room very basic for price, thought I'd paid for breakfast but that probably got lost in the confusion of booking. Like the location of the hotel , but there are others in the area which I will check 0ut in future

every thing stripped back to basics, no small extras, shower cap etc., water you have to walk around for the hydration station, staff seemed indifferent, book in time very late, will cancel booking in future if unable to meet requests

Black stains on the carpet making it look unclean. One of the two lamps did not function. Gentleman at the reception was unhelpful. Dust all over the TV. AC doesn't do nish, even after leaving on for 12 hours the room only cooled down by 2 degrees.

Loved the unique design and the art installation pieces. The room was a good size and the bed was comfy. The shower was amazing and for the cost and what you got it was definitely a win. Plus a good location only 10 mins walk from Westfield and Shepherds bush Station.

Room is fair clean, but the window be locked, it was really hot, air quality is very poor. The aircon is not working at all, rang the reception, one male staff said will give me a fan , but never turn up, ring up , they cut my call , tried twice they keep cutting off . I went out at mid night, found a fan by myself , awful sleep.

After having a few issues with the room for my first night stay , this did get resolved in the end and staff were helpful in making that happen . nice clean hotel , comfortable bed , good sized room , very quiet and in a location where transport links are very good with a lot of bars and restaurants close by

I have stayed here a few times now and the last 3 times I have stayed , the rooms air conditioning has not been working resulting in the last 2 times having to change rooms to an accessibility room which was a bit of a inconvenience and not my original booking option . my original option room had a power shower in a walk in shower which has been excellent previously , the power shower here is probably the best I have used in hotels , however , with the change in rooms , ended up being in a bath with a lot less shower pressure

I rented this hotel because it had air-conditioning. When I got there, they wanted to put me in the dungeon. A dirty scruffy room that had no bed frame looked like the mattress was on the floor, no air-conditioning but a fan. I was furious. I demanded they give me another room n they. They kept telling my sister and I they were full. Until we fussed n fussed n they gave us a room at the West which we had booked for our return from France.

I liked the presence of the building and the communal areas, these were very nice and very impressive.

The rooms in comparison were tired- the decor, the bed base and the furniture all could have done with a refresh. I was also asked to pay a deposit on arrival- something I have not had to do before! It was refunded, but took £50 out of my account during my trip!

We liked that it was local to the event we were attending. Everything such as the shopping centre were within walking distance for us to shop before attending the event.

Staff seemed quite cold and distant, cleaners would knock once and then try to enter the room which was quite annoying. The bathroom is so small, you wouldn't be able to swing a cat in there. The air conditioning kept coming on despite our attempts to turn it off. You are only told about a discretionary surcharge once you have paid which is a shame as it can catch you off guard.

Rather odd to have a window albeit frosted between the bathroom and the bedroom Shower pressure was a bit soft. There were two shampoo containers in the shower and the shower gel was outside by the sink, making things a bit tricky.

Not a 4 star breakfast; no butter!

The bed was very comfortable although on the slighter smaller side given it's in Central London it's acceptable. I slept very well in the bed. I was able to get complimentary check out for 11.30, which was useful. I was also able to have my luggage kept safely at the hotel reception locker. Location was central, loads of food options, walking distance to main tube lines and Westfield shopping centre.

The hotel is meant to be a four star hotel, I understand that there due to being friendly environment reducing bottles however, the water is only available at reception, they should put water stand on every floor, to support this new scheme. The bathroom didn't have anything other than shower gell and body lotion, no amenities at all. The power sockets are not upto date, so if you don't have your plug you won't be able to charge your phone or laptops, so this is nuance. The lighting in the room was terrible, so low and dim. If you want to do your hair best to go to the bathroom. The staff are not as welcoming as they used to be, the following day slightly better. Only the female receptionist was polite but most of the men at the reception were unpolite and didn't seem organised. You do get charged £50, this will be taken out of your debit card, but kept as holding if you use a Visa. They don't tell you this, so best to use visa card. I did get my £50 within hour after check out.

The property was close to central and easy to use the bus and underground.

