Prachtig gebouw en vriendelijk personeel.

De kamers zijn vies, airco’s kapot. Er word overal verbouwd ( met de nodige geluidshinder tot 22.30 uur ) handdoeken ruiken chemisch muf. We zijn een dag eerder vertrokken.

部屋はとても広く、バルコニーからの景観も良く、とても快適でした。ウェルカムケーキも美味しかったです。部屋が通りに面していて、交通量も多いので音が気になるかと思いましたが、ベッドルームに入ればほとんど気になりませんでした。 お風呂のジャグジーはボダンが反応せずに困りましたが、フロントに相談したらすぐに技術者の方がきてくださいました。治りはしませんでしたが、大元のスイッチを教えて貰ってお風呂を楽しめました。 朝食は種類も多く、色々な料理を楽しめました。 また、アジア・アフリカ会議の際に初代インドネシア大統領が泊まった部屋ということで、歴史あるホテルに宿泊できて、とても嬉しい気持ちになりました。昔の写真や宿泊者名簿などの展示も大変興味深く拝見しました。 スタッフの方々もとても明るく親切で、気持ちよく滞在できました。チェックアウト後に忘れ物を見つけてくれて、すぐにWhatsAppで知らせて貰えたことにも感動しました。

メインのベッドルームにある照明のスイッチなどの集中制御のボタンは反応が良くなく、表示もかすれてしまっていました。サブのベッドルームのライトはプラグが壊れかけていたり、スイッチ周辺の絶縁テープが剥がれかけているなど、電気関係は改善の余地があるように思いました。設備が最新でないのは、むしろ趣があって良いと思いますが、使い勝手が向上すると、さらに良い宿泊体験になると思います。

Staying in room 336 at Savoy Bandung was such a lovely experience. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The service was also great, especially Kevin, Ayu and Linda, who were really friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. thank you so much. Overall, we had a really pleasant experience and would definitely love to stay here again! 5 starsss ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was a very unique experience to go through Bandung with this special car! Our driver had a lot of knowledge and could tell us all about the history. We would really recommend it.

Het artdécogebouw is prachtig van de buitenkant en de lobby ook. De airconditioning werkt uitstekend.

De kamers zijn vergane glorie. De badkamer is niet gemaakt voor moderne (grote) reizigers; de douchecabine was verstopt en dus niet te gebruiken, en de douche in het bad lekte zo erg bij gebruik dat de badkamer blank kwam te staan. Bovendien was hij te laag om eronder te kunnen staan, dus haren wassen was een uitdaging. Je ruikt ook nog erg goed dat er vroeger gerookt is in de kamers, ook in de bedden. Qua faciliteiten: de gym is geen gym te noemen: een piepklein hok zonder airco, met ontbrekende gewichten en oude apparaten. Het zwembad is mooi maar halal: mensen gaan volledig bedekt het water in.

Heerlijk "Tempo Doeloe" Hotel in hartje Bandubg. Prima kamer, aan de voorkant wel rumoerig, waar wij zelf geen last van hadden trouwens.Erg goed ontbijt en prima personeel wat alles doet om het je naar de zin te maken.Voor ons het 2e jaar op rij dat we hier waren, we komen zeker weer terug.

Stayed in a historic junior suite room with extraordinary hospitality. The staff members from reception, breakfast and housekeeping are extraordinary. Pak Cahyadi the housekeeper is particularly outstanding with his meticulous care and attention to details… five star experience.

Free upgraded to Junior Suite .. This is a my go to hotel every time I went to Bandung but not lucky enough to score the room as this is one of the sought after hotel in Bandung, I was incredibly lucky to got the room at such short time .

De locatie is top! Dichtbij mooie bezienswaardigheden en een leuk centrum waar genoeg te zien en beleven is. Ook vonden wij de foyer en ontbijtzaal erg mooi. Het personeel was vriendelijk en beleefd.

Het hotel is zichtbaar gedateerd en vooral de badkamer kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Bovendien hadden wij in de nacht last van het drukke verkeer voor de deur. Dit is mogelijk afhankelijk van de locatie van je kamer. Wij sliepen aan de voorzijde en dat was erg gehorig.

