No idea an App needed to be downloaded to a ccesss a door code . No reception. No humans assisting you . De messages in the App are answered by a booth . If you are in trouble no one answers the phone . The rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor and has no elevator . Room had no windows . Clean comes only if you request . The location is good it’s like a hostel I used to stay when I was 20’s .

Water in shower took ten minutes to get hot.

Everything worked in the room. Very clean and well maintained facility. Access code worked. Small but efficiently appointed room. Met my needs. Good shower. Convenient location on busy business street. Access to public transit.

Check-in at 4 pm is too late. Better at 3 pm or even 2 pm. No staff on premises in the afternoon. No place to store luggage if one arrived before check-in. Who do you contact if there is a problem? Stairs without an elevator is a problem for seniors or those with limitations. Don't come with lots of luggage.

We had a great stay at The Beverley Hotel Queen West, Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy. The location on Queen West is unbeatable, and our room was spacious with a great view, a comfy bed and sofa, and a large bathroom. The rooftop terrace was a cute bonus! While there’s no staff onsite, the self-check-in process was smooth and the instructions were clear. Would definitely stay again.

It was easy to check in - I was sent a code and I could use that to access both the building and my room. I prefer that to carrying a key around. The upstairs balcony area was quite nice too.

Unfortunately, to have the room serviced at all required a charge, which was not ideal as I was staying there for a week. There were ants in my bathroom. The lack of reception was a shame as I had flown in from abroad and could have used some help upon arriving. I believe a bar in the upstairs balcony area was advertised but it wasn't staffed at all in the week I was there, and smoking is also not allowed up there. Rooms are very small.

Loved the location, the cleanliness of the room, and the cute rooftop. Also loved the unexpected mini fridge and coffee and tea makers.

It was kind of expensive for such a small room.

hotel vicino abbastanza vicino al centro e quindi con prezzo competitivo. è tutto on line, fai il check in e ti arrivano le indicazioni per accedere. per prendere l'ascensore, che è super lento!, devi entrare al bar sotto (aperto dalle 8 alle 20) quindi se si arriva dopo bisogna fare le ripide scale. la camera è piccolissima, ci sono 60 cm intorno al letto, lavandino in camera ed il bagno è composto da wc e doccia, con una porta scorrevole che garantisce poca privacy. servizio on line super efficiente, ho chiesto un info inerente al check in e mi hanno risposto in tempi brevissimi

Chambre avec matériaux récents et modernes, différents types d rangements, qualité de la literie, produits dans la douche en grande quantité et de bonne qualité.

L’appareil de climatisation faisait un bruit très fort aux 20 minutes. Pas de réelle fenêtre, seulement un puis de lumière. Hauteur de la télévision qui demandait une bascule de la tête vers l’arrière et donnait ainsi mal au cou. Trois jours avant mon séjour on m’annonce que j’aurai un lit double au lieu de Queen comme j’avais réservé il y a trois mois.

The location is excellent. The cleanliness and facilities are adequate and in good condition. Everything is functional. I liked the key system and the access solely through the use of the application.

At the beginning, it was not very clear that there was no front desk and that there is no elevator. Nothing critical.

It’s incredibly small. The sink is in the room, outside de washroom. It’s so tiny that I could literally hear everything that my partner was doing in the bathroom. For the price, it’s just too small. There is no reception or parking lot.

Great Location! I love the location, walk to everything, restaurants all around you, close to public transport, walking distance to Rogers Center. I didn't think that was good value because it cost me over $300 for one night and it was a super tiny room with no window, but it was clean, fresh, modern, nice, and well located and I liked opening the door with the app on my phone.

Das Zimmer war nicht gemacht. Wir haben das Check in online gemacht und kanen nach Mitternacht an. Die Koffer mussten wir über schmale Treppen 2 Stockwerke hoch schleppen.

Super Lage auf der Queens West. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen, Metro in der Nähe.

Das Haus und auch die Zimmerausstattung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das ist auf den Fotos nicht zu erkennen. Der Lift von der Kneipe unten kann nur benutzt werden wenn diese auch geöffnet hat. Also schon mal nicht zur Abreise. Treppenhaus sehr muffig, abgestandener Geruch aus der Kneipe.

