The room is OK. But I got a Superior room while the reservation said he had reserved the Executive room. They charged accordingly. I expect a certain level of honesty in their reservation and front office staff. The lift stinks of a stale smell. Food is good overall. Since it is located right on the Salem to Bangalore Highway, it is convenient, but the insulation needs to be improved so that the traffic noise is minimised.

I booked the Premium Room and my first impression was positive. The room was spacious, good-looking, and had a great view, which I really enjoyed. Some of the furnishings and interiors felt slightly old, but that was understandable and didn’t affect the overall comfort much. However, I’m not sure if the rooms are properly checked before guest check-in. As soon as I entered, the flush wasn’t working and a technician had to spend around 15 minutes fixing it after I had already checked in. My luggage also took about 20 minutes to arrive and only came after I called twice. Basic amenities like an iron box were not readily available, and I was told I would need to wait 40–50 minutes. Other amenities like water and essentials were delivered on time. But during peak periods like wedding season, the hotel seems to struggle to scale services when many guests need additional amenities. Overall, the room size, view, and comfort were good, but the service responsiveness did not fully match the premium room experience.

I have just step in to olive bar of this hotel. Very cozy place. Recommended for chill session. Love their side dish given as complimentary. The chicken was awesome.

Located on prime area in salem. Easy access to train station, bus stand etc. Dining experience is ok but could be better.

Stay is very comfortable Had a great experience staying in this amazing property. Located in the Bengaluru Salem Highway, East to reach n travel. Facilities were amazing and hospitality too. Especially staffs Pavithra were friendly and ready to help the guests.

Reasonably goid

The rooms were nice and spacious. Check-in took some time(there was a function and reception area and parking was crowded). There was a small issue at the checkin time which they sorted out quickly. Since we reached late in the night and left early in the morning, we didn't try any facilities (restaurants, pool or gym). Wifi worked as expected. Price was reasonable. Seems to be a nice place to stay in Salem.

There was water leakage from AC in the room which woke me and my wife around 3.30 AM. Our night’s rest was disturbed.

First of all, property is near Bengaluru highway so easy for traveler to get and get out. Also it seems it has seen good days but in reality they are in past and now this is just a old jaded property with staff to match. Everything about the rooms says they need a upgrade as you can see from the pics. WiFi was not stable, Worst housekeeping I saw in recent times who doesn't even check the bathroom supplies or the appliances are working or not. Little flush button doesn't work, shower water mixer doesn't work, the shampoo dispenser was empty and not working either. Hotel check in is 12 pm but even at 4:15 pm I was made to wait to get my room. Definitely not the VFM or the ratings it deserved. Only positive thing is the breakfast buffet was small but decent taste.

We stayed here for 12 days, visiting the family. This is the first time we have used this hotel, stayed in the Radisson and Sivaraj Inn before. This place is very conveniently located off the highway. We stayed in the executive room, the first room we were shown wasn't satisfactory; there was only a frosted glass partition between the bedroom and the shower room, there was no privacy, we asked for a different room at the time of check-in and the staff were very helpful and showed us a few rooms before we settled into a new one. Very spacious, comfortable and a very effective A/C! The shower head was dirty and the drain was draining slowly and as soon as this was pointed out, the matter was dealt with quickly and effectively! For me, the highlight was the breakfast buffet; this was managed very well every day and full credit to Sivagami, the supervisor there who ran the operation very efficiently and always with a smile on her face! Full credit!! We also had a small get together with family and friends and used the 'One and Above' meeting room which was great for a gathering of 15 people and the catering staff, led by Sivagami, made this a great and memorable experience for us, thank you! The front desk can be quite busy at times but the staff were friendly and helpful, a special mention to Hemalatha, very efficient and pleasant and always had a smile on her face! A couple of negative points: unfortunately, there is some building works going on at the moment, lot of drilling noise during the day, couldn't sleep if you are looking for a nap! In the breakfast buffet, some Indian sweet items like gulab jamun or kesari could be offered along with the cakes. Overall, a very satisfactory and pleasant stay for the first time here, we will definitely stay here again during future visits (provided the renovation works are completed by then!!!)

