Absolutely beautiful hotel with wonderful views of the Amalfi coast. Ravello is beautiful, easily walkable, friendly and offers outstanding food and wine. Shopping is world class and local artisans make available the most beautiful art pottery, bowls, dishes and so much more.

Kamer is ietwat verouderd, maar daarom niet minder comfortabel. De eigenaars zijn de kamers wel aan het renoveren. Niet de moeite waard om dit te vermelden.

Everything about this property is wonderful, views, location and best of all the fantastic Italian family who run it. You feel like you are immersed in Italy within a stones throw from the centre of Ravello which is simply stunning

This family run hotel feels just that! They welcome you with a warm welcome and the front desk is very helpful with any questions you may have. Some may argue the hotel needs an upgrade, but I loved its old school authentic look and feel. Our view was spectacular. Location was good, but in Italy just be prepared to walk- period! The breakfast has your basics. And my most favorite part of the area, the kitty cats <3 Ravello has cats everywhere. I really enjoyed sitting outside the hotel with them. IT was such a nice quiet relaxing stay.

Absolutely fantastic, rooms are very clean, with amazing views from all points. Food in the restaurant is delicious. Family owned and they are all so helpful and welcoming.

Forty years ago this place must have been a really cosy, stylish little hotel, beautifully located. Now it needs definitely a thorough renovation. The room was of an unspeakable ugliness, with horrible cracked tiles, cheap furniture and useless lamps, worn out sheets and bed cover. I can't imagine how it gets in the category of a 4-star-hotel...

Avevamo prenotato una standard ma la struttura ci ha sistemato gentilmente in una camera con terrazzo vista mare perché non era prenotata. È stata una bellissima sorpresa perché la vista è pazzesca. Abbiamo cenato molto bene nel ristorante dell'hotel ed il pesce era freschissimo. Struttura pulita e personale attento alle esigenze del cliente. Ci tornerò e lo consiglio.

Hôtel au bord de la vieille ville, accroché à la montagne. Bon accueil. Chambre confortable avec une vue magnifique sur la montagne et la mer au fond. Petit déjeuner complet servi en chambre, probablement en raison de la saison basse et de la faible fréquentation.

Incitation à prendre le service de parking à 25€/jour alors qu'il y avait probablement moyen de se stationner à proximité pour 4€/jour !

Staying at Hotel Bonadies felt like discovering a delightful hidden pearl set within the refined and elegant diadem that is Ravello. At Bonadies I felt relaxed and at ease, as though I had never left the comfort of my own home, yet found myself in an exceptional, wonderful and truly unique place in the world: the Amalfi Coast. The owners, Suita and Mara, together with their children and the entire staff, make you feel part of the family. At the same time, the hotel itself is a superb property, rich in marble, flower-filled terraces and views in which one can lose oneself — views I could admire in wonder for hours on end. All of this is enhanced by a fine drink enjoyed by the pool, by ancient and vibrant places such as Villa Rufolo with its concerts, by magical paths winding through lemon groves, by breathtaking beaches to explore and imposing mountains to conquer. It was a truly wonderful holiday.

Il personale molto cordiale, la stanza assegnata aveva un balconcino con una vista panoramica mozzafiato. Pulizia eccellente.

L'arredo datato, la stanza assegnata presentava diverse criticità, le porte finestre non si chiudevano ermeticamente di conseguenza filtrava l'aria, i riscaldamenti spenti, bisogna tenere acceso tutta la notte il climatizzatore non del tutto efficente, arredo vetusto e un po' rovinato, le pareti esterne del balconcino rovinate dalle intemperie, in generale ho trovato poca attenzione nella manutenzione ordinaria. La colazione un po' povera, mi aspettavo un livello superiore.

Family run hotel great view, great location. Feels a bit like travelling in time in the 60s 70s. Everything was simple.

I think the beds could be improved and the breakdast while plentyfull could deserve a bit more attention and servicing. This was maybe because we went there out of peak season.

Purtroppo, visto che eravamo solo noi come ospiti, abbiamo dovuto fare colazione in stanza e non nella sala ristorante dell’hotel

Probably the worst hotel I have stayed at in Italy. The only thing that gets it 4* is the fact it has a pool. Room was tiny, tired and in need of some major upgrading. Not to mention the hidden cost of €25 per day to park your car in their car park, in which the car was damaged by their staff. Very disappointing that they don’t reply to emails. Room was infested with ants. No wifi for majority of our stay.

Ligging, vriendelijke mensen, goed restaurant. Nadat we een opmerking hadden gemaakt over de gehorigheid en overlast van een Poolse bruiloft, keurig opgelost bij het uitchecken.

Super ouderwetse kamers. Kregen een ‘upgrade’ naar een suite. Veel ruimte maar weinig comfort. Hard bed, harde kussens dun laken, geen dekbed. Ontbijt wordt slecht aangevuld en tafels niet afgeruimd. Keuze in brood en beleg is beperkt. Parkeren kost € 25 per nacht.

Fantastisk utsikt. Veldig vennlig personal. Vakkert hotell.

