The Pavilions Bali

The property was clean, well maintained and set back from the busy streets. It had all the comforts we needed. A beautiful private pool , air conditioning in the bedrooms, clean comfortable sitting and dining area .

There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property.

We went to reception and booked in, after which we were taken to our beautiful suite and garden and shown around. All was explained in a welcoming fashion. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. The suite was completely private, beautiful and had its own swimming pool which we used daily. The spa was beautiful and private and the staff very competent and pleasant- best massage of our holiday.

We absolutely loved this hotel and it’s hard to say without sounding picky. Food could have been tastier but it’s hard to cater for different tastes. We had come from north Bali and enjoyed the quieter, more authentic vibe of the area and the charm of the local people. Sanur is more touristy and noisy so was not our favourite location, however, the hotel is set back and you would not know you were in the centre of Sanur, so it was like a sanctuary!

Fresh fruit juices and fruit platter, Indonesian and European range of food choices (ten or was it twelve on the menu). Ability to have food delivered to the villa or walk to the restaurant.

There were no complaints at all.

Die Unterkunft liegt super zentral in Sanur und es ist alles in der Nähe von kleinen lokalen Shops, Restaurants und Supermärkten, bishin zur Icon Bali Mall. Auch das Personal ist bei Beanstandungen aufmerksam und sehr hilfsbereit.

Einzelne Villen sind sehr hellhörig und schlecht isoliert. Grundsätzlich ist die Bauweise ungenügend und vieles ist schon stark verzogen / beansprucht. Türen gehen nicht richtig zu, vieles hakt und rappelt beim zu machen. Durch die offene Bauweise kommen auch viel zu viele Mosquitos in die Zimmer. Das Reinigungspersonal "übersieht" Recht viel und vergisst auch bespielsweise Abzuwaschen und neue Handtücher hinzulegen. Das Personal bei Frühstück wirkt unmotiviert und vergisst auch viel. Von der Bestellung bis zum Bringen des Essens fehlt immer wieder etwas oder auch Teller werden vergessen hinzustellen. Essen verhältnismäßig im Vergleich zum vorhergehenden Hotell definitiv nicht 5 Sterne wert. Teilweise völlig geschmacklos. Säfte und Marmelade zum Beispiel wie Wasser. Callamari beim Lunch mehr Panade als Fisch.

Der Pool war traumhaft.... das Personal ist freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Auch das Essen beim Frühstück und am Pool war sehr gut und frisch

Sehr wenig Steckdosen..... hier braucht man auf alle Fälle einen Adapter oder ähnliches um mehr als zwei Geräte zu laden.

El hotel necesita renovar las zonas comunes , la decoración está algo desgastada para el precio que tienen las habitaciones , los sanitarios había que renovarlos … El desayuno regular , la verdad que pese a la amabilidad de casi todos los empleados el precio es muy elevado para la calidad que dan

The location of this property is perfect. Very close to the Icon Mall and all the restaurants you could want. Easy walk to the beach. The villas were just amazing. So cute and personalised - which was so fun! Breakfasts were the best. All the staff were so friendly and obliging. I would definitely stay here again.

The bed may be a little too firm for myself. But thats it.

The location was great, easy walking distance to local warungs, beach, shops etc. hidden away you wouldn’t think you were in central Sanur. Staff were fantastic. Spa treatments were the best. Our private pool was amazing. Breakfast was also good. Endless supply of filtered water.

フローティングブレックファストをお願いしていましたが、その朝に蚊の薬剤を撒きたいと言われ、害は全くないと言われましたが、少し心配でした。 でも、さすがに到着時にはたくさんいた蚊が、全くいなくなっていたので、フローティングする前には必要だったのかもしれません。 日本では中々できないフローティングブレックファストだと思うので、実際かなり食べにくいですが、ぜひおすすめです。

la différence de traitement entre une réservation via booking et une réservation avec le site l'hotel: on nous a installé dans une villa proche du restaurant donc succeptible d'être impactée par le bruit, déjeuner servi dans la villa est payant alors que ça ne l'est pas quand tu réserves sur site, pas de surprise quotidienne en reservant sur booking. Franchement , nous avons fait plusieurs hôtels sur Bali (seminyak, ubud) et là on a vraiment été deçu par le rapport qualité /prix de cet établissement

An oasis from the local street chaos, we stayed in Villa no.9, fitout modern, pool deck has sunlight all morning until 2pm, daily houskeeping and mini bar top-up, exceptionally clean property, beautiful garden, staff attentive and prioritises guests, very impressive, highly recommend if you are staying in Sanur.

