Everything. Clean. Friendly staff. Great location.
Location, cleanliness
Paper plates, cups and plastic cutlery at breakfast
The sheets didn’t fit the bed
The staff was very helpful and energetic. Things to do right on the property with lawn games, the fire pit and s'mores with happy hour. We did see a shuttle but didn't use it, but others did and loved it.
Being a smoker, we had to go to the street. We understand that people don't like vape or smoking, but many hotels do have a spot where they can go on property.
Easy to find, easy parking. Nice outside fire pit area
Clean, comfortable room, well-stocked with towels and supplies. Top notch breakfast, pleasant staff, nice view of the marina, easy walk to the Park Point beach, and an easy walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park. Fun touches for families, like a S’mores bar for kids and snacks during happy hour.
Over the Labor Day weekend, staff struggled a bit to keep up with the demand for hot breakfast items (sausage patties, potatoes, and coffee all ran out but were quickly replenished).
Breakfast was very good
view was amazing
would have liked an ice machine
The staff is friendly and accommodating! Our room was clean and roomy with great harbor views from our balcony! Perfect location!
Loved the location. Close to downtown without being right in it.
Wonderful location. We had a harbor view room with a balcony. Room was set up nice, clean and it was fun sitting out on the balcony overlooking the marina. A little pricey, but the view was worth it. A 20 minute walkover the canal bridge and there were numerous restaurants.
We loved our stay at Park Point, it is close to everything that Canal Park has to offer! We would stay here again.
Park Point Marina Inn was a very clean, bright, and welcoming hotel. The views were exceptional, and the customer service was outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend! ⭐️🌊
The hotel was clean and within walking distance to Franklin Square Beach. The disappointment was the shuttle. My family and I took the shuttle from the hotel into town & dropped off near Grandmas for dinner but unfortunately the shuttle driver “forgot” to pick us up, as arranged. Luckily it’s less than a 15 minute walk back to the hotel but not ideal at 9:30pm with kids.
Clean and quiet. The breakfast was also good. We loved that the hotel was walking distance to Canal Park and 12th street beach.
Great location, comfortable beds, amazing breakfast, nice pool and sauna
Shuttle bus service was reserved for private wedding party on Saturday during peak times for dinner was inconvenient and ruined our dinner plans for Saturday night and enjoying the canal Park. Felt we should have been offered compensation as it was advertised during our booking.
Loved the shuttle service over the bridge to area shopping and dinning. Appreciated all the extras …smores bar, outdoor fire pit and games.
Waterfront - Best hotel breakfast anywhere - S'mores Bar - Corn Hole - Sauna + Hot tub + Pool - Lemon Towels in the Lobby - CLEAN - great beds and pillows - 5 Star Staff - free all-day shuttle bus into Canal Park - sand toys for the kids! They really thought of everything.
This is a great little spot just a little away from the busy atmosphere of Canal Park. We love this place and all the little things they do to show their guests they care. The s'more bar is such a great treat and everyone is so nice at the breakfast buffet in the mornings. We really love our stays here!
Very nice place to stay. Great view of the marina. Staff was incredibly helpful.
Location, patio, sauna/hot tub, breakfast, overall feel of the hotel, that each room has a balcony.
The pool was out of service, which was very disappointing because it was what our kids were looking forward to. There was no half and half or cream available at breakfast for the coffee. The beds were a little uncomfortable- very firm. The “extra bed” was an air mattress (as opposed to a folding bed) that wouldn’t stay inflated.
If you are looking for a place to bring your family on vacation to the North Shore, Park Point Marina Inn is the perfect choice. You are minutes from Canal park, downtown Duluth and beaches galore. If you can, the harbor view is well worth the price alone. They have fun amenities such as happy hour (for the adults), a smores bar (for the kiddo's). One detail I notices(more so my husband) is that they pay attention to their pool and how clean it is. My husband is a CPO (certified pool tech) and when we got there, the pool was closed since there was an accident. Whoever is keeping an eye on that pool does a good job checking the levels of chemicals in there. (Also ya'll might need new plaster soon in his opinion heh)
Lack of customer service at front desk checking in as well as out. 2 reps at front desk and no one greeted us! Watered down coffee in the am and went with out. Property is lovely, staff not so much.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Park Point Marina Inn. I appreciated all the attention to detail and cleanliness of the property. Everything was perfect for my 7 and 9 year old. We enjoyed walking to the beach during the day and then spending time playing the yard games and having s'mores in the evening. We will definitely be back.
Size of room, gift shop, helpfulness of staff
Breakfast not to our liking.
Location
Crowded breakfast room
Easily walkable and great location to the lift bridge canal park and beach! Breakfast buffet was amazing and Manual was super busy keeping everything full and hot!!
view of port
watery coffee. :-(
This hotel has comfortable beds, well appointed rooms with great views and balconies. The staff is friendly and helpful and the setting on the Marina is fun and entertaining. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Exceptional place to stay! Staff are friendly and helpful, setting is awesome. Rooms clean and well appointed and comfortable. Amenities like pool, outside games, and proximity to Duluth’s waterfront are the icing on the cake. Lastly, they have the most amazing breakfast I’ve seen at a hotel. Highly recommend. Will be back. Thank you!
