Vill skicka mina bästa hälsningar till Alex och hans kolleger i restaurangen, vilken härlig approach ni har till alla gäster🌟 Även pooltjejen Zoi med sitt glada leende och som servade gäster vid poolside. The view

A free shuttle into town is advertised on their booking.com site. Due to this facility, I booked the hotel even though it was out of the main centre. However, only arriving we were told it has not been in operation for the past 4 years. Without transport, I would not have booked this hotel.

Wij verbleven 10 dagen in Avalon Hotel en hebben over het algemeen een heel fijne ervaring gehad. Het is een hotel dat we zeker zouden aanraden! Kamer ✨ Onze kamer werd elke dag gepoetst. Het poetspersoneel was heel vriendelijk en kwam bijna altijd op het perfecte moment, wanneer wij net weg waren. De kamer zelf is vrij simpel, maar zeker in orde en proper. De grootte van de kamer was voor twee personen ideaal. Wij hadden gevraagd om een kamer op de bovenste verdieping met zeezicht en dit uitzicht was echt prachtig! Het bed was eerder aan de harde kant, maar zeker niet slecht. Er waren ook veel stopcontacten aanwezig, wat heel handig was. In de kamer hing een grote spiegel en de airco werkte perfect zoals het hoort. De badkamer is wel wat aan de kleine kant en er is weinig opbergruimte voor je spullen. Er is ook geen stopcontact in de badkamer, maar door de grote spiegel in de kamer was dit voor ons niet zo’n groot probleem. Er was een bad met douchekop, terwijl ik persoonlijk liever een gewone douche heb. Je ziet ook dat de badkamer al wat ouder is, maar alles was wel proper. Twee keer kregen we geen nieuwe handdoeken, maar toen we dit gingen vragen, kregen we meteen vier propere handdoeken mee. Dit werd dus snel en vriendelijk opgelost. Zwembad ✨ Het zwembad was voor ons één van de grootste pluspunten. Het was heel proper en had een aangename temperatuur. Er waren ook meer dan genoeg ligbedjes. Of we nu in de voormiddag, namiddag of avond kwamen, we vonden eigenlijk altijd plaats. Er hangt een leuke en gezellige sfeer aan het zwembad. De dame die de muziek regelt, is heel vriendelijk. Je kan drankjes bestellen en deze worden gewoon tot aan je ligbedje gebracht. Heel fijn! Ook het uitzicht vanuit het hotel en rond het zwembad is prachtig. Ontbijt ✨ Het ontbijt is eerder simpel, maar er is voldoende keuze. Er zijn veel Griekse opties, maar ook bijvoorbeeld spek, spiegeleieren, toast en yoghurt. Alles werd goed en regelmatig bijgevuld.

Same poor breakfast for the past couple of days. The coffee has an artificial, powdered taste, and the pool towels are clearly well-used and really need to be replaced. Definitely not what I would expect from a 4-star hotel.

Très bon séjour à l’Avalon Palace Hotel ! Le personnel est très accueillant et fait vraiment l’effort de nous comprendre malgré notre anglais limité, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Les chambres sont propres, la vue depuis la piscine est très agréable et le petit déjeuner est copieux. Nous avons aussi particulièrement aimé les petits chats qui se baladent devant l’hôtel, une petite touche sympathique qui nous a fait sourire.

Le seul point négatif est la télévision, qui est vraiment très ancienne et mériterait d’être modernisée.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Avalon Palace Hotel! The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a perfect space to relax after a long day of exploring.The dining experience was another major highlight of our trip. The food was consistently delicious, fresh, and offered a fantastic variety of choices every single day. A special, heartfelt thank you goes to the amazing restaurant team, especially our three fantastic servers: the two Alexandros and Alexandra. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly energy made every meal a delightful experience.The entire hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warm hospitality and exceptional service truly made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and cannot wait to return for another visit!

The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was big, comfortable with nice pillows. Air conditioning silent and working perfectly. The private pool was the highlight of the holiday with amazing view, nice sunbeds and pool towels provided. The staff was very kind and friendly, especially Thanasis at the reception and Alex at the bar/restaurant. They made us feel genuinely welcomed. The infinity pool and the terrace were beautiful, with stunning view, we enjoyed breathtaking sunsets while having meals and drinks. Breakfast buffet with plenty of sweet and savoury options. Every lunch, dinner, late bar bites we had were so tasty and the portions always big. The position of the hotel is really good, you can easily visit every part of the island with a rental car, parking was included and always available. Highly recommended!