Wir waren sehr beeindruckt von dem guten Service auch schon vorab über WhatsApp. Wir haben alle wichtigen Informationen für die Einreise erhalten und konnte bereits Transfers und Ausflüge buchen. Sehr gute und freundliche Kommunikation. Unser Transfers vom ersten Hotel zu Pavilions war großartig, so wie man es sich vorstellt bei einem Hotel diesen Standards. Es gab Wasser, Tücher kleine Snacks unser Fahrer Eric, war sehr freundlich. Die Villa war einfach nur super. Riesengroß, sehr sauber und neu eingerichtet. Der Pool war toll. Das Personal insgesamt war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Bei unserer Ankunft erklärte man uns, dass wir das Frühstück im Restaurant einnehmen, dabei wirbt dieses Hotel mit dem Frühstücksservice auf dem Zimmer. Auf Nachfrage warum, sagte man uns, weil wir nicht direkt über das Hotel gebucht hätten. Da fühlte man sich direkt als Gast 2.Klasse. Nachdem wir dann beweisen mussten, dass auch auf Booking oder TUI die Beschreibung Breakfast at the room steht, haben wir unser Frühstück aufs Zimmer bekommen, aber es war kein schönes Gefühl. Nach den anderen Annehmlichkeiten die diese Zimmerkategorie hat, habe ich gar nicht mehr gefragt, weil ich nicht noch eine Diskussion führen wollte. Das Essen insgesamt entsprach auch nicht den Erwartungen (z.B. Acocado war schon eher grau, sah nicht frisch aus ) die man nach den Bilder auf der Homepage hat. Wir sind dann außerhalb essen gegangen, außer Frühstück, das war ok.

Die Villa mit privatem Pool war außergewöhnlich schön. Das Personal hat mir die Ankunft auf Bali so schön, wie möglich gestaltet. Sehr zuvorkommend und jeder einzelne ausgesprochen freundlich. Als ein Gecko mich nachts geweckt hat, hat man mir sofort und ohne Nachfrage meinerseits ein anderes Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt, damit ich in Ruhe weiterschlafen konnte. Das war wirklich ganz phänomenal. Mit Yande, der mich auch vom Flughafen abgeholt hat, habe ich eine Tagestour zu verschiedensten Sehenswürdigkeiten unternommen. Es war ein sehr informativer und lustiger Tag.

The atmosphere and decor could do with updating the huts smelt a bit funny and the gardens around the pools needs to be cut back as the mosquitos were pretty bad need to have music around the bar area. There was an issue with rain the first couple of days which came into the hut and caused some flooding this was dealt with over a couple of days this was unfortunate.

Great location. A short walking distance to the beach through the air conditioned shopping mall. We had a villa with a private pool. The villa was on two levels with the bedroom up a spiral staircase which was fine for us but may not necessarily suit someone with mobility issues.

We stayed 5 nights in a private pool villa, offering a peaceful oasis set right at the back of the hotel complex. Super quiet and peaceful. You wouldn’t know the noise if the street was there. The pool villa is beautifully fitted out and decorated. The bedroom is up a spiral staircase and feels like a cocooned oasis of dark timber walls. Really gorgeous!! The staff are very attentive and breakfast is delicious and generous. The hotel also minded our bags at no charge while we travelled on a short trip afterwards, which was wonderful.

