Great hotel! Rooms are excellent and spatious. Beds are very comfy. The indoor swimming pool and onsen are nice, and we liked the outdoor pool as well. Staff are excellent, very friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet has lots of food options. Good location in Onna area. Close to many restaurants and shops.

Breakfast booking system should be changed. You have to wake up and join an online queue for an hour. Queue opens at 5:30am. The gym lacks a range of equipment.

朝食が大変おいしかった。刺身やローストビーフがおいしく、ビュッフェ形式で自分の好きな量を食べられるのが良かった、 部屋の設備もよく、朝目覚めた時の海の景色が最高だった。 室内プールやタイガービーチ、大浴場などを利用させていただき、とても良い宿泊経験となった。

ジムは特に利用価値を感じなかった。ジムを別料金にして、ビーチと大浴場だけを楽しむプランがあってもいいと思った。

Staff is super nice, helpful and polite. Room is spacious and very clean. We feel very enjoyable to stay in Monterey. There is an elevator can go down to the beach. We love the sauna and hot spring/bathing. Even there is a fee but it’s reasonable. The hotel itself is beautiful as well. Nice view and good location. Highly recommended!

Some weird smell in the corridor and the room. Need to wait for the breakfast as it’s always full. Even tho you can get the ticket on the phone, but need to wake up early for that. A little bit inconvenient.

It operates more like a mid-tier cruise ship than a luxury resort. For the price, I found it very overpriced for what you actually get. To be completely honest, I ended up going to the Hyatt just to get the level of luxury and service I was expecting. There’s no proper room service, no real lobby experience, and almost every restaurant requires advance booking and has limited availability. There are also very few facilities or experiences geared toward adults. Even if you’re choosing the hotel mainly for the kids, I think you’d be better off staying at the Hyatt or Halekulani, where you can still have a family-friendly experience without sacrificing the luxury side of the trip. If you can get a deal at around 50% off the normal price, then it might be worth considering. Otherwise, for the money, I would recommend looking at the Hyatt or Halekulani instead.

Eccezionale resort, abbiamo prenotato il pacchetto premium con camera al 12 piano, spa e lounge inclusi con mezza pensione. Voucher e buoni da usufruire in struttura, se si decide di non far pulire la camera ti ringraziano con 1500 yen in buoni da spendere in struttura. 1 ora di taxi dall'aereoprto di Nara. La colazione a buffet é organizzata tramite app che bisogna utilizzare per la prenotazione numerica, funziona bene e si hanno 20 minuti per presentarsi dopo la chiamata. Opzione colazione giapponese sempre con prenotazione il giorno prims! Ci sono 5 ristoranti da poter prenotare a piacere, extra a pagamento in base a quello che si desidera bere e mangiare. I ristoranti giapponese e kobe sono i migliori in assoluto. La cena al kobe é stata eccezionale, uno chef personale ha cucinato per noi portate di pesce fresco e carne di alto livello, wasabi gratuggiato fresco al momento, verdure e tofu deliziosi. Lo Chef Yara ha superato le nostre aspettative e ci ha veramente coccolato con le sue maestrie! Un grazie particolare alle cameriere della lounge. Sachina é semplicemente fantastica, una ragazza solare che ci ha fatto sentire coccolati e con il suo sorriso solare e la sua professionalitá ha contribuito a rendere il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile!! Yuri Nakamura una signora giapponese con la sua professionalitá, ha notevolmente contribuito al nostro relax pomeridiano. Congratulazioni a tutto lo staff che ringraziamo di cuore per l'ospitalitá!! I concierge e tutto lo staff del ricevimento sono fantastici e molto professionali, ci hanno assistito per ogni richiesta di ogni genere. La nostra camera era lussuosa con un balcone vista mare, pulizia top, letto confortevole. Grande bagno con doccia e vasca. Consiglio di usare l'autobus per visitare l'isola al fine di godersi in tutto relax la vista e il panorama. Spiaggia piccola con ottimi servizi, mare fantastico! La piscina all'aperto con vista mare é un alternativa con varie vasche.

The air con in the common areas is way too cold. The breakfast buffet was pretty gross (sorry), the food was not fresh and not nice. Only thing I felt was edible were the pancakes and the pineapple. Even my kids didn’t rate the waffles. Also our room had a damp smell.

Overnatningsstedet har et frygteligt pointsystem, som kræver, at man hele tiden bruger vouchers til eksempelvis at reservere strandstole, at komme i fitness o.lign., i stedet for blot at tjekke op på, om man har købt de faciliteter med via værelsesnummeret. Derudover skal man for at have bord ved morgenmaden, ringe enten 05:30 eller kl. 07:00 til receptionen, og ellers skal man stå trække et nummer for at kunne komme i kø til et bord. Det betyder også, at de samtidigt udlodder vouchers, hvis man vælger at tage morgenmaden med op på værelset – grundlæggende fordi de ikke rigtigt har plads nok. Derudover skal man, til trods for at den er åben til kl. 10:00, komme før kl. 08:00, for at der er mad nok.

