I had a very pleasant stay at Verwood Hotel & Serviced Residence Surabaya. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, making it perfect for both short and long stays. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit, always ready to assist with any requests. The location is strategic, with easy access to restaurants and main roads. Facilities such as the swimming pool and gym were also well kept. Overall, this hotel offers great comfort and value, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Surabaya. everything is good! thank you so much, we will back here again.

Best hotel for my honeymoon due to the ambience so quite and relax, the staff helpful from check in, good breakfast, lovely romantic dinner and sweet little towel surprise in my room, thanks for memorable stay ❤️

Cozy environment; spacious apartment; friendly staff both at reception and restaurant

Stayed in 3 bedroom apartment. 1. Apartment is not well kept- furniture fittings looks old and outdated.. a) the airconds are very old and not well maintain..noticed that living room aircond got water dripping and the remote control is not functioning well too ( can only switch on/off) b) shower in bathroom is also quite old .. not thoroughly clean..likewise with toilet. In the master bedroom’s bathroom, there’s stagnant water on the floor.. could not drained out properly! c) Towels are provided but are also quite “ old”.. the colour is no longer white 🤭🥴 2) No carpets in bedrooms. Not that comfortable especially when we want to place our praying mat for solat… 😢 3) Kitchen equipment also looks like it has been there for many2 years.. don’t think we could use it.. had to clean the hanger first before we could use it! Very dirty! 4. This apartment unit really need to be thoroughly clean..especially the middle bedroom! Had reported those issues at the front office which they promply acted on it.. ie.. got the cleaner to clean the apartment properly. However the issues on stagnant water, old towels, airconds remained. Hotel owner need to really look into these matters ASAP..

The first rooms we had were dirty

部屋の窓にカギ（ロック）が無く完全に閉める事が出来ないので外の騒音が入って来る。 風が強いと窓を閉めてあっても隙間が大きくなり外の騒音がかなりの音で聞こえて早朝のお祈りの音で起こされた。ロックはちゃんと着けて欲しい。 あと自分は固定のシャワーが嫌いなのでそれはちょっと困る。 スタッフ等　この2点以外は特に問題有りません。

The food in the restaurant is very good. You can also order food via Grab. Bluebird taxi is fast.

Hotel is quite old The Service is average. The hotel charges fee if you asked to clean the room more than the allocated daily make up room. The bathroom and the toilet are dated. Could use major renovations . The are of the hotel is ok, with a lot of restaurants and good food around. Overall, Would need to improve its services and be better hospitality

The staff are friendly and have a good location

The air-con has not been working well for the past 2 years and this visit remained the same. Don't waste time. Look for other hotels. Booking.com will never show this review as I don't find any individual reviews at all.

As per usual, the breakfast was excellent, staff were very helpful and our stay was very comfortable. Our previous stay in an apartment was a little disappointing, but this time everything was great.

Business trip through Java, stayed in one of the apartments. Very comfortable and, as usual, the staff, service and breakfast are excellent. Easy access to the tol and city Grab meals or room service are easy options.

今回の部屋はテレビは映らないので替えてもらったが、変わった部屋は冷蔵庫の扉が壊れていた。

I HAD A RELAXING TIME.

インドネシアに行くと毎回このホテルなので安心感はある。　水廻り等に多少気になる点はあるが気に入っています。

Helpful, friendly staff who agreed to refund the remainder of my stay after I decided to move out early because hotel was so disappointing. Comfortable room with TV accessible for HDMI.

Lukewarm water in bathtub, the reason I booked in the first place. Property is miles from the nearest convenience store and restaurants, and most nights the restaurant in the hotel was closed, so you can only eat food on a low table in the smoke-filled bar. There is no shop in the hotel, so even drinking water must be delivered by taxi.