The pavilions in Bali is a nice accommodation for anyone looking for a very tranquil place to be. The villas with private pool are nice but make sure to ask for one with maximum sun exposure. We were first checked into a villa that had little to no sun exposure so when we mentioned this the accommodation promptly offered us to change villas, which we appreciate very much. The villas are very spacious and clean so nothing too negative to say. We very much liked them. The communal areas, such as the communal pool and the restaurant, are also great. In the communal pool you have sun beds in the sun and in the shade so you can choose what you like. We liked it very much

We were first checked into villa number six, which had a very loud AC, but upon mentioning this we were changed villas so nothing negative and thank you to the staff

The villa was like my own little sanctuary. A large comfortable bed, outdoor bath, roomy shower & plenty of room to spread out & relax. The staff are service here are next level, amazing! I ordered in-villa dining and the food was fresh, delicious and delivered with a smile. The location of The Pavillions is perfect, nestled away in manicured, tropical lushness from the busy main street in Sanur but literally a 3 -5 minutue walk to shops, restaurants and spa's. Everything you need is at your doorstep. I enjoyed having my own private pool which was a treat to night swim under the stars and wash away the days heat. I enjoyed my stay so much .. I have booked to return next year!

The property is in a lovely setting with large rooms and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It's about a 10 minute walk through to the beach and the shopping strip but you are tucked away in a quiet enclave that's very peaceful.

The privacy of the pool and space. We loved the upstairs bedroom and beautiful furniture throughout.

An air conditioner in the living area would’ve made a huge difference. The bedroom ones don’t filter out there very well so it was always quite warm even with the fans on. Everything else was fantastic

This was our first time staying at The Pavilions Sanur. We loved the peaceful location away from the road but still close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We stayed in a garden villa next to the pool. We enjoyed the pool bar and cocktails. The restaurant area was lovely and the breakfast choices were good. All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, particularly with a couple of plumbing issues! Special mention to Nia, Vitri, Zul and Yundi and the friendly security staff who always welcomed us back with a smile and a wave. We hope to stay again!

The property was well maintained and had a very high standard of care and amenities. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had breakfast at the restaurant each morning. I couldn’t fault the food and how it was prepared and presented. I would like to put a big thank you to the staff that served us each day. It was a pleasure to be there. Plus to all the staff at the pavilion. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

My wife and I have just finished a five night stay at the Pavillions. I will break this down into several parts as this is vervy much a several part review. 1) The good. We have stayed at the Pavilions Villas on a previous visit and had a great stay so it was easy to pick the Pavilions again when staying in Sanur. As always the staff are just fabulous. They are incredibly friendly and only want the best for your visit. My wife had an issue with a broken tooth which as luck would have it occurred as as we arrived at the airport for our departure. The staff arranged a dentist and cab pronto with an excellent result. Brekky while limited is plentiful and tasty. We had a plantation villa which is expansive. Brilliant pool but the spiral stairs can be problematic(don’t wear socks transversing them ) Location once again is brilliant. Its only a five minute walk to the Icon shopping mall and restaurants are plentiful and good. 2) The Bad. We were in Villa 20. What we did not find out till we were be taken to our villa was the construction going on in the adjacent villas. The noise was terrible. We were advised that the noise would cease at 6pm. When sitting by the pool all we head was a wood planer, saw and hammers drills along with hammering. We went out the second day and missed a lot of the noise but on return the construction noise continued. At 8.30pm the construction was still occurring and at that point I contacted the front desk to voice my displeasure. The noise ceased a short time later. Breakfast was a bit later the next morning and as we ate the noise was totally unacceptable. We raised the issue with staff but were advised there was nothing really that could be done. After the five nights we were well and truly over the noise. Had we not paid in advance we would not have remained. 3) I understand and congratulate the Pavilions on trying to keep their villas and maintenance up to date BUT surely it is not to hard to advise you during the booking process of the ongoing noise from the maintenance. Despite much correspondence via emails no mention was ever made of any noise or construction. I found this very misleading. The fact that what was supposed to be a very restful and fun time turned into a holiday where we could not use the Villa Pool we had paid for due to the very loud and disturbing construction noise. 4) If you are intending on staying at the Pavilions just ask the question will your villa be the subject of construction noise. The big question is would we return – yes but only after all the construction work is completed.

Had an amazing experience for my 60th birthday at the Pavilions. Nothing was too much trouble even when torrential rain caused flooding of our villa. Staff were only concerned about guests experience and we were soon moved to a new villa with our affected clothes washed and dried. The complimentary Balinese massage was appreciated. The breakfasts served in our villa were amazing and we actually stopped ordering all that was on offer. Our butlers Mega and Yoga were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. Every night when we returned to our villa after dinner, our bedding had been turned down, local Balinese present left on the bed, and candles lit in the bathroom. We ate a number of times in the restaurant which was always fantastic and had a good menu on offer. All in all a fantastic birthday stay, thank you!

