The staff I had interactions with had attitude problem Dirty rooms and communal areas check inn was a bad experience. Firstly, I was NOT allowed to check-in 10 minutes early. To check-inn I had to down-load a app which didn't work on my phone and the check inn took 20--minutes. There appeared to be long-term residents staying, all of which appeared to me has dodgy down and outs

The girl staff was very strict with the time with checking in but she doesn't manage to be on time either. She doesn't even smile.

Statt des ursprünglich gebuchten Apartments haben wir ein frisch renoviertes Apartment im gegenüberliegenden Haus bekommen haben.

Die Umgebung vermittelte uns besonders abends kein wirklich sicheres Gefühl. Außerdem war die Hauptstraße extrem laut, sodass ein ruhiges Durchschlafen kaum möglich war. Ungünstig war der Zugang zum Gebäude, da hierfür extra eine App installiert werden musste.

Tür hatte keine Klinge oder Knauf und wir mussten die Tür „zuknallen“ lassen, damit sie auch wirklich zu ist. Das Putzpersonal hat das nicht gemacht und wir kamen zurück und die Tür von unserem Zimmer war offen und jeder hätte reingehen können.

Die Lage an Bus und U-Bahnlinien und dem coolen Camden Markt ist top, der Manager des Hauses freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Ein Zimmer in den Hinterhof ist ruhig. Da frisch renoviert alles neu und sauber. Der Preis fair!

In diesem heißen Sommer ist das Apartment viel zu heiß und man kann die Fenster nicht öffnen, da viel zu laut. Auch geschlossen dämmen die Fenster den Straßen- und Bar-lärm nicht gut. Es gab 6 Betten, aber nur 4 Stühle in der Küche, auch sonst ist in der Küche nicht an Kochen zu denken, da keine Ausstattung. Eine Waschmaschine, aber kein Waschpulver. Ein Fernseher, aber keine Fernbedienung. Die Toilettenspülung ist an das Heißwasser angeschlossen, dafür kann man nur brennheiß, oder eiskalt duschen. Das Personal (außer dem Manager) scheint fast kein Englisch zu verstehen. Die Wohnungstüre hatte außen keine Schnalle und konnte nur mit einem Trick geschlossen werden.

Convenient location to St. Pancras/Kings Cross for trains; generally clean, my dormitory also had an ensuite shower (though no toilet) making it great for late night/morning showers. Very helpful staff, especially when leaving luggage after checking out and helping me search for something I had left behind in the room when I was ready to pick up my luggage in the evening.

There was some building work going on, so expect even better quality experience in future; tricky to get my small folded bike up and down stairs, also no lights above the washbasins in the dorm where I stayed.

Wij hadden een appartement met 2 badkamers en 2 slaapkamers geboekt. We kregen een appartement met 1 badkamer. Deze leek niet op het appartement van de foto’s. De 2 persoonsbedden waren klein, 140cm. Wij hadden het eerste appartement wat klaar was. Maar eigenlijk hebben ze het te vroeg in de verhuur. Appartement was klaar. Rest van het gebouw niet. Hierdoor veel stof van het klussen op de grond. Was dus ook geen optie voor een ander appartement. We hadden wel extra betaald omdat ze graag 2 badkamers wilden. Geen compensatie gekregen. Ze maken er wel wat moois van. Appartement worden keurig afgewerkt. Ontbijt heel erg simpel. Geen reactie op berichten via Booking.com of hun eigen incheck site.

The location of this hostel was incredibly amazing! Just a few minutes walk to different busstations and 2 undergrounds, maximum 10 minutes away from Camden Town centre and there were 2 supermarkets a few minutes walk to the centre. The beds were alright, the shower was great, the nice staff made the experience so great and they cleaned the rooms every day.

The tap did not have cold water at all, it was either very warm or steaming hot. Apparently, the phone number booking.com gives for their reception is not the right one.