This property is amazing for what you pay for it. Rooms are HUGE. Tons of room for your luggage. Advertised with air conditioning but we had no air conditioning. We opened the window at night only to find that this is located next to the local apartments and kids stay up screaming til 3 am. Breakfast is below average. Views are good from the terrace. Pool is very small. Please note that if you arrange a driver from the airport it is CASH only. 10% surcharge with credit card.

This property in Ravello has sweeping views of the Amalfi coast area with the charm and quaintness of family friendliness. The room was extremely clean, service was fast and the staff was responsive to all of our needs. It is an easy walk to the shopping district of town and close to the bus stop for transportation to Amalfi. Because this is a family owned hotel, the pride in service, quality, and attention to detail was always evident. We felt like part of the family by the time we left.

The hotel facilities are good, and the location is also very convenient, which under different circumstances would deserve a positive review.

Unfortunately, I had an extremely negative experience with one of the staff members. When I asked for a simple recommendation, I was treated with rudeness and lack of courtesy from the very beginning. When I asked for his name to file a complaint, he refused to give it and even escalated to the point of almost starting an argument with me. The manager witnessed the entire situation and did nothing to intervene or resolve the problem. This is very disappointing, especially because the other staff members I interacted with were polite and helpful. My original intention was to give the hotel a good rating and only highlight the behavior of this single employee. However, the impact of this incident was so negative that it affected my overall impression of the stay. I was traveling peacefully in Italy with my wife, staying in eight different hotels, and this was the only one where we were treated with such disrespect. For that reason, I am unfortunately forced to leave a very low rating for the entire hotel.

Parkgebühren sehr hoch, obwohl das Fahrzeug im Freien Stand und total verklebt von irgendwelchem Baumharz zurück an das Hotel gebracht wurde. Sehr ärgerlich!

Our hotel was in a perfect location . The staff were wonderful and upgraded our room with a spectacular view and balcony.

This hotel is an excellent base to experience the Amalfi coast. The rooms are traditional Italian decor with excellent facilities, tea, coffee, fridge, air con etc. the breakfast was outstanding and fresh every morning. The staff are more than helpful, friendly and polite. Walking distance to Ravello square in 5 minutes, and bus and shuttle facilities to Amalfi where a boat trip to Capri & Positano is a must! Nice pool area to sunbathe if that’s your thing and the pool was clean and cool for a quick dip. Thanks for an excellent holiday in Italy 🇮🇹 ❤️

Cute hotel near enough to the centre of beautiful Ravello . Nice pool . All hotels on the Amalfi coast are so pricey !

We were upgraded to a sea view, which was such a nice surprise — the view was absolutely beautiful. The hotel offers a nice breakfast, and we also had dinner there one night — it was very good! The location is super walkable, and we especially loved the fountain right out front where we could refill our water bottles. Reception was very nice and helpful throughout our stay.

The only downside was the pool area — it was quite small and very crowded, so we didn’t end up using it. It also doesn’t get much sun in the afternoon. That said, the sea is just a short walk away, so it wasn’t a big issue!

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The whole stay and experience was just wonderful.

Hotel Bonadies is lovely, comfortable and very gracious. This family owned and managed property is well updated to accommodate current technology. Views of Amalfi coast are spectacular. Location is close to the center of Ravello for easy walking.

Since it was off season the hotel was almost empty. We received a very nice room with nice view. It was raining so we decided to eat in the hotel and eventually the dinner and parking and cocktails became very expensive….

Hotel was beautiful, incredible view, very friendly staff, breakfast had lovely coffee and croissants and fruit, bread, Serrano ham and cheese

Maybe just as it's off season there's not much options for dinner and buses from Ravello to Amalfi are not too often

Great hotel within steps of the main square with friendly staff. My room was quite large with a queen and a twin bed. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. I was there at the end of the season in early November, so it was quiet and lovely.

Two night here whilst walking. We had a superior room with sea view. A really nice hotel with helpful staff and a good feel about the place. We ate there both night and the food was well cooked and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. My impression was that some of the rooms may have been quite small.

A lovely comfortable hotel in a quiet location only a 5 minute walk from the main square. Our room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a nice variety. I would have given 10 out of ten but dropped one point because there were Internet issues for most of our stay. This did eventually get resolved.

This hotel is tucked away in a peaceful corner of Ravello with the most breathtaking views I saw from anywhere on the Amalfi coast. It has lots of opulent, Italian character, a gorgeous roof terrace, and a small but not overcrowded pool area. The staff are professional and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious. I can't express how stunning the location is for Hotel Bonadies, we felt very lucky to stay somewhere like this and hope to go back again one day!

Location, size of rooms

Firstly, Ravello is a beautiful town. Hotel Bonadies is ideally situated at one end. The hotel could do with a few minor upgrades in regards to decor but don’t let that detract from the overall charm of the place. The room was a decent size with excellent aircon, clean and well equipped. The breakfast was a decent buffet style. There are two main reasons why you should stay here. The staff were super helpful, especially Vincenzo who organised surprises for my wife’s birthday. Secondly, the views are amazing. Some of the best in Ravello.
