Very relaxing, beautiful room & pool, fantastic food, great staff.

No shops close by but there was a free shuttle to transfer in and out of Sanur.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im The Alantara Sanur. Alles war sehr schön und gepflegt. Das Frühstück war besonders lecker – die Cooking Station mit frisch zubereiteten Eiern war super, und auch der Kaffee hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Alle Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, sodass man sich jederzeit sehr willkommen gefühlt hat. Unser Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, und auch die Umgebung sowie der Balkon waren sehr schön. Der Spa-Bereich hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen und lädt wunderbar zum Entspannen ein. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel mit hervorragendem Service und einer sehr angenehmen Atmosphäre. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden das The Alantara Sanur gerne weiterempfehlen!

Wenn man überhaupt einen kleinen Kritikpunkt suchen möchte: Unser Zimmer lag direkt über dem Restaurant. Dadurch hatten wir als Ausblick leider das Vordach des Restaurants, und es war dort etwas lauter.

We had a wonderful experience here! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay feel very special. The gardens are beautiful and meticulously maintained, creating a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. We also absolutely loved the pool setting; it is a gorgeous area, and the floating cushions in the pool were a fantastic touch for relaxing. To top it all off, the food was delicious. We highly recommend this place!

Overall we enjoyed our time here, and when we had a small cleanliness issue, it was fixed very quickly. That being said, some of the facilities could use a bit of maintenance. The gym feels a little outdated because the materials are getting old, the yoga mats are falling apart, and the space could use a deep clean. The pool area could also use some care, as the towels are worn out and ready to be replaced, and some of the umbrellas have seen better days.

We spent a lot of our time in the fabulous swimming pool relaxing on their floating beanbags. The restaurant provided delicious breakfast buffets with a wide choice of local and Western style food. Every staff member was sweet, kind and welcoming.

The location is slightly far away from the beach but the hotel had a complimentary shuttle which helped.

The hotel staff was perfect. Always friendly, smiling and ready to help. The hotel yard is also perfectly arranged and it is very pleasant to stay in it as well as in the area around the pool

Room hygiene is at an unacceptably low level for a 4-star hotel. Upon entering the room, we found bed linen with large yellow stains. At our request, the bed linen was changed. The towels in the bathroom, as well as those around the pool, are no longer white but worn and gray. The bathroom was uncomfortably dark and did not give the impression of cleanliness.

Très bel hôtel , placé un peu à l'écart mais avec services de navette. Petit déjeuner buffet excellent ( le meilleur de notre voyage) et personnel très serviable et aimable.

La chambre de la villa privée sentait fort l humidité et le renfermé.

The amazing welcoming and friendly staff and service, were exceptional!! Our room with a pool was beautiful and very special. Bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable.

Maybe just more vegetarian/vegan options but I understand we are a small percentage of people and the staff would offer to make anything vege if needed which was kind of them.

Le personnel était très sympa. Il y a une navette gratuite pour aller au centre (toutes les 2h environ). Grand choix au petit-déjeuner. Pour quelqu’un qui veut dîner à l’hôtel il y a des soirées à thème. Les parties communes sont jolies.

La chambre est sombre par rapport aux photos sur internet. Elle était également poussiéreuse et les serviettes étaient sales. La vaisselle souvent sale. Le sèche cheveux ne séchait pas du tout. La rue principale entre l’hôtel et le centre difficile à traverser. Le bruit (gens bruyants, chiens qui aboient…)

Location difficult walk to Sanur beach. But did provide a regular shuttle service every 2 hours to try to compensate for location.

Since the moment we arrived we felt very relaxed and welcomed. Our room was amazing. All the attention to detail and the layout was perfect. The pool and restaurant was 10/10 and the breakfast and room service were flawless.

This location requires grab to go out the centre of Sanur with toddler. On map, the location is close to the centre, however due to main veicle road, pedestrians need to detour. Also Footpath is under construction.

Magnifique hôtel, très beau et parfaitement entretenu. Les chambres sont d’une propreté irréprochable, et la piscine est superbe. Gros coup de cœur également pour le personnel, extrêmement gentil, souriant et aux petits soins du début à la fin. Le petit-déjeuner est incroyable, avec un excellent service à la carte pour le reste de la journee le tarif est tres abordable. Pour les déplacements, je recommande d’installer Grab sur son téléphone, car il est difficile de se déplacer à pied pas assez de trotoir pour les pietons, prix tres abordables, (exemple moins de 10 eur pour se rendre a l aeroport )Pour les excursions, GetYourGuide est également très pratique : les prestataires viennent vous chercher et vous raccompagnent à l’hôtel. Je recommande à 100 %

Het is echt een klein paradijs! Alles is mooi en schoon. Het personeel super aardig en behulpzaam. Het eten is ook heerlijk! Wij hebben er een fantastisch verblijf gehad.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. I struggle with the firmness of beds in Bali but this hotel is known for their comfortable mattresses. This was the reason I booked this hotel. Bed is fantastic. Staff are lovely. And I like the area of Sanur.

