Clean & Tidy
Windows not sound proof
Proximity to main road and neatness
The stairs not easy for me since I have a heavy bag. Its not easy navigating the stairs...
Great will come again
It was good
Its a small hotel i like it
There is no air con
I was welcomed immediately by staff, Jerry on reception was very friendly. My room was upgraded. Reasonably priced. It was cool, clean and quiet. Well situated and easy to access.
Nothing comes to mind.
The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants etc. if you’re lucky you get one of the three parking spaces, otherwise street parking needs a permit which is about £5 a day. The rooms are clean and serviced every day. It’s an old building so expect creaky floors, all in all a bit quirky but in a nice way. Great for a short stay.
The road is noisy but that’s not the hotel’s fault and take your own toiletries as the hotel only provides basic sachets of shower gel etc.
Jerry era un tio de 10, el recepcionista
Está muy lejos y el hotel no vale para nada... se quedó una parte de mi en ese hotel, mi cuello.
There was No Lift
There was no complementary water on the room.
Pulizia eccellente.
24/7 desk. easy access. public transport very nearby. a lot of shops nearby.
fridger made noises, needed to turn off in the night. but not an issue really.
Helpful staff and appreciated having a late check in time
Reasonable price and better areas located
No issues spoted
Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit
Alt, kaputte Teppiche, schäbige Möbel, Duschkopf verkalkt/kaum Wasser, keine Ablageflächen, winziger Schrank unter Dachschräge, Geruch von Fritieröl
Location to Ally Pally venue and surrounding shops and eating places.
No food served, restayrant closed atbour time of visit. Rooms are very tired and need renovated. Bed not very comfy. It done me and my daughter for one night. We did visit during one of the recent heatwaves and the large lopsided aircon unit sitting in basin, with hose hanging out the window was only good if you sat directly in front of it and was very noisy, couldnt keep on through the night. Aircon the room should be sealed to build up a nice cool area, with window open the heat was just pumping in again.
There was no breakfast
When booking I requested a ground floor room and on arrival we had to climb 3 ghastly flights of stairs.
Friendly staff
Not near a tube station
Parking, nice area, shops nearby
Nothing - not close to a station, but there are buses.
The location was perfect
Extremely basic facilities, very dated and in desperate need of decorating. Carpets were dirty. Shower cubicle was tiny and the shower head trickled water! Rooms were noisy, you could hear others guests throughout the stay plus their TV’s. 1 thin pillow per person. Enormous AC unit with huge pipe stuck out of the window which had to be closed because it was so noisy! Overall very dissatisfied
Good location and looked appealing from the outside.
Dated interior and beds were not comfortable.
Great location, friendly, helpful staff. I have stayed at this hotel at least a dozen times and always stay here if I am in London and there are vacancies. It is homely and welcoming and excellent value for money.
I can't think of any negatives.
Helpful friendly

Bonne localisation l'hotel était au centre de Muswell Hill.
La Chambre était minuscule.
Lovely, polite staff at the reception. There is no lift, and staff helped to get my bags on the floor 3. Lovely double room, clean, shower, bathroom nice.
Our room was on the top floor with seling going down towards the outside wall. Unfortunately, electric plugs are exactly on that low wall, and I managed twice to bang my head after reaching plugs.
Great service
Good location Good customer service plus parking Bed was comfortable
Very helpful staff, excellent location. Near Alexandra palace, Highgate woods many shops and restaurants around.
I didn't like the room they gave me and they kindly moved me to one I felt comfortable with.
Convenient for muswell Hill. Air con was ancient but worked in 35 °heat
No help with cases up steps. Mucked up my uber eats.
The only thing i liked is the location
Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing and did not feel like good value for money. We booked the property for four days for four people, but the room was very small and could comfortably accommodate only two people. The AC was extremely noisy, to the point that it was difficult to hear someone speaking. We requested a larger room from the staff, but unfortunately received no response or assistance. There was also no dining table, and the property itself felt very old and in need of improvement. Overall, it was not a comfortable stay, especially for four days, and sadly it affected the holiday we had carefully planned for our kids. Considering the price and the overall experience, I would not recommend this property.
Great location
The facilities are nice and the staff gracious even when if you accidentally make mistakes. They held on to an item I forgot, promptly informed me, and were generous with my unknown pickup availablity.