There are 2 pools, the shallow one is for kids, the big one for adult. The shallow pool is super warm but not that warm hence still comfortable for swimming. The adult pool is hella colddddd. Staffs are super nice, especially pak dede and a teteh2 stationed in the pool's cafetaria. I go here weekly, they always welcome me with warm smiles everytime. No water pooling around the pool (important cause kids loves running around carelessly!) cause pak dede are always on it. However the shower is just one, so the queue for shower got a lil bit too busy on weekend. But otherwise, it's warm and comfortable shower. Overall i like savoy homan swimming pool.

I had enjoyed my stay here. Good location, nice hotel, clean and comfy bed and huge room. Breakfast had a good selection of foods available. Waiter were very attentive esp Rully.. Even remember the cappuccino I took. Overall good place to stay to unwind

It's pleasant honestly, the room is very comfortable, the area and atmosphere too, I really love the room layout. The breakfast is amazing, staffs are really nice and friendly and very helpful. I also had the pleasure of meeting kak Ikhsan, who was very friendly.

We stayed here for 1 night, but was a unforgettable stay. We took deluxe room(127). The room was quite big, comfortable with pretty huge TV with accessable to YouTube, Netflix & live channels & basic amenities. The downside, I think the toilet needs to be renovated or need some spring cleaning. The Plus point, I believe, it's their bfast. The choice of food was delicious and variety from local delicacy to western. All the staff was very attentive especially to Mr Dicky who really took care of our table. He was attentive to clean our table, suggest foods to try & even made for us cappuccino. Small action but huge impact for us. Congrats to the team. **Genuinely, this is not paid review 😜🤣**

Op de eerste plaats staat de gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Het hotel is al wat ouder, maar nog steeds zeer comfortabel met prima kamers en een fijne uitstraling. De locatie, op de hoek van de Braga-streek is super. Het ontbijt in de prachtige louche is uitstekend. Kortom, een prima keus voor een erg goede prijs.

Onze kamer was aan de voorzijde, wat wel wat lawaaierig was. Voor ons niet echt een probleem, maar sommigen kunnen daar last van hebben.

It’s probably the best place when you like to explore the central parts of town. This place breathes history and is a true masterpiece of art deco design. When checking in, I was given a choice between a rather unassuming room at the back or go for a grand room at the front side accepting some noise of modern day traffic… The room exceeded my already high expectations, rounded wooden elements, stylish furniture, colorful carpets and the persistent traffic humming. It didn’t hurt my sleep though.

I am probably not the first to suggest some basic insulation measures as to lower the impact of traffic exposure. Also entertainment at the stylish Batavia cafe seemed mostly about producing a maximum amount of noise.

the colonial design is an attraction. the exec double bedroom is spacious. the tv is large and offers many channels. rooms on the main lobby side have single glazed doors to the balcony and so it's noisy from the sound of motorbikes in the night. the shower and bath are fine. the bed is good. the lighting control needs time to understand - i could not switch off the light above the cocktail area.

the breakfast atrium is fine except for the heat - the roof is a perspex cover and there is little or no cooling. the check in was ridiculous - ok, it was good friday, but it took the desk about 10 minutes for registering each guest, pathetically slow, it is faster checking in for a flight at the airport.

This property is very old and very dirty. The lobby toilet was totally unacceptable. The room was very old and spooky. The furniture in the room totally ugly. The breakfast was very bad and i didn’t enjoy ut at all. The carpet heading to my room was very dirty and smelly.

Best for location and the food is good. It has nice cafe as well. Hotel staff very attentive and helpful. Its an old building which is fine. But carpet was damp and has unpleasant smell. Bathroom drain clogged, not so clean and without shower curtain. will comeback for eating but not for staying.

@ikhsan, the staff at the garden resto is very helpful and kind. He always offered assistance during our dinner. Overall the service and the food is always good

Savoy Homann is located very centrally which makes it ideal to explore Bandung City Centre, it's historical buildings and museums. It has a nice pool and decent Indonesian and International breakfast.

