Great location for the Olympia just across the road. Really friendly staff and good breakfast.

The communal areas could have been cleaner - stairs are long overdue a deep clean. Surge pricing meant we overpaid, then received a credit - but at the capped amount. It would be better to have a fixed price.

Tolle Lage in Kensington, wunderschön renovierte Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, was bei Londoner sommerlicher Hitze ein echter Traum ist. Ambiente beim Frühstück im Pub super, Essen sehr gut und Personal sehr freundlich!

Für uns junge Menschen waren die Stiegen kein Problem, wer nicht so gut zu Fuß ist, hat vielleicht Probleme zum Zimmer zu gelangen.

The room and bathroom were beautifully designed and presented. Breakfast here is a real treat - fresh fruit, yoghurt, yummy pastries if desired plus a wide selection of cooked options. A high standard of cuisine served in the public house area, looking out to bustling Olympia.

Stilvoll, authentisch, sehr sauber, freundliches Personal und gute Lage mit Anbindung an Bus und U-Bahn in Gehnähe. Ein weiteres Highlight waren fürs die Speisen zum Frühstück oder zum Diner im Pub. Wir haben unsere Zeit im Hand & Flower sehr genossen und würden sofort wieder kommen!

Etwas eng im Bad/WC, doch das ist dem Alter und Bauart des Gebäudes geschuldet und für uns kein Grund für Kritik.

Great Victorian pub. Cool, north facing room with air-conditioning. Room had good secondary glazing and was relatively quiet for location. The staff were particularly helpful and pleasant.

Fantastic historic pub/hotel with excellent facilities & very comfortable quiet room, food was also excellent. The hospitality was absolutely amazing with special thanks to David, Alicia & Jazz. Will definitely stay here again, thoroughly recommended.

Stayed here for 1 night for a gig at the ARC. Excellant locaton, literally on the door step. Room 1 has aircon which was needed during this heat wave. Staff are brilliant, big shout out to Carlos. Nothing was too much trouble.

L’espace de la chambre, la propreté, la gentillesse des employés, l’emplacement près du métro, bref très bien pour un voyage en famille.

Le seul bémol, il faut monter les trois étages avec les valises. Donc soyez avertis si c’est un non pour vous. De notre côté, on l’a pris pour un entraînement gratuit hehe c’est le prix à payer pour habiter un vrai pub anglais.

Sehr netter Hotel mit freundlichem Personal und super lebendigem Pub mit vielen Einheimischen. Wir waren zu viert im Zimmern mit zwei Teens. Eng aber London Like absolut ok! Super ruhig und gut geschlafen!

Room was extremely comfortable. Lovely big bed with quality bedding. Very powerful shower. The aircon was very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Very convenient for Olympia.

Jolie petite chambre bien décoré et agréable. Nous avons passer une très bonne nuit. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans le pub. Un vrai petit déjeuner anglais et vraiment bon et le serveur très gentil.

Fantastic stay, super spacious air conditioned room with extremely comfy bed. Well equipped with tea/coffee, fridge, water, fresh milk. Great choice for breakfast and considerate service.

We hosted a corporate event at the Hand & Flower whilst exhibiting at Olympia. It was perfect - right next to the venue, a great old-fashioned pub with a modern twist, friendly accommodating staff and great food. We had 65 people at our event and it was a great success! Thank you!

Spacious room, comfy bed, nice tea-tray, great breakfast. But the staff make it. I’ve stayed here before and always rate it. On this occasion, the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful after I had had my phone stolen in central London. David lent me his own mobile so that I could call my provider and get my details secured. I was a bit shaken and he even got me a sweet tea. Always a nice place to stay, and the reassurance of the staff makes you appreciate that sense security when travelling and staying away, especially as a woman alone.

Breakfast was excellent.

Es una casa Victoriana, y las habitaciones están decoradas en consonancia. Estilo art decó, posters gráficos en las paredes,etc. En general es un ambiente muy acogedor. Tener el pub abajo también facilitaba el tema de comidas o cenas. El desayuno combina un bufé bastante completo con opciones de carta, y la cocina es muy correcta. Finalmente, justo frente al hotel está la parada del 9 que te acerca al centro histórico de forma directa y parando en lugares emblemáticos por el camino. También tienes muy cerca el metro, la circle line -amarilla- queda a unos 5 minutos andando.

