Quite noisey with the noise from local bar across the road, didn’t bother me but may bother others, it didn’t last too late either which was good

I was most surprised not to have a service each day, had to go and ask for more coffee, 1 little milk was given to last 3 days. Shower head kept falling down as would not stay up, room smelt mouldy, noise from next door guests went all night so had little sleep, the heater was not sufficient to keep room warm being 0 degrees

The owners partner was smoking weed and then came through the office before heading out to his car and driving off. He made the office stink while we were in there trying to sort the booking issue we had.

We came home around 9.30 pm and it was very hard to find the Motel in the darkness. No signage lit up. Need sensor lights around the building to see where you are walking..

We booked the Lake House and four other units for a family event and they were ideal. The Lake House was exactly what we needed for getting together for meals and socialising. In warmer weather the deck area would have been much used also. Ross was very obliging and helpful in preparing everything for us. The location was handy but outside the busy central town area, and the lakeside path just over the road was great for walking. Our accommodation was warm and comfortable and appreciated by all. The spa was an added bonus.

Nice and quiet. Easy to access. Close to 2 Mile Bay Sailing Club (Pub). Manager very helpful and accommodating for a late arrival.

staff were lovely, and we chose it because of its location to other family staying nearby. We dont know Taupo at all. Great to get an upgrade. The views were fabulous

I liked the room, where we stayed. The view from both sides was gorgeous, a lovely park area at th rear, and you can see the lake from the front.Sitting outside on the verandah just on sunset, was nothing more than perfection. I loved that we were able to soak in the spa pool, after along day on the road. I thought the bed was super comfy, and the room itself had everything I needed to be comfortable. Thankyou Ross, will visit and stay again, when I visit Taupo.

I can honestly say, I didn't see anything I didn't like.

From the beginning to end , Ross the owner was so accommodating. We chose this place as we have a small French bulldog and this is a very animal friendly motel. Perfect location for us .

Nous avons séjourné dans ce motel il y a 9 ans dont nous avions gardé un excellent souvenir mais nous avons été déçus cette année par l'état du logement qui n'a fait l'objet d'aucun rafraichissement depuis toutes ces années ni aucune amélioration, au contraire. Aussi des ustensiles de cuisine qui mériteraient d'être remplacés ( exemple grill pain et casseroles décatis...).

Sadly our accommodation hasn’t been properly cleaned for years. Thick dirt and grime around windows. All looks very tired. It’s a shame because it has the potential to be outstanding.

Fridge, nearly had to be on your hands and knees to use it. TV far too complicated to use despite lengthy verbal instructions

Decent location which was away from the main town.

Basic and tired room with below par equipment and kitchen utensils. Pub across the road is close by which means the music can be heard until late evening.

The owners are wonderful! Location is perfect for a family with kids and dog(s). Big grassy reserve is out the back gate, the patio to the family apartment can be blocked off easily, the lake and lakefront walkway access is just across the road.

The location was great, right by the lake. the manager was friendly and informative. The room was clean and spacious.

Comfortable with a lovely lake view from the balcony and from inside through. It's a good size and layout for family of four. Kids liked the trampoline. Friendly helpful staff - thank you!

The bathroom is older so is looking a bit tired. But it's spotlessly clean and nice bath products provided.
