Location, location, location!! we found it much better to stay here and go into old town. The restaurants were excellent and it was very easy to get around. Good air conditioning and the staff were all super friendly and helpful.

Can’t think of a thing we didn’t like. Would have been nice to have some irregular fried eggs for breakfast. Breakfast options were fairly decent each morning though.

Öncelikle otelin konumu mükemmeldi. Oldukça merkezi bir yerde. Old town'a 5-10 dakika yürüyüş mesafesinde. Otelden çıktıktan sonra yeme içme ve alışveriş için çok fazla seçenek var. Otel ve odalar çok temiz, personel çok yardımcıydı. Akşam sadece otel misafirlerine kapalı şekilde canlı müzik var, oldukça keyifli. Kahvaltı tatmin ediciydi. Çok özenli hazırlanmıştı. Çeşitlilik ve lezzet açısından oldukça tatmin ediciydi. Genel olarak otel beklentimin üzerindeydi. Bir daha Edinburgh'a gidersem kesinlikle tekrar bu tesisi tercih ederim.

Bardzo dobre śniadanie, duży wybór. Hotel blisko centrum, bardzo cicho, nie przeszkadzał hałas z ulicy. Dużo udogodnień, bardzo czysto, przyjazny i pomocny personel.

The size of the room was very small for £350 per night. Other hotels in the vicinity of equal or more luxurious were less money. If I had with me a regular suitcase I have no idea where it would go. Also lighting in the bathroom was poor, need better lighting above the mirror or a magnifying mirror.

On 2 or 3 occasions staff didn’t acknowledge us as we passed reception to get to the lifts, this is not a major thing but having stayed in 4 and 5 star Irish hotels it’s not as welcoming as it could be.

Lovely room, gorgeous bathroom, very clean, staff always friendly and helpful, so much choice for breakfast, had two evening meals there - both good, perfect location to get to sites, shops and eateries but just away enough from busyness. A nice park directly opposite. Loved it !!

All the staff I had dealings with were exceptional. The location is excellent. Very handy if traveling via Waverley Station.

The room was small but I knew this when I booked. Without a major, and hugely expensive, redesign of the interior of the building, I don't think the company can do anything about it.

Sitting area near front door was a bit cold especially when eating breakfast and people were coming in and out.

The Ibis Styles is in a very central location, a short walk from Waverley station and Princes Street, and the tram stop is across St Andrew Square from where we took the tram to Ocean Terminal to take a tour on the Royal Yacht Britannia.. The hotel style is very modern, very clean, very comfortable and with very helpful staff. Comfortable beds, air con, tea and coffee making, and a fabulous shower room. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. We would definitely stay at the Ibis Styles St Andrew Square again if returning to Edinburgh.

Несмотря на то, что окна в моем номере выходили на улицу, ночью было очень тихо. Шторы плотные, я прекрасно выспалась! Шикарная душевая, три вида душа и классные средства по уходу местного производства. Кондиционер работал отлично, было удобно управлять. Завтраки по типу шведского стола, все есть и все очень вкусно.

The proximity to the Royal Mile festivities was awesome...a quick scenic walk! The included breakfast was a real plus. The room was quiet,clean, and comfortable.

All staff were excellent. The young male receptionist who checked me in couldn't have been more helpful. Location is excellent but I also suspect the location is why the front door gets locked so early. I'm very fussy about comfortable pillows. These were excellent!

It was a small room which I knew about before booking. Fine for a single night but, for a longer stay, it might be a bit cramped.

Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh. Rooms were very comfortable, very clean and a superb shower. Staff were friendly and polite.

An extra charge of £30 as I added the name of the second guest to a twin room. The booking was always for 2 but booking.com told the hotel it was only 1. Not sure what happened whether it was booking.com or the hotel’s error.

Stayed for my husbands birthday as we had tickets to the military tattoo. Great location. Polite and helpful staff. They make a brilliant freshly made pizza. The breakfast option is amazing

The location is fantastic - so central. The decor is so wonderfully arty and. colourful. The continental breakfast is really substantial with so many choices. The rooms and beds are really comfortable. I always stay here when visiting Edinburgh which is at least once a year.

The room was very, very small. There was no space in the bathroom to put any clothes while taking a shower. The bed was comfortable, the location was great, and the room was quiet. The breakfast was very similar to other locations in UK, without any special highlights.

The hotel is located in a great place, just off of St Andrews Square. It was an easy walk to the bus depot, train station, and the Royal Mile. The one drawback was the size of the shower in our room. We have had larger showers on a cruise ship. While standing in the shower, one elbow touched the door, the other elbow touched the shower knob. The staff was very friendly, helping us make tour reservations, and figuring out the wi-fi issues we were having (our fault). The breakfast was well furnished, and we ate there each morning. The bar was a nice place to sit at the end of the day.

We stay here every year for the Fringe. It is a handy location - close to Waverley Station - but quiet at night. Staff are lovely, breakfast is great. Nice bar. Would feel comfortable to sit in as solo female traveller. Highly recommennded

Everything was great overall. The food was very good, the beds were comfortable, and I really enjoyed my stay. All in all everything was excellent.

The only disappointment was the view from my room, which was directly onto a wall. I had booked quite far in advance, so I had hoped to get a room with a nicer view.

The location of this hotel is conveniently situated. Breakfast was good and came with the room stay. Air conditioning was available but didn’t end up using it. The service from staff was excellent. Thanks to Norbert and Usman for going above and beyond.

