This is a lovely hotel in a great location which has a exceptional roof bar

Unfortunately our whole stay was nearly ruined by by a very rude lady on reception who when asked if she could sort us a white taxi to the port was really put out, I then asked for a copy of our invoice only to be told she had already given me a copy - This was not the case. Her whole attitude was awful. I need to point everyone else in the hotel from a different lady who checked us in to the staff on the roof bar where excellent. It’s a shame we left feeling really annoyed especially as this is not a cheap hotel - manners should be top of the list when dealing with customers and I would not want customers leaving feeling the way we did.

The roof top and bar were not opened yet when we were there.

The room was a modern take with old world charm. The AC was quiet and cool, the water was hot and the shower was excellent! The breakfast pastries were so very delicious! We ordered one of their pizzas and a bottle of wine and ate up on the top out door garden area. There was a street band playing a few streets over and it added a perfect touch to the evening.

no place to put any toiletries. Could read in bed - Chic but uncomfortable. Room service horrible. bar tender did not know how to make drinks. a want to be but definitely not there yet sort of place. We were sorry we stayed there.

Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und bemüht. Die Lage top! Zimmer war sehr großzügig. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Leider gab es im Badezimmer zwei mal Kakerlaken, die wohl durch den Duschablauf kamen. Das Personal hat diese dann entfernt.

The location was central and within walking distance of cafes, restaurants and boutiques. The Bell Man, Rashid, was the highlight of our stay. He went out of his way to ensure our family was taken care of, especially when the front desk staff (Ricardo) treated us rudely and disrespectfully.

The DOM hotel front desk staff member, Ricardo, was the rudest and most disrespectful staff member I have ever encountered at any hotel - and I am genius level 3 at Booking, so I have stayed at a lot of hotels. He single-handedly almost ruined our vacation, if Rashid had not stepped in with some humanity, empathy, and courtesy. I made a mistake when I was booking and entered 1 adult and 1 child instead of 2 adults and one child. When we arrived to check in, we realized this mistake and Ricardo was completely inflexible and lacked empathy for our situation. He gave us only 2 options- leave the hotel and forfeit all 3 nights payment we had made or book another room that was not connected for double the cost, in addition to having either my son in a disconnected room (unsafe) or my husband separated from the family. Imagine arriving for a vacation you’ve been planning and this was the result. He had no empathy for how difficult both options would be for us and repeatedly made faces at us in disrespect. He offered no opportunity for us to pay extra to stay in our current room which had a king size bed and could actually fit 3 or bring in a rollaway bed. The options were - Pay double for your family to be separated or cancel and forfeit all 3 nights payment. It was horrible. This situation took 2 hours to resolve. He had us wait in the lobby for 2 hours with no solution until Rashid (the bell man) intervened with the Hotel Manager to come up with a creative solution. In addition to this, we had several issues with our hotel experience. It was NOT 5 stars. The room beside us had construction all day and they knew this and put us in a room with all day knocking and drilling until we complained. Everyday after we came back to the hotel, the room door would not shut. Every time housekeeping left our room, they left the door open. It would open without a key because it never actually shut because the mechanism was not working properly.

Terrace was closed which was very disappointing. We chose the hotel primarily because of the terrace bar and restaurant.

The hotel was very clean and in a good location. We reached all of the sites by foot and a good selection of restaurants were within a 10 mins stroll. What made our stay was the staff. They were always so friendly and polite, and nothing was too much trouble for them. I didn't realise I needed a copy of my passport for ID when I booked for the Colosseum tour but I made a phone call to the hotel and they immediately emailed the copy they had on file to my phone. The staff definitely made our stay special.

Although our room was double glazed, the noise of sirens late at night and deliveries early in the morning woke us up. The breakfast was very limited, although very nice. My main complaint was that, as with all modern hotels, the room was very dark. It was not easy to apply make up due to the harsh overhead lighting. There were no mirrors near any windows, so I could not use natural light. Also, there was very limited space to either hang or store clothes. It was definitely style over substance.

Staff were very friendly and tried to be very accommodating. The room was clean with high ceilings. Location is accessible to many central attractions.

