Reviewed Jan 17, 2026Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent! Advice if you have a stay over in Istanbul: Taxi and airport transfers are expensive! I looked at cheaper hotels near the airport first because I had a one night stay over between flights. Taxi / airport transfer would cost more than Hotel Cagayan because it’s close to the metro line, minimal cost, easy, quick and safe. I didn’t know the area, but I used google maps and then the hotel was easy to find, maybe a 12 minutes walk from the metro station. Also, from any metro in Istanbul you will have quick connections to downtown. Easy, and you avoid getting stuck in traffic during rush hours.
