The window is not sealed properly at all — you can literally feel the wind coming through. The room facing the road/pavement is also very noisy. On top of that, you are required to provide your bank account details for a security deposit, which I found completely unreasonable.

Huone oli brittiläiseen tapaan pieni. Huoneessa ei ollut jääkaappia. Lämpimällä ilmalla huone on lämmin, mutta ikkunan sai auki. Liikenteen äänet kuuluu, mutta niin suurkaupungissa voi olettaakin.

L'accueil, la literie, bien desservi en transport (3 bus et rer à côté et métro à 15min à pied ou moins en bus). Passage dans les chambres tous les jours et changement des serviettes tous les 2 jours.

Si on est côté rue la rue est assez bruyante, prévoir les boules quies.

Stayed here around 5 times now for the London to Brighton cycle ride. Ideal location. Basic accommodation but clean and feels safe. Noisy due to the road, being on a flight path and the drive through next door but can’t fault it for convenience. Very easy access in and out.

Easy check-in and check-out. Room was very “functional”. Didn’t expect anything more for the price.

The bed had wheels and when I moved, the bed moved during the night and I couldn’t find the lock for the wheels. My stay was in the neighbouring building and it was pretty noisy with guests even after 12am. Probably that’s to be expected of compact spaces with so many rooms cramped in.

Terrible stay. Do not recommend. Don't stay here in summer or winter as there's no air conditioning and no heating. They provided a desk fan to cool the room which was as big as your hand. The window couldn't be opened as it was a ground floor room and it opened onto the streets where people stood around outside all night.

The property was spotlessly clean with great facilities in the room. The rooms we were given were comfortable and a good size. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We booked 2 rooms which were in separate buildings which was a bit inconvenient as we stayed as a family. Would have liked a bottle of water in the room.

It was clean. Nice and cosy. The location was so good everythjng was there.

It was way too hot and they only one small pedastal fan in a room of two single beds. The room was not comfortable in day time as the fan was not enough. But it was fine at night times.

Easy book in process and friendly, welcoming staff. Easy to get to by bus from central London (though quite a long journey at times.) Comfy twin room in the main guest house with good WiFi and a good selection of hot drinks, cups and kettle. Good ensuite bathroom. Visited during heatwave but a fan was provided in room and we were generally comfortable. There is no food provision but we were recommended a local cafe - Fergani - and got a discount on the food from a flyer at reception. We also visited the Beijing Dragon Restaurant down the road - simple food but great service and incredible value for money. We had a fried rice and a chow mein dish without starters and left feeling very full with change from a £20 note. We stayed two nights and our towels were replaced and room tidied in time for the second night. Very happy with the standard of cleaning. An additional bathroom shower room is available as well as the en suite, which was reassuring.

Gostámos da localização, pois tem uma paragem de autocarro logo do outro lado da rua. Tem também um McDonald's mesmo ao lado das instalações. O quarto era confortável, principalmente os colchões, assim como a casa-de-banho, que também era limpa.

Quando efetuámos a reserva, e talvez por distração, não nos apercebemos que os quartos ficavam num edifício ao lado e não no edifício onde se encontra a receção. Embora tenha corrido tudo bem e não tenhamos tido qualquer tipo de problema, causou alguma estranheza a nível de segurança, principalmente porque ficámos no piso de baixo, e a única janela existente, quando aberta, dá acesso para uma espécie de terraço frequentado pelos funcionários.

Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre mais impossible de car l'hôtel était complet. Le service client de Booking est décevant : suite à notre demande de compensation, aucune réponse ne nous a été apportée. Nous sommes livrés à nous-mêmes en cas de litige. Je ne réserverai plus via Booking.

Struttura molto semplice ed essenziale ma adeguata per un soggiorno a Londra. La posizione è ottima, di fronte c’è una fermata di un pullman che parte direttamente dal centro di Londra e di conseguenza anche quella che vi ci porta nella direzione opposta. Staff molto disponibile, quando siamo arrivati (prima dell’orario del check-in) la stanza era pronta e ci hanno consentito di accedervi in anticipo. Stanza abbastanza grande e pulita con tutti i comfort.

Sarebbe stato utile avere un mini frigo in stanza.

As soon as we walked in could smell and see how clean the room was. It was all very fresh including the bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and really big with clean sheets. Free WiFi worked perfectly and connected instantly. Luggage storage was really helpful on checkout day. 24hr access was also useful after returning later at night. Location was good for what we were visiting for with buses and tube stations nearby. Appreciated the tea and coffee facilities with biscuits. Lots of plug sockets, and my partner loved the hairdryer and sockets near the full length mirror, which many hotels don’t consider.