I had to climb 4 flights of stairs with my luggage to the room, as the elevator for luggage was locked. There was no window in the room which the website states but as I booked on booking.com I did not notice. I could not check in remotely and had to call the virtual assistant which was a bit of a wait. It was also very expensive for the size and limitations of the property.

Aircon was so loud it kept us awake, the room had no windows so the aircon was essential.

Poorly maintained, shower door in my unit was not hinged properly. The air conditioning was making a lot of noise even when turned off, enough to wake me up from my sleep. Door locks would glitch and take 3-4 tries each time. Just a really bad experience.

the ac unit beeped nonstop for the entire duration of our stay, making sleeping unenjoyable as it kept waking us up and made it hard to get rest. the rooms were extremely small. My partner and I had to go into the room and make space as the door opened right into the bed, so there was no space to walk past. for the price charged, the room was far too small with minimal amenities. in the end, we may have been unlucky, but the overall experience was poor, and I doubt we will be staying unless it's a last resort.

Room compact and windowless but well designed and had plenty of cupboard space plus decent toiletries and tea/coffee, fridge etc.

Soulless and street outside bit skanky. Code for corridor didn’t work immediately which made me nervous for the rest of my stay, I feared being denied access. They say there’s 24hr support but at night there was a 3 hour wait for a response. Very much relies on a charged up phone. I won’t stay in this type of no human contact on premises again, it’s not really a hotel but charges as if it was.

Shower was tiny and leaked. AC was also very loud and let out an intermittent loud thumping sound even during the night. Roof was not really set up, not great for hanging out. App needs work, cannot add to my existing Sonder account so had to input the confirmation code every time I wanted to use it.

No staff/ reception to talk too all through email. Sheet was dirty, windows were dirty , colstophobic . Not the pictures they use on site. Old rickty lift through the down stairs resturant. Smell of rank food as going up to room and down. Towells above toilet to fall down loo if not lucky to catch or put seat down. No Plug in sink and did t drain properly. Telly above bed can be head butted and not convient. No room safe. And dear for what it was. More like a hostle than hotel

The room and location were great. The unit was as expected.

What was not great is that I arrived earlier than my 4:00 p.m. check-in. There was no staff to check-in with. I specifically did not want to do the online verification . . . I'm just weird about having my I.D. floating around (regardless of the promised cyber security), I spoke with an agent and he assured me I could check-in in person when I arrived. But there was no front desk and no one to talk to! I also did not know there was an elevator (its in the restaurant, never thought to check there). I'm 70 years old and had to hump a heavy suitcase up a very long flight of stairs. As I arrived early (at 3:05), to check-in early it would have cost an additional $56.00. So I sat in the hallway. However, your agent on the chat was able to let me in to the room at about 3:40 p.m. I did appreciate that. So be very careful when selecting your intended arrival time. And be aware that there is no one on site at this property to help you or answer questions.

Incredibly noisy air conditioner - every 20-60minutes it makes a loud rattling sound that lasts for ~30 seconds and it will DEFINITELY wake you up even with the white noise machine (provided by the hotel) and my personal sound proofing earbuds. I ended up staying up from 2am to 4am messaging the "24/7" Sonder staff but their replies can take a while and I complained about the noise just before midnight with no response. Only when it woke me up again at 2am did I message again to get a response. The hotel is actually aware of this noisy problem (stated in private policy) and says it's normal and every room will sound like this, therefore no room change/upgrade is offered. After much persistence did they provide a $150 coupon which can't even be used to pay for room service $70 CAD so this voucher will go to waste because I will never book at Sonder again. I would've thought that for our 7 day booking they would offer complimentary room service because by the first day the small boxed room is so humid and there is no way to air it out. All the clean towels and your clothes will smell the same. We cancelled our reservation early and needed to treat ourselves to a luxury hotel instead.

Had such a lovely one night stay here! Space was clean, check in was incredibly easy, location is great and it is located right around the corner from an overnight $25 parking. Would definitely book here again

The room was fantastic but the TV was much too large and hanging in a dangerous position obstructing the walkway, the AC was covered in dust and triggered allergies (the windows don’t open) in both of us when on - as well as making a loud rumbling noise when off. The side tables were very sticky…the bed was so creaky it made a loud noise when we put a little clothing down on it Nice view

We had a great stay and had all we wanted. Room was very nice size with nice view of the outside. Easy to get in and out with the app. Even on a busy street they provide a white noise machine in the room so we slept very well.

