Easy access to lake front walkway. Private outdoor seating area. Room had lovely spa bath. Well equipped.

We stayed at this property for just one night. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with our stay. As I’m a 195cm tall guy, I found the bed particularly small, hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The room itself was also quite small, and the furnishings and facilities appeared quite dated and in need of some updating. Considering the price, I don’t feel the accommodation offered good value for money. Thankfully, we were only staying for one night, so it was manageable for a short stay

*Bed (Too small or hard) * Tight spaces * Noisy, (thin walls) * Constant kids screaming in the carpark * Noisy carpark with vehicles closing doors throughout the night.

Great location, clean, decent space and spa. Good staff and service. Such a shame as there were two annoying problems - terrible hot water supply and internet / wifi.

Terrible supply of hot water and internet / wifi. Hot water didn’t even last until one person finished having their shower -.- So imagine the spa - starts filling warm, and then it turns cold, so you can’t even enjoy the in-room spa properly. Ugh! And you got to wait for over 2hrs for the hot water to replenish. 😒🙄😒

It was very cosy, had a homely feel and was the perfect size for my whanau. Was very immaculate, clean and would definitely do a longer stay.

It is old and tired, the carpet is old, the place is wooden, just old.

I brought my dog and it was great having an enclosed patio and just been able to walk diwn the path to the lake and the waterfront walkway. It was quiet serene and peaceful ❤️

Rooms 2 & 5: We were looking for a place where we could bring our family pet - dog. Our rooms were delightful, though we didn't really need the SPA as we were very busy. Thank you for the milk, it was lovely to be able to make a hot drink after arriving. Lots of towels available - great. Loved the red face cloths and hand towel.

We were very happy so there's no need to write anything in this box.

We booked with our little dog. Door went straight onto courtyard for her to go out. Spa in our bedroom. Lovely view to Lake and easy 1 minute walk. Clean and comfortable. Separate living from bedroom.

Ran out of hot water. Heater didn't work in the bathroom.

Proximity to Lake and town. Quiet and felt private and comfortable.

Loved the location and ease of check in and out. The on site laundry was excellent as was the spa in the bedroom.

We slept so well as my partner was recovering from surgery, stayed an extra night . Staff 💯. Spa was wonderful even though only I could use it. Very easy with our foxy doggie too

Room is old and dirty... you can tell from the dust and the web on the lamp shade. And the small room under the stairs need to be cleaned. Its not a storage for unwanted items.. its guest coat room. Need exhaust fan in the kitchen and bathroom. I just toast my bread and the fire alarm went off. I didn't burn it though

The studio was clean and very spacious. We loved the spa and overall stay was excellent.

Only the wifi is a bit slow.

Location. Dogs are welcome too.

No fan in the bathroom which was slightly inconvenient cause everything gets wet from the condensation.

Duplex cottage setup with jacuzi on 1st floor

The worst thing to know that i booked for my family considering the room as lake view as described on booking.com. The receptionist who was not that friendly mentioned that they dont have any lake view rooms and despite i showed that what they are claiming on website, she just said sorry but i found cheated and my son was sad to know that.

Great spot to stay when travelling from Auckland to Wellington. Easy to find, on the main road, but wasn’t disturbed by road traffic. Friendly staff and the room had everything I needed. Would book a unit if staying longer than one night.

Had to use the heat pump and the fan heater to get the room to a comfortable temperature. No heating in the bathroom which made it feel cold and damp.

Our room completely lived up to our expectations. We spent one night in this beautiful, peaceful location with direct access to the lake. We were travelling with our dog and the stuff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean, cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back)

Excellent location, close to everything we wanted to see in Taupō, and great value for money. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. The private spa was more of a jacuzzi than a pool, but it worked perfectly and was a lovely way to relax. The lavender bubble bath provided was a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more enjoyable.

This is only a minor point, but both my partner and I experienced some mild allergy symptoms during our stay. It may simply have been due to winter dust or the season rather than the accommodation itself. Guests with dust sensitivities may want to take an antihistamine beforehand, and an air purifier in the room could be a nice addition for those with allergies.

Very convenient as a stopover. Pet friendly and great private outdoor area for each unit.

The units don’t need the extra lounge chairs as they just take up space.

Loved how we had a ;private courtyard. Great for our dogs. The room was comfortable, clean, had good heating, shower pressure and everything we needed. Handy location, nice and quiet.

The bed was a little on the small side and the electric blanket was a single laid across the bed which made it uncomfortable having the cord connector in my back. Pillows weren't the best.

Close to the town

It was pretty cold, the stairs up to the bedroom had no rail so kids can fall off - the outside deck wasn’t safe at all when you stood on it- it sunk a little so very rotten and unsafe needs some maintenance!

The room had a Jacuzzi and the location was great. The laundry was so convenient. The staff were amazingly friendly.

We could have asked for a room with a view… but since we were away working, that was not sought. We came back to this motel in darkness and there was no illuminated sign to help with turning into the premises… Nice to be confident when about to turn in traffic.

The room had a very strong and unpleasant perfume smell that ended up impregnating all my clothes. No matter how much I ventilated, I was unable to get rid of the perfume.