We were awakened by the thunder only to find we were under water . The staff carried our cases to dry land at 5.00 in the morning . They had organised a taxi and dry accommodation at the Hyatt resort . So professional was the relocation we couldn't have asked for better in anyway. The staff and manager were just concerned we were ok and happy at the Hyatt. We returned to a new villa two days later . To be greeted with smiling faces . Thank you everyone at The pavilions for making a disaster outside your control as comfortable as possible . We do hope you get your 8 villas out of action up and running soon .

The location is really good for proximity to the Icon shopping centre and Sanur beach. Great choice of bars and restaurants close by. Loved the Plantation villa. Really private pool and the villa has everything you could possibly need. Lovely staff and special touch to have your name at the entry of your villa.

The Pavilions Bali did not dissapoint. It was clean, quiet and the staff are amazing and professional. Chandra at front office was helpful and very accomadating. When we checked into our villa there were Valentines flowers and flowers on the bath tub that made me feel special. (Hubby organised) we were celebrating my sisters bday and Chandra organised a beautiful cake for her plus they spoilt her by remembering her birthday. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The Balinese coffee plunger was well needed after nights of excess. No request was too hard. Beds comfy and 2 air cons in room. Filtered water machine. Big fridge. Room maintained every morning. Pool in villa clean, private and quiet a must. Sanur for us was just what we needed. Quiet location ICON MALL walking distance as were great restaurants and shops. Preferred the laid back vibe of Sanur.

Another great stay at The Pavilions. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. Always know who you are and what is happening with your stay. 1 bedroom pool villa was near the main pool, but still very quiet and peaceful. Lovely food for breakfast each day at the restaurant but could be taken in villa if wanted. Always nice to turn into the driveway off the main road, a feeling of calm comes over you! Highly recommend and we will be back.

A memorable short gateaway at this place. Celebrate our honeymoon and wedding anniversary, it turns really amazing as we got a special treatment with an incredible plunge villa (with my name wrote on it), a flower setup on the bath tub, and a complimentary gift for our little daughter. Special mentioned to Mba Pebi and Mba Ayu, also Villa Butler and the Security guy are really helpfull. Couldnt asked for more. Thank you so much for the warm welcome ❤️

I enjoyed my stay here. It is very centrally located, only moments from the Icon Bali shopping centre and a stones through from many dining and shopping options, but set far enough back off the road that I still felt relaxed and calm each time I turned down the driveway. The little touches during my stay were unexpected and so lovely. The turndown service, lighting mosquito coils in the early evening, etc. all added to the overall experience. I did see that someone asked wither the pool is heated. I'm told it isn't, but the temperature was perfect. I'm known to be a bit of a wimp when it comes to getting into a pool if it is too cold and this was absolutely perfect, I walked straight in every time.

