La hospitalidad, la tranquilidad del entorno y la cama. La habitación era normalita, pero tenía lo necesario y dormimos muy bien El desayuno cocinado al momento y muy bien servido. A tan solo unos minutos de Bude y parking en la puerta de la vivienda

Habría pequeños detalles a mejorar, como la luz para la mesa escritorio, pero la verdad es que no hubo nada que resultara molesto, incómodo, inadecuado...

The bathroom was a bit small. The shower was within the bath and being quite tall meant I struggled to get under the shower properly

The welcome was great. Very warm and their home was your home nothing was to much trouble breakfast was great would definitely stay there again slept like a log they have 6 dogs which are so friendly. But if you don't like animals it's not for you hospitality out of this world.

Breakfast could of been hotter but I didn't tell them but sure they would of rectified it without a doubt. 2nd I didn't want to go home .

Hosts were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you, and all the animals/pets were a great bonus. Hosts provided packed lunch for our travel home as we missed breakfast. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was good

The only thing we would say is our bed was a little uncomfortable and a few cobwebs in the bedroom. Other than that, lovely stay overall

Hosts were fabulous. Very accommodating and attentive. The setting was beautiful, perfect location for us. Bude town walking distance and widemouth bay beach also close enough to walk along coastal path. Bonus for me as the owners had donkeys and alpaca 🥰

Me and my wife enjoyed the hospitality by the hosts Steve and Flavio . We loved the dogs who live there and the animals outside. The advice we got to where to visit was excellent and the breakfasts were very good . I would say if you dont want dogs around you for breakfast than this is not for you.

Steve & Flàvio are the perfect hosts. Very friendly & helpful. The breakfasts were delicious & set us up for the day. We had stunning views of the countryside & the ocean from our room, & of course the alpacas, donkeys, geese, ducks & chickens. The family dogs are gorgeous, & friendly like their owners. We brought our own 2 dogs with us & they all got along lovely. We would highly recommend this lovely little b&b, & we are definitely going back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Both Steve and Flavio were excellent hosts. Both so welcoming and they couldn't do enough. The bed was very comfortable, the room was cosy but adequate, the choices for breakfast were superb and the actual food was beautifully cooked. Seeing the alpacas, donkeys and hearing the other animals, was a wonderful surprise. The fact that they accept dogs and have five dogs themselves, is such an asset to their property. I loved my one night stay and will return when I come back to the area.

Not that I didnt like it, as I managed to have a suitable shower, but it could be a bit more powerful, perhaps with a booster. Only a suggestion, not a complaint. Everything else was great!

Beautiful location and wonderful hosts. Flávio and Steve were so generous with carrying bags, giving directions and especially at breakfast where no-one ever went hungry!

Peaceful location looking out onto fields of alpacas, ducks, geese, chickens. Lovely outdoor seating areas to enjoy whilst waiting for our fabulous breakfast to be served. Very welcoming and generous hosts looked after us, as well as their five dogs! Flavio was extremely helpful answering all my pre-arrival questions promptly. The house was filled with interesting items, clean and comfortable - a great place to stay.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are dated but that just added to the charm of the place.

Unfortunately I suffered a bad bout of food poisoning while I was there, not from this B&B I hasten to add. So I was in no position to either judge or make full use of it. But my partner and the other guests said it was super, there was certainly very large portions.

The bathroom had a sloping roof, which meant that you couldn't stand upright when using the toilet or wash hand basin.

Really good location. Close to Bude and near Widemouth beach. Breakfast was great. Steven and Flávio are fantastic hosts. Great to be somewhere so dog friendly.

Friendly hosts

Although brief, our stay was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. We were given a very warm welcome and had a lovely stay. Due to an early start we were unable to make breakfast, however our wonderful hosts made up a huge packed lunch for us to take away with us. Our room was made up just as requested, the room was bright and comfortable and had everything we needed. Meeting the donkeys, alpacas, chickens and host of friendly dogs was the icing on the cake. Conveniently located for Bude itself, yet far enough out to experience the peace and tranquility of the beautiful coastline. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you, we will be back! For longer next time.

Lovely owners. Nothing too much trouble for them. Amazing breakfast. Slept really well and room had everything I needed. Travelling on my own I felt safe there. Love all the animals and dogs.

There was nothing I wasn't happy with.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Steve and Flavio were wonderful hosts. Room was lovely, breakfast excellent. The location is idylic. Added bonus that there is Alpacas and Donkeys that Steve provided carrots so I could feed them, also the resident dogs, especially Oscar, are a beautiful addition. We will definitely be back.

A home away from home. We felt so welcome and at ease with our rescue dog. Hosts were absolutely amazing. Bedroom was comfortable and had everything we needed with a beautiful view. We will be back!

It's a beautiful place to stay. very welcoming and I felt very relaxed The bedroom, bathroom were very clean and the breakfast was lovely. The animals are also very lovely

only thing is the toilet seat doesn't stay up

The property was a hidden gem, that was more than I expected. Flavio and Steve were wonderful hosts and I had a great time feeding the Alpacas and the donkeys. My room had a great view of the countryside and the sea.

There was nothing that I didn’t like, it was a perfect fit for me.

The location was beautiful, Fabio an Steve made us feel very welcome and provided an excellent breakfast. The facilities in the room however were poor.