We stayed at Hotel Monterey Okinawa for a family birthday trip, but it was a terrible experience. Our young child fell ill and the hotel refused to offer any room service or even allow takeaway food from the restaurant. They also enforced a ridiculous water policy: only 3 bottles per room per day for adults, and children were not entitled to any, even when sick. The front desk staff was impatient and dismissive throughout. This is not the hospitality we expected, and I would not recommend this hotel for families. Not family-friendly at all. We will not return.

To Hotel Monterey Okinawa Spa and Resort, I need your help. I am looking for a white-red stripes shirt. I had a great time with my family during our stay on 20-22,June this year at your hotel. Unfortunately, I seemed to have left one of my clothes in the closet in the room of 637 (if I remember it correctly). 相較於高房費，設備相對老舊。室內泳池、健身房等設施，還要另外付費。海灘遮陽傘及沙灘椅也要另外收費。由於房價已頗高，其他額外的費用也不少。性價比較低

조식.. 부페형 서양식은 대기가 1시간씩 육박함에도 메뉴가 먹을게없습니다.. 디저트나 빵만 많고 단백질이 너무 부족해요 또 수영장운영이 6월에 6시까지밖에안되서 외부일정을 마치면 수영을 하기가 거의 힘들었습니다

Very, very nice hotel in a great location. It’s a short walk to many restaurants and a Family Mart and two Lawson’s. The staff were all super friendly and extremely helpful. The water pressure in the shower is good and the bathroom products are beautiful. We had a great sea view from our room.

The bed is a little hard and the pillows aren’t great either. The shower has a shower curtain over the bath. I’m not a fan of shower curtains for hygiene reasons. The Restaurants in the hotel are all quite expensive by Japanese standards.

Super smukt sted. Rent, pænt og mange faciliteter. Personalet var søde. Dog dårlige til engelsk. Værelset stort med flot udsigt Onsen helt fantastisk. OBS på at der er ikke noget at snorkle efter ved stranden i nærheden. Kun få fisk. Så dog en hav slange.

At der hele tiden skulle betales ekstra for faciliteterne. Ved poolen skulle der betales for de “behagelige” liggestole. Ved stranden skulle der betales for brugen af strandstole. Vi fik 2 stk selvom vi var 4. Man skulle betale ca1500 yen for et stole sæt. Det er ikke beløbet der irriterer, men at man skal betale for det på ens egn hotel når man bor der i 7 dage. Morgenmads buffeten var fantastisk, men selve restauranten var som en kantine. Slet ikke 5 stjernet standard. Larm og for mange mennesker. Det var en hektisk morgenmad og på ingen måde afslappet atmosfære. Kaffen er fra en automat der ikke smagte godt. Personalet var dog meget søde. Vær obs på at i indendørs poolen er de meget strenge med at børn under 12 år ikke må være i poolen alene uanset hvor gode svømmere de er. Selvom poolens dybde er 1.2m skal der være en voksen i poolen konstant.

• 一般房型住客無法將車停放於室內停車場，需升級俱樂部房型才能使用，體驗不佳。（實際觀察Club Lounge內容相當陽春，僅提供簡單飲料與點心，營業時間短，與房價不成比例。） • 房間清潔細節有待加強，入住時發現蜘蛛網及前一位住客留下的明顯痕跡。 • 「高級豪華套房」景觀不如預期，房間位置偏遠，窗外景觀大部分為停車場與泳池，海景比例有限。 • 房型樓層安排也讓我有些疑問。訂房頁面標示客房位於5–11樓，但由於泳池及停車場位於2樓，因此5樓其實是4樓。我入住期間觀察到，同樓層幾位住客皆是透過訂房網站預訂，因此讓我感覺訂房網站客人似乎較容易被安排在較低樓層。不過這只是我個人的觀察，未必代表飯店實際分房政策。 • 泳池規模偏小，且躺椅數量不足。大量躺椅需額外付費，沙灘躺椅更是全面收費（俱樂部房型除外），以339間客房的規模來說明顯不足。 • 風勢稍大時即全面收起陽傘，導致付費躺椅的使用價值大幅降低。 • 早餐品質普通，以此價位帶的度假飯店而言缺乏特色與精緻度。 • 冰箱冷藏效果不佳。 這間飯店最大的優勢在於硬體設施，但在許多服務項目上都採取額外收費或權益分級的做法，容易讓人產生「處處要加價」的感受。真正優秀的度假飯店除了硬體之外，更重要的是讓旅客感受到被照顧與被款待。很可惜，雖然員工都很友善，但整體制度與服務設計並未讓我感受到高級度假飯店應有的賓至如歸。

The hotel is big and so are the rooms. We received vouchers to use at the hotel which was really nice. They also have a very good spa..

The location was less convenient It was difficult to find non-Japanese restaurants in the area It required an hour or more of travel to another area so we didn't like that much

The property is beautiful . We enjoyed the pool and hotter/bath area. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We booked an upgraded ocean view room which I think was worth the additional price.

The food at the buffet was ok but not worth the price.

Die Pools, der Strand und die Aussicht waren wunderbar.

Wer Ruhe beim Frühstück braucht ist hier fehl am Platz. Das Hotel ist sehr auf Kinder ausgerichtet.

