Everything was good, easy to find. Customer service was spot on.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Was just perfect for a family with kids. So much space and the soa bath was a bonus! Beautiful grounds all around and cute villas and comfy beds. Total value for money compared to everywhere else I looked at. Even managed to find a track down the road that led me right through the bush on a walk to Huka Falls. Was just lovely and would highly recommend. Will definitely come back again one day!

My only possible complaint was the water pressure in spa bath was very slow and took a long time to fill. But that was a minor thing. Everything else was perfect!

The bed was comfy

The bathroom was yuck it had rust and mold around the bath taps. The bath had cracks with yuck brown tape on it. The shower water came out over the bath so my daughter couldn't have a shower and she refused to have a bath cause the tape grossed her out. There was only enough hot water to fill the bath halfway. No wifi as it couldn't reach place phone reception was shit too.

We just arrived and we have been locked out of our bathroom in our Villa at Huka Falls Resort in Taupō. We can’t get into our bathroom!!! I have tried to call the after hours but each time it went straight to voicemail!!!

lcation is really good

The location is excellent, but the property feels dated due to the outdated furniture and facilities. In addition, the spa was not operational. These were the main reasons for my lower rating.

This was a cute cosy little stay. Good for a quick stop.

The toilet seat in our room (30b) was hanging on for dear life, needs a tighten and right above the bed in a non-reachable location was a big spider. Otherwise loved it!

Reception friendly, welcoming, and helpful. House keepers are lovely ladies. Pricing and location or great. Villas are very clean and tidy. Great parking available.

For someone who travels quite often, around NZ, I notice small things, nothing major. Broken shelving in frindge, kitchen maybe extra power points, and utensils that could be provided for a 2brm Villa. Also, a sign at the front that stands out where the name is bigger than the speed limit would be helpful for first-time guests. Bed mattresses could be replaced.

Comfortable bed and great shower

The TV remote didn't work, only 1 chair in the room and no small table. Our cutlery and crockery were missing eg 1 b/butter plate and 1 bowl, made it difficult. Worst was the toilet seat was not fastened correctly. Not a very good night all round. Outside the villas need maintenance.

Liked the quiet area and the spacious living room.

Unfortunately the bathrooms are quite outdated. The heat lamp did not work and despite following the jacuzzi bath instructions that did not work either.

Very spacious rooms, everything you need. Easy check-in and out. Loved having heaps of space to spread out. Cozy rooms even if a bit old.

Could have better hot water 🚿 system, shower was very touchy. Also sticky coffee table, most things in the food preparation area needs a deep clean. Could see through the connecting door to other unit, which is definitely not right as a guest arrived late in there.

Clean, near by to town, safe, open outdoor space for kids to roqm freely, friendly staff and communication was all handled well. Previously we stayed there was no heating in the room we stayed in but yhis was years back and now it's very well maintained and even heating was all available.

No wifi, but for people on data plans it's easy to just hotspot and share your existing plan with family and friends if you don't have a plan or are a tourist might be a bit annoying. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. Wifi was not a big issue for us, even with the kids.

The location.

The heat pump didn’t work properly, the toilet seat was loose, the electric outlets loose and wouldn’t hold the plugs in place (they keep falling out) . There were a couple of spiders (1 on the chair and the other on the bed). The shower pressure was poor and it was stable ( could have fallen off the wall at any point). Mould on the bathroom ceiling above the basin. Crack in the glass of the main door. My family booked 3 studios and a 2 bedroom unit and there were issues in all rooms, cracks, bugs , heat pump issues, stains on carpet.

The room was very comfortable and clean but verytired.

It was great. We had everything we needed.

Had to get Reception to arrange more bowls so we could use the microwave. Had problem getting oven to work but were able to resolve this - graphic on clock face controls oven elements and this was set to “off” despite hob elements working

We needed to stay at the North end of Taupo so this was very convenient. Rang to say approximate check in time. A friendly and helpful receptionist answered and later was there for check in.

The large bed mattress needs replacing

Very run down, TV so old you couldn’t even connect to a APP to watch anything. Heaters in rooms were broken had to sleep in lounge as was so cold!

The place is lovely and usually a pleasure to stay.

The family in the next unit were totally disrespectful. The TV was on loud volume. Adults and a child were laughing and talking horrifically loud until 1am. Just when I thought I was getting to sleep the child started yelling excitedly and making a terrible din. The light seemed to be focused directly onto the dividing door and blasted strongly underneath lighting up our whole room. Please do not allocate the unit we had to any other visitors as long as these people are there.

It’s a very quite location with decent sized rooms. The only downside is the absence of any suitable place to sit for a quick meal or a small desk to work.

Excellent communication from the staff. Arranged our preferred bed sizes, were able to accommodate our request for a villa with a bath. Arrived to a heated unit. We loved that we were slightly out of town, because it was quiet and tranquil, but close enough to get to attractions in and around Taupo.

The pillows were below standard and can do with replacing. Though clean, the villas are in need of some upgrades, as, for example the bath surrounds look dirty because it has seen better days. The couch and arm chairs were frayed and the coffee table had a loose leg.

Lovely setting, quiet but close to town. Loved the individual villas.

Didn’t like the fact that there’s a door between the two studios. Only one dinner plate and 1 tiny little capsule of milk for two people. The amount of milk in the capsule barely covered the bottom of the cup but other than that everything was great.

Cute little one room villa, separate lounge and fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet. All exceptionally clean and well presented.

Everything was as expected. It could have done with a larger bin for kitchen waste and a refill of milk on day 2 but other than these minor things, everything was fine.

Very comfy and cute! Very friendly lady at reception too.

Sometimes the subdivided villas meant you can hear the neighbours you're sharing walls with.

It was cute. I like that the cars were covered, the kitchens were well stocked and the heating made the place nice and cosy.

The Wifi was non existent during our stay

Location and convenience in getting to the hot pools was great. Staff were really friendly and responsive.

It’s all just a bit tired - the lights by the door and above the sofa didn’t work, carpet was stained, paint chipped, the fan in bathroom seemed possessed by demons and the bathtub had been patched up in multiple places. The heater in the bedroom was kindly replaced after the first night as it only blew cold air.

Loved the location and size of the room. Breakfast buffet was good too

Didn't like the water pressure it's a bit weak

It was alright, two good sized rooms, kitchen, etc. Comfy beds, fantastic size, separate toilet from bathroom.

Bit cold, and took ages to get it warmed up, lounge furniture was worn and the couch smelt a bit funky. Shower on over deep spa...bit dangerous, water pressure not great.

Flexible checking, friendly staff

I liked the location that is it closed to what we wanted to do and that we all had space to unwind in our own rooms, the lounge and kitchen without crapping on top of each other. The place was clean. I enjoyed our stay.

It would be even better to have Netflix for the boys to watch.