During my check-in, I found the welcome and greeting quite disappointing. The host did not provide a proper introduction or explain important information, such as the breakfast hours or which hotel facilities were available for me to use. Unfortunately, I also noticed that the pillow had an unpleasant smell, the bed had not been made to a professional standard, and the shower water pressure was extremely low, which made the overall experience less comfortable.

I was accommodated to move to another room when requested (2 beds-as I booked) however the beds were very small. My friend moved rooms 4 times & eventually they moved her to a different property. The lobby was very nice!

This hotel was dated and wasn't very clean. The safe didn't work in the room & when security fixed it--it broke the very next day. The shower door wouldn't close and required servicing because the head was spraying everywhere. When I request the staff to service it, they came to the room but it was not fix. Lastly, there were little white bugs living under the bed. Most laughable, I received an email saying I received 0 points for my stay LOL.

Terrible customer service. We got woken up by somebody trying to break into our room at 1:00 am. They then came back with security in the middle of the night because a drunk person thought it was their room. They hadn’t even checked the reservation system. The aircon didn’t work and it was about 40 degrees celcius in the room. Avoid if you can. When asked anything, the night staff was rude and aggressive.

Air conditioning throughout the hotel was broken. I was made aware of this by a colleague who was staying here. I reached out to the hotel to ask to cancel as I hadnt checked in yet, and they refused to refund, even though they admitted the airconditioning was not working and it was over 30 degrees heat in London. The windows don't open in the rooms either! Terrible service, used technicality that you cant cancel on the day with booking.com - room not as advertised. Not worth its stars.

Great location with lots of shops and restaurants locally. Transport was really easy with the underground a short walking distance away and buses available just outside the hotel. The staff on the desk who id spoke to were really friendly when I had some issues and looked into it

Overall my experience was very disappointing. I booked the stay as part of a birthday present for my niece. The room itself is not cheap and when we arrived after spending around 30 minutes queuing to check in, our first room was unsatisfactory. It was very unclean, with visible stains and dust everywhere, the air con didn’t work, and the drain in the shower smelt terrible. I had to go back to the desk to ask for a new room, which they did facilitate. The second room was slightly cleaner and overall condition was better, the air con seemed to work a bit better but I had started to unpack and went to take a shower and the shower did not work. For the third time I called the guest service desk and they again switched me to another room, the shower worked but the air con didn’t. We didn’t realise the air con wasn’t working properly until after we got back to the hotel late at night and by this point we were too tired to deal with yet any other issue. I felt these were all very basic standards that we expect of a supposedly 4 star hotel. The overall reviews and images from the reviews on booking.com were misleading slightly when I had booked it a few months back. It was not worth the price at all and they most definitely should not be charging people 5% service fee, for that reason. It became apparent the hotel were aware the air con wasn’t working which explains why there were portable ones and fans dotted around outside certain rooms, but this hasn’t been communicated to guests.

Not a problem for us as we are not disabled but room was not wheelchair bound friendly. Staff attitude not pleasing Insufficient storage space (drawers) for anything more than one change of clothes (four very narrow drawers only in whole room). Breakfast poor. We didn't book breakfast but we were in a party of four families. Two families relocated to an adjacent hotel because air conditioning not working in their rooms and one room flooded. One family booked breakfast but we were told it was nearly inedible. Our "accessible" room would not be fit for someone in a wheelchair. There was no circulation space around the whole room, the bathroom towel rail was inaccessible from a wheelchair (top of towel rail over 2m high) The bath taps were too close to the wall to get a good grip to turn. Bath water temperature control very "temperamental" We booked for two nights although in two separate bookings. As recorded above we had to change our allocated room due to the air conditioning in this room not working. On the morning following our first nights stay the Housekeeping Manager knocked on our door and asked what time we would be checking out. We explained that we were staying a second night in our reallocated room, which he was unaware of. We were attending a wedding reception on the second day and evening. When we returned to the hotel our key card had been blocked and we had to go to Reception to ask it be reprogrammed. The receptionist did not apologise or make any other comment. It appears there was no communication between reception staff or house management staff. The reception staff told us that air conditioning was not fully functional because of the excessive outside temperature and we believe many guests were complaining. Not acceptable for a four star hotel.