Our window faced a wall but we were unable to open to allow fresh air in. Our aircon was on, it made a terrible noise every 2ish hours - when I contacted through the app was told and included video evidence I was told that they would “send a white noise machine and ear plugs” which never arrived. They said that they would send maintenance to look - who arrived 24 hrs later and explained the issue. However the noise kept happening. The rooftop was also shut off even though it was 20+ degrees outside.

The service with the app is super slow and long. You can only make changes to the reservation with the AI operator and that complicated a lot the process. No Lobby, nowhere to leave luggage if needed and check in time is at 4pm, an hour after every other hotels. Room is tiny and expensive for what you got.

Best thing about the room was the Nespresso machine. Otherwise very small but clean.

The Sonder Beverly on Queen St W was a great option for staying in while visiting friends in the city. Parking is available down the block, below the MEC, and the neighbourhood is full of great restaurants and shops if you want to experience the city. It’s right on the streetcar line, and a few blocks from the subway station, so getting around town is easy as well, though, a lot of the tourist stuff is within easy walking distance, from the AGO, to Roger’s Centre, Scotiabank Arena, CityTV Studios, CBC’s Glenn Gould Studio, and so on. Highly recommend it for a no fuss weekend city visit!

There is no reception. Everything is online. This was not clear when booked. Access is either via a set of stairs or an ancient, very confined and exceptionally slow elevator which is accessed via the cafe on the ground floor. There are no keys. Your room is accessed by a key-code punched into the door lock. Again this is accessed online. The same code is required for access to the building when the cafe is closed and the door at each level. The room we had was small. No cats were harmed as there was not room to swing one. We had a window onto the graffiti covered fire escape. As there was no room safe this added to our security worries. The sink is in the main room and has no plug. It refused to drain until I used the palm of my hand, plunger like, to create a clearing suction. This was not a singular occurance. Towels are hung on a rack above the toilet, so if you neglected to put the seat fully down there was a danger of your towel dropping in the pan. Quite a thing as the room was not serviced once in our 4 night stay. The bottom sheet was marked. Thankfully it was warm and we could sleep on the top sheet with the duvet as a cover. The toilet itself is behind a glass panel and sliding door that does not fully cover the gap. So you had better be comfortable watching and listening to your other half having a poo. There was no chair in our room so I ended up sitting on the loo with the seat down. You can hear what is going on in all the rooms around you. The shower is good and powerful but there is no extraction, so the condensation and humidity goes into the room. I was not in any of the other rooms on the floor, but I suspect from the building layout that most do not have a window. The mattress was comfortable enough but the pillows were soft to non-existent. The location is excellent but there are proper hotels nearby with full facilities for not a lot more.

The location was very central ! The amenities were lacking - no extra toilet paper - not very clean. Overall - it served its purpose.

I knew the room would be small but didn't realize there was no exterior window. Instead there is a window to a stairwell. The tv is mounted to the ceiling and has a green light that shines when turned off. Overall the room felt stuffy, unsafe, and too uncomfortable to sleep. The rooms are very much not sound proof. I couldn't find the luggage storage and the information on the app suggested it was not actually onsite and was not free. Overall, despite the location this place is not worth the price.

The space is nice with a large bathroom and shower. Comfortable bed. Two suggestions for improvement: 1) the faucet in the bathroom sink flows with a dribble… very little pressure. Shower is fine. 2) the flatscreen TV is both non functional and a hazard for banging your head at night. Suggest moving or removing completely. Otherwise, we found unit 41 comfortable and good value with 4th floor view of Queen St. W.

Amazing location right on Queen Street West, lots of food and shopping in walking distance, and not far from the subway. Check-in via code was a breeze and gave us flexibility and freedom.

I absolutely love Sonder and have stayed at multiple locations. This Sonder was very different from the others. The room had been poorly cared for over the years. My room also had the strongest smell of bleach throughout my stay. Also, I extended my checkout by a hour and room service still came to my door and demanded proof. My assigned room was also facing, Queen St, which is an extremely busy street with traffic and bars. I didn’t go to sleep until 2am. This place is a great option if you plan on partying and exploring Queen Street.

For a quick crash pad between meetings this was fine. It felt a little like a college dorm room. They made good use of the space. The shower was a little difficult to figure out, but good water pressure.