We stayed here, because my brother in law chose it, and it was a good choice. The staff was friendly and professional, the rooms looked great, the bathroom was clean, however, a few pieces of the ceramic tiles were loose, and the shower system could use some repairs. Only the rooms and hallway had a bit of an odd smell, the same as entering the hall of the hotel. During breakfast, you have a lot of choices with food and drinks. The bar: the 3D foam on the cappucino really looks nice. The swimming pool: nice and clean. Next time when I visit Surabaya I will certainly choose this hotel, even with its minor flaws.

Very comfortable, great breakfast, gym and pool are clean and functional. Staff are very helpful. Had not stayed here for a few years, but will be returning.

cleanliness and the interior

以前に比べて兎に角汚い部屋でした。 ドアノブは壊れているし、スタッフに言っても治しに来ない。 料理も以前に比べてとても不味いのに高価格。

I stayed here when my cousin get married on March 2021. Verwood hotel located in the very strategic area which near to toll, restaurant, public facility, etc. Guest only need to walk less than 5 mins to reach many restaurant around there : Warung Sederhana (Padang Restaurant), Ayam Bakar Prima Rasa, Boncafe, etc. This hotel divided into hotel and apartment. I stayed in the hotel because it already been renovated. Room Spacious enough and covered by carpet. Completed by sofa, desk, and chair, and also other amenities : mini refrigerator, TV, coffee/tea maker. This room looks like already being renovated. Bathroom Bathtub and shower is not separated. Need to pay more attention on the cleanness. Amenities was complete Pool I was asking for swim towel to reception, but they said that I can use towel in my room and they could change it if I want. No staff on the pool. Breakfast Standard variant menu for 4 star hotel : Indonesian menu, omelette, noodle, salad, dessert. We were waiting for several minutes to have fried rice while being refilled. Only less staff standby on the restaurant. Overall this is a good hotel because of their location. But, because this is not a new hotel, they need to have good maintenance to ensure that all facilities in a good condition.

バスタブがあるはずがなかった。

My experience staying 2 nights during long weekend was very awesome. We got the chance to relax and enjoy the times though that time was still on Covid-19 situation we didn't go anywhere. Especially my husband enjoyed the whole lazy day. The room is clean, bedroom is comfy, housewares are complete, bathroom is ok. Breakfast was fine though not much meal variations to take. Hopefully I can stay there again another time.

A very comfortable hotel in Surabaya. breakfast in the form of a buffet will not make us feel deprived when eating. It has a very large swimming pool and is suitable for sports. Good wifi connection and won't be cut off when using it.

I often spend the night at Verwood Surabaya, room rate affordable, while i get many benefit here, good room, cold aircon, great hot waterflow include relaxing bathtub, comfortable bed and pillow, and free minibars.. good work Verwood

The location is very strategic, during transit from bali to jakarta vv via trans java highway, before continue to jakarta or bali, coffee in bar okay, parking no problem, near resto and padang food, sundanese food, doesn't have to go to the city

We stay in this hotel almost all the time when we visit surabaya. Altough the interior old, but it can keep the quality. Food are good with affordable prices. The aircon is cold. The room is clean. The service is good. Perfect for the family trip.

I’m not sure why people give 5 rate for this hotel. We specifically asked for a non-smoking room, but they sent us to a smoking floor with smoking room. Despite the cigarette strong smell, and the ashtray on the table, the bellboy argued that it was a non-smoking room. We demanded to change room, which was not an easy breezy. The bellboy asked the front desk and said that there were no other rooms available, and still arguing that it was a non-smoking room. We called the front desk and said that we want our money back if they couldn’t give us a non-smoking room. And it turned out there was a room available, magically. It was not a good experience for our first impression. The next day, we went out to get brunch in the city, and returned after a couple of hours, and the ‘Please Make up Room’ indicator light was still on. And yes, they haven’t made up the room. So we called the housekeeping to clean our room. We then went to the swimming pool to get chill, under the assumption that the room was being cleaned. After 2 hours we went back to the room. And yes, they haven’t made up the room. This is only the first day, we still have tomorrow.