The location and Elemis products. The staff were efficient, professional and helpful on the 2 occassions I called the reception.

The AC didn't work at all, worse during the hottest day in London. I had to call and request a cooler which was very noisy as I was getting headaches. The room didn't have a window. I had to walk the whole corridor(2), to the water fountain to get water. There were no tissues, no shower cap, no sanitary bag for women, the shower had no health and safety handles and it was dangerous because of the marble tiles. I felt vulnerable in case I lost balance, also the shower had no place to put my shower products and flanels. They need to change the remote control for the TV in the room. As a reputable hotel, I was disappointed and underwhelmed by their facilities. The room telephone didn't work. I called the reception on my mobile to report and ask for the cooler system. I would have thought that a well established hotel would have thier own AC engineers to fix the AC quickly knowing the several times London experienced a heat wave. My stay was not value for money.

We picked this hotel because it said it has AC but that wasnt working at all when we arrived. We suffered all night and our room didnt even had any windows that we could open for ventilation. Pretty much no sleep to be energised to do anything the next day.

This hotel is TERRIBLE, it felt like i was staying in a cheap hostel. No porters, AC’s don’t work, extremely slow service (I think the staff know everything is poor and just cannot be bothered), intercom phones don’t work so you have to go down to reception every-time you have a problem (which is every time, because nothing works). Bathrooms smell like sewage, drains in my bathroom did not work so everywhere got flooded, had to put clothes back on to go down to reception to request a room change, then they told me to wait for them in my room, no one showed up, I went back down and aparenltly they forgot! So I insisted they give me keys to a new room and changed rooms by myself. Mind you earlier that day I witnessed 2 other guests request room changes. Oh, I also had to go down to get a fan for yourself when I couldn't bear the heat in the room and found out they forgot my request for a fan 3 hours earlier. My whole experience felt like I was being pranked or something, it was that unbelievable Not worth the price at all it’s actually with how poor the service is. I wish i stayed elsewhere. Only thing good is the location. But there are better hotels in the area, don’t risk it!

Lack of helpfulness ('computer says no' attitude) of the staff on reception. We had lots of stuff for an event and asked the day before, the morning of, and when we actually arrived, whether it would be possible to check in earlier (say around 1pm and we were happy to pay for that) if a room was available, understanding that there may not be. We were told absolutely not, as there were no rooms available and that there would not be until 3pm. When the concierge saw all the stuff we had in the lobby, he was incredibly helpful in sorting us out rooms and helping us to load things up from the car/onto the trolleys. Rooms were in fact available so the reception staff were being obstructive! Such a shame as this is in fact a lovely hotel. The concierge was amazing!! Super lovely! The reception staff were not customer experience focused.

1st Aug 26 We had one of the worse experiences. The smell from the bathroom was pure sewage. Upon talking to the staff not even 30 minutes after we had arrived, they proceeded to tell me there's no room available and to bear with it as they could change us to a different room tomorrow. We talked to a few guest and one explained they had an upgrade the day we arrived and another said they were given another room due to smell. They said they would have someone come and look and a gentleman arrived who just sprayed the drain and put a tablet down the toilet. So we waited bare in mind that my sister is pregnant and its dangerous for her to breathe in sewage as it can be toxic and can cause nausea and headaches. We had to go buy disinfectant and air freshener to be able to stomach it and place the fan which already in a warm room towards the bathroom to keep the smell away.  The next day same the smell was the same very bad and they couldn't change rooms so they sent somebody to come and clean again. But unfortunately, when cleaning she proceeded to spray and wipe the toilet and bowl with the same cloth and then turned as it over and wiped the flush on the wall and taps. It was disgusting. We could barely touch anything and had to use the old cardboard toilet roll holder and my toothbrush container to touch anything. The beds were comfortable to sleep in but the box bed was stained. I did write an email to the manager and requested a partial refund.But no reply considering for 2 nights it's was £280. So I wouldn't recommend.
