The location was super, quiet yet next to the beach & close to all the shops and public transport. The room was fresh & clean with an ensuite shower & toilet. The staff were very polite and helpful. I loved it!

My room was right on rhe top floor & there wasn"t a lift. I didn't mind but that would have been difficult for some people. Having said that the room was spotless & there was plenty of wardrobe space & tea/coffee facilities.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr Zentral. Der Stand sowie das Stadtzentrum sind innerhalb von 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Top floor - no lift and narrow stairwell so with a heavy suitcase it wasn't easy. However, staff very accommodating and helped out.

Het was zeer prijzig. We kregen alleen de eerste dag een flesje water, terwijl het kraanwater erg naar chloor smaakte.

Location. Great bed, really great shower. The host was very kind and helpful throughout my stay.

The room was very comfortable and was immaculately clean, the lovely staff on the front desk couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodating.

Das Zimmer lag im 3. Stockwerk und daher war es schön ruhig. Es ist sehr sauber gewesen. Das Bad tip-top. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Lage absolut perfekt. Strand in zwei Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Supermarkt, Pubs, kleine Lokale....alles um die Ecke. Habe mich sehr sicher und wohl gefühlt und hoffe, ich kann wieder kommen.

Gute Lage in Strandnähe. Das Doppelzimmer, in das ich wechseln durfte, war prima. Bequeme Betten!

Die Zimmer waren extrem warm. Da halfen auch sie Ventilatoren wenig. Die Einzelzimmer gehen gar nicht, liegen unter dem Dach, meins hatte außer einem halben Tisch und einem halben Schrank weder Ablageflächen, noch eine Stange für die Handtücher, der kleine Ventilator pfiff aus dem letzten Loch und war unglaublich laut. Zum Glück bekam ich dann doch noch ein kleines Doppelzimmer, das war eine ganz andere Welt. Ablagen, Tisch, Stange, vernünftiger Ventilator. Das war wirklich gut. Alleinreisende: entweder woanders buchen oder ein Doppelzimmer nehmen, wenn Sie Wert auf Komfort legen.

Geen airco, wel een ventilator. Het bed was voor ons wel erg smal. In Nederland zijn zelfs de smalste bedden een stuk breder.

Great location. Within reach of station. This was good because I don't have a car. Being greeted by the host was nice. He was so helpful.Good breakfast well worth the money. My room was small but very clean and all I needed for my 3 nights stay.

Rooms could do with a mini fridge for customers use.

Room is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, bedding is nice, pillow good. Water pressure at the shower is excellent and both hot or really cold water are available. Stayed on the second floor and overall it was quiet and peaceful. It is next to the beach, 20 minutes walk to the train station and to North Laine, plenty of restaurants close by. It is a traditional Brighton guest house, we choose this over a chain hotel.

Room was smaller than the picture makes you beleive. Granted at the time of stay a heatwave was going on, but the room was very very hot, even when the night would have given some relief the building and room was radiating the heat, the cheap fan although made some difference, it could not beat the heat. The nights were not nice and the fan had to be run through the night. For the price (acknowledged Brighton premium, but still) I really would wanted to have a comfortable night. (Ie maybe it's time to invest into air conditioning). Mornings are downright unbearable as soon as the sun is up. Not many other guests at the time of our stay, but the walls are made of paper and everything can be heard from all floors... The bathroom apart from the excellent shower water pressure and temperature was very small. The shower cubicle literally allows you to stand straight, but washing your feet will be a challenge, especially if you are the larger sized.

I did not have breakfast on this visit.

I just love Brighton. They put me in a tiny room on the top floor and helped carry up the bags. Retro British experience except the shower worked really well. You have to love seagulls more than sleeping.

Breakfast wasn't until 8:30 so I could only have it one day.

La habitación y el baño estaba muy limpio con limpieza diaria. Además la estancia fue en un ambiente muy tranquilo.

Fue uno de los dias más caloroso de la historia de Inglaterra. El personal me dio un ventilador pero la habitación se calentaba mucho durante el dia. Hay que reconocer que la mayoria de los otros hoteles tenian el mismo problema en Brighton.