Room was clean and well aired, bed and sheets were clean and comfy, just no curtains but the room was only half occupied at most. Watching the world cup down at the bar was fun with many screens around. Also staff was kind and chill Included breakfast was a good bonus but is pretty barebone

The sound from downstairs' bar speakers can easily resonate into the room, same as noises from the street. In my case room 4 was decent at both but other rooms on the 1st floor might be more vulnerable. Also malus for some posters made with AI down at the bar

Pretty much everything else. The male barkeep working at night was abrasive. The mixed dorm was, in my opinion, unsafe for solo female travellers due to the lack of lockers with usable padlocks (out of 12 lockers, only 3 had combination locks and half had no padlock at all) and the shower room with flimsy lock directly facing the triple bunk beds. The mixed dorm was also advertised as having a bathroom, it did not- just the shower room. The toilets were located outside. There was no apparent lighting or ventilation in the dorm, just a large fan. The communal area/bar was closed off at midnight meaning guests coming back after that time had to eat either in the dorm or outside on the barrels used as by smokers. The whole hostel also looked like it was undergoing ongoing renovations as the walls didn’t seem to have any plaster and the doors didn’t appear to be fire safety doors.

The location was great, right at the heart of Camden so easily accessible to everything in the area. The staff were helpful and let me check in early too, the room I was in was also good. Bed was comfy and the room was well ventilated.

The toilets/shower room was where it was let down, one of the toilets (of two) was out of order and the hangers for clothing in one of the shower rooms were missing too so effectively it meant only 1 toilet and 1 shower room working at any one time. It was clean though. I saw a flyer that said their pub is open till 3am on Friday and Saturday so probably not a good idea to stay here on those nights if you want any good decent sleep those days.

No reservar aquí!! He tenido la peor noche en londres por culpa de la mala gestión del hostal. No tienen recepcion, solo un ordenador en la barra y antes que hacer tu check in prefieren servir cerveza, cuando reserve cancelaron mi reserva un día antes y cuando fui tuve que hacerla a travez de booking porque no lo harían en la barra. Cuando me dieron mi habitacion la cama esraba ocupada, la recepcionista fue muy amable en quitar y hacer la cama que me correspondia, a la hora de haber hecho el check in vino a decirme que se habian equivocado en recepcion y no habian visto que la cama en la que estaba le correspondía a una persona que ya había hecho check in y que me devolverían el dinero. Todo esto a las 21:45. Me dejaron sin noche ni alternativa de donde dormir, desde luego por un error de reservas y gestión de hotel hicieron que mi unido día libre de trabajo en un mes haya sido terrible. No ir a este sitio Agrego una foto que muestra el techo del baño, goteando. No hice foto a la habitación ni los corredores, pero estaban asquerosos

Not really the fault of the hostel, but it's a heatwave and the building doesn't have aircon - definitley not a complaint, but something to consider - there was a large fan in the room which was helpful

Great location, very central with loads of shops and cafes nearby. The staff was lovely, check-in and check-out were both easy and I could store my luggage there after check-out. I was also given the option to upgrade my room from 9 beds to 6 for £1 which was nice. The pub was also great with chill vibes and good drinks.

The ensuite bathroom was really inconvenient - the sink was in the same area as the bed so when I got in late I was very conscious of waking others up when washing hands/brushing teeth etc. The shower was very small and dirty, the drain blocked with hair, and no hot water (which was ok in the heatwave, but otherwise wouldn't be ideal). Plus, it was just one toilet and one shower for 6 people.

advertised as air conditioned rooms but only the lobby/bar was air conditioned and the rooms were extremely hot. the power point in my bunk did not work also which was another advertised feature and when i asked for a bunk with a working power point or an extension lead i was refused. one or two members of staff were nice (the cleaning staff all lovely) but most of the actual check in and bar staff were rude and hostile. only cold water in shower worked so no warm shower either.

Staff were rude and ignored you at check in. Constantly on their phones. Spoke rudely to me when I got lost in the building despite the reason I did was because no instructions had been given, hung signs directed me to the wrong area and they had not locked up areas safely

I stayed at Urban Nomad Camden Town and, to be fair, the room itself was comfortable and clean — better than I expected for the price — and the breakfast was decent as well.

Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a very unpleasant incident with a member of the cleaning staff on 7 July, which completely affected our experience. My sister and I were staying in the 6-bed female dorm. Around lunchtime on our second day, a male cleaner entered the room and immediately started pointing at me, saying the floor needed sweeping because it was dirty. We said that was fine, but he then angrily accused me of not allowing the cleaner in the previous day, repeatedly saying “you, you, you didn’t let him in” while pointing his finger at me in an aggressive manner. I explained what had actually happened: the day before, shortly after we had checked in, a cleaner knocked at around 2–3pm saying he needed to sweep the floor. At that moment, we had just arrived and were not properly dressed, so we could not let him in. He asked if he could come back later, and I said yes. However, no one returned later that day. We then went out from around 3pm until midnight and did not think more of it, as it was not our responsibility to chase housekeeping. After I explained this, the staff member simply said he “didn’t know that was what happened” and that the cleaner had finished at 3pm. There was no apology. Instead, he dismissed it by saying “it’s fine.” I told him clearly that it was not fine with me. He had entered a female-only room, pointed at me aggressively, and accused me without first checking the facts. It is not the guest’s job to know staff working hours, and if a staff member says they will return later, then the hotel should ensure that actually happens or that someone else follows up. What made the situation worse was that, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, he started talking over me and said we were “not allowed to stop staff from cleaning the room.” That was completely unfair and inaccurate.

Het is een hostel! Ik moest vanwege trein canceling 1 nacht langer in london zijn, en koos voor deze goedkope optie! Maar het is echt overleven met 9 dames op de kamer en 1 toilet, en 1 douche die steenkoud was! Voor mij nooit weer! Je krijgt eigenlijk geen moment rust, en de kamer was ook nog eens veel te warm, er stond wel een waaier, maar die maakte zo een lawaai, dat het gek makend was. Voor mij dus een slechte ervaring, ik heb ook niet op het ontbijt gewacht maar al vroeg weg gegaan!

The position was amazing, the staff was friendly. The price was ok for being in a neighborhood like Camden Town.

Having to pay to rent a towel, the shower was very small and the water wasn't hot. The sink was in the room so it was very easy to bother the other people. The building overall is very old, some renovations to the windows would be very good.

The location was really nice, the rooms were clean and the staff was nice.

The shower room and toilet room need updating, maybe some curtains on the bunks for privacy.

There was nothing to like about this stay.

The room wasn't clean. I was there during the heatwave and our room had a small fan and no blinds, making it very uncomfortable to sleep in (heat, light and noise). The facilities and the room look more like a prison than a hostel.

It's cheap and the location is great.

I used to come here regularly when it was a Belushi's. Since it's been taken over by Urban Nomad, the place is falling apart, literally. The biggest issue for me with the place is security. The lockers are too small to fit your luggage in so you have to leave it lying around. I stayed in the big room that sleeps 12 people. The door into the room doesn't self close, so you've got to rely on other people to actually close the door, which they don't. At one point, I went down to the bar area, and when I came back upstairs, the door to the room was wide open and my bag was clearly on display and somebody had stolen my water bottle. I checked my bag and luckily nothing else was gone. I woke up several times in the night to find the door wide open and people having conversations in the corridor. I ended up moving my luggage onto the bed with me. Also, the place desperately needs investment. They've stripped it back to bare brick and it seems they've ran out of money to finish the job. The toilets and showers are nasty and falling apart. Curtains are missing on beds and some of the plug sockets and lights don't work. It feels like sleeping in a crack den.

Most staff was pleasant. One staff member was extremely rude, refused to provide coffee (when empty) and was hostile.

I mean it’s cheap so you get what you pay for. It want terrible but again, the price per night was super cheap.

I guess it was cheap and breakfast lasts you untill you have time to eat later during day. beds were comfy so at least for me no problems with sleeping.