Not being dog people we were uncomfortable with dogs running around at breakfast time.

Flavio and Steve are wonderfully friendly hosts. The selection of animals (alpacas, donkeys, poultry and dogs) is a brilliant addition. The location is very quiet but within striking distance of Bude and the coast path. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of fruit available to take away.

The house is a little quirky and our room had some quirks: the toilet cistern was away from the wall somewhat; the bathroom door had a few gaps between it and the door frame and also the sloping ceiling meant it was not possible to stand up to have a shower. Personally, I didn't mind any of this but perhaps some people would.

Where do I start,unable to flush toilet tank because of very slow filling l informed the owner of this and he said that he was waiting for a Plumber to get it fixed and give it time and it will fill eventually. Shower folding doors wouldn't close properly shower head adjustment was held together with black insulation tap6. Couldn't wash properly because of sloping ceiling, there were two four poster beds in room both pushed tight against the wall so the only way I could use the toilet (that I couldn't flush)was to disturb my poor wife) room decor was very tired,bedding far from fresh,dressing gowns hanging behind the bedroom door had seen better days and left them hang, the only saving grace was the breakfast which was very good but had to ask for cereal owner said that people either had breakfast or cereal these days two bowls were laid out for a couple who were "healthy eaters " and were having cereal and fruit,He produced two bowls for me and another gentleman sat on the table where we were all sat trying to make polite conversation. The owner was very friendly but needs to up his game. The room should never have been advertised as available until the Plumbing had been fixed. I think as soon as you mention that you require a dog friendly room you are given sub-standard rooms and get on with it although you have paid for the privilege.

Breakfast was very nice, the coast was just 2min. Nice beach.

Very friendly and helpful owner

The hosts Steve and Flavio were just superb. Nothing at all was too much trouble. We were treated more like friends than guests from the moment we arrived. The house was simply amazing and full of character. We had a lovely view out towards the sea from our room. We were offered a wonderful choice of breakfast, which was cooked and served perfectly. We were even encouraged to take plenty of fruit for our onward journey. They have the most wonderful friendly dogs, and outside have donkeys and alpacas, which we fed, alongside a few geese and chickens. The only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer. Having said that, I can definitely say we will be back again, for longer next time. Highly recommend just doesn't do it justice.Thank you!

This is a delightful property, full of charm and stuffed with interesting artifacts in every room. The residents dogs are friendly, especially the big Pointer called Oscar who is lovely. My request to change the date of booking was accommodated without fuss and we enjoyed our one-night stay very much. Hope to make it a longer one next time. The only downside for us was that we had a double bed instead of two singles. We do like to spread out for comfort! Bude is a great location and we were sorry that we missed out on a swim in the sea pool. Next time for definite!

Beautiful setting..looking out over cliffs lots of cliff walks. convenience ..out of main centre, yet near enough to pop in. Loved the animals, watching them get up in the morning. Hosts could not have done enough to make our stay more enjoyable. Our dogs were very much welcome and loved their break.

We were only their for a couple of days and wished we could have stopped longer

We had booked and paid for a 2 night stay here, but left after the 1st night without having breakfast. It’s dog friendly but we weren’t expecting the owner to have at least 5 dogs running around downstairs urinating and pooping in the lounge diner where we were supposed to eat. Hygiene was poor, as Steve didn’t clean up after the dogs. My husband said to Steve about the dogs messing everywhere and he replied “ they always do that”. Our room was basic and upstairs where the owners dogs weren’t allowed, but it was late when my husband realised about the dogs, so we packed up the next morning and left. This place is not safe to stay due to very lax hygiene. We also had to find another place to stay and pay again due to this poor holiday B&B.

Steve made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It was a real home from home and we love our stay at Upton Cross B&B. Really comfortable bed and everything you need for an overnight stay. Fabulous home cooked hearty breakfast. Easy to find and lots of parking. Had a take away delivered in the evening and ate on the patio with the evening sun over looking the lamas and donkeys. An added bonus of being able to have a picnic to take with us next day. Would highly recommend a night stay. It’s so lovely, like a “slice of heaven”. Great location very close to Bude and not far from Widemouth Bay.

I can't speak highly enough of the owners and this bed and breakfast, what a diamond find this was ,lovely comfortable rooms, the breakfast was superb and nothing was too much trouble, the animals were an added bonus ,if u are thinking of booking here ,just do it ,you won't be disappointed believe me

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The B&B is beautifully maintained and set in a peaceful location with lovely views. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Breakfast was very good, dogs very friendly. TV allowed us to watch what we wanted, not always the case with resticted channels elsewhere. Only required one night accomodation for the event we travel;ed for, so pleased with the result. Already familiar with the area, but unable to stay with relations on this occation. Excellent hosts.

Bedroom was very basic and needed complete modernising. Single glazed windows allowing drafts in. Paint splashes on blinds. If you dont like dogs this accommodation isn't for you

The only problem we found was the parking wasn't the most convenient, that being said it was that we couldn't find a space its just a bit awkward.

The staff was amazing, the house is nice and cozy, the furnishing is very well put together. If that’s not enough, there are alpacas, donkeys, chicken and ducks that are super friendly!🥰 The view to the ocean is great too. Oh, and there are dogs. Lots of dogs. Each and every one of them is a great guy!