The hotel is clearly past is glory and could need some renovation. The rooms to the street are extremely noisy, those to the back have balconies facing the wall of another building. No effort has been done to decorate or hide that wall to make it more pleasant. The rooms were non smoking, but it felt like you were still smelling the smoke.

We were served with lot of individual attention and care by Mas Tanto. He specially catered for my daughteea carbonara. Also the speciality butter pan fried salmon was great. Highly recommend eapecially the art deco style window over looking braga for seating.

Awesome location. Junior suite is huge with balcony overlooking Asia Africa street. Multiple restaurants in hotel and both have good food. Shower and tub.

I had a wonderful experience having breakfast at Savoy homann bandung. The variety and quality of the food were truly impressive — from traditional Indonesian, everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy, with a beautiful view and relaxing ambiance, perfect to start the day. A special mention to Ikhsan from the Waiter Garden Restaurant, who was extremely helpful and friendly throughout my visit. I’m glad to stay historical Savoy Homann and enjoyed my stay. Everything was fine with the feeling of highly hospitality, doorman, reception and room staff. The hotel has full renovations a few times to preserve its original charm. The room was also partly renovated and clean by room keepers, and shower worked perfectly with no issues regarding water pressure or temperature even I, Japanese, felt hot enough. All amenities were provided except razor. I didn't have dishes during my stay but it seems that the restaurant was a lovely place with a nice atmosphere. Overall, it was good experience.

Missing tiles in shower stall and Mildew, also on the shower curtain It is actually a no no It’s an easy scrub w borax or deluted bleach, for staff to do a proper suite cleaning when customer leaves. I noticed The Hotel don’t have proper vacuum cleaners for staff to do a proper job!! I think There is too many staff in the restaurants, That can be allocated to clean the suites!!

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its fantastic location. It’s right in the heart of the action, close to major attractions, numerous shops, and vibrant street markets, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city centre on foot. Furthermore, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, consistently catering to our needs with a smile. This excellent level of service really enhances the guest experience. The historic grandeur of the hotel’s public areas is also a definite highlight—it feels like stepping back in time.

Unfortunately, the rooms themselves were noticeably dated and not modernised. The aesthetic felt a little unsettling, perhaps best described as having a slight Shining vibe, which certainly needs an update to bring it into the 21st century. From a practical perspective, we encountered several frustrating technical problems. The Wi-Fi was intermittent and didn't work reliably, which made planning and research difficult. Worse still, the in-room entertainment box kept on freezing and losing connection, meaning we couldn't properly relax and watch anything in the evenings.

The location was great, walking distance from Braga street. The personnel was very friendly and the room was okay. The breakfast was great. We missed the historical atmosphere, the hotel is more a business hotel.

Went here with my GF, based on all the reviews and the history of the building. 150 +/- years of history is something you want to see with your own eyes. The grandeur of this ones majestic hotel is still possible to see from the outside, but from the inside, the soul has left this beautiful building with all it's history. It feels dead inside. It was just us having dinner. Just some old guys having cigarettes in the smoking area. They sell a western concept, but stopped selling alcohol a few years back. The food was quite ok, but not fitting this majestic building. The owners of the Bidakara group really need to visit this place and consider new management. Based on recent other reviews, I'm not alone in this. Instead of alcohol, they have a lot of other drinking variaties, only thing is that a lot of the choices on the menu were not available. I requested a ginger ale, but this was finished. Just like I was reading in another review. Perhaps renew the menu? I don't recommend to visit this place if you are from the West.

Optimale Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück.

Die Zimmer hinter der sehr ansprechenden Lobby sind eine Enttäuschung. Sehr renovierungsbedürftig, Loch im Fußboden, sehr dunkles Zimmer, Beleuchtung schwer zu bedienen. Der Mülleimer im Bad wurde nicht gereinigt, die Kaffetasse mit einem kleinen Rest Kaffee drin weder gereinigt noch ersetzt.

