Lieve ontvangst, heel behulpzaam naar het (om)boeken van treinen etc. Het bed was super comfy en het ontbijt: wát een buffet, nooit eerder gezien, super lekker!

The breakfast spread was good. The room was clean.

The room is too small and the pillows were too soft. Whenever we asked staff for suggestions or recomendations, they seemed to not know.

La colazione è stata una delle parti più belle del soggiorno: ricchissima, varia e adatta a tutti i gusti. Un servizio attento e un’atmosfera accogliente che rendono il soggiorno piacevole dal primo all’ultimo momento. Consigliato con sincerità.

What really stood out was the hospitality of the staff — everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely focused on making the stay enjoyable. Overall, DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jakarta.

Im sorry but the mosque noise under the hotel was so loud especially on Sunday couldn't even hear the music in the morning when having breakfast.

breakfast had a lot of varieties. Gym was ok, but expected more Gym equipment. Overall it was a good stay.

Since I was staying in the executive floor , I expected a bigger room.

My default hotel when in Jakarta. I stayed here almost every Summer holiday since 2018! My kids love the lagoon pool and the extensive breakfast. They recently have upgraded the kids pool which makes my children so happy. I personally love its location, so close to almost everything I need. Every staff is so accommodating and friendly. Despite being a 5* hotel, they’re quite flexible with an online take away like GoFood. That’s an extra hug for DoubleTree! Pro tip: avoid staying in the weekend when you want to chill or a quieter crowd. Watch a movie for under €5 at the Metropole next door and enjoy the local food in the food court.

Heerlijke plek om aan te komen en te zijn in een drukke, grote stad. Heerlijk zwembad, geweldig ontbijt ( neem vooral uitgebreid de tijd daarvoor!), goede bedden en lieve staf.

Voor ons persoonlijk is Canggu niet de plaats waar wij weer terug zouden komen. Maar de ligging van het hotel en de hotel faciliteiten hebben onze vakantie daarentegen erg aangenaam gemaakt! Ik was 1 dag niet helemaal top, er werd meteen speciaal voor mij eten gemaakt wat ik kon eten en het personeel bleef met zorg en aandacht hieraan besteden tot dat ik was opgeknapt! Het is een 3 sterren hotel omdat het meubilair en badkamer misschien voorzien zijn van wat oudere inrichting, maar daarentegen is het fris en schoon! Voor mij verdient dit hotel zeker een ster erbij! Echt alles was goed! Het restaurant echt met een top kok! Van ontbijt, lunch tot avondeten, alles was lekker! En het personeel verdient ook echt een ster want tenslotte brengen zij de liefde, sfeer en aandacht over! Voor iedereen die naar Canggu wilt gaan, dit hotel is echt een goede aanrader!

Hospitality is one of the most meaningful ways through which we experience a destination. Beyond the physical environment, it is often through people, conversations and gestures of care that a place begins to reveal its character. My stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Diponegoro became a reflection of this, particularly through the warmth of Indonesian hospitality that accompanied the experience from beginning to end. Even before arrival, communication was thoughtful and well organised. Coordination was clear, responses were prompt and arrangements were handled with consideration despite the short timeframe surrounding my visit. Special mention to Meiske for her thoughtful assistance ahead of my arrival and for ensuring that the arrangements surrounding my late night arrival were handled with care. Throughout the stay, it was evident that the teams understood the importance of making every interaction feel natural, personable and sincere. Indonesian hospitality carries a distinctive warmth. There is a graciousness in the way people engage, an attentiveness in conversation and an ability to make a guest feel acknowledged and welcomed. Throughout my stay, the team engaged with me warmly. Conversations felt genuine, responses were attentive and there was a consistent willingness to connect beyond the functional requirements of service. The accommodation reflected a similar balance between comfort and character. The bedroom incorporated elements inspired by Indonesian design, while the wider living and working spaces created a comfortable environment for rest and preparation. Dining experiences were equally thoughtful, beginning with breakfast beside the pool and tropical surroundings before continuing into the Executive Lounge. Each space offered its own atmosphere while remaining connected to the wider character of the property. Behind this experience was a considerable level of operational coordination. Front Office, Concierge, Security, Food and Beverage, Culinary, the Executive Lounge and the wider operational teams each contributed different elements to the stay. What impressed me was the way these different areas came together naturally. The complexity behind a hotel operation remained largely invisible, allowing the guest experience to feel comfortable and seamless. To me, good hospitality is ultimately about engagement. It is the ability of a team to understand context, recognise the individual guest and respond with warmth, confidence and sincerity. It requires attentiveness, emotional intelligence and the ability to preserve the human connection that gives hospitality its meaning. During this visit, I experienced these qualities consistently. Achieving this level of warmth and coordination requires capable teams and experienced leadership. I would therefore like to extend my appreciation to General Manager Mr Sebastian Goldmann and the wider team at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Diponegoro. The professionalism, responsiveness and engagement demonstrated throughout my stay reflected a service culture that was evident across the property. De kamers zijn ruim, zeer schoon met heerlijke bedden. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgbreid en van goede kwaliteit. Het zwembad en de fitness zijn ook echt een meerwaarde. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en er op gericht dat je niks te kort komt

De prijzen in het restaurant zijn wat aan de hoge kant.

Stayed at double tree and was very impressed with the hospitality provided by Concierge Helmi, Front office Feby Housekeeping mirror wording Andry. We just had to get their names and drop it here for their disgustingly incredible hospitality. Food was beyond great, and their classic fried rice is a must order! Ambience and atmosphere was terrific. Overall a 10/10. Will defo choose double tree diponegoro on any Jakarta’s visit.

We had an amazing stay! The staff was really friendly, the pool was amazing, the breakfast was absolutely perfect and the rooms are beautifull and clean.