When you enter the room, you walk through the bathroom. The room is very dark. I hoped for a quiet stay but all rooms face the pool which has a level of music that reaches inside your room along with hearing people talking around the pool. What I didn’t like the most was the dirty smell of my bedding. The sheets smelt like old sweat. I lifted up the sheet to see NO mattress protector on the bed. I stayed two nights and I was struggling with the smell of the sheets. The buffet breakfast was average.

Very comfortable rooms, great bed, clean, pool was amazing, cocktails, friendly staff, excellent breakfast…. Couldn’t ask for better!

Only occasional mozzie in my room is all I can think off.

Amazing service and lovely staff. This is the second time we have stayed at the Alantara. The location is great, walking distance to the main street, cafes, restaurants, etc. The shuttle bus is also great for getting into the main area for shopping or the beach. The rooms have everything needed, comfy beds and regular room service. We loved the ground floor villa. The buffet breakfast is also a highlight, and the themed evenings by the pool are great. The staff provide wonderful service at every meal and while guests are sitting by the pool.

The pool towels and cushions on the day beds could be refreshed. Although they were cleaned regularly they seemed a bit old.

The pool and room were great, staff were very very friendly and accomodating. The facilities were clean.

There was construction work happening below our room (heavy drilling into the concrete walls) and we complained to the staff - they told us that it would only continue for another 20 minutes .. which was true, but then it started up again the next day - we should not have had to listen to heavy construction noise such as drilling into concrete while we were staying there, we should’ve been given a room far away from the construction noise.

Lovely hotel and fabulous staff. Super comfortable bed. Yes it’s a walk to the beach front but this shouldn’t put you off. Plenty of good eating places close by too.

Location is a little way from the beach which I knew before booking however the free shuttle bus offered by the hotel makes it very easy to get to central Sanur which I appreciated.

Le personnel, l’accueil, le professionnalisme. Les massages, le restaurant et le dejeuner, la piscine Nous avons eu besoin d’eux ils se sont mis en quatre. Très bel établissement.

A 15 mînutes a pied de la plage et des restaurants en devant traverser une 2 X2 voies très dangereuse, bruyante et salle, cela gâche un peu le ressenti général.

Wat een super hotel! Mooie kamers, heerlijk ontbijt en diner! En het personeel is erg vriendelijk! We verbleven hier met ons zoontje van 11 maanden oud. Er werd regelmatig gevraagd of ze eten of fruit konden maken voor onze kleine. We hadden de deluxe kamer met uitzicht op het zwembad. Deze is voorzien van een gordijn waardoor je de ruimte in tweeën kan delen, wat praktisch is als je kind in dezelfde slaapkamer slaapt. Het zwembad heeft een ondiep gedeelte wat fijn is als je met jonge kinderen reist. Bij dit gedeelte staan ook twee grote cabana’s waar je met het hele gezin op kan liggen. Het hotel ligt buiten het drukke gedeelte dus je hebt vervoer nodig om naar het centrum te gaan. Hiervoor biedt het hotel een gratis shuttle service aan. We hebben hier zelf geen gebruik van gemaakt I.v.m de slaaptijden van ons zoontje maar met een taxi of grab ben je er zo.

Very friendly and clean

We had a wonderful stay at The Alantara Sanur. We chose it for the last night and day of our trip, before heading to the airport and it was absolutely amazing. The room was quiet, spacious, clean. The pool was spectacular, the food delicious and the massage superb. The service was great, the staff was very friendly. For us it was the perfect place to end our trip.

To give something on the way: during our stay in Indonesia we were lucky to experience some environmentally friendly hotels, which chose to refrain from using plastic, reducing disposable vanity products and sourcing only organic products and produce. We believe this is a necessary step for sustainable tourism.

From entrance of the property to reception it was very welcoming. Heart warming welcome from the staff welcome drunk and frangipani, and cold towelette. What I loved is how the staff said Welcome home The bar ans restaurant staff were amazing, great service. The food was tasty. Enjoyed the balinese show and buffet. I stayed at 3 different places in Sanur on this trip. Because I was a solo traveler the staff were so amazing it gave me the comfort of being at home and part of their family. I will certainly be becoming back and will stay longer.

