Character hotel with lovely pool area, great location.
Could have done with an extra mirror in the room?!
Servizi outdoor e colazione eccellenti
Camera non molto ampia e poco luminosa
Liked the location and breakfast was good.
Rooms were small for the money over £400 for the night
A stunning property with so many lovely spots to sit and enjoy the scenery. A magical place. Incredible service and friendly staff. Would highly recommend. We hope to continue to visit yearly!
Loved everything!
Pool
Room was tiny and nothing like the photos, asked to move rooms but hotel was full. Would not go back because of the room
Everything!! Character and history rolled into the most beautiful grounds
excellent breakfast great staff great location room was magnificent as well as good pool
nothing
Stunning hotel with a short walk to the beach, shops and a full array of restaurants. The breakfast was delicious every day. The options were superb and catered well to the vegetarians in our group of 14! Loved playing tennis and the layout of the spa area with garden was perfect for morning yoga and a quieter place away from the main pool to relax. Main pool was gorgeous too. Great day on the e-bikes, 2hr boat trip, hike up the mountains and SUP. Couldn't wish for a better holiday.
Some staff were strict with the rules of not taking bottles of water for the table but with a group of 14 rather than individuals continually filling up taking 2-3 bottles made more sense to us. I did have to speak to the manager on this point but it was resolved quickly and we had jugs of water and coffee on our large table every morning thereafter.
Fabulous location, historic building, lovely staff
Nothing
This historic hotel is truly exceptional, both inside and out. The gardens and pool felt like an oasis.
Nothing
Beautiful building,great location.lovely staff.
Toiletries in room poor, pool towels small and shabby, air con in room very very noisy.
It is absolutely beautiful, in a perfect location.
Nothing
Just how beautiful and tranquil it was.
Unfortunately, as the building was old, but beautiful, the sound insulation was poor with echoing in the corridors when people closed and opened the original wooden doors. I had to revert to earplugs, unfortunately, to get a proper sleep.
Service was amazing by the hotel staff, amenities were great on site and it's very close to the beach. You don't need to leave the proximity of the hotel if you didn't want to.
Nothing to do with the hotel but taxi prices are expensive to get around.
The location was fantastic, right by the beach and port de Soller. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the shower facilities were great. The pool was amazing, and the spa facilities were lovely. The on site restaurant, La Figuera was superb - a real highlight.
An iron could have been provided initially however the reception staff were able to provide one. Also the coffee at breakfast wasn’t very good.
Det hele…
Absolutely stunning hotel, very Spanish and has lots of character. Beautiful pool and restaurant.
I thought the room was basic but it had everything you needed. We don’t spend a lot of time in the room anyway.
The photos don’t do Es Port justice, it’s a beautiful botanical haven with great proximity to the port. The pool area was fantastic with a great pool bar for snacks and drinks, the spa was brilliant as was the outdoor gym.
Honestly nothing, the only addition we would suggest is potentially having a kids club.
Very relaxed and comfortable hotel. Lovely staff. Chill out zones all over the place. Good location.
It’s not right on the sea so no sea views!
Beautiful property right in the heart of Port of Sóller. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms beautifully decorated with all amenities.
Sound proofing wasn’t great, could hear everything happening in the hallway. Unfortunately you’ll need to get to the pool at the crack of dawn if you want a seat as reserving with a towel and not sitting there all day appears to be acceptable.
Beautiful historic building loved the rustic look
Nothing
Amazing hotel and facilities So close to the port and so easily accessible Staff was so friendly and helpful

Incredible Property Steeped In History
Everything about the property was superb
The grounds were sensational. So well kept and steeped in history. The buildings are beautiful too. And I loved the decor which mirrored the surroundings.
Nothing
Le petit déjeuner était de qualité ainsi que la qualité du service général
Chambres petites. Literie de mauvaise qualité et équipement dans la chambre assez pauvre. Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas intéressant
Loved the location despite paying over the odds for August eclipse day. Staff were super helpful and we had an early check in. Interesting interior as they have kept parts of the old olive press. Lovely fresh breakfast with lots of choice. Squeeze your own orange juice and huge range of fruit, bread and eggs etc. Only missed having fresh coffee as self service machine is just not as good. I would stay again but out of season.
