Waiting for my breakfast order took far too long. Pressure from walk in customers delayed things upto 1/2 an hour.

I liked the look of the place and the garden. The staff were very nice, helpful and not overbearing. I was helped by a staff member who carried my case to my room for me. I was grateful for that as when I arrived I was very tired after a long journey.

I didn't like the pillows, although the bed was comfortable. I didn't like the dirty seats in the lounge area, which I think could be cleaned. Unfortunately I wasn't keen on the menu for breakfast and dinner.

Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich, das Frühstück war auch ganz toll, auch dass man jeden Sondernwusch problemlos beim Frühstück äußern kann. Die Zimmer waren recht groß und typisch englisch, man hat wirklich gut geschlafen und es gab eigentlich nichts zu meckern. Das Pub unten war sehr atmosphärisch und gemütlich.

der Parkplatz ist durch eine kleine Brücke geteilt, da wir mit einem Mietwagen kamen fiel es mir schwer abzuschätzen wie breit mein Fahrzeug war, seitlich hätten Bänder etc zur Orientierng geholfen. Leider haben die Frühstückstische alle ein wenig geklebt, auch die Tür zum Frühstücksbereich, hier sollte man evtl mal mit einem guten Fettlöser drüberwischen

First barmaid was not that friendly, burger was overcooked as was the sausages and bacon at breakfast which was disappointing. Room was not made up at all in the morning so we had to ask for milk,teabag replacement which they did willingly.

The pub was a lovely cosy country pub, our room was spacious with stylish decor. The supper we had was very good.

We were shocked that we had service charge added to our evening meal and drinks. We always tip, but as we ordered everything directly at the bar and took our drinks to our table, we wouldn’t have tipped until after our dinner, so to be charged £5 at point of ordering - without knowing we had been charged, was in our opinion a liberty, we were charged for a service you didn’t provide.

Arrived to hear owls calling in the woods and the sound of the stream running through the car.park. large room and bathroom with wooden beams and a real sense of history. Nice food, attentive staff and the village shop next door.

I suspect the bathroom would be chilly in the winter and it's a long walk to the towel rail from the shower. The shampoo and conditioner are stored outside the shower - a rack inside would be more convenient.

Das Hotel liegt ganz idyllisch an einem Bachlauf und besticht durch seinen alten englischen Charme. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und zumindest mit Ventilator ausgestattet. Das Essen im Pub war sehr lecker und das Frühstück bot sehr viel Abwechslung. Der Biergarten war am warmen Sommerabend ein Traum

Lovely clean quarters. Wonderfully comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast was fab. The staff were friendly and superb! And we enjoyed the garden in the sun!

The size of the room was one of the best I've stayed in. The separate bit for the kids was excellent. Often hotels just lump all the beds into one room.

Breakfast was generally good. It is served, rather than buffet style, which I usually like, but in this case, portion sizes were very big, so that it was difficult to have just a little of a few things.

Lovely village location, handy for event we were attending. Beautiful shaded garden with stream and ample parking. Room 4 was lovely with in keeping Victorian furnishings and v comfy bed. Everything we could want, but we had to move the lamp from dressing table to one side of bed, which didn’t have a light, other side did.

Friendly staff and lovely location

Room a little tired and would benefit from a quick redecoration.

We had a very comfortable, clean newly refurbished room, well equipped too. Good location, with ample parking.

There was not much in the way of a lounge to use indoors. Fortunately, the weather was warm and dry, so we ate outdoors.

We loved this pub and our stay. The staff were welcoming and the food was excellent (we had dinner and breakfast). All in all this was a great find and just added to a relaxing and enjoyable couple of days away.

We stayed after a very hot day and even though a fan was provided, it was still a sticky and uncomfortable night but this was not the pubs fault, just good old UK summer heatwave ! One of our rooms (9A) only had one working plug which was unfortunate when you want to watch tv, charge your phone and have the fan on 😩. But again, while inconvenient, it didn’t dampen our stay 😀.

Abbiamo soggiornato 6 notti, quindi non toccata e fuga. Scarsa empatia del personale (numeroso) verso clienti con inglese non fluente. Pulizia buona ma asciugamani mai cambiati e moquette rivedibile. Servizio bar e ristorante buono.

Despite being above the pub, the rooms were quiet and private. Decorated in period style, the whole feeling was comfort.

Loved the setting and the staff were very friendly. The location was excellent and we had a family room which was clean, comfortable and good value. We had a great dinner in the garden by the river - the steak was excellent.

Although we had a fantastic dinner the night we arrived our breakfast the next morning was disappointing.

Stairs to 3 of the rooms are quite steep.

Where do I start? The room was wonderful, with a kingsize bed and super comfy. The bathroom is modern. There are usb ports in the plug to charge my phone. The breakfast is superb. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The Inn was a few km from where I needed to be every day, so I got to drive through the quaint town.

An adapter for my laptop. I didn't think about the different plugs in advance, but it would have been great if I'd been able to charge my laptop.

No bath as requested. Hottest day of the year & fan provided ineffective & dusty. Needed a better one or multiple.