We went to Bandung with Whoosh, stayed 2 nights at this historic hotel and booked the Homann Family Suite. Pleasantly surprised with the adorable welcome package consisting of fruit, cake, and a card. Apparently famous world leaders and celebrities stayed in our suite, to include Indonesia's first president, Soekarno, Zhou Enlai, and Charlie Chaplin! The views from the suite were nice. Wish the suite is more sound-proof, as it can get a bit noisy during weekend. As expected from an older hotel, some things in the suite were dated and/or need fixing. The lobby area was nicely renovated. Some parts of the hotel are kept authentic, original, and nostalgic. Breakfast was lovely, with mostly Indonesian dishes and some continental. During weekend, the Batavia Cafe restaurant can be fun, as they have karaoke and live music. Overall it was a memorable trip and stay.

We only went to eat having read somewhere that the “rijsttafel” was excellent. Upon arrival in the beautiful art-deco building we were informed that the “rijsttafel” dish was for minimum of 5persons. Decided to go for the a la carte as didn’t feel right ordering & paying for a 5person spread for the 2 of us. The garden restaurant is beautiful but was completely empty at 19.30. In fact the entire hotel was dubiously empty: lots of uniforms wandering about, but no customers. Drinks saga: We sat down and tried to order a beer & wine: turns out to be an Islamic no-alcohol-served place. Would have liked to have known that in advance! No worries, my wife ordered a ginger ale and I ordered a soda water. 10mins later they came to say there was no ginger ale. So changed order to tonic water. They brought 2 cans of tonic. Hm. Halfway through the meal we ordered 2 more tonics as I had given up on the soda water idea and thought this was simpler for them. After considerable time they came to say there was no more tonic!.Apparently we had drunk the last two cans haha. So back to soda water then which only arrived after asking twice. The meal: considering the fact that there were now just 4 customers in the entire restaurant (an other couple had arrived) our meal to ages. It was a disappointment. I had duck goreng. That half-bird was deep fried and had acquired a tough exoskeleton. We were only given a spoon & fork so getting any meat off the bones was a challenge. Gave up and asked for a knife. Gave up and pushed the fossilised bird aside and ate the rice & sambal. All-in-all a very odd experience. I cannot understand how this once-glorious but now very much bygone place gets such high reviews!

What an unforgettable stay at this historic hotel! The service is friendly, the facilities are elegant, and most importantly, it's easily accessible. The hotel is located in the city center. Braga is just steps away, and Lengkong Street Food is within walking distance.

Op de tweede verdieping waren ze aan het verbouwen. Geen geluidsoverlast maar wel ongemak omdat je de kamer minder goed kon bereiken. De kamers zijn donker en de badkamer is oud.

Downside of the period architecture, is that the plumbing and electrics are not state of the art. If you don’t stay, visit, admire the architecture, have a coffee in their coffee shop.

The hotel’s architecture, style and history are awesome. The breakfast buffet is lovely, the staff is helpful, and it’s located centrally in Bandung. We definitely recommend the tour in the vintage car, which was a lot of fun!

Not the cleanest and in need of a freshening up. Despite the housekeeping team doing a very good job of tidying the room every day, there’s a structural cleanliness issue that management should address. We found two small cockroaches in the bathroom… and we decided not to try out the swimming pool because the water looked so grimy.

Room is a very old non standard footprint but the biggest issue was power, old control panel kept losing power so had daily maintenance repair crews. Hotel was also really old but still needs to have working lights and plugs.

The only criticism is the traffic noise. We had a junior suite at the front of the hotel and there is a lot of noise.

I requested them to arrange a large, new SUV for a day's trip. The person in reception has shown a picture with two doors of a car and asked if it is OK. I responded saying that as far as it is a good new SUV I don't mind as I didn't have any idea about the brand of the car he was referring to. Next morning, when the car arrived (15 minutes late), I found out that it is a small car and I informed the girl in the reception that I was only looking for a large SUV, and requested her to book one. She talked to the person who arranged the small car and replied bluntly that if i cancel this small car (which I can) then they will not call or order another, which was kind of strange! and in the entire incident I lost more than 30 minutes. Later I had to book an SUV online.

There was water dripping from the air conditioner in our roms. The bathroom also need to be upgraded, especially the shower area : - no place to hang the towel near shower area - flexible shower rather than a wall fixed shower - the shower curtain - would be good if there was a glass wall instead, so that water did not splash to the floor in front of the toilet