We visited during a heatwave, which the hotel obviously has no direct control over. However the only fan provided was the cheapest, most basic model available. which was noisy and just blows hot air from across the room. This resulted in us having to open the window, which then meant we were hit with the flood lights from the building across the street, and the noise from the busy London traffic active throughout the night. We felt this could have been avoided with a modern higher range, quiet fan available nowadays. So overall we didn’t sleep well at all, which is the main thing you need in a hotel. The guide book in the room was good, but it would have been useful if it included a breakfast specific page on nearby options rather than just general restaurants.

Struttura molto pulita, ben collegata con bus e metro, personale professionale ed accogliente.

La ubicación, el barrio está en una zona que dispones de casi todo, y para ser Londres todo estaba muy limpio. Las comunicaciones a pesar de no tener el metro muy cerca están muy bien con los autobuses.

La habitación era literalmente un pasillo, lo que para estar en la misma sin estar en la cama era muy complicado con una mesa arrinconada sin espacio. La placa de ducha me pareció muy peligrosa, resbalaba mucho y además un poco alta lo que hacia de su acceso peligroso. Además no habría sitio para colgar las toallas ni una mínima repisa para poner los enseres del baño. La ventana daba al acceso del parking del McDonald's que abre todas la noche y el trasiego es bastante molesto, además de que no tienes intimidad o tienes que tener la ventana siempre cerrada o tapada. Hemos hechado en falta un lugar en el que estar que no fuera la propia habitación como una sala o una simple mesa en un patio o similar.

El baño de la habitación "doble superior Deluxe" es más propio de un Hostel o de un albergue. Apenas se cabía en la ducha, y el lavabo era minúsculo. Sabíamos que los estándares de calidad de los hoteles en Londres no son los de España, pues un hotel con categoría de 3* no debería ofrecer ese tipo de baños, dejan bastante que desear.

When we arrived, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were early getting there (our fault!), but they kindly stored our luggage safely until we could check in, which meant we could go out and enjoy ourselves without having to carry our bags around. The rooms were exactly as described and very clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable and easy stay. The beds and pillows were really comfy too. We booked both a triple and a double room, and both were excellent. The only thing worth mentioning is that the stairs are quite steep, so they may not be suitable for guests who struggle with stairs. Other than that, we genuinely can’t fault the place. We were completely happy with our stay, from the staff to the rooms, and would happily recommend it.

l'hotel si presenta molto bene: si trova in una posizione molto ottimale in quanto tranquilla e ben servita da tre autobus che ti permettono di raggiungere quasi tutta la città in poco tempo grazie anche alle varie coincidenze. inoltre massima pulizia. ogni singolo punto dell'hotel era molto curato, non vi erano punti trascurati sia nella stanza sia nel bagno è nella struttura in generale. da non sottovalutare il McDonald's proprio accanto.

i punti negativi di questo albergo: - totale assenza di aria condizionata. - totale assenza di ascensore e dal momento che noi eravamo al terzo piano al ritorno pesava. - dimensioni abbastanza restrittive della stanza e bisogna stare attenti a muoversi, altrimenti si sbatte l'uno con l'altro. - almeno per me, cioè per la mia stanza la doccia non era il massimo in quanto l'acqua scorreva lentamente e una mattina è venuta pure a mancare.

Unfortunately there wasn’t much to like about, It was bog standard, and not value for money. Room was very out dated.

Having given a room on the ground floor, My slide up and down window was faulty and couldn’t lock. Even when maintenance was called, They failed to repair it. And they couldn’t find me another room. So you could imagine not having a pleasant sleep.

We stayed at Chelsea Guest House and chose this accommodation mainly because it advertised private parking. Unfortunately, this turned into a significant issue. Although parking is shown as available, it must be booked separately — something that was not clear during the booking process. The property contacted me via the booking.com chat, but I did not see the message, and when we arrived, no parking space was available. This resulted in a very stressful situation: I had to leave my baby and partner at the guest house and search for parking elsewhere for a long time before finally finding a private spot. Apart from the parking problem, the room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location is convenient with good transport connections. However, because the misleading parking information can easily affect other travellers as well, my overall rating is 2.