Location price
Mattrass
Manager came to install the AC when I request
Esta muy bien ubicada y las habitaciones son amplias. El personal fue muy amable
Las almohadas y el colchón eran muy blandos. Nada más
Clean
It was most satisfactory no complaints
It was lovely the guy at the reception was very helpful after a long journey and we managed to get to our room was a great stay. would recommend it
nothing i disliked .
You could sit outside and air con helped
Bedroom and bed was small and bathroom was too cramped - my husband couldn’t have a shower - insufficient space. On ground floor and window was open for air con so noisy. No breakfast in hotel.
Perfect location for Alexandra Palace , Free on site parking ( limited spaces) Staff were very polite . Clean room
Very tired inside, the room had everything in it but was very shabby , the air con was a portable one & sounded like an aircraft. Water pressure in the shower was poor . Considering its location and the limited hotel availability around Alexandra Palace I would have thought they might spend a bit on it !
Fantastic location for the Ally Pally. Rooms clean enough.
Doors slamming all morning so early rise wether I liked it or not! Small rooms
Very nice location within a little village with lots of nice cafes and nearby parks. Ideal if you’re looking for a short stay while going to gig in Tottenham stadium as location is serviced by many busses. I stayed in 205 and in terms of just needing a room for the night, it was a great price.
It can be a bit noisy as the bedroom doors all slam due to being heavy fire doors. That means late into the night and early morning. The room I stayed in felt more like a private hostel room but the bathroom was nice and that’s all I really needed for my short stay.
Excellent location for events in Alexandra Palace as it’s only a short walk away! Hotel was easy to get to by public transport and many shops, cafes nearby. Shower was powerful with good settings, the bed was OK. Staff I met were friendly, welcoming and polite.
Attic single room was absolutely roasting. It was during the heatwave in July though so keep in mind for those easily affected by heat, climbing stairs and low ceiling height (I’m 5 ft 8 and found it tricky). An electric room fan was included but loud and gave off heat itself of course. Outdated style and decor but adequate for a night’s stay for a gig. Would stay again but would book a first or second floor room to be honest.
I only stayed the night as I was attending a gig nearby. The area is surprisingly quiet and the room was very clean. Didn't stay long enough for any other input
Average hotel at a reasonable price (for the area). It is right in the centre of Mussel Hill with lots of shops and restaurant/bars nearby. The reception is 24 hour, so great for those arriving late at night. Rooms are small, but at least I had a portable air-conditioner in the room. The free parking appears to be just a few places behind the hotel. If you miss out on one of these you will need to pay for parking on the road outside.
Close to Alexander Palace which is what I wanted. Friendly staff
Close to the shops and cafes
So hot only a small fan and an old machine that was useless as the hose was out of the window so couldn’t close window to keep cold air inside. The hose was taped to the machine but wasn’t stuck anymore so hot air was coming out of the back of the unit into the room.
Location and free parking. Fridge in the room!
The room was very hot in though London was in middle of a heatwave!
I liked the location it was very convenient to Alexandra Palace. I had an attic room with 2 velux windows that opened which let in a lovely cool breeze, very welcoming in this heatwave. The shower was OK. The area of Muscliff Hill is well worth a look at with some lovely Elizabethan architecture.
It is such a shame that this hotel is let down by lack of investment. My room was very shabby and could have done with a complete upgrade. It certainly didn't look like the photos on this site. There was only one bedside lamp, and that had dodgy wiring. Because I had the windows open, it was a bit hazardous as they came low and I kept banging my head on them. Despite the photos showing a dining area, unfortunately there wasn't one and it doesn't do breakfast. It didn't have a bar either. The place looked more like a storage area than a hotel. The staff were helpful but not very communicative. I paid £179 for one night which turned out to be very expensive and overpriced.
Location
- Filthy looking and ill fitted carpets in room , common areas. I didn’t want to touch my the ground with my feet. - Peeling wallpaper, badly scuffed furniture & woodwork - Windows opened to dustbin storage area of nearby restaurants etc. - Stingy sized single room in the attic - Overpriced accommodation £140 p/n of this standard
Booked for a gig at Wembley. Parking was super helpful. Gorgeous location right in the centre of Muswell Hill and friendly, helpful front desk staff. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us.
