B&B Belgravia

The B&B was in a great location. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable.

We had no hot water when trying to shower in the morning. When we asked staff they said they thought it had been fixed. As we were flying home that day we checked if we could have a later checkout and were told we’d have to pay. We also went for breakfast in the morning and there was one chef that was taking orders and cooking the meals. The tables were all full. We stood for five minutes waiting to give our order and no one came near us so we cancelled out breakfast.

The staff were really lovely - very accommodating, flexible and friendly. The area is superbly located. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Frühstück war gut, Lage sehr gut. Zimmer zur Strasse sind laut.

Wir hatten Mäuse im Zimmer in der Nacht. Am Morgen war das Brot angefressen und die Plastiktasche zerbissen. Die Reaktion des Hotels war lächerlich: Nix ausser etwas mitleidigem Kopfschütteln. Keine Reaktion auf meine Mails, keine Erklärung.

I had a lot of trouble with getting my shower repaired. It would not moderate the water temperature and I asked the staff to address this. I was there for 3 nights and it was not repaired. Aside from that everything else was fine. I would also address the window shades. This room faces a very bright street. It definitely needs drapes to make the room dark. A window shade was inadequate as a lot of light en tiered the room all night.

Bedside tables would be helpful on both sides of the beds. TV reception was very poor and we were unable to get most channels.

No mirror near when the plugs were for the hair dryer. Such a first world problem. Ha! Place could use a full length mirror as well - hang it near the outlets and kill two birds.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us, a short walk from Victoria station. Quiet for its location. Some good cafes nearby. Quite a few stairs to get up to our room but we didn't mind that. Might seem expensive but felt it was reasonable compared to some..

The shower was poor and quite tight for space. The room was nothing special but had basic requirements although one of the bedside tables was missing/broken off from the wall.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, accommodating our very late arrival due to flight delays. The breakfast was excellent and the location is fantastic with easy access to local shops and restaurants as well as Victoria station a short walk away.

The basement flat can be a bit noisy in the morning with other guests coming and going.

The blinds are so far away from the windows as to render them useless. you have to bring an eyemask if you want any chance of sleeping. Also we were at the front, above the front door, which slams shut everytime someone comes in or out. No sleep.

Why is it so difficult to find a decent hotel in London? Over the past couple of years we have travelled to London at least two times a year, searching for that perfect London hotel. We like to stay near Victoria Station in Belgravia & have tried a number of different hotels & inns but none were perfect. However, the B&B Belgravia which we spotted on a previous trip & which looked promising was by far the worst we have stayed in to date. Located in a couple of connected townhomes on Ebury Street the B&B was really disappointing. While listed as a four star hotel the room was dirty, improperly cleaned, (including cockroaches) & poorly maintained. Too often places like this focus on style rather substance. The price was certainly not reflected in the quality of what was offered. Given it once had good reviews I can only guess a change in ownership or management just wants to collect money rather than deliver a pleasant experience for return guests. The place also insisted on 20£ for an early check in, something we have never experienced before. The room we were given had twin beds & faced the back of the building. It had a tiny television with poor reception, no air conditioning (during +25c days) & poor soundproofing between other rooms. It was by far the worst hotel we experienced in Belgravia and while we stayed one night we would never return & would not recommend it to anyone.

Very central for many attractions, such as Buckingham Palace and Westminster. The property was in a beautiful location with many lovely cafes and places to eat and it was quiet

There were problems which had to be mentioned to staff but were resolved however, some weren’t didn’t mention till checking out due to us not wanting to waste our holiday time

Tuvimos que subir 4 pisos por escaleras todas las valijas, la habitación era muy chica y el suelo estaba inclinado hacia un lado, no me rsultó cómoda, la cama estaba bien y el baño y la ducha también.