Das Hotel überzeugt durch seine hervorragende Lage direkt am Tiger Beach. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich zahlreiche Restaurants sowie eine gut angebundene Busverbindung, die eine schnelle und unkomplizierte Fahrt in die Stadt ermöglicht. Die Innenausstattung ist äußerst geschmackvoll: Antike Möbelstücke und ausgewählte Kunstwerke verleihen dem Ambiente eine elegante, zugleich moderne Note. Das Personal zeichnet sich durch große Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft aus. Alle Zimmer bieten einen direkten Blick auf den Strand und das Meer, was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich bereichert. Ergänzt wird das Angebot durch einen sehr ansprechenden SPA‑Bereich, der für zusätzliche Entspannung sorgt und den Aufenthalt insgesamt noch angenehmer gestaltet.

Leider muss ich einen Punkt ansprechen, der in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie nicht auftreten sollte. Während des Taifuns waren alle Gäste aus Sicherheitsgründen verpflichtet, im Hotel zu bleiben. Da die Wetterlage dem Management frühzeitig bekannt war, war es umso überraschender, dass die gastronomischen Bereiche an diesem Tag nicht angemessen vorbereitet waren. Es kam zu erheblichen Wartezeiten, und uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass die Küche lediglich bis 15:00 Uhr geöffnet sei und erst ab 18:00 Uhr wieder Speisen anbiete. Erst nach einer Rücksprache an der Rezeption konnten wir unser Mittagessen um 16:00 Uhr erhalten. Auch andere Gäste waren von dieser Situation betroffen. Selbstverständlich habe ich Verständnis für die besonderen Herausforderungen eines Taifuns. Gerade unter solchen Umständen ist es jedoch essenziell, flexibel zu planen, ausreichend Personal einzusetzen und sicherzustellen, dass Gäste angemessen versorgt werden, ohne dass Mitarbeitende überlastet werden. Letzteres war leider deutlich zu beobachten. Die Verantwortung hierfür liegt aus meiner Sicht beim Management, nicht bei den Mitarbeitenden, die unter schwierigen Bedingungen ihr Bestes gegeben haben.

Hotel Monterey is a really beautiful hotel right next to the beach which was a huge plus for us. Also, it was very easy to rent an umbrella and sun-beds which can be used during your whole stay as a hotel guest. The room was spacious with huge bed and windows overlooking the ocean. The bathroom was also great with great amenities available. The breakfast buffet was great with a wide variety of salty and sweet options. You could enjoy it by looking at the ocean as well.

Le buffet était super bon. Ce qui nous a particulièrement touché c’était le live kitchen avec les assiettes décorées pour les desserts. Personnel très sympathique.

It feels very tired. You also have to pay for everything additionally, like sunbeds by the pool which we were not expecting. There were a lot of children and we had to queue to get into breakfast.

Классное расположение: рядом все есть — и рестораны, и бары, и комбини. Очень приветливый и классный персонал. Вкусные завтраки и круто организованы электронные очереди на них.

Особо нечем заняться, долгое ожидание лифтов, потому что на такую махину их всего по 2 в разных концах отеля. Слишком много детей 😅

אחלה ארוחת בוקר. הבעיה הייתה זמני ההמתנה ושצריך להירשם וכל ההתנהלות מאוד מוזרה. אבל ארוחת הבוקר עצמה מגוונת ומצוינת. הקפה הוא ממכונה אוטומטית.

החדרים קצת מיושנים, כל המלון מרגיש מיושן, המתקנים לא הכי נוחים. אין מיטות זוגיות זה תמיד 2 מיטות מחוברות שזה ממש מבאס. למי שמגיע עם תינוק- הפתרון שמציעים לא רלוונטי בכלל. צריך להביא לול (זה מוזר כי זה מלון ילדים) המלון מאוד מותאם לילדים שזה היתרון המשמעותי והסיבה שבחרנו את המלון.

The room and view was nice. Parking service staff was very nice. Cleaning was good (even though there cleaning concept is really weird).

You have to pay extra for every little detail. Food in restaurant is very overpriced. Breakfast nothing special. Staff not very nice. We had an issue during our stay the staff was not only not helpful we felt really fooled and were left behind as really unhappy customers. All in all the try but are in reality far from a 5 star hotel. Not worth the amount of money spent. Location is okay, but also not close to a very lively area; without a car simply impossible, beach also not that nice.

Même si la pluie nous a accompagnés pendant tout notre séjour à Okinawa, cet hôtel est l’endroit idéal où séjourner dans ces conditions : finalement, le mauvais temps n’a pas gâché notre expérience. La vue restait magnifique malgré la météo, ce qui rendait le cadre très agréable. Entre les piscines extérieures et intérieures, l’espace de jeux avec piscine à balles, et la chambre spacieuse, notre fils ne s’est pas ennuyé une seule minute. Un excellent choix pour un séjour en famille, même lorsqu’il pleut.

This is a beautiful resort right on Tiger Beach. We loved the location away from Naha, because it was the end of our Japan vacation and we knew we’d be tired of big cities. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with spacious rooms and gorgeous views.

We would’ve liked more options a to grab quick snacks, or coffee and pastries for breakfast.
