The only negative was that the washing machines were old twin tubs. I just walked to the corner and had my laundry done beautifully. 4,200 real (US$1.05) for 1.4 kilos. (Of course I tipped.)

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The outdoor common areas, such as the pool, the eating area, and the lounge, were very nice. The location was also very good. It was a few blocks from the river promenade, with many stores, restaurants, and a market nearby. The area was also quiet. The staff was very friendly and was always available if I needed something.
I'm the lounge area, the pool table was crusty, musty, dusty.

Nous avions réservé pour 3 mais les équipements étaient prévus pour 2. Pas de passage en chambre donc besoin d’aller demander des services à la réception tous les jours (linge, papier toilette). Pas assez de savon (1 échantillon pour 3 pour 2 nuits). Nous avions l’air d’être les seuls dans l’hôtel et pourtant nous avons eu la chambre excentrée et à côté des rails du train.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026L'emplacement. Le cadre intime et arboré avec des espaces agréables pour se poser, manger : cour intérieure, piscine, végétation, La taille des chambres, décoration générale. Le fait qu'il soit bien adapté aux enfants : décoration, balançoire...
Le fait qu'un tuc-tuc vienne nous chercher au bus sans être prévenu et sans savoir comment l'hôtel avait connaissance de notre horaire et mode d'arrivée. L'eau de la piscine trop abrasive. L'hotel mériterait une petite réfection car l'ensemble est très beau.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026We loved the pool and used it a lot as it is conveniently right outside the rooms if you are on the ground floor. Location is good within easy walking distance to restaurants.
The rooms are very dated and with a bit of sprucing up could be a lot more comfortable. No luxury here but basics are covered. All the signs and rules feel a bit unnecessary and off putting. If the TV has a problem (all TV’s it seems) remove them don’t just put up a sign!

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Such lovely people. We received a warm welcome and had a peaceful stay. The room was really spacious and clean. My friend forgot her iPhone after we checked out. We didn't even realise it until we saw one of the hotel staff riding a bicycle after us to hand over the iPhone. The fact that we were already in a tuktuk, almost 5 minutes away from the hotel, shows how determined the staff was to get the iPhone to us. Would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Lovely small hotel close to many cafes and such. Walking distance. Great pool , large and clean, really enjoyed the break from the heat here. Good service as well. Small coffee shop attached to hotel that also had two breakfast options.
The room was neat and clean, a little on the darker side in terms of decor. There is a train behind the hotel but it did not disturb me much.

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026The buildings, pool, and overall setting are beautiful we couldn’t have been happier. Our room was very spacious and the location made getting around Battambang very easy, also close to restaurants and central market. The staff were all lovely and helpful.
Mosquito nets over the beds would be useful as we were bitten quite a bit, but other than that we loved the place and would happily stay again

There is a Wing bank just up the road that can change USD into local currency and give change. The restaurant at the front was good and we used it a few times for breakfast.

Les petites terrasses individuelles pour se poser qui préservent l'intimité L'eau chaude et un rideau dans la douche ce qui est assez rare. L'emplacement est proche de la ville tout en étant à l'écart La gentillesse de l'accueil et du responsable de l'hôtel qui m'a offert une écharpe au moment du départ ce qui m'a touché.
Un train passe rarement notamment à 8h15 le matin tout à côté de l'hôtel Des fumées dues à un feu de détritus proche de l'hôtel un soir

No shower curtain (shower over the bath): so a lot of water went from the back edge of the bath and flooded the floor. Ants on the bed. Air con was quite weak (air flow) and could not alter the fan speed - luckily the room temperature was not too hot. Difficult to communicate with the 'manager' his level of English not the best, although it was ok.

Reviewed Nov 22, 2025Bed and room was comfortable after the trains had passed. Think ‘My cousin Vinny’ film and you get the idea as trains run both at 11.30pm and 5.15am.
The pool area was not mopped for the duration of our stay and looked grim. All the rooms in the complex open onto the pool area and so there is a lot of foot traffic around this part. It really could do with better focus here.

The Hotel was damp and lots of mosquitoes, The room smelt and couldn’t get AC to work . There was a broken chair and a mouldy shower curtain . The road outside was being dug up ( not their fault ) It was fine if you are a backpacker as pool was nice . We found a much more friendly Hotel nearby to move to .

Reviewed Nov 18, 2025A small hotel but with probably the friendliest staff ever! We were made to so welcome. The rooms, grounds and swimming pool are so clean. There are free bananas and the cold beer is at a sensible price.
Disappointed by the lack of any restaurant facilities at the hotel. Booking.com had clearly stated that there wre no meal options but we anticipated something would be there. However, the RR cafe is just outside and the excellent 'The Caff' is two minutes walk away.

De eerste avond zag ik een grote kakkerlak onder het bed uit rennen. Toen ik deze wilde doodden vond ik ook een dode kakkerlak onder een stoel op de vloer. Dit zegt mij dat er alleen oppervlakkig wordt schoongemaakt, anders had je die dode echt wel gezien en weggeveegd. Eerste avond geen warm water uit douche. Gelukkig de 2e en 3e wel. Bij aankomst vond ik een vieze (nat geweest) wc-rol. Dit check je als poetsvrouw toch ook lijkt me. Tevens is er alleen een regendouche en geen handdouche.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2025Location is great. The pool is excellent. The staff helped us with a very affordable and large taxi to Siem Reap. The Family Roasters are located nearby for high quality drinks and the Caff for an absolutely outstanding breakfast. This is such a high level of breakfast and just next door.
The style of the hotel is somewhat dark with heavy wooden chairs and decorations. We also had some ants as visitors. It's no the most cozy place. Please note the Royal Cambodian Railway just next to the hotel. There are only a couple of trains a day, so you will not be bothered that much. The premises next door had a motor or some sort of engine going on all night, and it desperately needed oil.