The hotel is located in a narrow street facing a station guarded by officers with machine guns. We covered our windows by curtains since the staff in the building across the street could view everything in our room. You could hear the street noise at night, although the street traffic at was relatively low at night time. The room furniture appeared dated, although clean. Streets in the Pantheon area surrounding the property are not very clean.

Hotel was excellent, loved it. The location is superb all the main attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was great, small but perfectly formed as was the hotel itself.

Dom was a good location to walk to Vatican and Colosseum , restaurants plentiful within walking distance. The staff are very friendly. It’s a very boutique hotel with a small bar and a restaurant we had a meal here it was good quality but a bit basic, could do with vegetables on the side.

The room was a bit stuffy couldn’t get the air on to work.

Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Rome. We visited all the sights within 30 minutes walking. The hotel in a quiet area and felt completely safe walking to at night. The style of the hotel was boutique and very comfortable. We had an amazing room with a rooftop terrace. The reception staff were extremely polite and friendly. The breakfast waiter was lovely and efficient. The porter was polite and courteous. It was an amazing stay and I did not want to go home. The room was exceptionally clean and housekeeping did an excellent job. I repeat it was a wonderful stay and we wish we were still there. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Coffee delicious as were the eggs. I just wish I had more time in the morning to indulge more.

Their location was fabulous and centrally located by walking to all the major sites of interest. The ambiance of the DOM, displayed such historic and yet modern influences of Rome, and our room was spotless, crisp, and cozy! All the hotel staff were friendly and so helpful! We enjoyed our morning chats with Alexander, over a delicious breakfast buffet. Thank you, for a sensational stay in Rome. We will be back!

Lovely hotel in an excellent location, within walking distance of many of the main attractions of the city. We were originally offered a rather dark room on the top floor but this was quickly changed to a different room on request, which was much lighter and brighter. Staff all speak excellent English and go out of their way to be helpful.

Lovely ambience, great location, staff excellent - indeed they were faultless. Happy, smiling, willing to help, warm welcome.

Very little. The room is showing small amounts of wear and tare - the shower for example felt as though it might need looking at soon. But these are small points only.

Breakfast was very good. All the Staff were helpful, friendly and charming in the morning and the evening. Location is terrific with most sites within walking distance.

Continental frokost meny var god. Velsmakende og fin start på dagen. Rommene var rene, luftige og sengene utmerket. Vi sov veldig godt. Det var stille om natten.

Vi fant det underlig at serveringspersonalet, som møter gjester ved frokost og vår start på dagen, var i såpass flatt humøret. Kanskje de ikke satte så pris på å jobbe i romjulen?

No hot water. After 4 complaints, the responsible staff person lied and said Italian law required the boiler to be no more than 50C and that hot water in the room was limited to 43C, which it wasnt anway as videos we took show our hands placed under full hot water from the tap without any pain. At best it was tepid. Our intelligence was entirely insulted.

This beautiful hotel was right in the middle of everything we wanted to see. It’s updated and posh! Will stay there again.

Our suite had a private balcony which was perfect for early mornings and winding down in the evening. The staff was professional yet very friendly and always available to assist with any need.

Staff are fantastic, very friendly with excellent English but happy for you to try your broken Italian if you want. I wish I had written down the names of the staff so I could thank them by name in this review as they deserve it. They also gave us great suggestions for local restaurants. The rooftop restaurant Verve is brilliant. We had an amazing 6 course degustation meal there and I highly recommend you try it. Hotel is on a quiet street, and rooms are whisper quiet yet walking distance to the Centro and also the Trastevere to eat at night (which I highly recommend). I would also mention the hotel very thoughtfully advised me of a transportation strike the day of my departure and organised a taxi for me. That is excellent service as I wouldn't have known otherwise. Finally, I had room 24 which has a private terrace. It was amazing, and if you are happy to splurge a little, it is well worth it. Had friends over for drinks as the sun set over the Rome rooftops and created some brilliant memories.

Water pressure and temperature of the shower could be upped a little. Lift wasn't working when I was there, but I didn't mind using the stairs at all as the hotel ambience is so nice. Any bags or heavier items were gladly taken care of by the staff.