Went with my grandchildren and they enjoyed the pool and the breakfast buffet. The adults appreciated the location. Would definitely stay there again.
We loved our stay at park point marina Inn. We were on a sisters trip. The price was very good and the room was great with the balcony to watch the boats! Loved the shuttle service and the staff were great! !
Very clean and accomodating. Friendly staff. They even had pool toys and sand toys for kids to play with. Breakfast was great, lots of options. I would definitely stay again.
Suite not worth it, paid extra for suite with sofa bed, mattress was so thin could feel the springs and bars. Couldn't use sofa bed that we paid $$$ extra for the sleeping space.
Location is great and they offer shuttle service to and from Canal park which was much needed during our 100* temps. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the HH s’mores were a huge hit with my Grandson!
Pool was super cold!! And we didn’t get the room we booked. Also, the playground really isn’t a playground, more just one little climbing apparatus.
Very cute. If there wasn’t an air quality alert, we would have enjoyed the outdoor amenities.
Honestly there was so much to like about it.
We had an excellent stay at Park Point Marina Inn. The room was very clean , comfortable beds and pillows also! The friendly staff was great! Thank you
I liked the location. Near a beach. Close to downtown. Very clean. Breakfasts were delicious and fresh.
I loved the location. The room was nice. We really enjoyed having the balcony. Breakfast was good too and the staff were nice.
My only complaint is that there was some garbage next to the bed from the previous guest. The room appeared clean but it made us wonder how well it was cleaned.
Great location! Very nice rooms and balconies! Good breakfast!
Maybe a slightly bigger lobby and breakfast area would have been nice.
Bike rental was good, location perfect, friendly staff. The balcony was great.
Pool area was very strong chlorine, burned our eyes. Air mattress (x2) both went flat through the night
We enjoyed our one night stay at Park Point Marina Inn when we traveled up to Duluth for the airshow with our 2 young kids. We had never stayed there before and loved the location being in the harbor and across the bridge. It was very quiet and peaceful. The Inn is very updated, rooms were clean and updated and beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a lot to choose from. We would definitely stay again - hopefully for more than one night!
The Park Point Marina Inn is a great choice to stay for families. The offer a full breakfast. Great rooms and a ton of amenities. Rooms are a little on the high side for cost but ultimately worth the experience. Definitely a gem in Duluth.
I cannot express how much we love this location. The staff is so nice, there's a shuttle to take you to Canal Park if needed (but it's totally walkable), there's a s'mores bar, the breakfast selection is amazing, and the rooms with balconies are worth the upgrade. This visit was a return for us - we were celebrating our anniversary and found a handwritten note from the PPMI team with some gift coupons for local places as well as a drink at their little bar! It's been our preferred hotel in Duluth before and this stay cemented that - I'm already telling friends & family!
Great location!
The swimming pool was super small and cold. We went into the hot tub instead. So nbd.
Property had a birthday party for local kids. Pool ended up being closed due to a child getting sick. We asked to be upgraded to harbor view and was rudely told no. We eventually paid $40 for the upgrade after 6pm which the staff was later heard laughing over how they got extra money out of us. Many times the referred to the fact that we used Expedia instead of booking through them. Bad way to start out a nicw trip with friends.
Location was perfect! Rooms are big and clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly.
NA
Location is good, nearby the lake. It is convenient to drive to different interesting sites around the cities. Room is spacious in general. Breakfast are at common standard in the US with hot foods. Parking free is friendly for all the guests travelling around the US.
Everything!
Location and amenities
Nothing really
The breakfast was great, lots of places to sit. Beds were very comfortable, shower was good. Even though we were in a hallway filled with a traveling sports team, you wouldn't be able to tell. Couldn't hear any neighbors. They were completely booked, but had available space for us to park our trailer. No funky smells in the hallway or room.
It was really neat to be able to see the lift bridge from our room, but we seemed to time our travels perfectly with the bridge being up when coming and going each time. It lifts every 30 minutes and the traffic backs up regularly.
Great value for this room. It is perfectly aligned with well known mid range hotel brands as far as comfort and amenities..but for a slightly better price...with a good view of the marina as icing on the cake!
Staff was excellent!
We were unable to use the facilities to their fullest. We plan to be back .
Friendly staff. Clean room with a deck and great view. The breakfast was wonderful. Convenient location to walk to Canal Park.
The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious every day. The balcony off our room and view of the marina were extra perks. Thanks for a great stay!
Fire alarm…
Super comfortable beds, clean room and public areas, great location!
Weekend prices are very expensive!
My favorite part was using a bike for free to explore the piers and shopping areas. The breakfast was good, hotel was clean and staff were nice. But the fitness room was tiny and had no drinking water, the view was not great and there were no nearby walking paths. They advertised S’mores in the evening but it actually was not available on Friday nights. So at $500 I guess I expected more than the average hotel. I’ve stayed at much nicer hotels for less.
Great experience all around. Value, cleanliness, hospitality, amenities. Highly recommend. I will come back again
The guest service, rooms, beds, and location are all excellent. Breakfast is better at most hotels at this level nowadays. The waffles are very popular because the other items are pretty low quality.