Location was fantastic enough out of the hustle and bustle but still close to walk to main attractions and areas.

I paid 1300+ for two nights mainly for the view. Ended up with a not very special room with a okay view mainly blocked by another building. The room was detailed as “the works” but they only thing different to the other rooms was the view. The breakfast was missing some key items in my mind, no bacon , sausage or potato cakes. And breakfast was busy no matter what time you went down, most of the time people were struggling to find a table.

A well located hotel, easy to find and with well informed staff. I had the option to choose two rooms during check-in; one was already ready at 1 pm and the other after 3 pm. I picked the latter, I was in no need to relax right away. The room was amazing! Very quiet, an AC I could turn off completely and a window I could open. There was coffee and tea in the room, both really good. The bathroom was very clean, the water pressure of the shower was powerful. I liked the rain function. The bed was comfortable and the four pillows were all different, so quickly found my favourite. Daily breakfast was well done. A lot of options and even peak moment felt calm. More than enough tables to sit. I liked the room option to go Green and skip the daily clean. There were enough towels to use multiple days. Overall: I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed my stay. I will return for sure!

We stayed here twice on our trip to Scotland for a total of seven nights. It's a convenient location close to the train station and walking to the Old Town. It's also central walking to other neighborhoods too including Stockbridge and Dean's Village. We had a big room the first leg with a nice view of St.Andrews Square. The breakfast spread in the morning was good quality and had lots of choice. I liked this hotel and its artsy feel.

This hotel locates very close to the Old Town of Edinburgh and the Edinburgh Train Station. We could have walked from the train station to this hotel if I were familiar with the route. The room was quite big even with one additional bed, we can easily handle our two 28-inch suitcases at the same time. The balcony was definitely a plus for the room. This room was also very quiet, I could hear no more than birds singing in the morning. There are quite some good restaurants within 5 minutes walk, and there are a few big shopping malls around. It's indeed a good place to stay in Edinburgh.

Location was great! We took a bus from Inverness and were dropped off a block away! The interior design was fresh and fun. The breakfast was very good. The bathroom was quite pretty!

The room was tight. It would be nice to have 2 chairs-one for each guest. The flow of traffic in the breakfast/bar area was problematic- it felt very congested even if we went early before it got crowded.

Magnífica ubicación ya que puedes ir andando a todos los lugares de interés en muy poco tiempo, unos 8 minutos. Buenas instalaciones, camas cómodas, la ducha magnífica aunque el grifo del lavabo, sin embargo, tenía poca presión de agua, el personal muy amable, y buen desayuno.

Colazione mediocre, soprattutto la parte dolce. La parte salata era più variegata (anche se le salsicce non erano un granché). Succhi dai dispenser, solo sufficienti. Frutta buona. Era necessario prenotare la pulizia della stanza (politica che non condivido): per fortuna bastava cliccare un pulsante vicino alla porta.

I booked 2 rooms here for 3 nights in July. The hotel and rooms were clean. No issues with the sheets, bed, pillows or towels. There was a separate knob just for temperature control for the shower which was amazing. However the hot/cold water from the bathroom tap was a bit fiddly. Room is fully air-conditioned, which is a nice plus. Mostly not needed as the weather was not too hot even in July. There are wall sockets near both sides of the bed. Toiletries are available on request. The breakfast spread was ok: full English, a variety of cheeses, coffee machine, some fresh fruit, haggis etc. The front door is locked after 6pm, but you can swipe the room card to unlock it. The hotel is right next to St.Andrew square and a 10 min walk from Waverly station, although it's uphill from the station. Dean village, Calton hill, the royal mile etc. are all within walking distance. However the terrain is not flat so be prepared to walk up and down hills.

Only a minor inconvenience, there is no room service, you have to pick up your food from the restaurant at the lobby level.

The hotel was superbly located to walk to sights. We were there for the Edinburgh Fringe so it was lovely to be able to dip in and out but be close enough to walk and get some great food. The hotel had a wonderful vibe to it - not bohemian but interesting and all very clean. Our room was a little small but it was great for what we needed and very quiet too. The bathroom was lovely - good size! The bed and bedding was very comfortable and the bed a good size. Breakfast runs for quite a few hours which is great as it means you can get a table. It's a buffet style with plenty of choice and it is fresh and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a lovely informality about checking in and out. We took two rooms and obviously more expensive during the Festival. My son loved it so much he will be returning soon. Security for hotel is very good too by using key cards to access lifts and hotel after 20:00pm.

So pleased I'm don't think anything could have been improved!

The room was cozy, new style nice decoration and spotless. Hotel is located centrally which became really handy to visit the city. The staff were lovely, and restaurant /breakfast included gluten free options which is really appreciated when you can’t eat gluten. All together, it made the stay perfect.

The bathroom lights were broken - I arrived late so didn’t want to go back to reception and just had to deal with it by keeping door open but that should have been spotted by cleaning staff . In a room costing this much a bottle of water or access to water dispenser on each floor is expected / a very basic requirement which is not provided. Fresh milk is provided in a small bottle but there is no fridge - the room was over 20’c …. Surely this is a food standards issue

Great location in a quieter corner, but easy walk to all the popular tourist spots. We loved the balcony room, awesome views, spacious, fantastic shower. Good breakfast and bar, you can order pizza late if hungry.