Really clean and staff were very friendly
The room was tired with peeling paint. The radiator was stuck on full in the middle of a heatwave. A temporary air conditioner was held together with gaffer tape which kept falling off and heating the room up to 45 degrees. No alternative room was offered and a refund was refused. It would have been cooler staying in hell.
genial, muy accesible el lugar y en la cercania habia muchos restaurantes,el bus nos dejo en la esquina del hotel, el personal muy servicial y la habitación fue como la descripción.
Location, bathroom
The fire alarm at 4am, I get it was a mistake but it still disturbed my sleep (didn't sleep the night before). Room was too hot. There was a fan but it wasn't making the room cooler.
Its well located.
I got the tiny single Attic Box room in the Roof. This is not the single room you see in the photos. Nothing like it. I couldnt actually stand up straight in the room without my head hitting the ceiling or lie on the bed properly. I’m 5ft11. Its just small and way too hot for a Summer stay. The Aircon unit is an industrial unit for a workspace, loud and abrasive. There are random seats in the room you cant sit in due to the sloping roof. If you open the window you have to crawl about as not to mash your head. There is a random telephone hanging over the bed. The TV is a Computer LCD from about 2012. Also nothing is Clean. Basically its not what I needed, i had an 18 hour shift the next day. I gave the key card back to the receptionist and left. They refused my request for a refund, (which is their right) Basically- this is not recommended. DO NOT stay here. Also they re-collect all your data at reception. Credit card included. I didnt like that.
Slightly cheaper than other hotels. Fridge in fairly spacious room (2 beds) Air-conditioning although had to leave window open for the Tube.
Hotel a bit shabby. Hole in the carpet in our room. Shower small
Vielleicht eine Flasche Wasser im Sommer im Zimmer. wäre nett .
A lovely in a great location.
It was comfortable and provided all that we need while we stay away.
Guest house-not hotel
No air con,dated rooms
Check in was obviously a data-gathering exercise as I had booked and paid via Booking.com already. Tiny room in the roof, no Room to stand up properly or fit on the bed. Photos on the adverts are nothing like it is. I actually left within 30 minutes as it was so unpleasant. No interest in refunding the money and just blah blah terms and conditions. This is a very old and outdated Hotel with a duious business stratergy and even more dubious Hygiene reading the reports of Bed Bugs by previous occupants.. Stay away, there are nicer places.
Parking and ease of checking in and out
No bar
Convenient and clean
Very tired looking… there were bits of carpet missing/warn away in my room.
Easy to find, parking, proximity to the shops and catching a bus to the O2 Forum in Kentish Town. Small single room but I didn't need anything bigger to be honest. I was also able to leave my car in the car park until early afternoon the next day which was fantastic.
Nothing!
Leaving
Everything
it is very convenient for Alexandra Palace.
My room was tiny, and lacked aircon. The loo is tiny.
Near to shop Helpful staff Great value for moneu
Slightly dated bedroom but absolutely fine to stay in
Juste l’emplacement
Pleasant & helpful staff. Clean; comfortable bed; room fan.
Room size a bit squashed. Breakfast arrangement not clear.
All very easy to negotiate
Noisey area.
The hotel was perfect for us to attend an evening event at Ally Pally - within walking distance. Staff were really friendly and the hotel was clean. We had a room on the 1st floor and at the front of the building. The room was dated however it was clean, tea/coffee/biscuits, air-conditioning unit and mini fridge and the bed comfy. Bathroom was also fine with complimentary shower/soap - shower over bath. I would definitely stay here again.
The road is quite busy and I was woken up about 3 with people laughing/joking and talking really loudly, outside the hotel...but I did have the windows open.
Big space room, air con unit provided as it was very hot weather. Great location for Alex andra Place.
Great location, comfortable rooms with air conditioning unit. Good value.
excellent location- round corner from shops, 15 min walk to/ from Alexandra Park/Palace. had a a fridge! during heatwave so had 2 fans
very basic and very tired our room did not have air con ( several rooms do ) bottle of water in fridge would have been much appreciated
Location was excellent and there was car parking available if you arrive early enough. Staff on reception were also welcoming and helpful. Round the corner from lovely eateries and shops.
The room was quite dated and bathroom facilities quite small for 3 people sharing the room. There was a huge air conditioning unit in the room which got very hot but which was much needed given the ambient temperature of the room. The first bed's mattress had a huge dip in it which meant that you naturally both rolled into the middle - could do with an update generally.
Lovely old hotel and very friendly and welcoming staff. It was ideal for our son’s wedding venue. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had tea and coffee facilities. Altogether a nice stay!
