I asked for an iron and ironing board and they only had a mini table top version. I’m sure they could splurge for a real ironing board and an iron that doesn’t leak. The beds are hard.

Bad sehr eng, allerdings gute Ablagefläche neben dem Waschbecken. Kühlschrank vereist. Küchenblock sollte modernisiert werden.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Very nice and quiet hotel, free coffee bar. Located close to the beach and some very good restaurants. There's a nice 18 hole Minigolf across the street which is free for hotel guests. Our family really loved it, we can only recommend this place for a stay in Parksville.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026The bed was super comfortable and the location was convenient for exploring the eastern side of the Vancouver Island. The mini golf across the street was very fun.
The room seemed to be in a worse condition than on the photos. The kitchenette in particular did not seem to work very well - the fridge underneath it had a sign that said 'out of order', which did not fill us with confidence. The parking lot was also very crammed and quite difficult to navigate.

Hier und da ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Kein Smart-TV, das Fenster bleibt nicht richtig offen und der Kühlschrank ist sehr laut. Wenn er startet, bin ich regelmäßig aufgewacht. Auch fanden wir eine fremde Socke im Zimmer. Sollte nicht vorkommen.

We had a Studio Suite with Kitchenette which was a lovely dual aspect room with loads of space. Easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. Plenty of off road parking. Good location right on the main road.

Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Freundlichkeit und Professionalität des gesamten Personals – man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Die Lage war perfekt für uns und die Coffee Bar war toll. Insgesamt eine rundum positive Erfahrung – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Extra blankets and better pillows would be nice but not a major concern.