No curtain at the window and shutter had open louvre only. Concrete floor so some hallways were noisy.
Beautiful old property in a fantastic location
Lage, Restaurant Sa Figuera, Ambiente des Hotels
Dusche: heiß/kalt Wechsel
Pool History- an old olive press with beautiful old presses. Beautiful views Great breakfast. Loved the grounds, so many places to explore. Even had own peaceful chapel. 💒
All great
Hotel architecture and garden. Rooms are spacious enough for two. Spa area. Sa Figuera restaurant is absolutely exquisite, both in terms of food and service. The hotel buffet is also good value for money
Swimming pool area too crowded and pool too warm. No fitness. Some of the staff members at reception were not friendly. The junior room for 3 was a bit tight. Would be great to add some service to get drinks in the spa area, at least water. The pool restaurant menu would benefit from having more salads- cold snacks choices.
Location, pool
Stress around breakfast and dinner. Fitness room outside is not good
Beautiful finca set in beautiful grounds close by the marina
Fantastische Unterkunft mit super Atmosphäre. Kein 0815 Hotel, sehr authentisch mit wunderbarere Parkanlage. Personal sehr zuvorkommend und unaufdringlich.
It was beautiful, perfect location, beautiful room, beautiful building. Breakfast was great
It wasn’t very sound proof so we did get woken up by people walking to breakfast (sounded like they were in the room). Breakfast got quite busy and some guests were grabby and rude. Wish it had a proper gym or at least more gym equipment
The calm Majorcan setting, great use of the space to creat a comfortable serene atmosphere at a slow pace.

Most of the staff was very friendly
We had a pleasant stay overall. However, travelling with teenagers/kids was a bit challenging as they were not allowed to use the spa or play with a ball in the pool. The airport shuttle was quite expensive, and the breakfast buffet could offer more lactose-free options. Apart from these points, we enjoyed our stay.
Nice and clean hotel. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Swimming pool and spa also good. On the negative side, guests still hold on to sunbeds early and for the whole day. Over all a very good vacation for family and adults.
Rooms and pool both fab. Great breakfast choice .
When you have a child and a pushchair there are several areas with stairs which are hard to navigate. Not helped when we were there that the closest life to our room was out of service requiring a lot more walking to do the long route or carry the pram down a lot of stairs.
Everything
We request a room for 3 , so that put an extra bed in a room for 2 so was a little bit tight for space . Beds were very comfortable.

Hotel Es Port er virkelig et skønt sted med alt af høj kvalitet. Udover skønne madrasser, værelser, aircondition, stemningen på hotellet med lækre detaljer og god mad. Perfekt sted for en ferie
Alt var perfekt
Amazing location and property. Great breakfast.
Some of the main dinner options didn't quite match the high quality of everything else.
Es Port Hotel in Port de Sóller offers a fantastic overall stay. The Highlights Atmosphere & Grounds: Beautiful historic charm surrounded by lush olive groves and stunning Tramuntana mountain views. Service & Staff: Exceptionally welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout the property. Amenities: Great pool area, excellent spa facilities, and delicious food offerings. Location: Ideally situated just a short, easy walk from the port, beach, and local restaurants. The One Downside Sun Lounger Rules: Despite the hotel having clear rules against reserving sunbeds with towels, the policy isn't enforced. Guests regularly save prime spots early in the morning and leave them unattended for hours, making it frustrating to find a lounger later in the day. Summary: Es Port Hotel is a great independent family owned hotel and is a retreat that gets almost everything else right.
Lovely large gardens and well positioned hotel. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, kind and efficient - they really went above and beyond to help us out with a few things. Our room was clean and spacious with a small balcony overlooking the garden. Because of the heatwave the large pool was warm and occasionally kids with balls took it over. However the large (for a spa) pool was very cool and the garden in front of it was a lovely, quiet place to relax with large umbrellas. Spa was great with some enjoyable hydrotherapy features. Breakfast had a good variety and make your own orange juice was fun.