Das Personal ist sehr nett. Beim Frühstück kann man sich Original englisches Frühstück oder auch Croissants, Obst oder Müsli aussuchen. Man kann sich den ganzen Tag Kaffee und Wasser umsonst holen. Die Zimmer sind nicht zu groß aber schön sauber und gemütlich. Die Lage ist super. Fünf Minuten zur Victoria Station, von da kommt man leicht überall hin. Auch nur 900 Meter zum Buckingham Palast. Überhaupt sind sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten fussläufig erreichbar.

Was told because we booked in late at 4.15pm all the rooms had been taken. Even though I booked a long way in advance. Was told we'd been upgraded but our room was in another building further down the road. We would have to return in the morning to the bed and breakfast that I had booked for our breakfast. The room wasn't really inviting, but the biggest problem was the shower was over the bath, so I couldn't use it as I am unable to manoeuvre into a bath. I did complain in the morning, to be told, in future they'd make sure I get a walk in shower.

Good location, easy walk to Victoria station. Property was clean and comfortable. Room was hot, so necessary to keep windows open at all times, making it noisy with street sounds. Breakfast was good.

La posizione era ottima, vicina alla stazione Victoria e relativa metro. Strada tranquilla e ben tenuta, buoni esercizi commerciali limitrofi. Camera pulita e attrezzata, assenza però di aria condizionata.

Unfortunately, we couldn't stay at the property at all. As soon as we saw the room, we decided to cancel our reservation. The room was on the third floor, and the staircase was extremely narrow, making it very difficult to carry luggage and manage with a young child. The room itself was very small, had no air conditioning, and felt extremely stuffy and uncomfortable. Although we cancelled immediately without using the room, the property initially wanted to charge us for two nights. After a long discussion through Booking.com, this was reduced to one night's charge. However, we still believe this was unfair, as the property had every opportunity to cancel the reservation free of charge given that we never stayed in or used the room.

Great location, close to Victoria station in a quiet street. Staff were welcoming and held our bags for us so we could go exploring before our room was ready.

The room itself was very basic, nice addition of a fan as it was very warm. Complimentary coffee machine downstairs was nice as well as a water cooler, bottle of water in the room to refill would be good. Our biggest disappointment was breakfast, really small room with only 4 tables which were constantly full, we didn't have breakfast on the second morning as there was no space at the three separate times we tried, ended up paying at the lovely cafe at the end of the road!

Staff excellent, friendly but efficient. Location was very good. Close to transport and variety of restaurants. Room and en-suite clean and spacious.

Although comfortable the bed mattress did not fit the base and hung over at head end, yet was not wide enough to cover the base. Duvet was too small for bed but as weather very hot at time of visit did not worry us.

Die Lage ist sensationell. Zur Victoria Station max. 5 Minuten zu Fuß, trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen.

Klimaanlage war leider kaputt. Im Bad fehlten Ablagemöglichkeiten. Aber alles in allem ausreichend, für Londoner Verhältnisse.

The superior studio advertises itself as 23m squared with the option of double or twin beds. When I arrived I was told that this isn’t the case and that I was to share a bed with my friend. When I explained that this wasn’t going to happen, I was met with an uncomfortably long pause and eventually given the option of an alternative location with separate beds and no additional charge. This was a great solution but the problem should not have been there in the first place and neither should the awkwardness of the situation arise either. Please remove this option from Booking.com to avoid this happening to any other guests but thanks for helping us out of a tricky situation.

Whilst light cooking facilities were available, there were no tea towels or cooking utensils, or food preparation equipment. Also sadly lacking in cutlery….3 knives for 4 people 😬

It was quiet and comfortable with what we needed. Breakfast ok but not a great deal for vegetarians. Good we could store bags.

More options for vegetarians. Drink facilities in room and towel hook in bathroom. We did say it was a mini honeymoon for us but nothing personal done.

Keine Ablagemöglichkeiten im Zimmer. Fenster ließ sich nur 5 cm öffnen. Als wir am Ende darum baten, dass uns ein Taxi gerufen wird, wollte die "Rezeptionistin" uns unbedingt über ihren Uber-Account eins rufen und wurde pampig, als wir das nicht wollten.