Location close to the beach was great. Easy to get to from both Brighton station and Hove station.

A bit expensive for what you get. The windows did not open so it got very hot in the room. We did have a fan but would have been nice to have been able to open the window for some fresh air and sea breeze.

Everything - Eric and Martha were very cheerful, helpful and welcoming but not intusive Most places in Brighton have lots of stairs which doesn't suit everybody but Eric volunteered to carry my suitcase up to my room which was very kind and much appreciated after a long journey. The whole premises was calm and spotlessly clean, comfy bed and fantastic shower. I needed to keep in touch with my partner abroad and the wi-fi was strong and reliable. It's close to Brighton Beach and any other shops or transport you might need. And to top it all off they went out of their way to let me check in early and as I was leaving I was let down by someonelse and Eric volunteered to keep my suitcase safely locked up until later that day. Impecable service!!

Location was good

Unfortunately, this property are not responding to my emails complaining about my recent stay. The single bed room was much smaller than advertised, and the bed was pushed tightly against the window and radiator, which was permanently stuck on a high heat despite there being a heatwave. Along with light curtains, this meant it was impossible to sleep well or feel comfortable in the room and led me to spending most time outside of the property. There was nobody at reception to talk to when I tried about this, and additionally the cleaners turned off my room fan each morning, meaning the room once again was an unbearable temperature by evening with the radiator on. I've also stayed in properties of a similar price in Brighton or cheaper which were of much better quality. I did not want to leave this feedback and hoped to negotiate an apology and some possible compensation instead, however my stay was a month ago and they have ignored 5 emails.

Die Lage ist top, nur 150 Meter bis zur Westpier und dem Strand, weitere 150 Meter zur belebten Einkaufsstraße mit sehr guter Busanbindung, Check-In war gut und zeitig, das Personal wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend

The guest house was in a great location, close to the beach and the staff were really friendly. The room itself was nice and quiet and the bed was comfy (although pillows were hard).

Basic room that had everything that you needed , it was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Arrived quite early but the room was available and we were able to check in before 3pm which was very much appreciated. Perfect location with a 2minute walk to the beach ,overall a fab little find for a one night stay

It was my second stay here and I would book it again. Location is wonderful, staff is very nice, it was clean and quiet, comfortable bed…

The hotel is secure and well placed for the shops and the promenade. The staff are friendly and accommodating with requests. I needed a softer pillow and I got one. The room is cleaned daily. Other guests similar age and not hen stag parties so nice and peaceful. Breakfast is lovely.

The location is great, staff is welcoming as well.

J'ai été surclassé dans une chambre plus grande. Celle-ci était spacieuse et confortable. Il y faisait très calme. Le personnel que j'ai croisé lors de mon arrivée était super gentil et disponible. L'hôtel est bien situé pas très loin du centre, et à proximité de la mer.

Il faisait un peu chaud dans la chambre, je ne parvenais pas à régler le radiateur. Et les fenêtres pas évidente à ouvrir.

The room was a good size, well furnished and very comfortable with good storage space. It was spotlessly clean with excellent heating during the cold Easter weather. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The situation near West Pier is excellent for city tourism without using a car.

We ran out of the initial toiletries and on an 8 day stay we’d have appreciated a replenishment. To be fair we didn’t actually ask for more.

Location was nice and quiet and the room was serviced daily.

Only a couple of minor points but could have done with a couple of more hangers in the wardrobe as only 3 were provided and a couple of drawers would have been good. Some people may think the location was little too far out from the town centre.

The location, close to everything and 2 minutes walk to the sea and yet very quiet. It was very clean and warm.

The pillow too thick and hard. I asked for smaller one but I was told that they had only 1 kind of pillow. I didn’t sleep very well because of that. The hot water in the shower was very warm but not hot. It was fine for me but not enough hot for my partner. Room small, bathroom very small but it wasn’t a problem for me. Bed small for a couple. We had the double room.
