Beautiful, well kept property. Very quiet and calm. Very clean.
Expensive. Would like to have a sink where the coffee maker is and also eating utensils.
I loved the theme of the place. It was just amazing and magical. Totaly recommend it!
There was no forks/knifes or plates in the room which was strange because there was a full set of glasses.
Everything! Firepits by the creek!
Not even one thing to complain about

A wonderful place to stay, just wished we could of had more than 2 nights. The fireplaces by the creek were amazing, a very relaxing place to stay. Would highly recommend.
This property was in a convent location. It wasn’t in town but wasn’t too far out either. Quiet, clean. Friendly staff.
It was raining a lot during our trip and the pathways to the cabins were red clay. They were very muddy. You could drive your car to your cabin for 5 mins to unload but then had to go park at the front of the property. The cabins were cute but the bathroom was ridiculously small with no place to put things. I think this place was overpriced. I would look for other options if I returned.
Check in was really easy. Our cabin was cozy and the bathroom was great. It was very clean as well. The location was perfect. We could get to the lakes and to Banff very easily and didn't have to deal with the crowds/shuttles of the hotels in the park proper.
Overall it was a little cramped and not very well outfitted. Specifically, there was no coffee maker in the kitchen. While you can get coffee in the cafe, if it is pouring rain, you might not want to go out to get it. The bedrooms were very small. We each had one average size suitcase. We couldn't fit the suitcases into the bedroom and there was no where to put them in the living area. The seating in the living area was also not ideal, The couch was on the older side and there was nowhere for people to sit and have a conversation. If there were more than 2 people in there it would be very cramped. The room had a bunch of flies and no fly swatter.
Location, the rivers beside it and behind the property, train tracks, mountains views.
WiFi wasn’t that good in the back where I stayed but other than that it was beautiful there.
Cabin furniture and bed were very comfortable and the fireplace was excellent
A charming wood log cabin in a tranquil ambiance right next the creek, what’s more to ask for a perfect vacation!
It was a bit disappointing that none of the fire pits could be used due to fire control in the area
The cabin was amazing! comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. The river and the mountains were spectacular. We loved the sauna and the gym. We could use the bbq outside. great experience!
It was getting too warm on the top floor for the kids to sleep from the fireplace.
Quiet, peaceful, scenic and close to Lake Louise. Kitchen was well equipped.
Linens, rugs and furniture were stained and/or soiled. Internet was slow. “cafe” had minimal food.
The whole ambience is so pretty and picturesque. We enjoyed the moonrise and reflection of the moonlight on the flowing water. The confluence of Baker Creek and Bow River is just awesome.
The WiFi is pretty poor. Probably they are using StarLink or something like that. But we were okay with that, staying out of network was something preferable after a busy summer.
The room was so cute! Very clean and comfortable
Limited food options and no plates or utensils in the room
Cabins are cosy. Loved the fire on the cooler evenings

Serene place, very nice creek and chairs in the back yard, calm and clean everywhere.
The WiFi was horrible and not functional inside the rooms, I had to go to the gym to have a normal internet.
Private, cute cabin where we could park our camper van was great! Husband liked the gym, sauna and steam room. I liked all the chairs/fire pits on the creek.
We thought we were getting a kitchen but it was just a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Would rather have this than an in-room jacuzzi. Also, there isn't really a 'cafe' just a grab and go basically.

The location is very good. The room is very big and clean.
No breakfast at the moment. And there are not so many places in general in lake louise for coffee, so it is a bit challenging
Loved Baker creek. Such a special place by the river. Will definitely be back.
Themlication was fantastic , very serene and peaceful . The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were very welcoming as well
Rapporto qualità - prezzo non all’altezza.
Location is great. Staff helpful.
A beautiful property that gives you the cabin in the woods feel with extra facilities. The gym and sauna/steam room was brilliant and our room was so cozy with a jacuzzi bathtub. The staff were so helpful and when I noticed that a bulb had gone out in our room it was replaced within 10 minutes. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it.
This was a wonderful place right by the river. My child and I had a little adventure walking along fallen trees over the river and jumping from rock to rock. It was such a fun and memorable experience for us. Next time, I would definitely like to stay for a few nights so we can spend more time exploring and fully enjoy this beautiful place.

