Very charming boutique hotel in traditional Thai wooden architecture which I love. Not the typical concrete, soulless hotel. Tons of Thai Charm. Room was large and we had an end unit with a large lanai. Staff was excellent, especially Mai. Owner lives on the property and he was very helpful as well. They drive you into the city in a nice Toyota sedan at the top of the hour upon request. Very nice feature and we greatly appreciated that. Breakfast was also very good. It is also located close to some ancient temple ruins. Just a 7 minute walk away. Right next door to a Temple so they ring some chimes early in the morning--beautiful way to start the day. I thought it was excellent value.

I would have given them an overall 9 rating but our toilet never worked property for the 6 nights we were there. We ended up using the pool bathrooms on the ground floor. The pool is small but that was OK but they had too much chlorine in the water. I would probably stay here again unless I really wanted to be back inside the Old City.

This guesthouse offers good value for money, but it has a serious issue: there are lots of mosquitoes and tiny bugs in the bed that cause itchy skin, which is unbearable. Everything else is perfect.

My only two issues with this guesthouse are lots of mosquitoes and small bugs, plus its hard‑to‑find location — all the lively spots are in the opposite direction.

Breakfast was wonderful, fresh, made to order, delicious and made with warmth and care. We loved it! The owners and staff truly treat you like family and try to go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We really appreciated the early check in, train station pick up and one way drop off offer into the city which was very helpful. The property is simple, homely, but charming. A home away from home. We will be back again!!

Stayed before, it’s a lovely friendly family run hotel, very good breakfast. And nothing is to much trouble.

L’hôtel est trés propre et la piscine agréable. Le personnel est très disponible et serviable. Il offre les trajets vers le centre ville, ce qui compense le relatif éloignement de l’hôtel. Le petit déjeuner, à la carte, est tb.

The owners are super lovely and welcoming! We was coming to Thailand to celebrate my partners birthday and they decorated the room so beautifully and with singing birthday cake, am so grateful! The hotel is super comfortable and unique especially after staying in Khao sok beforehand in jungle it is nice to have something so clean and inviting! Thank you for having us! ❤️

Jag tyckte om allt personalen var väldigt trevligt och väldigt hjälpsamma och tillmötesgående. Och gorde allt för att vara oss till fullo nöjda . Och dom älskar hundar dom var väldigt hjälpsamma med vår hund och visa allt och lekte med vår hund fast dom hade mycket att göra så det märktes värkligen att dom gillar hundar och dom även körde oss i egen bil för.att hjälpa oss att.fixa några.ärenden .. Och rummet var perfekt väldigt rent och allt var fint och allt fungerade vi kommer värkligen att bo där i fortsättningen när vi har ärenden eller semester i staden för allt var mycket bra och trevlig. It had old world Thai charm, although the decor would not suit everyone, the staff were super friendly and it was pet friendly, so our Pomeranian enjoyed it as well, breakfast was excellent, and the whole stay was very good value. We will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and spacious rooms, very clean, nice and relaxed atmospehere. It is tucked away in a quiet street, far from any noise. There is a free shuttle service into the centre which was very helpful.

The bed mattress is very hard.

Tout, personnel formidable, ils m ont invite a meter songkran 3 jours avec eux, me demande tous les jours s il faut me conduire quelque part, si je souhaite manger, etc je n ai jamais eu un personnel aussi attention. La piscine est top, l equipment est complet, seche cheveux etc...clim impeccable, ventilateur au dessus du lit pour ceux qui n aiment pas la clim, je n ai manque de rien.

L emplacement est assez eloigné mais est au calme...le petit dejeuner est basique mais vous pouvez choisir a la carte moyennant supplement

Mai, Oat, Kham the entire staff are the BEST! Delicious made to order breakfast each day, even packed some to takeaway when we had a morning tour! Resort without the resort prices! We felt like family! Mai even made my birthday special with a cake and decorations!

Les hôtes sont aux petits soins, ils sont venus me chercher et m'ont ramenée à l'aéroport gracieusement. Ils parlent très bien anglais. La guesthouse est très jolie, tout en bois, elle est bien entretenue. La piscine est de bonne taille pour nager, il y a aussi des équipements pour faire du sport. C'est très calme. Le petit déjeuner est varié et délicieux. On peut déjeuner ou dîner aussi sur place, peu de plats mais ils sont fait maison et sont bons. Il y a la possibilité de louer une moto en très bon état sur place, utile pour se rendre en centre ville qui est à 10 bonnes minutes. Ils proposent aussi une navette gratuite pour se rendre dans la vieille ville toutes les heures.