If we really need to find some small details to be picky about, we would say it was a bit uncomfortable to not have anywhere to hang our towels in the bathroom and the curtains in the bedroom were not covering the whole balcony and letting all the daylight through as they were not blackout curtains. The private pool is not totally private as you have the bar terrace above and other rooms balconies, but we didn't have anyone bothering us.

The food was good and the staff was super kind.

The 3rd bed was not comfortable.

Amazing view of harbor and sea from room balcony and Infinity pool! The staff was very good and helpful including "the Alex's" crew. The breakfast buffet was a great Greek spread with almost anything that you may be hungry for. Just a short walk up an olive tree lined driveway, there is a small general store and two coffee shops for the daily Frappe and other items (snacks, Mythos beer and wine) for the week. We drove to many of the beaches, but the hotel had easy Sprinter van transportation for the other things like dinners in town. Parking is very challenging in August at night.

The bushes behind pool fence blocked some of the fantastic view from pool level, they should be cut down when tall.

Le bevande incluse nella mezza pensione specialmente a cena non mi hanno per nulla soddisfatto, vino della casa veramente scadente, una bottiglia d'acqua compresa nel prezzo ma se volevi l'altra dovevi pagare, camerieri gentili però nemmeno il tempo di finire che venivamo a togliere i piatti anche se non erano vuoti, asfissiante, caffè troppo caro e non era nemmeno buono

Came here for 5 days to rest. Best choice for it! The room and the pool had an excellent view. The place was clean all the time. I had an annoying beeping sound in the room, they even offered me a room change, without hesitation. Could rent quad with a good price. There is a great restaurant nearby, and a little shop if you need anything. Defenetly my number 1 choice if coming back! Caterina was the best!:)) all the staff at the bar and the reception was perfect, helpful!

In my opinion, drinks and beers are overpriced, would drink more if it wasnt that expensive.

Staff muito educado e prestavel. Estadia perfeita! Pequeno-almoço variado, localização muito boa, temperatura da agua da piscina muito agradável.

O ralo da piscina pode ser perigoso, suga a água com muita força. Pode puxar o cabelo de alguém que esteja a nadar e a pessoa não conseguir vir mais a cima.

O staff do hotel é maravilhoso. Os quartos são bons, cama muito boa. O café da manhã é farto e muito bom.

Gostei de tudo. Eu indico e com certeza voltarei.

La pulizia della camera non veniva effettuata,in una settimana non hanno mai cambiato le lenzuola e non sistemavano il letto,non mi è mai capitato altrove,credo sia un problema di carenza di personale delle pulizie.

Pontos positivos: funcionários extremamente educados e excelente café da manhã. Pontos negativos: precisa de carro para tudo, não tem nenhum comércio perto, as instalações são antigas e não fui informado com antecedência sobre o horário antecipado de fechamento da piscina nem sobre não poder utilizar a banheira. Paguei mais caro no quarto por essas acomodações e não consegui utilizar.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella suite con piscina privata per 2 notti. La stanza era stupenda, spaziosa e con una vista spettacolare su Zante. L'hotel dista 15 minuti dall'aeroporto e da Zante cittá.

La posizione panoramica che domina la citta' di Zante camera vista mare e piscina favolosa per il rientro dalle escursioni. la camera spaziosa, la colazione e la cena a buffet. Staff giovane e dinamico.

Il bagno con la vascae e la tenda e' da rivedere per un hotel a 4 stelle Inoltre i filtri dei condizionatori erano molto sporchi, ma questa e' una cosa comune negli hotel in grecia.

Tout était parfait. Le personnel chaleureux, les réceptionnistes agréables , les femme de chambre, les serveurs tous le personnel Top! La vue sur la mer est le point fort de l hotel. Propreté rien a dire, impeccable.

La bouffe, un peu type cantine.. rien d’exceptionnel, le petit dej c’est toujours le meme..

Esternamente la struttura è molto bella in una posizione fantastica. Colazione dolce salata molto varia ed eccellente. Abbiamo cenato un paio di sere a buffet e anche in questo caso tutto molto buono. Siamo rimaste soddisfatte anche per l'aiuto di reperire un auto per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Tutti molto gentili.