L’emplacement
It’s location, cosy ness and the fire pits by the stream.
Nice cabins, friendly staff
Expensive room relative to quality of the facilities, amenities and service
Great cabins by the river. Perfect for families or couples.
The location was perfect for bear spotting!! The cabins were quaint and well kept. The staff really friendly and helpful. It was a super experience thank you
Location phenomenal. Cabin was by a stunning river on the beautiful bow valley parkway. Place seemed a little understaffed but the young lady on reception was very helpful as was a young man out in the grounds. The mosquitos are merciless so you need repellant in July.
More savoury food alternatives in the shop? Perhaps soup and fresh bread and pastries.
My family and I (5 of us) loved our 2 nights at Baker Creek by Basecamp, so much that we tried to extend our stay for another 2 nights! The 2 bedroom cabin was gorgeous and very tastefully furnished with a lovely modern bathroom and cosy fireplace. We used the complementary bbq's which were great. The large gym facilities were excellent. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful and it was lovely sitting by the creek. A perfect base for Lake Louise/ Moraine Lake away from the crowds. Would definitely recommend!
A real authentic experience, the room was amazing
None
Great location to explore Lake Louise, Lake Moraine and the Ice Fields Parkway. It’s great to come back to a peaceful, quiet place after being in the crowds. Sitting by the stream with a beer at the end of a long day of hiking was the best.
The river was just amazing. The location also was so great for a family that didn’t want to be near the crowds. I loved that laundry was free and well organized. The gym was awesome- I like that the rules encouraged quiet time from 10pm to 7am. I liked that they had some food options- as well as gave our coffee. The staff were really friendly and accommodating.
I wish that there was a bit more food options- and if I travel here again in one of the rooms (törathwr than a cabin) I would ask for an upper room- but honestly I’d probably just book early enough to get a cabin.
Nada
We love the location of Baker Creek.
It’s just as we expected.
Loved the location, including the properties proximity to the river.
The kitchen area could have used at least one set of utensils and knife and one set of dishes, simply a plate and a bowl since they offer limited food in order to allow us to make pack lunches more easily.
Conveniently located within Banff National Park, away from the worst of the crowds. Check in staff were extremely friendly and helpful as we planned our brief stay.
Quite noisy (between the rooms, but also from train and road)
Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Lenora was fantastic- proactive with a good hospitality sense. Expensive but these are the prices in the area. We are a family of 5 and the 2 bedroom suite was very comfortable. We’ll definitely come back!
WiFi is problematic (keeps kicking you out). We actually had a conversation about it with Lenora - my spouse has a phd is the field so he gave her some advice, let’s see if it helps :)
So many amenities to make your enhance your time at the location. Fire Pits with included wood and matches, outdoor blankets if you needed them, the coffee with a Chemex pour over in the room were all thoughtful touches that we used. The grills and utensils would have been awesome if we were looking to use them. Also the Rocky Mountain Soaps and lotions were a fantastic add.
Be prepared to drive to Lake Louise or Banff if you do not have food as the cafe options are limited. Not a problem just a reality you need to be ready for.
Everything. The room was cozy and welcoming and laid out well. The property was so pretty and calming
Nothing!
Cabins were cute, site was lovely, location right in the National Park is good. It was on theme and a nice experience. We saw black bears roadside near the cabins including a mama and 2 babies.
The bed was awful! Springs were all broken and it sagged in the middle, worse nights sleep for the 3 nights we were there. Trains pass through very loudly all night, theres no aircon in the rooms so need to leave the windows open, trains will wake you up. The onsite bistro burnt down a few years ago and they only have very basic shop on site selling coffee and sandwiches. You are far from decent restaurants and shops, Lake Louise has basics but anything more you need to travel 40min to Banff. The place is a bit run down. I know you are paying for the location but for $1500 PER NIGHT! we would have expected a decent mattress.
The location is nice
Wasn’t worth the price. Cabin also quite small. Also I had booked an extra night which I needed to cancel. Booking.com stated that there was a free cancellation, but when o cancelled the extra night I was charged as apparently the property has some charges when cancelling that booking.com did not know about.
Everything. Absolutely amazing.
Chalet très sympathique avec vraie cheminée.
RAS
Needs a little updating in the cabins. Little things; add a coffee maker, add a double bunk in loft.
The property was full of mosquitoes, including inside the cabin. When we asked the front desk for help or to have the cabin treated, we were simply told to buy insect repellent. When we explained that it was impossible to stay or sleep in those conditions, we were told, "That's just how it is in this nature reserve." The cabin was also not clean. The shower, sink, and jacuzzi were dirty, and although the balcony overlooks the forest, it was unusable because of the mosquitoes. The bed was uncomfortable as well. The front desk closes at 9:30 PM, so there is no assistance available afterward. We were given firewood and matches, but the campfire area is on the opposite side of the property, with only a handful of fire pits for all guests. Our stay was so unpleasant that we spent the evening in Banff and returned to the cabin only late at night to sleep for a few hours before leaving as early as possible the next morning. Considering the very high price we paid, we expected a much better experience. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing accommodations we have stayed in, and we would not recommend it.
Beautiful cabins along the river. We stayed in #3 and had a view of the river. Enjoyed the fire pit outside and appreciated the drinks and snacks you could buy in the office. We only stayed 2 nights but looks like there were lots of amenities we would have used for a longer stay.
Only 1 washer and 1 dryer. Would be nice to have 2 sets to reduce waiting between guests.
The location is perfect for traveling to Lake Louise and further into the attractions just into BC. It’s quaint and has great seating along the river.