I’m not one for writing reviews but his hotel was absolutely beautiful. The pool and hotel is gorgeous and feels authentic. The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and made so much effort with our baby, trying to make her smile and laugh every time they saw her. The breakfast buffet was delicious too and the staff cater so well for young children, offering baby utensils and high chairs. Such a wonderful stay, we would love to come back one day! Our favourite hotel so far in Bali ❤️

The hotel is quite outdated, and both the rooms and the furniture are old and worn. There were dirty stains on the floors, as well as in the bathroom and shower, as shown in the photos. For the same price, you can find much better hotels in Bali. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a little haven away from the hustle and bustle. Great pool and great facilities, this is my Zen destination when I travel to Sanur.

De ligging, het licht aan de verkeerde kant van een drukke snelweg die je te voet amper over kan steken. Dit maakt het heel moeilijk om even naar het strand/winkelstraatjes te lopen. En maakt je afhankelijk van taxi’s, voor relatief kleine stukjes wandelen.

Fantastisk hotel. Der var pænt og rent og de var vildt gæstfrie. Der var en fantastisk service. Pæne og rene værelser og en rigtig god seng. Poolen var også skøn. Maden var virkelig god. Morgenmads buffeten var så lækker. Men alt hvad vi bestilte ellers af mad var også rigtig lækkert. Personalet var enormt hjælpsomme og søde.

バリの雰囲気を感じられる素敵な内装でした！あとスタッフの皆さんがとても優しくて、英語がわからない私でも特に不便に感じることなく過ごせました。朝食もバラエティ豊かで、出てくるコーヒーも美味しかったです。プールもバルコニーも心地よくてバリ旅行を素敵なものにしてくれました。うがい用と飲料用で瓶タイプのお水が用意されていたので安心でした。Googleマップでの口コミがよくなかったので 私は行っていませんが、Arta Sedana Sanurへのシャトルバスが出ていたので、使いたい人は利用したらいいと思います。その近く徒歩15分ほどのところにICON Baliというきれいなモールがあるので、お土産をみたり食事したりできます。

ドライヤーがおもちゃみたいで一生乾かない、タオルの使用感がすごい、エレベーターがないことですかね。チェックイン時、荷物は運んでくださるのであまり気にしなくてもいいかもですが、帰りは自分で持って降りるので、エレベーターがあったらいいのになと思いました。何よりもドライヤーがゴミカスすぎます、、、風量が弱くてロングヘアであれば永遠に乾かないので、持参することをお勧めします。部屋のタオルもプール用のタオルも使用感があるので、日本クオリティを求めてる人は持って行ったほうがいいです。周りは細い道と大通りなのであまり散歩には適していないように感じました。

The rooms were spacious. Grounds well tended and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

My husband and I did not utilise the free breakfast each day preferring to have coffee at our rooms seating area. We started to be questioned too many times if there was a problem and having to qualify our choices. Although the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating the questions became an issue that wasn’t necessary.

Un séjour fabuleux ! Un avant-goût du paradis. Chambres magnifiques et confortables, mais ce que nous avons apprécié par dessus tout : la magnifique piscine au milieu d'un écrin de verdure luxuriante, le restaurant proposant une large gamme de plats afin de séduire chacun. La soirée Seafood et saxophone : top pour un dîner en amoureux ! Merci. Idéalement placé (à un petit quart d'heure à pied de la plage), environnement calme. Et le personnel enfin : souriant, attentionné, qui a rendu le séjour magique !

We were fortunate enough to experience a cooking class with Made, and we cannot recommend it enough! From picking us up at the hotel we were staying, welcome drinks when we arrived, being guided through cooking authentic Indonesian food with the helpful and funny Made, to then sitting down to enjoy what we both agreed was up there with the very best food we’ve eaten - this is an experience not to be missed! It is humbling to see just the level of effort and fresh ingredients that go into Indonesian meals. We even walked away with our aprons, recipe books and certificates. Incredible. Thank you so much Made for making our last day in Bali the best!!!

Beautiful hotel, very good food, excellent breakfast. We stayed only for one night as a stop over towards Nusa Penida. The hotel organized our fast ferry and pick up from the hotel to the harbour. Super service. Thx !

Un hôtel exceptionnel véritable havre de paix ou règne une totale sérénité . Les employés sont tous avenants souriants et extrêmement arrangeants. Tout est au top et soigné : la chambre, l’environnement , le restaurant où nous avons pris petit déjeuner et déjeuner . Quel plaisir de pouvoir profiter également des vélos pour faire la promenade maritime ou aller en ville , autre option la navette de l’hôtel . J’ai fait un massage balinais au spa de l’hôtel que je recommande grandement ! Pour résumer une halte délicieuse avant de rentrer en France .

Beautiful vibe and atmosphere of the resort, like a lush paradise. Amazing pool with pool bar which our whole family loved. Location is not close to the beach but there is easy infrastructure to get there in like 10 min. Rooms are not huge but the design is super practical and intelligent, still very stylish, with a lot of storage space and privacy. Everything was always very clean. Great value, would love to come back!