Very nice hotel with parking, pool, breakfast. Walking distance to Lake and restaurants.
It was comfortable and clean, and a short walk to the marina.
Could not walk to restaurants and shopping.
Great location for the marathon. It was convenient to Canal Park, but also off the beaten track a bit to allow for relaxing on the balcony with the harbor view.

No smoking on property had to go to the street to smoke
Location was convenient.
Paid for harbor view. Got a 1st floor room not a good view. Wasn’t worth the extra money.
Friendly staff, great rooms with a balcony and harbor view all at a reasonable price!
Great location. Easy walk to amenities of Duluth. Nice little pub. Really good breakfast.
We were given a room with a balcony on the first floor so what we looked over was the grill of a Chevrolet and the parking lot. There was a fire emergency in the middle of the night and no one seemed to know what was going on or what it is that we needed to do as guests. The pool and exercise room towels are way too small and the exercise room needs a bit more space outside of the machines.
Breakfast was great! Loved the “toppings” bar!
Price???
Large rooms, crib available for baby, s’mores at night and varied breakfast in the morning. Great location as well. Would recommend!
It was quite
Pretty view
The hotel was nice and about four blocks to the Lyft bridge that you walk over to get downtown so the location was pretty good. It was nice being on the harbor and breakfast was good. The accommodations were overall very nice, but felt it was a little pricey to be there.
Nice deck view of the bay.
Had a little trouble with the microwave, but in fairness it may have been because it was different than we were used to. Didn’t really use it so we didn’t bother contacting them. I’m sure they would have taken care of us if we had, but it was not a real problem for us.
The hotel is located in at beautiful setting. I had come to Duluth for the Republican State Convention. I rode my motorcycle to Duluth from southern Minnesota. The convention adjourned around 10:00 PM, so I was concerned that there might not be any parking left- even for a motorcycle. So I was delighted to see that there was a "motorcycle only" parking spot waiting for me when I arrived. I didn't have much time to explore the property, but everything I did see was impressive.
The bar closes at 10:00 PM, and I arrived at 10:15. However, I was sold a fine IPA to take to my room.
Die Lage
Would have liked the smores time to be available for longer time and days. Also, for it to be looked at/refilled, during the time it was available. An outdoor fire would have been nice.
Nice hotel with a good view. spacious rooms big enough for a pack and play. Good breakfast buffet. My kids had a lot of fun there. And its close enough to everything
Hotel was clean and comfortable
The view was mainly of boats docked in marina. Outdoor fire was not lit. Dining area, bar and fireplace seating was small and rather basic.
Great experience,we love it

Was out in a handicap room
I really enjoyed my stay at the Park Point Marina Inn. The location was easy to find, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast area was comfortable, and the coffee was good. I enjoyed relaxing in the whirlpool and loved the S'mores bar set up in the afternoon.
Very cozy room and hotel. Beautiful view. Great customer service. Convenient but quiet location. Clean. Fair prices. Great stay!
This was a very comfortable place, I had a standard room and was pleasantly surprised to find it had its own balcony. Although I ipted for the side that did not face the harbor, I still had a beautiful view of the lift bridge and the hill was beautiful at night with all the lights of the town. The room and all premises were extremely clean. The breakfast was great with catering dishes of scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with ham mixed in, sausage links, there were several kinds of breads, muffins and there were also English muffins with a toaster commercial kitchens use. You can make your own waffles, there was yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, and a toppings buffet that included strawberry sauce and cocnut for the waffles, fresh fruit, and also cheese and salsa for the eggs. Could not ask for a better experience all around. Definately will be back!
The free breakfast was great! A variety of food and drink is available. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were nice.

Location, staff, view, amenities…it was perfect for us!
We really love this property! The location, the service, the amenities! It had everything we needed. Will be back!
We have stayed here many times over the years and have always been satisfied and liked everything about Park Point Marina Inn. That is why we keep coming back. It is clean, quiet, great location, great breakfast and just overall perfect for our needs. It is the best value for a reasonable price. We usually are not staying there during peak times because we are retired and we try to avoid the busy times. We try to come during the week and not on weekends if we can help it.
We like everything. That’s why we keep coming back.
Very thoughtfully laid out hotel.
Excellent. They had great variety and was good.
Very clean. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at. Hot tub was even clean!!
This was a lovely hotel. Rooms clean and comfy. Our room was overlooking the water -- what a view! Lots of great amenities. Tiny area behind reception that serves cold beers and premixed drinks. Not really a bar, but good to grab a few beers. Shower was not so great, more dribble, dribble drip -- something hard to understand when you're looking at 3 billions gallons of fresh water. Breakfast fine. Excellent location. Lots of restaurants nearby, walking distance to downtown Duluth, with a free shuttle. This is a great hotel to take a short or long break. Staff lovely. Did I mention the location??? Perfect for touring the North Shore.
I’ve stayed here multiple times and I’m never disappointed. It’s close to the canal but far enough away to be peaceful. Rooms are always clean and staff is very accommodating. Love the s’mores bar as a special treat.