The bathrooms have been renovated in an unusual and space-saving-to-a-fault way. A screen is meant to move from side to side to cover the adjoining toilet and shower cubicles. With non-partnered singles, this is somewhat concerning as there is a gap between the screen and the walls of the cubicles, allowing both noise and vision from the bed area. The screen we had was not really adequate as either a door or a shower cubicle covering. The screen did not move from the position it had been left it before we arrived and was stuck between the toilet and the shower, making access for both difficult and stressful. As we stayed only one night, in sweltering 28 Celcius heat, we did not report it to staff as it was not possible to fix the situation before we had to leave for a bus tour from Victoria Station early the next morning. It shouldn't have been like that when we were given the room. In addition, we stayed during what are unfortunately becoming more and more common heatwaves. Our single, twin room contained a standing fan that, even with the window open, was difficult to position properly to cover both occupants owing to the placement of electrical plugs. This establishment, like many others in the UK and Europe, might like to consider installing (possibly portable if nothing else) air-conditioning in every room as the world inevitably warms up. It's not likely to cool down, so facts must be faced or many hotels, bed and breakfast establishments, and guest houses will lose business in the summer months as heatwaves continue and escalate, and air-conditioned establishments are preferred.

1晚175歐元的房價安排住在地下室，沒冷氣給電風扇在歐洲能理解，但是房間很悶熱。 做了10幾個飛機好不容易到了check in櫃檯，入住辦到一半，櫃檯人員跑去修咖啡機，修理20分鐘後終於幫忙辦理入住。 房間打開後更是驚喜，映入眼睛的是兩隻蒼蠅在飛，當天總共打死六隻蒼蠅；到了盥洗流程，淋浴沒熱水，洗手台有，反應櫃檯說隔天會修理，外出回來還是冷的；在酒店4晚，四天要求更換浴巾，飯店很有個性的都沒換。 最後，最最最最不能接受的是半夜聽到怪聲，電燈打開驚見一隻小老鼠，把行李箱的泡麵、士力架巧克力、樂士洋芋片全開小洞品嚐了。 旅遊過20幾個過家，因商務跟家庭旅遊因素住過上千間飯店，從來也沒有一間飯店可以讓我花時間寫下長篇大論，希望我的評論能幫大家不要花錢找罪受。

Muhammed is a lovely person, he greeted us with a smile, was very friendly and keen to help. Breakfast was really tasty, the freshly cooked scrambled eggs were particularly delicious! Its location was perfect, Victoria Stn very close by, nice bars and restaurants on the street too. Our room was very small but most rooms in London are. It was 30deg while we where there, impossible to sleep with no air-conditioning. We had to leave the window open so it was quite noisy in the early morning but extreme heat is not the norm so on cooler nights Im sure you would sleep better...

Nors pusryčių pasirinkimas skurdokas (angliški arba kontinentiniai pusryčiai), bet angliškų pusryčių variantas tikrai geras (su sąlyga, kad neapsistojate ilgesniam laikui, kai net ir geras besikartojantis maistas ima pabosti).

Nepatiko kambarys, kuris buvo pusrūsyje (apie tai neperspėta atliekant rezervaciją), mažoka staliukų pusryčiaujantiems - dažnai tekdavo palaukti. Prasta ventiliacija, dėl ko vonios kambaryje matyti pelėsio, kanalizacija “gurguliavo”, kas indikavo netrukus atsirasiantį kamštį, o dušo mechanizmas irgi buvo skaičiuojantis paskutines dienas. Viešbučiui būtų naudinga kažkaip akivaizdžiau pažymėti įėjimą - pirmą kartą net praėjau - ten keletas panašių durų ir tik nedidelis užrašas su pavadinimu ant stiklo virš įėjimo durų.