The room was spacious, staff was very helpfull. Breakfast was delicious and I like the dining room menu. I was use the bussiness facility to support my job and the stuff very kindly. I have decided to back to that hotel when I go to Surabaya next time

水回り、特に洗面台、ふろ場の排水が悪く水がなかなか流れない。 シャワーはお湯の出方が悪く、殆ど水に近い冷たさでシャワーをせざるを得なかった。又、バスタオルの清潔感に欠ける。 ハンドタオルが無い。四つ星ホテルにしては冷蔵庫内に飲み物を入れてない。等々四つ星ホテルと言えるグレードか疑問。御社を通じた予約は問題なくスムースだった。

It’s my second time in this Verwood hotel. The room is clean, eventhough a little old look. Good service, convenient place, 2min walk to closeby resto. They have massage service so we dont have to go out. Suitable for the price.

Great Hotel, but the WiFi On/Off most of the time. I used my own internet HotSpot.

The hotel needs to improve the cleanliness of the room. I can even smell the dust when i entered the room at the first time. Perhaps, the hotel can also create a trademark scent so it may help to cover up something that wasn’t cleaned properly.

This hotel is very comfortable for family and also group. The location is far from the city, therefore, we only have to finish our tour before check in. It is better if we make reservation earlier, because I saw there were plenty of tour group staying at this hotel. Verwood has rooms with beautiful view, all rooms facing to the sun rise, therefore, every morning when we wake up, we will see the beauty of sun rise. We do not need to go the Bromo mountain to find the beautiful sun rise, just stay at this hotel, and we will get everything.

Generally everything was fine except breakfast when considering the price. nenu must be developed bit more for non Indonesian.

hotel with good location for business or vacation, clean room, and complete facilities. good receptionist who help us upgrade n get good non smoking room because we don't like smoking room. it's pleasant place for staying with family and friends.

A good place to stay with a tranquill athmosphere. A very good location. Easy to find. Good service, nice room and equipment. The TV station is a little bit annoying but it's okay. We like the ambient condition.

The staff are very friendly and lovely, but the maintenance needs improvement, our room A/C didn't work the shower head was spraying water all over the bathroom, and a few other minor maintenance issues. If these are addressed this is a good place to stay

I really enjoyed your buffe style breakfast.I hope you keep this survive.I hope the shawer of bathroom should be installed flexible hose.If you install,it will be more comfortable.Also,your staff should talk more loudly.I was difficult to hear their comment.

This is my second stay on this hotel and i think this is nice hotel and good service at all. Contains all what i need in this city. Near with mall and easy access through on surabaya city. Keep it up .

Small for room, and also bathroom. we booking for executive room, and for the 1st room A/C is not cool and water not HOT. but after that, staff moving us to another room. and it's okay for another room. breakfast not really variety and look like monotone.

2人分の部屋を予約していたが、うち1人分はなぜか2部屋予約されていた。これについては説明し、1部屋キャンセルしてもらった。トイレは流し終わった後でいつまでもチョロチョロと水が流れてしまい、止めるコツがわかるまでは気になった。寝ている途中で空調の吹き出し口の辺りから大きな音が出始め、途中まで何の音かわからず眠かったので放っておいたが、おかげで眠りが浅くなってしまった。全体的にあまり良い印象はありません。

予約していた部屋が使えず、急遽サービスアパートに変更した。 変更した部屋は長らく使用していなかったのか エアコンのガスが抜けていて冷房出来ない状態。 又、テイシュは一回取り出すと無い状態でした。

シャワールームの清潔感不足。 利便上頻繁に使用するホテルであるがミニバーにドリンクがある時と 入れ忘れている時がある。 エアコンの設定が不便である。

Hotel is good value for what it offers. The rooms and facilities might look a little old, but they're alright. Didn't manage to try the breakfast, but will probably do so next time.

I have been staying at this hotel for past 10 years, but the condition of the room was getting worse every time. Specially at this time, there was no hand towel any more in the bath room, Bath Towel and Bed sheets are old and smelly. I would not come back to this hotel again.