No nos dimos cuenta de que no tiene ascensor y las habitaciones están en el segundo piso. Cuando uno llega cansado después de patear Londres todo el día puede hacerse un poco cuesta arriba. La limpieza no era mala pero sí mejorable, había polvo acumulado en algunas zonas.

The bed and bedding were really comfy. Loved the ‘Bramley’ toiletries in bathroom; gorgeous smells! 😍 great breakfasts and dinner enjoyed; the pie and mash was superb!

Only downside to comfortable sleep was that on day / night of our stay was unusually warm and we couldn’t get air con to work.

Hôtel au charme British. Les chambres sont spacieux et confortables, la literie est confortable. L’hôtel se trouve à 200m d’un métro. Les petits déjeuner sont à la carte, très bon.

I came to London for the Ideal Home Show for the second year in a row, and after being so badly let down by where I stayed for last year’s event, I was a little nervous about the experience I was letting myself in for even I though it was a different hotel. However, I am very pleased to say that the difference was like night and day. The Hand and Flower is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and I have done a lot of trips away for events with most of them involving hotel stays. It has fantastic staff, excellent food and beautifully decorated rooms with an art deco flair, which are also of an impressive size considering this is the middle of London. I particularly liked the fact that although the building has old sash windows, they have secondary glazing. I had Room 3 and although it had four windows facing the road, the noise from the street was minimal and I slept soundly. The bed was also pretty comfortable. The room had fantastic decor and was generously proportioned, especially the bathroom, and had great low noise levels and comfortable bed as already mentioned. I couldn’t hear any noise from the pub downstairs, either. I also recommend booking a table for an evening meal if you’re attending an event at Olympia like I was and enjoy the great food that’s on offer here, which is also reasonably priced. The breakfast was amazing, also. Thank you Carlos too for allowing me to leave my bag with you while I was in Olympia. You and all the staff were amazingly friendly and I won’t hesitate to choose you again for any future events I attend.

My only reason for scoring a little less than ten is there were some minor issues with the room, but none of them were showstoppers. The light above the bed flickered while on so may need replacing (but there are plenty of others around the room to be fair); a couple of fixtures in the bathroom were a little loose and felt like they might fall off; one blind was permanently down (though it might have been for a reason); one blind chain wasn’t fixed to the wall like it should be for safety reasons; a small patch of damaged plasterboard near the door and some drawer handles felt sticky.

Le pub est un peu loin du centre et du métro mais offre la tranquillité la nuit. Près d'une ligne de train mais la chambre est bien insonorisée.

Stopped in for a bite, to eat, had a very enjoyable meal at lunch time, paid after a quick chat with our server about our plans and left. Within 5 mins this mad man was chaseing us back to olympia with my back pack that i had left in the pub.....so gratefull

We were greeted extremely warmly by Jazz and we were both extremely pleased with the look and feel of the hotel. Fantastic location for Olympia as it is just across the road and it has the number 9 bus stop outside which takes you to Harrods or The Ritz ! Breakfast was EXCELLENT with a good choice and it was presented beautifully, David the host with the most at was super friendly and could not do enough for us.

The most impressive aspect for me was the staff, I was in London to get tattooed and needed to stay the night this hotel was practically right next to the studio which was amazing. However it dawned on me that my 8hr booking was going to run over considerably longer than it should have and immediately messaged the hotel via booking.com. They were quick to respond and although I was working out plan B options aswell because it I wasn’t going be done until well after they had closed. Because I had check-in online already and I was so close they dropped off my room key to the tattoo studio. They went above and beyond for me whereas other places would have just said there’s nothing we can do and I’d would have been in london struggling to find a place to stay. I eventually got the hotel at 1:30am Breakfast was great, nice quiet atmosphere & friendly staff. The food arrived quickly and enjoyed every bite. He a couple of pastries before and after my food and they just hit the spot. I’d definitely stay here again.