Location, surrounding areas and facilities are everything you need.
The steps can be hard work in the heat but it’s a beautiful place to be.
Great location, beautiful property.
Beautiful location. Staff so pleasant and helpful. Food was amazing and great choices.
Everything was lovely.
The building itself is beautiful and the garden too. The spanish service staff were excellent and polite. The bar in the garden is beautiful. The massage at the spa was excellent.
The beds are ridiculously uncomfy - my husband and i left with bad backs and necks. The walls and doors are so thin you can hear a conversation 3 rooms down - the rooms are so loud. Some of the staff are extremely unfriendly. My son smashed his face at the pool, requiring 4 stitches at hospital, the lifeguard didn’t even notice as he spends the whole time on his phone. Following that, not a single member of staff at the hotel came to check on my son - which i find appalling. He is 7 and got a serious injury at the pool.
Location was stunning, felt very secluded and tucked away from the main port. Gorgeous, rustic feel and ambience.
Room wasn’t restocked with water, bathroom amenities werent great.
The location is amazing, short walk onto the main restaurant/port area/supermarket, beds super comfortable, immaculately clean, lovely breakfast, every meal we ate from the evening buffet menu was absolutely beautiful and reasonably priced, secure bike storage, they let us put the Tour de France on the big screen in reception every evening, they also prepared some breakfast bits for us on the days we were cycling so that we could leave really early, pool area was immaculate, we also really enjoyed that they tried to police people reserving bed and not turning up for hours, they also let us use the spa facilities on the day of departure which was really helpful…basically they went above and beyond to try and help you out and do everything they can to make sure you had a good stay.
My only complaint would be the lack of gym facilities, if they had a proper gym with weights this place would be unbeatable.
Terrible service and our room smelled like sewage.
Location is excellent and free car parking is huge plus.
WIFI could sometimes be a bit slow. Pool bar is expensive. - use the shop next door!! Pool bar club sandwich is really basic and poorly presented for the price. Especially when compared to what is provided in the local restaurants Would like to see inflatables banned from the pool.
Breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable. We could easily visit other areas, i.e., Valldemosa, Deia etc by the very good bus service
There was nothing we didn't like.
Beautiful hotel with simple yet characterful features. Welcoming staff. Excellent food Lovely pool area and outside grounds
Corridors were quite echoey and so easy to be disturbed by late returning guests and cleaners through the night and early morning
Lovely hotel great pool area 👌 easy walking distance to port and beach
Lovely grounds and location
Sunbeds could be upgraded to feel a little ‘ higher end’ rooms a little basic. Otherwise a lovely stay overall
Stunning property, excellent service, perfect location
Location could not be better. Near the beach with loads of great restaurants close by. Easy access to Soller via the tram. Safe friendly environment. The breakfast is top quality with plenty of variety.
There was quite a bit of rowdy noise with kids in the pool. Didn't mind it too much but at times it was pretty invasive with parents not keeping the noise down.
Wunderschönes Hotel
We had a week at Es Port Hotel and we loved it. The location, staff and our room were excellent. We had bed and breakfast. The breakfast was superb, enough choice for everyone and friendly staff. Our room was perfect and the cleaners were amazing. Pools were lovely, there was a large amount of Americans over for a wedding and 1 particular one was crude, loud and completely vulgar. He was absolutely awful and seemed to appear wherever we was. We had lunch by the pool a couple of times. We didn’t eat in the restaurants in the evening because we wasn’t best pleased with the lunches. The pizza at lunch seemed like a cheap frozen one and bolognese was flavorless. There are plenty of lovely restaurants to walk to. The location is great we grabbed the tram to Solle which is a lovely town with lots of independent shops and restaurants. When we just checked out the lady on reception was a miserable moo. All she kept asking was if we’d had anything overnight from the minibar and didn’t once ask us if we’d enjoyed our stay. I think she’s in the wrong job. I would definitely stay here again. We chartered a boat from the port for an evening trip which was lovely and watched the sunset.
