanne + Regendusche). Das Sofa im Zimmer war perfekt zum Ausruhen. Einziger kleiner Klassiker: Haken fehlen – wie überall auf der Welt. Jacken und Handtücher wissen nie, wohin sie sollen. Frühstück & Clubhaus: Die Frühstücksauswahl war gut, und das Personal war super freundlich. Auf die Sonderwünsche unseres „Thronfolgers“ wurde ohne Zögern eingegangen. Das Clubhaus mit Bar und Terrasse ist gemütlich und lädt zum Sitzenbleiben ein. Lage & Umgebung: Der Golfplatz und der öffentliche Fußweg sind ideal für Spaziergänge mit dem Hund. Henley‑on‑Thames ist ein schönes Städtchen mit vielen Restaurants und ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, z. B. nach Windsor oder Oxford. Hinweis: Da der Golfplatz morgens vorbereitet wird, waren ab ca. 6 Uhr schon Laubbläser und Rasenmäher unterwegs. Nicht dramatisch, aber definitiv hörbar. Wohlfühlfaktor: Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt – viel Platz, freundliche Menschen, schöne Umgebung.

Rooms really small and cleaning could be improved. Cobwebs, dust on surfaces and location quite far out. Needed a car to get into Henley. Property located on main road not ideal to walk along

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Hotelpersonal. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Dusche sehr gut. Besonders lecker war das Frühstück (Full English Breakfast). Definitiv eines der besten Hotel, auf unserer 8-tägigen Südenglandreise.

Das Dreibettzimmer könnte etwas größer sein, besonders bei drei Personen.

Nice location ideally situated for our plans. Very nice breakfast including healthy options. The staff were amazing.

We arrived back from our event late in the evening and it was pitch black outside the accommodation block. Not even a light to guide you to the door. I was carrying bags and had to watch my step until I got inside the front door. An easy solution would be to fit a night light.

We arrived very late so was hard to find the B&B part in the dark but that’s all on us!

Close to the coach house restaurant and bar

I didn’t realise we would need to get a taxi there and back to Henley as there is no path some of the way £10 each way. You can clearly hear your neighbours in their rooms, was cobwebs in our room but I didn’t mind cleaning them. Also the shower head had a part missing which made the flow come out wrong.

Le cadre est très calme et très agréable. La chambre pour 3 personnes est très confortable, les lits aussi, et même si pas très grande à 3 adultes nous ne nous sommes pas marché dessus. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, et l’été le soir ils font restaurant, c’était bon.

Bedroom without en-suite. Bathroom accessed across landing! Path to room from restaurant, bar etc poorly lit and no lighting at door to bedrooms. No bedroom lock

Room was clean and ready at agreed time. Staff in bar area were very friendly. Surroundings were lovely and relaxing. Good shower with decent pressure. Two fans provided for cooling.

Stairs in B&B area are very steep. Mattress didn't breathe at all, which made us very hot (weather was exceptionally hot). Instead of squeezing in a third bed, a small sofa or similar to sit on would be more useful. Food was not great. We had minute steak which was quite gristly, and a peri peri chicken burger which was so spicy it was untouchable. I am used to spicy food, but I couldn't have eaten that.

Bathroom was not en-suite but still private. Only noticed this after I had booked. Still worked out well.

Everything!! Easy to find, perfect setting, beautifully maintained and so pretty. The room was very clean and well equipped. Service was excellent - a couple of young girls in the bar / restaurant and a young man too at breakfast.

Ontbijt was te kiezen uit aantal opties, niet uitgebreid maar wel voldoende. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Airco ontbrak op de kamer, niet overbodig zeker met de uitermate warme dagen dat we er waren . Er was wel een blazer in de kamer laten draaien om het draaglijk te maken.

Smoke detector in bed room flashed all night. Emergency lighting in bedroom. The recharging light should be relocated into lobby rather than bedroom. TV - no idea why but flashed multi colours after it was turned off. Had to turn off at wall. Better lighting needed in bathroom

No decent way to park a bike. The proposed bike stands are "wheelbenders" that are not secure and can damage the bike.

The staff are always lovely here, down to earth but so friendly and relaxed. You get the impression they actually like working there, and everyone seems so friendly. Rooms are very comfortable, the food is great; the fact you can sit outside in different places is great. It's just a really relaxing friendly place and just walking about is nice.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options to choose from. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a pleasant place to relax after a day of walking along the thames.

The hotel is a bit outside the city center, so we needed to take a taxi whenever we went to or from the hotel. There was no air conditioning, which was challenging during the heat wave, although a fan was provided.

It’s a great, quiet and beautiful place to stay. A good size for the four of us and we really enjoyed our stay. Great breakfast too!

Sehr schön gelegene Unterkunft im Grünen, die zu einem Golfplatz gehört. Herrliche Ruhe in der Nacht. Man könnte nach Henley rein laufen, aber wegen des fehlenden Fußwegs ist das Auto sicherer. Gutes Frühstück. Sehr nettes Personal. Ich hatte Medikamente im Zimmer vergessen und bekam nach der Abreise ganz schnell eine Mail, so dass ich zurückgekommen konnte um sie abzuholen.

An sehr heißen Sommertagen heizen sich die Zimmer stark auf. Zwar gab es einen Ventilator, aber eine Klimaanlage wäre toll.

Die Unterkunft liegt inmitten einer wunderschönen Golfanlage. Unser Zimmer war groß, das Bett sehr kuschelig. Badezimmer sehr sauber und neu. Qualitativ hochwertiges Frühstück in einem schönen Restaurant beziehungsweise auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf dem Golfplatz. Das Hotel kann man ohne weiteres weiter empfehlen. Für uns war es eine Überraschung, wenn alles perfekt war.

The golf club surroundings was beautiful. Room was clean. Breakfast was excellent with cook-to-order using fresh ingredients. Service staff were friendly. A young lady who had checked us in went her way out to take our food order when it was near closing and the queues for drinks at the bar was long.

Booking.com stated 'Lift' under hotel facilities, but there was none to access our room on the 1st floor. The separate private bathroom for our room was an inconvenience -- but we knew ahead.

Zonder auto ligt de accomodatie niet ideaal om naar het centrum te gaan of te wandelen.

Room was too small, too hot - no air con, no ventilation, a simple fan would have been ok - there is a light on the smoke alarm which flashed insistently. We didn’t stay - we literally showered got into bed realised we were not going to sleep and left - I did message the 24 hour mobile to let them know - this was such a shame as the location is stunning

Cleanliness and the person who greeted us. Lots of parking. So much greenery everywhere. Good coffee in the room and still cold water in the fridge. The price was great despite several events happening in the vicinity.

We had a tiny room with a hard bed and a bathroom outside the room. First time this happened to me. It was ok. But beware - rooms are really loud. You can hear your neighbours, and the floors squeak like crazy, so take your earplugs with you. Neighbours were banging doors and running around the stairs until 11pm, so all ok, but be mindful about it. This was for the cheapest room, as we just needed to crash somewhere between Tough Mudders. Also, staff could do with some training. They ran out of eggs, so the first thing they should have done was: talk to the kitchen to get the ETA when the eggs are back on the menu. Then tell everyone who is coming to get breakfast that there are no eggs and when they are expecting them to be back.