Purtroppo la camera non è assolutamente di un hotel di 4 stelle . In bagno la vasca con la tendina di plastica e il persistente odore di fogna fanno abbassare di molto la valutazione.. La pulizia e' superficiale. Biancheria letto e asciugamani da rivedere. Da una parte, i piedini del letto non appoggiano per terra quindi an ogni movimento era un dondolo. La porta del bagno è spaccata. In bagno è presente un citofono con fili che escono. Peccato.

La struttura è davvero ottima, uno di quegli hotel anni 90, ma con di tutto il rispetto, ben strutturato comodo e con una vista spettacolare su Zante. Inoltre, la piscina, dove potersi rilassare dopo il mare. La colazione è davvero buona, varia, con prodotti di buona qualità, ovviamente parliamo di colazione internazionale, con una buona presenza di piatti tipici. Inoltre, vorrei far notare la grande gentilezza da parte dello staff, che nonostante avesse tutto l’hotel Sold Out dedicava cure attenzione ai suoi ospiti, faccio un esempio molto banale, siamo arrivati la mattina presto in hotel e la camera ovviamente non era pronta, nonostante questo abbiamo avuto un ottimo benvenuto, ci hanno fatto posare i nostri bagagli in una loro stanza, ci hanno fornito la possibilità di utilizzare dei bagni, così da poterci cambiare e andare già al mare, e anche la possibilità di partecipare alla colazione, nonostante il nostro soggiorno sarebbe iniziato dalle ore 14:00. Questa può essere una piccola cortesia, ma che abbiamo tanto gradito. Unico consiglio che do ovviamente, se scegliete questo hotel tessere forniti di auto mezzo, però giusto per dirla tutta se posso consigliare a chi sta iniziando a strutturare un viaggio a Zante, dovete comunque averlo un mezzo, cambierà la vostra esperienza di viaggio, e questo tipo di Hotel sarà la vostra coccola, rientrando dalle spiagge stupende che vi offre questa isola.

The quality of the dinner was average at best. This was particularly disappointing, as there were some days when parts of the buffet were acceptable. Overall, however, the food at the hotel was a major disappointment.

I liked everything about the property and was having a very pleasant stay until 2 pieces of clothing were stolen from my room by cleaning staff. It could not have been and accident and I explained it to the staff - they didn’t seem to believe me and did nothing to help me find my matching set.

Το προσωπικό είναι το στολίδι του ξενοδοχείου αυτού. Μακάρι να εξασφαλίζει πάντα αυτούς τους συνεργάτες. Καθαριστές, καμαριέρες, σέρβις στο εστιατόριο πέραν κάθε προσδοκίας. Το κατάλυμα υπέροχο, με μαγευτική θέα, άνετους χώρους, ξεκούραστο ύπνο και άνετο πάρκινγκ. Ο μπουφές υπερπλούσιος και γευστικός, τόσο στο πρωινό, όσο και στο δείπνο. Περάσαμε τέλεια. Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ. Θα ξαναρθούμε.

Nous avons l’accueil de chaque membre du personnel. Nous avions une super vue depuis notre chambre. Bonne piscine avec bonne température. Le petit déjeuner rien à dire il y avait de tout sucré/salé. Parking gratuit.

Dommage que pour le dîner il n’y a pas beaucoup de choix au niveau des plats…

Hotel carino, personale bravo, molto simpatici i camerieri della colazione. Ottima la colazione, abbondante e varia. Posizione buona, fuori dal caos di Zante.

Puzza dal bagno, probabilmente dallo scarico. Una cosa che mi è dispiaciuta parecchio è che era consentito agli ospiti di fumare ai tavoli anche durante la colazione, l'ultima colazione ci è stata "rovinata" da una tavolo di 4 fumatori, aria irrespirabile tutto attorno. La fortuna ha voluto che fossero anche i vicini di stanza e che fumassero come l'ilva di taranto anche sul balcone accanto al nostro, costringendoci a tenere tutto chiuso.

Big room and great view, the pool was clean with a great water temperature and exceptional view down to the city. Big pool are with enough space for privacy- no fight for sunbeds! The staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed the local buffet. In the reception there was some information about how to take care of stray animals which is a great thing to provide!

One thing to note is that a rental car would be very helpful here if you don’t plan to stay in the hotel for the whole stay.

Es ist aufkeinenfall ein 4 Sterne Hotel ! Frühstück ist bodenlos. Keine Auswahl + das Essen schmeckt nicht. Generell das ganze Hotel ist extrem veraltet und sollte renoviert werden. Man hört sogar den Atem von den Leuten im nächsten Zimmer.