Definitely could use renovation. Room was ok except ventilation. in the evening when everyone was in room and there was no air movement it smelt like old socks. Showers were not very clean and trash on short shelf were not cleaned for 3 days. Breakfast was toast + butter, cereal and natural jogurt + fruit. instant coffe wasn't great but with milk and the price breakfast was ok enough. In general it's probably better find some place a bit more expensive but in better state. but if you just need to sleep for 1/2 days it's doable.

I liked the the hostel, Female one clean bed and room. Its easy for commuting from station and also good spot for wide range of food and the best part is the local fruit market next to it! Good decent breakfast, saves money!

If you can look into these two matters. As this is my 2nd visit and I still see them 1. Sink tap water, is extremely hot. It would be better if you could fix this as most of the time we use it for quick face wash or hand washes. I was not able to go to the shower and waah my face all the time. 2. The shower curtain looks like it got some mould and Im afraid if it comes contact with skin while shovering. Its very much inconvenient. I wish you replace it with new one or a clean one. Thank you

Appreciate the toilets are clean and its hand wash as Orchids flavor is fresh and leave smell good long that impress me most. Other is average and good like environment and convenience travel, walk around. Recommend rent bed in the inn.

Provide ham may even advantage, walk quite much stair to the bedroom in top floor but okay for exercise.

First thing you see when you walk in is a lot of rubbish. Thought I had accidentally walked into someone basement. It was giving Hostel (2005). Original walked down the stairs because there were no directions as to where the actual rooms were. This took me into a room with more rubbish everywhere. In the morning I wake up, and I have no towel, I remember that I saw downstairs that there were piles of towels and clean washing labeled as ‘towels’ etc etc, so I go to to retrieve one, as I’m walking back up with the towel I’m stopped by one of staff who tells me off, very rudely, and says “what makes you think you can just walk down here and take the towels”, I dunno, maybe the utter mess everywhere and the fact that the towels are out in the open, in a communal area with no clear indication that these are not for guests to help themselves to. Spoke to me as if I was a horrible thief, over a 1% cotton towel that could barely comfortably wrap around a 1ft 2 child. My second night staying there, I arrive back at 5am, after work, just to find that the hostel had set up stage for a rendition of Les Miserables by forming a barricade with a tray of Hovis white bread and cartons oat milk. Now in an ideal world, I would always side with the people who set up that barricade, but unfortunately on this occasion I had to take up the roll of Javert to knock it down (move it aside), as to open the door, you pull it open, not push. After a 12 hour shift on minimum wage, the last thing I wanted to do was free labour. And the worst part is, I didn’t even get to eat the toast the next morning. If I was St Christopher’s I would probably take some kind of legal action against this place still keeping their branding and signage up everywhere. I booked with St Christopher in Paris next week and when I saw the state of this place and the St Christopher’s signage everywhere, I canceled my stay at the Paris location.

Nicely located next to a tube. Room was clean. It was nice that breakfast was included and coffee and toast was a good start to the day.

They had nowhere for me to leave my bag securely. I asked about a storage area and was directed to a corner of the bar that wasn't even a cupboard. The communal area was essentially a building site so nowhere to relax other than the bar or your bed. I arrived at 2.45 and the person working the desk very rudely told me to come back at 3. I had booked a 6 bed ensuite but upon going to the room I saw that the toilet in the room was out of order so paying extra for an ensuite was pointless.

Location is good and easy to find, between two tube stations which are a short journey from central London. Bar/staff downstairs welcoming. Room and facilities in good order allowing myself to get the rest I needed to crack-on with my day ahead. Will keep this location for future visits to the capital. No exclusion on age.

Price for beer was a little more that I like paying for being a Northerner. Needing to download an app to be given a number is a little over kill, I just wanted to check in and crack on unwinding but do understand the need for security for all residents.

Poor air quality, there is no ventilation in the room, windows are not openable. With that many people in the room (farting, dirty shoes etc) we had the door had to be open and then the noise from corridor kept me waking up. breakfast starts to late for me as I usualy leave 7-7.30am.

Stayed here quite a few times, great spot right near the middle of camden, walking distance to Euston. Room full of triple bunks, lockers are available, curtains around each bed for privacy. Very good price for the location