The cabins are well situated in a beautiful, secluded area by Baker Creek. It has great eating, seating areas for families by the water and BBQ facilities. The grounds are well maintained and there is a gym and laundry room. The staff were wonderful, but on the few occasions we used Reception, it seemed as though they could have used another pair of hands. Basic food items were sold in Reception and we were given complimentary coffee which was lovely. It also sold the Rocky brand of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion and to our delight we found that our room was stocked with this high quality brand.
We stayed in a cabin style apartment instead of a cabin. It was well designed to give a cabin /lodge experience and the jacuzzi bath was a nice added touch, but it was missing a few basics. It had a microwave and kettle but no plates or cutlery. To ask reception for these items, as suggested in other reviews, would only be stretching an understaffed department further. A simpler solution is to just stock rooms with the items in the first place. The room was very dark and i struggled to read with just table lamps in the bedroom. The carpet needed replacing in the kitchen area and the two open, big plastic bins on the floor, whilst functional, needed replacing with something more aesthetically pleasing. The Bistro is still advertised but this actually burnt down a few years ago. I heard other guests asking about it. An independent company provides microwave food and drink in Reception, but this again was run by reception staff, keen to accommodate guests, when it was shut, stretching them further. Although I have offered a few suggestions here, we would certainly book again as overall we had a lovely experience at Baker Creek. A big shout out to the guys in Reception who are doing a fantastic job.
Great spot! Loved the fire by the river.
The local wildlife didn’t play their part 😁
Everything. This place was our favourite out of the all 12 places we stayed in Canada. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect! The staff were so so friendly and helpful and the room was simply outstanding. We wish we had of stayed here longer than we did!
Location by the creek
Localisation de l’hotel
The location was perfect for our day trips to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake and lots of other hiking we did. The kitchen was super equipped with all the utensils and pots and pans needed for preparing meals. The fresh ground coffee was an added treat!
The refrigerator was a bit small for our needs. I would recommend a bit larger one.
The most beautiful log cabins, by the river. The chairs and fire pits were awesome, the rooms were well equipped. Reception provided us with skewers and marshmallows. Seriously it was amazingly good. I don't think there's much around, we were only there for 1 night but I could not recommend it enough. We brought food to have a bbq for dinner, but the whole experience was amazing! thank you
Small bathroom? - but I'm really nit picking. It really is perfect.
Wonderful, enchanted place Everything to highest standard And very helpful staff
We LOVED this small resort!! The amenities are fantastic. The riverside fire pits, sauna and gym, small store, barbecues, etc. made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The setting is absolutely beautiful, too. It is a short 10-15 minute drive to the community of Lake Louise. In addition, the lodge room was beautiful. My wife and I loved it!
The rustic nature
The bath leaked water onto the floor and we couldn’t use it
Pretty location.
It could have been cleaner. Under the bed very grim.
Location, staff, cute cabin
Too expensive. It was nice but not worth the price
This was like staying at a 4 star hotel, but as a cabin. All of the needed kitchen items were there to prepare simple meals. The place was clean and functional. Was great that there was no TV (yet internet still worked.). Friendly staff and beautiful location, with firepits by the creek.
Would have been nice to have an onsite restaurant.
Feeling close to outdoors with all the amenities of a quality home rental.
It was all great
Spotlessly clean, great location.
We loved the real Canadian feel of the cabin. Everything was perfect. The beds were so comfortable, and it had everything we needed in it. We loved sitting outside on the deck eating our breakfast and sitting around the firepits in the evening. Amazing stay.
Nothing, we couldn't fault it!
Jacuzzi motor failed within3 seconds.
We loved everything about this place. We wish we were able to stay longer. Great place for families.
Nothing
The location on the Creek was amazing. The firepits would have been perfect if we had more time. The lodge decor was lovely. The bed was comfortable and linens were nice. I really liked the Shampoo, Conitioners and lotions provided. That was a perfect touch.
The shower was not cleaned well on the outside. There was hair on the ridge and grunge around the outside. The coffee also did not meet our standards.
The Room and Location where excellent, I stayed in one of the Cabins as well as the Hot tub Suite. The Cabin has a kitchenette and it work well for dinner.
The Restaurant was more of a Snack counter, but did provide Sandwiches and Meat and Cheese to buy. The Staff was very helpful in providing information on Restaurant in the area.
Lovely property. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings
No cooking facilities and limited food choices
Location - out in the wilderness yet close to lake Louise
Rooms were slightly small and the ladder to go to the loft might be risky at night with sleepy eyes

Stunning surroundings, very cute and clean cabin, fire pits available for making smores, and very friendly staff.