The property was obviously a college or some sort of facility with dorm rooms. They attempted to convert it into hotel rooms. The rooms are to small; a shower is in the tiny room, but not a toilet. You have to leave your room and use a shared communal toilet. No air conditioning, so you have to open window to cool room. There was a consistent breeze so there was relief from the heat, however, there is a McDonald’s next door. You can clearly see the McDonald’s patrons extremely well in detail, and they can see you. Additionally, there was the smell of burning fry oil from the McDonald’s. No ice or refrigeration any were in building. I haven’t slept in a bed that tiny since college. It’s a poorly converted dorm room, but they charge you as if it’s a real hotel room

I chose to stay at the hotel for the convenience of it's location, decent price and the fact it had gated security parking. Upon arriving and requesting the parking I was only given the option of parking out the front of the establishment which I was guaranteed is watched 24/7 by reception. Though that is a useful element that was not what I was looking for. When I queried about the gated parking I was told with hesitation that 'it is umm under refurbishment" which I totally understand and respect but wondered why it wasn't informed to me when booking. Which I asked about and got a response "oh the website mustn't of been updated do U want the parking or?" Which obviously I agreed on with no other choice after a 3.5 hour drive. The only other thing I could pick up on the there is no second factor of security in the rooms. Only a bolt lock which isn't the most secure. No chain or door stopper. So for any younger guests or vulnerable people it might feel unsafe. I don't like to leave comments like this as I curse people who do it but as a fellow worker of hospitality and a manager of a hotel, I just want to pass on some constructive things and would appreciate some form of gesture towards a not amazing experience.

Que reservamos una habitación que aparecía en las fotos y en la descripción de una manera y al llegar nos dieron una mucho más pequeña. Al reclamar nos dijeron que eran todas iguales, con lo que la foto de la reserva entonces no es real. Booking nos aconsejó telefónicamente que durmiéramos la primera noche y que al día siguiente hiciéramos la salida, y que nos devolverían el resto de los días. Así lo hicimos y cuando ya estábamos fuera nos comunican que no han podido llegar a un acuerdo con el alojamiento. Por tanto, perdimos casi 1000€.y nos quedamos en la calle. Booking nos ofrece una compensación de 200€ y listo. Así que la experiencia ha sido nefasta y espero que a nadie vuelva a pasarle

Pro kvalitnější intimní hygienu by byla lepší ruční sprcha, než zabudovaná hlavice s deštěm. A jelikož jsme zde byli ubytovaní týden, ocenili bychom i malou ledničku.

First, I want to emphasize that this review reflects only my personal experience. What didn’t work for me may be perfectly suitable for someone else. I also have some specific health concerns that made this stay more challenging than it might be for the average traveler. I’m sharing my experience in case it helps others in similar circumstances. When we arrived, there was an altercation at the entrance that required police intervention. This was obviously not the hotel’s fault, but it did contribute to an uneasy first impression, especially given that the surrounding neighborhood already appeared somewhat worn. I understand that every area has its challenges, and I don’t hold the hotel responsible for what happened, but witnessing an arrest upon arrival certainly wasn’t the most welcoming start to our stay. On the positive side, the location is convenient. It’s situated next to two bus stops with easy access to central London. I especially recommend the 87 bus toward Trafalgar Square, which made getting around the city simple and efficient. In fairness to the staff, I recognize they were dealing with an unusually difficult day, and I suspect those circumstances affected our interactions. Unfortunately, my experience became much more difficult once a health issue arose. Like many older, independently operated hotels in Europe, the property does not have air conditioning. Normally, that wouldn’t be a major concern for me, but the lack of air circulation unexpectedly triggered an asthma attack. I acknowledge that I should have researched this more thoroughly beforehand because this is rarely an issue for me. When I explained the situation and asked whether there were any possible accommodations or, failing that, a refund so I could relocate somewhere with better ventilation, I was disappointed by the response. I understand that company policies often bind staff members; they cannot change, and I don’t fault them for following those policies. What concerned me more was how the situation was handled. My concerns felt dismissed rather than genuinely acknowledged. The staff assured me that management would respond within 24 hours, but I didn’t receive a reply for more than a week. Given that the matter involved a medical issue and was time-sensitive, the lack of timely communication was frustrating. I genuinely think that, during the cooler months of autumn, winter, or spring, this could be a charming little inn. The rooms are admittedly small, as is common in many older European properties. I also noticed some cleanliness issues, including finding hair in the room before we had even unpacked. Ultimately, my biggest disappointment wasn’t the lack of air conditioning or even the hotel’s policies. It was the way my concerns were handled. A more empathetic response and clearer communication would have gone a long way toward improving what was otherwise a very difficult experience.

Very clean and well-maintained facility with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in a quiet yet convenient location, just a short walk from the metro station. We arrived before check-in, and the front desk kindly stored our luggage free of charge. They also went above and beyond by helping us ship back the items we accidentally left behind. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others.

Booked this guest house for one night, easy to find on the bus from the coach station. The staff were very friendly. Our room was 101, not facing the street but the fire escape, we weren't bothered about the view, the room was tidy, beds & pillows very comfy & a lovely bathroom, the small fan did help keep the room cooler, all in all we had a good night, would definitely recommend & it's only 30 mins on the no 87 bus to Trafalgar Square & it's a 24 hours bus. 😊