Die Lage des Hotels. Typischer Mallorca Style.
Location, pool area
How we booked a Deluxe room with balcony ,but was told it was the same as a standard room and no balcony. Trying to dry towels and swimwear was a nightmare.
This was our second visit to the Hotel Es Port. The food, surroundings and accommodation were all first class. We did have an issue with the Air Con but this was sorted out quickly and efficiently by Kristina. We were there on a B&B basis. The breakfast has something for everyone. We did eat in the hotel restaurant one night. It was nice to try and the food was very good but we really didn't need 3 courses! We ate out on the other nights and there are plenty of fine restaurants within easy walking distance. There were a couple of small drawbacks, no hanging space and little storage space in the bathroom and we also had a lengthy wait to get served in the outside bar one night so it only gets 9 and a half out of 10. It hasn't stopped us booking again for next year! This is a lovely hotel with great staff and a superb location.
The Gardens, spa & pool. Everything very clean & tidy
As above
The property itself is stunning. We had a great time and would definitely recommend to our family and friends.
Bed and pillows could be better, Daily water in room and daily towel change.
Location is incredible, the hotel smells divine, breakfast has a great selection and lunch menu is reasonably priced for the quality. Rooms are lovely
Can be difficult to get a bed around the pool, people put towels down and don’t return
Beautiful old building full of historic character in a great location.
Beautiful place to stay with exceptional facilities, food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our young son.
Nothing we didn't like. Only suggestion would be a lock on the room door, our 18-month old child could open from the inside.
Beautiful setting and spa.
Pool area. Too crowded and pool too shallow.
Just enjoyed 9 days at this wonderful Hotel which is set in extensive lush gardens yet being minutes walking distance from the centre of Soller. Excellent dining with numerous options superb staff all seem happy in their jobs and want to please and provide a good service. We had a junior suite which had a good balcony with views of the bay.
meals wre good. Evening meal good value. Swimming pools greaat. Historic room interesting
This property exceeded our expectations. Beautiful expansive property tucked away from the beachfront hotels which we appreciated. Close to everything but in your own little sanctuary. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms with exceptional breakfast. The pool!! Will definitely return.
Nothing
We stayed at Hotel Es Port for four nights and paid approximately €1,350 for a standard twin room. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, we were shown to a very small room in the old part of the hotel. It was very quiet, which was the only positive aspect. The room consisted of an entrance hall, a small bedroom and an outdated bathroom. Although we had specifically booked a twin room with two separate beds, the room contained only a small double bed that sagged badly in the middle. An extra bed had been placed in the hallway next to the door. We immediately returned to reception and explained that we had booked a twin room. We were told that no twin rooms were available. This was surprising, as rooms in the same category still appeared to be available for booking on the hotel's website. Despite asking several times during our stay, no alternative room was offered. Unfortunately, we never felt that our concerns were taken seriously, and the attitude of some staff members suggested that our complaint was viewed as an inconvenience for the hotel rather than a genuine problem. In addition, the air conditioning did not work on our first night, making the room uncomfortably hot and resulting in yet another sleepless night. Although a technician fixed the problem the following day, this should have been checked before guests arrived. As a result, one of us had to sleep on the extremely hard extra bed in the hallway, while the other struggled with the sagging mattress. Neither of us slept properly during the entire four-night stay. The room itself was far from what is advertised on the website. The description mentions “spacious” and “very light rooms,” but our room was neither. It was dark and enclosed, with no proper windows. The only openings were the entrance door and the bedroom's French doors, which could not realistically be left open during the night. Fresh air and natural light were therefore very limited, leaving us without any view. The bathroom was outdated, with a very small sink, virtually no storage space, and a shower-over-bath with a shower curtain. The hairdryer provided in the bathroom was also not working. At check-out, the hotel waived the cost of the drinks we had consumed at the pool bar as a gesture of goodwill, which we appreciated. However, this did not resolve the issues we experienced during our stay. Given the price we paid, we expected much better. While the hotel grounds are attractive and the location is pleasant, the room we received did not match either our booking or the hotel's description. Combined with the lack of a suitable solution from the hotel, this significantly affected our stay and resulted in four sleepless nights. To put our experience into perspective, we stayed in another hotel in Port de Sóller immediately afterwards. Despite being significantly less expensive, it provided everything we had expected from our stay at Hotel Es Port: comfortable beds, effective air conditioning, a functioning hairdryer, excellent service, and a room that matched the booking. The contrast was remarkable.