Hôtel atypique à la deco originale. Chambres propres, petite piscine sympa pour la fin de journée. Possibilité de prendre l’apéro le soir au bord de la piscine. Le patron de l’hôtel vous dépose ou vous voulez en ville, hyper pratique ! Bon petit dej.

Le petit dej inclus dans la chambre est hyper basique et minimaliste. Il y a une carte avec de beaux petits dej à disposition sans indication de prix, c’est trompeur car tout est payant! Literie bien dure comme souvent dans le nord…

Situation calme et logement propre ménage fait tous les jours et spacieux. Petit déjeuner au top et varié. Un accueil chaleureux et toujours prêt à notre service.

Uns hat die familiäre Atmosphäre besonders gut gefallen. Alle Anfragen konnten sehr gut beantwortet werden. Rollverleih, kostenloser Shuttle Service in die Altstadt, Meeting Points bei Ausflügen und Flughafen werden angeboten. Frühstück ist völlig ausreichend!

L'hôtel est un peu à l'écart de l'agitation du centre ville et pourtant nous sommes tout près..en taxi ou scooter, 10 mns environ.. Et puis le petit-déjeuner est le top du top. C'est le meilleur petit-déjeuner que nous avons eu pendant notre séjour de 3 semaines. Merci aux gérants.

The wonderful family running it! We also loved the laid back atmosphere. Beautiful landscaping and the pool is wonderful.

The bed is very firm, and the door doesn’t seal completely which sometimes would allow mosquitoes in the room.

The calmness & lush surroundings. The staff were super friendly & very helpful. Nothing was too much bother. Breakfast was excellent, as were other meals that i purchased. Great variety & free coffee, fruit & snacks throughout the day. Grab app was very cheap for a ride into or out of the city, however staff provided a ‘one way’ trip for free, which was an added bonus. Nice relaxing pool area. Excellent value for money!!

They have a driver that will drop you off at old town. It was very convenient. The hostess spoke very well in English. I hurt my back just before I came to Thailand, and the hostess was able to arrange a traveling masseuse to come to the hotel. It helped my back and made it easier to move around the city. Overall, choose this place! You won't be let down.

Gratis Shuttle vom Flughafen zur Unterkunft und mehrmals am Tag in die Stadt hinein. Dauerhaftes Buffet mit Snacks, gutes und umfangreiches Frühstück. Nette Fahrer, Zimmerservice, schöner Tempel nebenan.

Es dauert recht lange, bis man das Frühstück bekommt. Man ist 15 Minuten Autofahrt ab vom Zentrum. Der Balkon, der Pool, die Außenanlage könnten mehr gepflegt sein.

Der nette Empfang, das prima Frühstück, der Pool, die Selbstbedieungs-Kaffeebar und überhaupt die Unterkunft mit den vielen grünen Pflanzen waren klasse!

Auf meiner vierwöchigen Reise hatte ich nirgens so viele Mücken wie hier.

The place is in a quiet remote location in the suburbs of Chiang Mai, next to a Buddhist temple and not far from temple ruins where ancient Chiang Mai was first built. The grounds are spacious, with ample parking, a clean swimming pool, and a large dining room for breakfast. The staff were super helpful!

The main problem we had was shower+toilet+sink combined in one side of the bathroom with the drain next to the door in the other corner. There was no curtain, so I needed to take care not to spray any water on the toilet paper roll for example. After you shower, your feet will get wet every time you take a piss or want to wash your hands. Very impractical and annoying. The room in which we stayed had unrepaired water damage on the walls and on the floor behind the bed. There were a lot of plaster worms on the walls, which doesn't bother me too much, but it's obviously not getting cleaned thoroughly.

A 5km du centre les grabs viennent difficilement mais l'hôtel propose une navette. Équipement rustique.