There is very limited parking which you cannot reserve. It makes driving there very stressful. Thankfully, we were able to park but only just. The rooms were extremely hot and there was no air con, which is standard for most U.K. hotels but it meant leaving the windows opened and we had so much outdoor noise…..it woke us up a lot.
It's always clear on nice people as well am very happy coming here
Excellent location right near Muswell Hill broadway
Nice size rooms excellent location
Location
Needs updating, rooms old decor, holes in carpets, nasty smell in room, air conditioning unit old & plugged into a new extension lead plugged into a plug extension. Beds uncomfortable, could feel the springs. Felt a bit dirty. Toiletries poor, 2 little sachets of shampoo/ body wash per person. Staff seemed generally not interested. (That said initial chap was better), no breakfast option. Fairly expensive for a nights stay & I expect more for my money.
The only thing I can say is it has a good mattress
Very tired decor Tiny attic room with no headroom around bed. Smoke detector wrapped up in a plastic bag
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic!
The room was a little outdated and small. Bedding could have also been a bit comfier.
Staff were brilliant and very helpful recommended places for breakfast very local
Nothing all satisfactory
Location to Gatwick
In the family room we were in the TV was on the wall, but in a location where you couldn’t see it properly from any of the beds. Every angle was side on. At one point I went to my car to get something, but forgot my key. When I pressed the buzzer to get back in it was like I was being told off as I’d forgotten the key. Not very friendly!
Location
Not enough bedclothes
I Absolutely Loved Every Minute 😍💗
Nothing I Liked Everything
Beds were comity
Bathrooms on the small side Location was too far away was told it was only a10 minute walk to the underground but was more like 30 minutes Nosing neighbours from next doors room when mentioned to staff on checking out no apology from them got told should have rang reception AT 2am
Great location, We booked for one night as attending a concert at Emirates Stadium. A very easy bus ride to and from the stadium. Hotel was perfect for a one night stay. It has several car parking spaces to the side and behind it and we had no trouble parking, there was also lots of on street parking available close by. There are a variety of places locally to have breakfast as not available at the hotel which has very basic facilities but as expected so we weren't disappointed especially as it is a 3 star hotel. Reception very helpful with advice on how to get home from the stadium.
Only thing was no breakfast but nothing major as lots of places to choose from a few minutes walk away
Stayed here as was in london for a concert. The room was outdated, but the beds were comfy. Shower was a dribble, but there was an air-conditioning unit with a pipe hanging out of a window and a mini fridge. Next door smoked weed and stayed up talking ALL night. Walls are paper thin and we managed to get a total of 1hr sleep. We left early this morning as the noise was still ongoing. The receptionist said it was a single room, so they obviously aren't bothered who was in it. We highlighted this to reception before check out and he completely dismissed our complaint. No apology, and no partial refund. He just kept saying we should have gone down at 2am and reported it. We were tired with achy feet... as the tube station is at least a 20 min walk. For the price, i feel like I've had my pants down. Absolutely zero sleep. Im exhausted. Never again.
I liked it as was 24 hrs reception Shower was good. Room was clean Also had a fan in room as it was very hot that day
Nothing
Friendly staff, great location for access to Muswell hill and Alexandra park and palace. Hotel is very good value given its location.
All the staff very friendly and as helpful as they could of been even let us leave our car on check out day for us to go and sightsee
We did book a room with 2 singles and a double but got 2 doubles but didn't cause an issue really
Bathroom facilities Mini fridge... It was basic but a great base to travel from and come back too..lovely front seating area outside especially in the good weather...
Other than the tv reception and wall mounting... It was all I needed...nice to have a decent room tea and coffee supplied
Great location! Fan provided in our room during this spring heatwave.
In a great area with lots of shops and restaurants and so close to Alexander Palace where we were attending an event.
It wasn’t that I didn’t like it, but the shower was so tiny, it was difficult to move about, the property is fabulous but in need of renovation.
Very nice friendly staff, Great Location, Very Clean, Budget friendly.
I stayed here during a heatwave in London where temperatures were 30° C + my room was like a furnace it was so hot it made it very difficult to get to sleep, I think in these conditions Roseview Hotel could at least offer electric plug-in fans to guests or Air conditioning.
The general look of it and the location were very nice.
I wished that breakfast was offered