We liked the old, traditional building and the outdoor bar area, as well as the restaurant by the pool. Friendly staff. Lovely views of the mountains. The best thing the hotel has going for itself is probably the location.
The breakfast was more on the lower end of a 4 star hotel. Nowhere near enough loungers by the pool for the number of guests. Spa pool area felt a bit shabby.
Hotel es Port it absolutely beautiful with stunning grounds and amazing customer service, all staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating it was the most seamless stay we have ever had at a hotel! We had a superior room and it was perfect with a lovely view from the balcony. The breakfast was delicious with a different selection every day from a range of pastries to pancakes to cooked breakfast and especially loved how you could make your own freshly squeezed orange juice! The pool area is also great with a nice big pool and the style of the umbrellas is a nice touch to make it a luxe experience. Will definitely be returning 🙌🏻
Sehr schönes Gebäude, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, freundliches Personal, außergewöhnliches Frühstück
The hotel and surrounds are stunning. Breakfast and staff were both especially amazing. The hotel is in an amazing spot so close to the water and the promenade with all the restaurants and bars.
The location and ambience of the hotel were fantastic. Beautiful pool area with excellent pool bar/restaurant. Lovely breakfast sitting on terrace.
The only suggestion i have would be to put cushions on the sun loungers then it would be an 11 out of 10.
We are currently staying at Hotel Es Port for the 15th time. The evening meal has certainly improved, as it was really not good a few years ago. We are also pleased that there is now a small outdoor gym and that further investment is being made to expand it, as it is definitely being used. It is a super quiet hotel, which we believe makes it very unique and attracts a specific clientele that greatly appreciates this tranquility. We hope they can maintain this, as in previous years there were a few very noisy groups, which many customers did not appreciate. The unique character and atmosphere truly make it a special hotel, and we hope it remains so. There is no entertainment. There is nothing to do at the pool; balls and mattresses are not allowed inside, which we find perfect. Children are only allowed in the Spa from 3 pm onwards if they are quiet, but we don't quite understand why, as that peace is disturbed by noise, shouting, and running back and forth, so we really don't see the added value of that for the clientele seeking peace and quiet. Respectful clientele; naturally, there are the occasional troublemaker here and there who shows no respect, but they also sense that they don't belong here. And sometimes they are rightly called out on it......Great staff too. And always a pleasure to come back. 😊 Frans Baars and Ingrid Coremans from Belgium
This was our first visit to Majorca and we're so glad we chose Hotel Es Port. A very atmospheric and historic building set in lovely grounds but just a short walk to the bustle of the harbour through the 'back' gate. Our room was in the more modern part of the building and was clean, comfortable with a nice bathroom and great shower. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and added to the very positive experience. We were especially grateful to the front of house team who sorted out a late checkout for us and enabled us to keep our room. The quality of the food was excellent and we opted for 5 nights half-board with a varied menu and buffet every day. special mention for the quality of the fish cookery. Our only comment was that it would have been nice to have a complimentary bottle of water in the room every day or a water station somewhere in the hotel to refill bottles, but that's a minor issue in what what a fab stay and wonderful introduction to Majorca. We will be back!
We've stayed here about six times now, and it just gets better. The setting is relaxing and beautiful - every corner of the grounds seems to have a delightful spot to sit (and perhaps enjoy a glass!). We've sampled several types of room, all very good, though the historic building is our favourite. The location is excellent, ideally situated for access to the bay, to walking trails and to buses to Palma and elsewhere. Breakfast has everything you could think of, and service throughout the hotel is efficient and friendly. We've already booked to return and can't wait!