Mai and the other staff were so accommodating, they made us feel at home. Mai spoke very good english and was happy to help us with all of our requests and questions. The rooms were cleaned daily, they were very spacious and they gave us fresh bottles of water and topped up the mini bar every day. The pool area and restaurant were great. The breakfast was amazing and they offered free lifts to areas around chiang mai as well as bicycles, a trike and scooters. They also offer food at lunch and dinner time which was convenient, tasty and fairly priced.

Not much of a view from the room, but everything else was so great we weren't bothered!

War erschrocken, als ich an der Straße vor dem Haus stand. Es sah aus wie ein Baumhaus mit schweren Holztüren, die mit einem Vorhängeschloss abgesperrt waren. Die Begrüßung war herzlich und als die Türe zu meinem Zimmer geöffnet wurde, kam ich aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus. Ein tolles Zimmer mit Balkon und sehr bequemem Bett und ein sauberes Bad. Herz, was willst du mehr. Frühstück prima und Abendessen gibt's auch.

Im Parterre hat man vom Balkon keine Aussicht. Man schaut gegen eine Mauer vom Tempel. Hat mich aber nicht weiter gestört.

If I could give this place an 11 I would. Mai & Kam cannot do enough for their guests. The hotel is amazing, bringing the outside in with an open plan, airy, free flowing laid back vibe. The room was spacious and spotless with a huge bed and private balcony. Breakfast is cooked to order and was delicious. Kam runs an hourly drop off into the old town as it’s slightly too far to walk. Really quiet and peaceful with a pool for cooling dips. Free bikes and buggy for exploring the local area and scooter hire. You can even have a massage if you want. Free snacks and coffee 24/7. Great value for money and would highly recommend.

Tout, l'ambiance, l'établissement, la famille qui le gère et que je remercie encore pour leur gentillesse. Chambre spacieuse, très agréable avec tv, mini-frigo et clim. Par contre, prévoir masque pour les yeux car les rideaux ne sont pas occultants. Pour le bruit, je ne sais pas, je dors avec des bouchons d'oreille. Le lit était dur mais ça ne m'a pas dérangé. Petit dej au top. Il y a même une desserte avec café, thé, fruits et biscuits à disposition jour et nuit pour les encas. Piscine agréable, un vrai plus! On a le droit à un trajet par jour (inclus) ce qui est très pratique que ce soit pour aller en ville ou à l'aéroport (pour le retour, les VTC font très bien l'affaire). En supplément, j'ai réservé un massage dans ma chambre et la masseuse était géniale, à l'écoute et efficace! J'ai adoré, je reviendrai!

Das Personal war so herzlich für jedes Problem eine Lösung zu finden. Das Frühstück ist toll und der Pool lädt ein zum Relaxen und Chillen. Die Lage ist wunderbar da es in der Nähe alte Ruinen gibt. Auch das man vom Hotel umsonst in die Stadt gebracht wurde ein absoluter Pluspunkt. Dankeschön für alles.

Das Bett ist einfach zu hart trotz Topper. Ansonsten alles perfekt.

Alles is aanwezig: fan, airco, hordeuren. Mooi vormgegeven, open. Verwacht geen 5-sterren hotel maar eigenlijk is dit veel leuker. Echt boutique. Vervoer naar de stad en naar het vliegveld is kosteloos. Het personeel is heel behulpzaam: wasservice, repareren van een broek, tips in de omgeving.

Bed is beetje hard. Ook moet je geluk hebben met rustige buren. Het ligt buiten de stad maar in een mooi historische wijk. Staan filmpjes ervan op Youtube.

The room was spacious, clean (cleaned every day!), comfortable and beautiful, the breakfast was great and on top there is a free shuttle dropping me off at the old city (the taxi on the way back is only 2 Euros, so the location was perfectly fine). The staff is incredibly attentive and kind, always going out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible, always with a smile on their face. I was able to rent a scooter whenever I needed it and was able to visit all the places I wanted to see whilst still chilling on the comfy lounge chairs at the pool reading my book every now and again. I really enjoyed my stay here!

Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb, teilweise schwierig ein Grab oder Taxi zubekommen.

Excellent Service and Staff. Homely feeling about the place, nothing was a problem and the hotel had everything we needed or wanted. You can hire a motorbike here or have the free use of an electric bicycle. We didn't avail as we had a car but it was good to know.