Absolute Bliss, truly Heaven on Earth. We booked a two-week stay at the Pavilions Bali for Christmas 2025. From the outset, we had wonderful expectations, as from the website, Social Media content and other reviews, all we could feel and envision was being wrapped in tranquillity and a unique, authentic Balinese stay. We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, we knew The Pavillions Bali was magical. Recognising we had just landed from a 19-hour flight, we were shown to our private Garden Villa, which has all the simple and understated luxuries you need, treated to the homemade special lemonade - so refreshing and booked in for our post-travel spa treatment for the following day. We were also greeted with a welcome gift to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We thought this was a one-off, but The Garden Villa is simple luxury at its best with a HUGE lounge, a gorgeous queen bed in the bedroom, a massive marble bathroom and an outdoor shower. We also had a lovely Garden with a pond and our own fish, 3 of which we named - Derek, Colin and Margaret. The whole hotel has the feel of a small private Balinese village, with all rooms being villas. Breakfast is served in your Villa each morning, a lovely treat and a great way to start the day. You can also take your evening meal in your Villa. We chose not to. The Pavillions Jahe Restaurant is lovely and set in a private garden. You can choose to sit in your own private pagoda or in the restaurant's main area. The food is clean and fresh, and you can choose from traditional Balinese dishes or western options, so there is something for everyone. You can also order from the Pool All Day menu as well. One evening, I was not hungry at all, and the team kindly offered to make a clear chicken soup for me; it was simply delicious. The Pavilions Spa is wonderful. The Pavilion's Signature Massage and their Ultimate treatment, which includes a body scrub, a full-body massage, and a facial, are wonderful. You can also have amazing 121 Yoga classes, and the gym is small and perfectly equipped. We also went on many trips around the island. We chose to work with the excursions offered in the hotel packages, and there were some unique offerings we had not seen on Get Your Guide or from independent booking as you walked through Sanur main street. We also had a bespoke day trip from the hotel, utilising their car and wonderful Driver, Eric. As well as a Balinese Cooking experience with the Pavilion's Chef, and a super special banquet on Christmas Day Most of all, what makes the Pavillions Bali so special is the team that works there. Simona and her team have created a beautiful haven where relaxing, coming back to your senses, and connecting with yourself, your loved ones, and the team are at the essence of all they do. If you want a taste of Bali and wrap yourself in authentic, simple luxury, where you arrive as a stranger but definitely leave as a friend, then the Pavilions Bali is the place for you. But don't tell too many people, we want to keep it our little secret. Would we go back? in a heartbeat and are already making plans to do so. Villas were clean - pool in villa was lovely and clean.

Breakfast was disappointing - we only had it twice - no taste - coffee was terrible. - no atmosphere - no music We only ate at the restaurant once due to the poor meal - again no music - no atmosphere and they seemed very short of staff.

Great location. Staff were fantastic. Pool was kept clean and villa was large and comfortable. Not right on the beach, but quieter which suited my wife and I. Cheap laundry place next door.

As you walk through Sanur and come across the entrance, it immediately catches your eye with an inviting, magical charm that pulls you right in. Inside is a calm, green sanctuary hidden in the heart of the town. The spa was amazing. I loved the oils and scrubs with a pleasant scents that you really have to experience yourself. The therapists were warm and accommodating, and the quality fully justifies the price. Highly recommended!

Absolutely stunning! Loved our stay in Sanur at the Bali Pavilions. Our villa was spacious and perfect for our family. We enjoyed the outdoor space and private pool. Villa is within walking distance to Icon shopping centre, spas and fantastic restaurants. Highly recommended the cooking classes.

The villas are wonderfully clean and spacious. Everything you desire is catered for. The staff are lovely and go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. A little bit of luxury in Bali.

It was a fantastic stay. Nice and secluded off the main strip. This property walkability score should be 100. Bars and massage places are 5 mins walk, along with supermarkets and the largest mall icon which sits on the beach. 5 star quality with the privacy of your own pool villa. Brekky was always fresh and doesn't slow you down as it wasn't heavy. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting an unwind or secured area for their kids it's about 5 x bigger than a hotel room which we found very helpful for travel with our kid.

I feel there would be huge potential for an upgrade to the restaurant.. I..e raising the roof and doing some landscaping on the lawn to match the beautiful villas. At times it could feel dark. If this was modernised the property would also Attract a lot more outsiders.

The bed we had was very hard both had back pain by 3rd night

We stayed at the Pavilions for 5 nights. All staff were quite outstanding and could not have been more helpful or efficient. We had a fabulous New Year function with excellent cuisine and entertainment. We also did both the cookery course and the Dinner of the Gods which were exceptional. It would be wrong not to point out a few issues. The soundproofing in our villa was non existent and we had cause to report noise issues to staff on several occasions, this issue certainly detracted from our stay as did the bed and pillows. We travel very extensively and the bed and pillows are by far the worst that we have ever encountered and again they detracted from our stay.

My husband and I went without the kids for a relaxing week away and we were so relaxed coming back home. The hospitality was amazing and all staff were so lovely and helpful. The reception staff went out of their way to order in more perfume that I loved in the reception store and was able to reorder for me before I checked out. Anything we asked for was not a problem. Location is great, right across from The Icon shopping mall. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