The history, the view, the pool area. Breakfast was good.
The bed was hard. Soundproofing from the corridors (people passing by and you can hear them) main courses in restaurant poor.
We loved this hotel. The old parts of the hotel are beautiful with some interesting historic features like the old olive press and vaulted rooms to explore. Our room was in the newer part of the hotel and was very spacious and simply but well furnished, with a big comfortable bed and modern bathroom with a large shower unit. The balcony was a decent size and overlooked the garden area outside the spa, The views from there were lovely, of the hills beyond the hotel grounds with hardly a building in sight. It is just a short walk to the sea front / beach / marina area where there are plenty of good restaurants and cafes. We only ate at the hotel one evening, in the main restaurant, which was good. But we had breakfast there each morning where there was a good quality buffer with plenty of choice. We used the spa area a fair bit (ie the indoor pool, jacuzzi, etc which was included in the room rate) and it always felt like a real treat as is was never busy, and there were always plenty of sun beds outside in the gardens - most guests seemed to use the lower swimming pool area which was busier and had more urban views so was less to our taste but still nice. Staff were always friendly and efficient.
Die Lage ist top
Wir hatten leider keine Terasse
An absolutely beautiful property. The main house is stunning. Beautiful pool and gardens. Staff all incredibly helpful and friendly. Great location with just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and all of the restaurants of Port de Soller. Gorgeous terrace for a pre dinner drink. Good breakfast with plentiful options and lovely outdoor terrace.
The double rooms were a little bit more basic than expected, in design and comfort (two hard singles pushed together), and don’t look like the pictures used for advertising (these are the limited suites in the main historic house). They were perfectly fine but for the price point and the decor of everything else, our rooms were a bit drab and underwhelming. I’d still really recommend the hotel as the rest of it is just gorgeous.
Location and the grounds looked nice
Cost and the size of thr rooms
We have been to this super hotel several times and love the location and friendly staff. Being so close to the beach and buzzing seafront, yet set in lunch, tranquil gardens makes it pretty unique. The outdoor gym is a joke. One static bike, one elliptical trainer (which is broken), and three or four hand weights. Two dirty floor mats. The breakfast is very average for a four star hotel. Frozen berries are inexcusable when you see the amazing fresh produce available on the island.
What's to love: - Friendly front desk. The man who checked me in walked me to my room and brought my luggage. The woman who checked me out ordered a taxi for me - Beautiful view of trees and hills from my room (338: I recommend that side of the building) - Terrace. Lulling sounds of birds chirping - Excellent location. Shops, travel medicine clinic, restaurants, and hiking nearby - Shampoo, conditioner, lotion. Good shower pressure; hot water. Room was clean, dark at night. Quiet mini fridge - Strong WiFi. Extends to pool area - Impressive breakfast buffet (I recommend the French omelet) - Helena, who works mornings in the restaurant, is as efficient as ever. Glad to see she's still there. (She impressed me when I was there in 2021) - Drinking water readily available - Multiple outdoor spaces for lounging - Weekly manager's cocktail reception Room for improvement: - Can't think of anything
Da historia do hotel, da decoração, da piscina, da localização, da paisagem, da zona envolvente, da comida, especialmente borrego na 2a feira, pato e corvina na 5a feira. Perfeito
Beste Lage in Port de Soller und 10/10 Frühstück. Die Hotel Anlage ist wie in einer anderen Welt.
Loved the charm. Breakfasts were excellent Pool was great. Able to relax. Loved indoor pool and surroundings Would definitely come here again
Lot of steps. Have a little arthritis so walking around a little difficult Disappointed with Sa figuera restaurant
Great location not far away from the hustle and bustle but feels secluded surrounded by beautiful ground/garden
Loud and rude guests on one day by the pool and evening but I do understand this is a people/guest issue and not a hotel issue
Loved everything