This hotel was a security risk. Our young children (girls) were threatened by a 1/2 naked drunk man banging on their room door at 1:30 AM. We didn't sleep the whole night so we could constantly check up on our kids.

Location was quite good

All the people were nice and the cleaner Anzela was very nice as well. However one lady (manager ) was rude and quite strict for no reason. Another thing to mention is there are no labels (occupy -not occupy) and they bother us all the time

Restaurant food is really bad. The manager kept on screaming around the hotel. She also screamed at a staff member in front of us. Really unprofessional and unnecessary.

La Suite n°7 spettacolare, pulita, comoda, privacy Top, ben organizzata, zona doccia davvero particolare, letto grande, la parte prima della piscina è un posto dove rassettare le tue idee e lo stress accumulato, poi i due lettini dove abbronzarsi e abbandonarsi alla veduta di ZANTE, .....e LEI, la magnifica e generosa piscina personale della Suite dove la parte a sfioro Ci ha permesso di "scattare" una foto che rimarrà per sempre indelebile nei Nostri ricordi. Hotel davvero chic, personale sempre gentile e attento con tutti, sempre col sorriso e pronto ad accogliere ogni Nostra richiesta. Alla reception, al bar del ristorante, il personale in piscina gentilissimi e soprattutto giovani e svegli. Il cibo per Noi conta poco in vacanza, ma devo ammettere che il buffet della cena era sostanzioso ed eccellente come scelta, così come la colazione. Ampio parcheggio, in 5 minuti di auto al lungomare del porto, città vivissima di turisti. A 5 minuti trovi Bochali, un posto panoramico dove la movida senza eccessi ti fa godere un'altra visione della città e una goduria la sera al tramonto. La posizione dell'Hotel è perfetta per andare ovunque.Siamo stati dappertutto in 5 giorni, Navajo spiaggia del relitto (che acqua color turchese mai vista!!), Gerakas, San Nikolas, Pelagakis, Wolf Rock, Makris Gialos, Blue Caves, Myzithres, Marathonisi, Cameo Island, una vacanza da sogno per Me la Mia dolce metà! Io non scrivo mai recensioni dettagliate, ma quando l'esperienza alloggio/location/ambiente naturale sono super, merita davvero tutto questo pensiero. Vogliamo anche menzionare i due gatti dell'hotel che abbiamo chiamato "Zante" e "Apollo", due felini furbetti e padroni dell'Avalon, ma mai invadenti! Si fanno accarezzare con tante fusa e quando capita che qualcuno ha paura o magari non è amante dei felini, vengono prontamente richiamati e momentaneamente allontanati (ma dura poco!! ah! ah!.) Andateci è eccezionale.

Nulla. da buon italiano il caffè espresso non è mai come in Italia, ma questo importa poco e vale in quasi ogni parte del mondo. In camera comunque trovi una ottima macchina Nespresso e le capsule, perfette per un ottimo caffè.

L'accoglienza è la disponibilità dei ragazzi della reception

Hotelul foarte fain amplasat , într-o livadă de măslini , camerele cu vedere la mare aveau o priveliște magnifică .. spațioase , curate , baile la fel , produse bune de igienă .. mic dejun variat , bun , calitativ .. recomand. În cameră am primit o șampanie de bun venit și ulterior și niște tichete “welcome drink” pentru a le folosi la piscină. Infinity pool .. apa caldă , o plăcere să stai înainte de cină să te relaxezi , doar ca se inchidea la ora 19.00 :( . Până in Zante cam 15-20 min de mers pe jos, dar la intoarcere este in urcare si sunt portiuni de drum unde nu exista trotuar. Parcare spațioasă , mereu găseam loc. La plecare , am primit un mic cadou, o amintire frumoasă! :)

Unicul inconvenient erau pisicile , foarte multe în parcare și se “cocoțau” pe mașini .. am găsit mașina cu multe zgârieturi, atât pe parbriz și pe capota. Dacă se merge cu mașina închiriată , nu cred ca este o problemă, dar cu masina personală, este!🥲 Ar mai fi de mentionat ca nu sunt uscatoare de rufe in balcon , dar poate in timp vor gasi o solutie.

Hotel molto curato con una piscina meravigliosa e una vista mozzafiato. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e ha sempre soddisfatto le nostre richieste. Ci hanno consentito di utilizzare la piscina l’ultimo giorno dandoci anche l’opportunità di lavarci, i ragazzi della reception sono fantastici e disponibili a soddisfare le richieste degli ospiti.