Another example of the best hotel I've been to. My room is big, beds are very comfortable. All the facilities within the hotel is exquisite, the swimming pool especially make me think that I'm in a tropical resort while I'm actually in the centre of Jakarta. This is really good because after you go shopping or visited the city, you can just go back to your hotel and indulge yourself in a comfortable tropical resort. And the breakfast is a lot to choose from and every food were prepared to the highest quality.

I wish they can open the swimming pool 24 hours because I wanna take my swimming late at night.

De hoge prijs van de was laten doen. Dat was helaas overpriced zeker in tegenstelling tot de wasserette diensten die je ook direct buiten kan laten doen. Sneller goedkoper.

I stayed here from August 11–17 for a business trip in Jakarta, and overall I had a great experience, redeeming my Hilton Honor points. Feby from the Front Desk team was very helpful during check-in. She explained the updated member benefits clearly and even helped me get an upgrade to a room on the Executive Floor. The bellman was also very helpful with all my luggage, as I brought quite a few items for work. Unfortunately, I forgot his name, but he was tall, had short hair, and had a small diagonal line detail on his eyebrow. The room was nice as usual and pretty much what I would expect from a DoubleTree. I also appreciated the extra amenities and chocolate gift as a Gold member. Cindy, our Housekeeping Attendant, was very helpful in arranging the room cleaning around the times I was out. Even on days when I was still at the hotel during the usual cleaning hours, I always came back to a clean and well-prepared room. I had lunch at OPEN Restaurant and tried the nasi goreng and a noodle dish with a laksa-like soup. Both were okay, although nothing particularly stood out for me. The 24 hours gym was great, especially the second floor, which has a good selection of equipment for functional workouts. I spent most of my time at the Executive Lounge on the 17th floor. I really enjoyed the ambience—it was calm and comfortable enough for me to work for hours. The team in this lounge was very accommodating and made sure we had a pleasant experience during our time here. The afternoon tea had some nice canapés, and during the evening cocktails, my favorites were the Nusantara Negroni and the hot Jamu. This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I would definitely come back again. Cheers!

I come here every once in a while just to enjoy the pool and relaxing, almost resort-like atmosphere. Staff is super friendly, breakfast is delicious and the executive lounge is also very nice. They have switched to an Indonesian menu for happy hour which is delicious, especially the many sambal choices. Bit of Western/Indo mix may be great, but they know better what they are doing. Thank you Erika, Melati and Sherlene for a great check in experience and an amazing room upgrade. Thank you Feby and Della in the lounge, you are wonderful.

La piscina è il suo punto forte immersa nel verde ,le camere sono ampie e la colazione buonissima con tanta scelta. Lo staff molto gentile e sempre sorridente.

Forse la posizione mi aspettavo un po' più centrale è su una via poco frequentata ma con taxi o Grab si risolve.

Had an exceptional massage session during my stay at the hotel. I was massaged by Mrs. Sekar. Her technique was outstanding. It had a seamless, continuous flow where every movement felt connected. She knew precisely how much pressure to apply throughout the treatment. I left feeling deeply relaxed, refreshed, and completely free of tension and pain. Highly recommended if you are looking for top-tier relaxation

Frühstücksbuffet war super. Wir waren uns einig, dass dies das beste Frühstück von unseren drei Wochen in Indonesien war. Es war alles vorhanden. Von asiatischen Speisen zu westlichen Speisen. Personal war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Sprachkentnisse des Personals waren sehr gut. Riesiger Pool mit schöner Anlage - sehr gepflegt. Gutes Gym.

Beim Abräumen der Tische im Poolbereich müssten die Tische ebenfalls gereinigt werden.

I stayed in one of the suites at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Diponegoro, and from check-in to check-out, the hotel consistently left a positive impression. The warm hospitality started the moment I arrived. I appreciated the thoughtful welcome amenities, and I particularly enjoyed the traditional Indonesian snacks served in the lobby—a small touch that gave the hotel a genuine sense of place rather than feeling like just another international chain. The swimming pool is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the property. Spacious, beautifully landscaped, and surprisingly tranquil, it feels more like a resort than a city hotel. Breakfast was equally impressive, with attentive staff offering freshly prepared specialty dishes in addition to the extensive buffet. There were only two minor disappointments during my stay. Hot water in the bathroom was somewhat inconsistent, and I happened to notice a cigarette butt in the corridor. Neither issue significantly affected my overall experience, but both felt slightly out of character for a hotel that otherwise pays such close attention to detail. That said, considering the quality of the facilities, the service, and the price point, DoubleTree Jakarta Diponegoro offers exceptional value. It is certainly one of the easiest to recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and remarkably good-value stay in Jakarta.

The hotel enjoys a truly beautiful location, surrounded by lush tropical nature and offering a peaceful atmosphere that immediately helps you unwind. While the property itself is showing its age and would certainly benefit from renovation, it has a unique charm and authenticity that newer resorts often lack. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its exceptional hospitality. Unfortunately, during our stay we became seriously ill and required medical assistance. The hotel manager, Ms. Angeline Meiske, responded with extraordinary kindness and professionalism. She immediately organized medical care, helped us throughout the entire process, checked on us regularly, and made sure we had everything we needed to recover. She went far beyond her professional responsibilities and showed genuine compassion, empathy, and care. In all our years of travelling, we have rarely experienced such sincere hospitality. Ms. Meiske did not simply solve a problem—she made us feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for during a very difficult time. Her warmth and dedication transformed what could have been a stressful experience into one we will always remember with gratitude. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Angeline Meiske and her wonderful team. People like her are the reason guests return. We sincerely hope the owners invest in renovating this beautiful property, because with such an outstanding team and such a fantastic location, it has the potential to be one of the finest hotels in the area.