I had a fantastic stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout. The room was clean, comfortable and well presented, and the food was excellent. The location was also great, with a lovely stream running through the grounds and a picturesque bridge leading over to the car park, which gave the hotel a really nice setting. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I'd happily return.

The only minor downside was the Wi-Fi. It was a bit unreliable and kept dropping in and out. I also had to connect to a different network in the bedroom than the one used in the restaurant, which was a little inconvenient. Other than that, I had no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I don't normally leave a review as I travel a lot with work and it's time consuming - but I have to say my stay at The Drummond was exceptional. The staff were fantastic - Tom especially was funny, warm and welcoming. The food in the evening and for breakfast was hearty and tasty - the poached eggs on sourdough for breakfast beat me, such were the portions! The village store is close so little essentials can be had here and it's ideally located to get around the Surrey Hills. The room was well equipped with good tea/coffee options and sweet treats. The bathroom was spacious and supplied soaps of great quality.

Nothing - for the cost of the stay - I was very happy.

A cute little pub. Closed at a very reasonable time so wasn’t kept awake. Heard nothing all night. Room was lovely. Food was delicious! Super lovely garden too.

The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our needs regarding the room. Bed comfortable , good shower.

Room was incredibly tired, pillows flat. No pillow protectors. No storage in room other than bedside tables. No drawers only hanging space for clothes. Leak from toilet waste pipe, meant unpleasant drain smell in bathroom. Inspiring menu. Wall bedside lamps loose.

Great welcome as we were spotted carrying our bags into the outside seating area and swiftly checked in. Lovely room, great attention to detail in decor. We had a light meal in the restaurant that evening and a great breakfast the following morning.

Absolutely lovely place nestled in the middle of nature! The stream, the birds.. gorgeous! Second time I stay I can't recommend it enough. Spacious room, lovely decoration, comfy bed, pressure shower! Super breakfast included.

Loved the location and the setting. Easily walkable from the train, or you could also uber if needed. Close to walk to Silent Pool Distillery and Shere as well.

Room was soooo hot, no air conditioning or window that fully opened and the radiator was on in the bathroom.

Amazing location and lovely pub with a great beer garden on the river. The rooms were clean.

We stayed on a very hot weekend and the rooms were so so hot and we couldn’t get them cooled down at night so sleeping was a little uncomfortable.

Tom, the manager, makes everyone feel super welcome. Despite the intense heat of the weekend, he was attentive, polite and friendly. The location is beautiful. The room was comfortable and there was a fan. Iron and ironing board in the room was appreciated for my crumpled linen shirts! Breakfast was lovely in the garden, listening to the stream and the birdsong.

I think the rest of the staff were suffering a little with the heat. The other manager (?) was not so friendly on check in, all I got from her was " Your room is probably not ready" so not the friendliest of greetings. After Tom went off shift, the clearing of the outside tables didn't seem a priority. Note there is no AC or fridge in the room, worth knowing on hot days.

It is near where I needed to be. It has private free parking. It has a bar and restaurant , although I didn’t eat there at all. The shower was good. The barman was pleasant.

It has a beer garden where screaming kids played in the evenings. Access upstairs to the room was tricky with a big case up a small spiral staircase with no lift. The room was stifling hot and no windows were opened to ameliorate this prior to arrival and nor was the cooler fan on, on the hottest day of the year. It was musty smelling and dusty in places. The kettle was full of gritty limescale and the basin drain didn’t work properly. The lighting in the room and bathroom was really poor.

The indoor breakfast area (at the back of the pub) could've been more clean and tidy. Me and my husband we both work in the hospitality industry and we have a high cleaning standard. Specially when it comes to food. But besides that everything else was nice

Everything went well. We slept comfortably and the family room was a good size. There was no shower but a nice bathtub. I liked the fact that the hotel is a mid 1700 building and has all the charm of an old English home. The location is beautiful. The Surrey hills are amazing and not far from the hotel is another small village called Shere which was the set for the movie "The Vacation" with Cameron Diaz and Jude Law. The river Tillingbourne passes right close to the room and I sat on a bench for a little while enjoying all the nature around me. The area is great for walking excursions and bicycle rides. It is also close to Guildford.

There was nothing that I didn't like. Whatever minor problem we encountered...and I mean minor was immediately handled by the staff who were and are very responsive and caring. I don't like to complain about simple things that require simple solutions. In too many instances clients do not inform the staff that something might not be working properly. I did and they were pleased to accomodate our needs. They are both efficient and effective.

What an amazing find location was beautiful English County Side at its best . Cozy warming Room . the Secret Garden backing on to the stream was so Pleasant . Restaurant and Bar and staff impeccable. Located in a very quiet countryside town near the silent pool and albury vineyards. Lovely pub with rooms which were clean and had everything we needed. Good selection of tea, coffee and even hot chocolate. Biscuits are always a nice touch.

Check in process was slow, whilst we appreciate it was busy during lunch one woman acknowledged us briefly and just walked off to serve someone else leaving us standing there. It did take a while for someone to check us in and he was lovely and accommodating.

Nothing!! Just would have appreciated a full length mirror in room 5 as we were attending a wedding and a long mirror would have been really useful. Otherwise, everything was lovely.