La doccia in camera andrebbe migliorata, perché c’è una vasca da bagno con la tenda ed è un po’ scomoda. Anche la pulizia delle camere non è risultata molto precisa, hanno lasciato delle tazzine sporche per tutto il soggiorno probabilmente per una svista però forse per un quattro stelle questo aspetto si potrebbe migliorare, cioè di dedicare attenzione alle camere. La colazione molto varia, le bibite come il caffè andrebbero sicuramente migliorate.

We zijn er een week geweest. Ontbijt is oké en wij hadden deze accommodatie voor iets meer dan 750 euro en dat was het waard .

La piscina è il pezzo forte della struttura, alta 1.20, calda e sempre pulita, con la vista mozzafiato sul mare, abbiamo preso la stanza sempre con vista, è valsa il prezzo di tutto il soggiorno. La colazione molto abbondante. Servizi di pulizia tutti i giorni. Struttura dotata di molti parcheggi per l’auto, anche all’ombra, Mini market raggiungibile a piedi vicino l’hotel. L’ultimo giorno ci hanno chiamato loro direttamente il taxi per l’aeroporto ed in 10 minuti è arrivato. Che dire, favoloso! Se dovessi tornare a Zante tornerei qui!

Unica pecca ed è il motivo del mio 9 e non 10. Nella stanza c’è la vasca e non la doccia, con la tendina poco igienica e non all’altezza dell’hotel. La colazione è sempre uguale, ma c’è talmente tanta scelta che ho potuto prendere sempre cose diverse

Checked in early and my room was made available to me as a priority, even offered breakfast while they got it ready, all staff were friendly and made me feel relaxed as I was staying on my own.

Room was clean but a bit tired and fridge noisy, bed nice and comfy. Pool bar was a bit pricey.

Our room was located on the ground level facing the pool and sea. Privacy is a bit compromised with no sheer curtain to draw if you want to have curtains open.

Soba je bila uredna, čista, prekrasan pogled sa sobe, osoblje je jako ljubazno - posebno želimo pohvaliti mlađu curu Kleio koja radi na recepciji, bila nam je od velike pomoći i jako jako ljubazna. Isto tako i dečko (gospodin) sa kraćom kosom koji nas je poslužio u restoranu ( ne znamo mu ime :)) ali sve pohvale osoblju. Što god nam je trebalo, dobili smo poprilično brzo te nemamo ni jednu zamjerku za ovaj hotel.

Jedino što bih izdvojila je što se sa terase gleda dolje direktno prema privatnim bazenima te bude neugodno za one koje su platili taj “privatni bazen”.

È possibile migliorare sempre qualcosa, La doccia con la tendina per un 4 stelle è molto brutta da vedere , il beverage dal distributore dei succhi troppo zuccherosi così come il caffè impossibile da bere.

We had a wonderful stay at Avalon Palace Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view from our balcony. We enjoyed a spectacular panorama of the sea, the port, the nearby shops, and the city. It was the perfect place to relax, especially in the evening. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you goes to the receptionist, Catherine, who was incredibly welcoming and always happy to help with any questions or requests. The complimentary bottle of champagne waiting for us upon arrival was a lovely welcome gift and made us feel truly valued. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and feature a large balcony. Housekeeping did an excellent job, cleaning the room every day and keeping everything spotless. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The stunning views, excellent service, comfortable rooms, and warm hospitality made our stay truly memorable. We would happily stay at Avalon Palace Hotel again.

There are just a couple of small areas that could be improved. The hotel could clean or replace the iron, as it was not in the best condition. Also, while the breakfast selection is excellent, guests staying for a longer period might appreciate a greater variety of hot dishes, as the menu becomes somewhat repetitive after several days. One more thing worth mentioning is the distance to the beach. Walking downhill takes about 20 minutes, while the return uphill can take close to 30 minutes in the summer heat. It wasn't a problem for us, but future guests should keep this in mind when choosing the hotel.

Location of this hotel is truly picturesque- on the cliff with the panoramic view of the Zakynthos old town which you can enjoy either from your room's balcony or open swimming pool. The food provided was really tasty. The main value of this place is the stuff - super nice and friendly, having also decent kind of humour - efcharisto Katherine!! PS. during the off-season it wasn't a big problem for a late check-out while we're having our flight in the afternoon- also appreciated!!