The service and stay was awesome ..with small 2 kids also we managed it well as staffs were very good 😊 I always look for best one when with kids and this was worth the money and stay

Room was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. Our room was road facing, some noise was seeping through. Some restoration was going on, that noise added on. The highlight was the breakfast. The menu was good. Staff Raja and sivakami served us well. Great team .

Property is good in terms of service + Location+ value for money. The drawback is the check inn desk. Where unnecessary things r been asked like adhar card of all members and so on that too after a tired travel journey which seems to hell a lot of waiting when compared to other hotels. Infact they were searching for Expedia booking I'd even after online payment confirmation was available with them.

I have stayed here 4 times in the last 2-3 months. But I feel I accepted mediocre service / response! Generally , the booking is done through our corporate makemytrip account - pricing is good. However, the frontdesk insisted that I could book directly and get good offers - Actually not when I tried this time, price was 30% higher and they never bothered to confirm booking. I reported this to a staff/manager there , no response!!! The rooms are good and clean BUT this time there was water stagnation in the bathroom. I reported this when I got a random call from the service staff checking on the service level , etc. but nothing happened post that!!! MacBook doesn’t connect to their WiFi and they don’t have a fix for this though the IT staff tried his best, on top it the mobile coverage inside is weak. So work gets hampered!!! On all this , when I dont get responses from a staff / manager for a detailed msg sent , I can understand their level of focus on customer service . I wouldn’t recommend this place 👆🏻for these reasons. But I found a few staff and food to be good.

Located conveniently on the Bangalore highway, Grand Estancia Salem is an excellent choice of Hotel at Salem. The rooms are very well outfitted and maintained very well. The reception is very well managed and the staff are attentive and accommodating to special requests, with a smile. The restaurants are very good and have interesting dishes that are all worth exploring.Hygiene and quality standards are very high. Special thanks to Ms. Hema for making our stay comfortable - arranging for all our special requests with a smile! The room upgrade was a pleasant and welcome surprise. 
The default choice for Salem - has to be Grand Estancia! Enjoyable and comfortable stay.

We had a pleasant stay at Estancia overall. However, upon check-in, we encountered a concern with the extra mattresses provided. We immediately informed the front office team, and although the issue was addressed and changes were made, we still faced a few minor inconveniences. At the time of check-out, we shared our concerns with Ms. Hema, who then escalated the matter to the Manager. We truly appreciated the way the Manager handled the situation—his explanation and the professional, understanding manner in which he spoke made us feel heard and valued. That conversation left us feeling very satisfied, and we’re grateful for the attention given to our feedback. The property itself is excellent—well-maintained and welcoming. The food was also very good, though with a few small improvements, it could be top-notch. Overall, we had a positive experience and look forward to returning soon!

A Heartfelt Thanks to the Front Office Team! This was my second visit — the first was just a month ago, and I’m genuinely amazed at the wonderful changes since then. Right from the warm welcome, offering of the mala, and the smiling faces, the positive energy was evident from the beginning. The rooms were excellent, and I had a lovely time with my family. The food was delicious as well — a perfect experience all around. Kudos to the Front Office Team and the entire management! A special thanks to Pavithra, Vignesh, and Hema for making our stay so memorable with their hospitality and professionalism. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

We stayed one day in grand estancia with family. Stay is very comfortable. Nice location. Rooms are clean and spacious. Senthil is super helpful. We are happy with the service. Swimming pool is over crowded. We stayed while going to bangalore from palakkad.

The property is getting old and we can see wear and tear in the rest rooms. Hope they fix it soon. And the internet is very spotty. Wish the internet connection is better.

Well maintained rooms and courteous staff. The entire stay was made memorable with cleanly stacked personal kit and pleasant aroma inside the entire hotel. Truly suggest for anyone visiting Salem. Their Hotel reception/ lobby and the restaurant were awfully crowded by the time we arrived by around 11 AM (A Corporate event to blame!!) and that gave an hour to visit their bar which was decent and pretty silent around the Noon. Service was good and the sides served made the extra amount worthy! Our room had a great view of the Salem City flyover with the mighty Shevroy hills behind giving a great landscape! The upkeep of the Rooms and Linen were good. The Swimming pool was a 4 feeter throught out and had a small children pool area as well and was maintained clean. No lockers or change rooms as there was maintenance work going on! Breakfast Buffet was a let off as it was a pretty standard menu with only eggs as the Non Veg offering! But, their Kambu koozh (Pearl Millet Porridge) and Neer More (Butter-milk/ Lightened Yoghurt) were a welcoming change!! The service by Mrs. Sivagami & Team was warm and welcoming 🙂👍🏼 I did notice considerable damages in a few walls, ceiling, etc while getting down the staircase which could have been maintained better. Overall, a decent stay in a good location connecting the National Highways.

Comfortable and pleasant stay. Staff were courteous. Neat and clean rooms. Ample parking with wallet service. Couple of restaurants and a bar. Dine-in and room service were good. Had morning complimentary breakfast which was very good. A very decent spread of food items, especially cakes, muffins and donuts were commendable. I would appreciate every staff for their service. I was able to watch specifically Sivagami a waitress who was taking care of every customers need. Overall a good stay. Thanks all.

The room was sooo comfortable and clean.The management was great and the people were down to earth . The amenities were also good . The food was out of the world . And the bed and pillows were very cushiony. The establishment was easy to locate .

The ambience is good and the food is great. I visit the place frequently. My stay last year was also good and till now they maintain the standard. I would recommend anyone visiting Salem to choose estancia for a peaceful and good stay. The staff were courteous and helpful.

A good stay in the hotel, the checkin was smooth and felt professional. A welcome juice and a garland to our surprise ( good gesture) Clean and friendly staff. We stayed for one night, just off the motorway and easy to spot. Proximity to the City and also felt safe inside the premises. Good beakfast and had a lot of choices for the ethic and the western palletes.

Clean, prompt check-in, room service could be better

Rooms were ok but not up to par for the money. Room service horrible. Ordered coffee, but received two cups and no coffee. They had to go back and get it. The second day , ordered two coffees and receive two teas after half hour. By the time we tried to decide if it was tea or coffee that was served, we were fed up and just drank it. When told at checkout, the front desk said since we drank it, they can’t do anything about it. Irresponsible front desk and poor service.

Friendly Staffs, Breakfast was busy, We couldn't get a table and Restaurant Staff cannot provide a table or help us with water and food from the Kitchen as they were overwhelmed. The Bathroom Curtains were really dirty and We had to ask for Bath Rug and Face Towels. Water was flowing in the basement, i had to wade through it for parking. Moved to Radisson for the next 3 days of my stay.

Worn out hotel with Bad Service Staff didn't seem to care much at all (and incompetent too). Everything was so slow, food orders/ other requests were mixed up whether be it at front desk or in-room service or at restaurant. Both Rooms we booked didn't have towels, had to contact front desk 4 times and finally someone at room service sent out towels when we tried different number. Bathrooms were dirty, wanted to take photos. Definitely would not stay here considering other hotels in salem.

The property started experiencing wear and tear. I guess, in the beginning it would have been a great hotel. After 8 years, i see that it is hit with wear and tear at all the places. They need to start renovating soon. Being the business hotel, internet access is excellent -

Although the room was comfortable some of the electrical units did not work.

The hotel was great value for money though they were doing some slight renovations, they didn't affect my stay whatsoever. The restaurant was nice if a little pricey for the breakfast buffet. The room was faultless one of the most comfortable well laid out hotel rooms I've stayed in and a reasonably priced minibar. The bar in the basement was also very good though the music being played wasn't to my taste! I would highly recommend and I'd happily stay again.

A good hotel with excellent service. Good location if you are traveling on the highway towards Bangalore / Coimbatore. Few niceties added to this hotel will make it to a 4.5 or true 5* .

Very comfy rooms. Excellent south Indian and continental complimentry breakfast. Nice bar with complimentary food.

We stayed in May-2015 with my family. The staff were pleasant and friendly. I had the wrong booking but they were courteous to correct that. The food was good, but could not handle the breakfast rush. Overall, it was a good experience.
