Alexandra nnd Andreas are two of the nicest people you will meet and they take making your stay perfect a priority. The recommendations and advice were all spot on. The breakfast is to die for with more choices of egg than i knew existed. The courtyard for breakfast is very private and quiet, shared with two other couples only. The bedroom is a good size, a very comfortable large bed, excellent bath/shower and good air conditioning. So private yet so close to the centre of Chania. Absolutely perfect, it even has private car parking

Only little critic is: please use bigger amenities too much plastic waste, and in our room the three drawers have been full with extra stuff for the room, but no space for our things. Hanging space was enough.

Andreas ile muhabbet çok güzeldi. Alexandra da bizi rahat ettirmek için çok uğraştı. Çok teşekkürler Kahvaltı ayrıca çok iyiydi.

A lovely little gem in the heart of Chania’s old town. With just three rooms, the hotel feels intimate and welcoming, and the location couldn’t be better — everything is within easy walking distance. The rooms are tastefully and thoughtfully appointed, and the breakfasts prepared by Mrs Aleksandra are wonderful. The owner was genuinely helpful, and thanks to his recommendations we discovered some excellent local restaurants. We warmly recommend this place and hope to return one day.

To niewielki obiekt, zaledwie trzy pokoje, ale właśnie to stanowi o jego wyjątkowości — czuliśmy się jak u siebie, otoczeni serdecznością i spokojem. Pokoje są urządzone perfekcyjnie, z dbałością o każdy detal i prawdziwym smakiem. Osobny rozdział należy się śniadaniom, które Pani Aleksandra przygotowuje po prostu wspaniale — to był codzienny, pyszny rytuał, na który czekaliśmy każdego ranka. Właściciel okazał się niezwykle pomocny i życzliwy. To dzięki jego wskazówkom odkryliśmy prawdziwe perełki gastronomiczne, których sami nigdy byśmy nie znaleźli. Z całego serca polecam ten hotel każdemu, kto szuka autentycznego, ciepłego miejsca w Chanii. Mamy ogromną nadzieję, że kiedyś uda nam się tu wrócić!

It’s so unique, with thoughtful touches, great location, wonderful hospitality and awesome shower!

It was decorated so uniquely with very tasteful antiques There was attention to details. The air condition was very sufficient. Water pressure or shower was luxurious. Our only problem was the toilet was on the first floor and the bedroom was on the second floor. Alex was very hospitable and pampering. Breakfast was extensive and so creative. More than sufficient with fresh fruit, yogurt- toast with several types of jams. We got a choice of several ways of eggs. We ate our breakfast on the very nicely set up tables on the patio. The location for this In is so convenient couple doors away from shopping, dining and other activities.

Location and interesting character

Overall stay was fantastic, perfect breakaway from the busy centre even though you're so close, the junior suite exceeded expectations, the bath was spacious and the room had so much character. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they helped us a lot with the local area and were always available.

Das war nicht zu toppen. Beste Gastgeber überhaupt. Ein außerordentlich hervorragendes Frühstück. Alles lokale Produkte. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Die Ausstattung ist wie ein Palazzo. Man kann nicht ausreichend Superlativen erwähnen um dieses BEST OF HOTEL zu beschreiben. Die Lage war natürlich auch hervorragend. In der OLD TOWN. Trotzdem sehr ruhig. Parkplatz ist auch vorhanden

Charming, small, boutique property right in the heart of old town Chania within short walking distance of the harbor and sights. Set in a historic mansion, the rooms are unique, filled with antiques, artwork, and all you need for your comfort. Alexandra serves a wonderful breakfast in the courtyard, and Andreas is an excellent source of information for sightseeing, excursions, and shopping. He recently helped us find an antique rug dealer. The duo provides wonderful, friendly service, and you will feel like family by your second visit. Don't hesitate, book!

This was one of the most charming, special, memorable hotels I've ever stayed in in my life. Each of the three rooms are sumptuously decorated with their own individual style, the breakfasts are generous and beautifully presented, and Andreas (the host) and Alexandra welcomed me so warmly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

What a lovely gem tucked away right in the heart of Old Town Chania! Our room was beautiful and comfortable with 2 floors of living space. The owner Andreas is so friendly and charming - we looked forward to our breakfast conversations with him and other hotel guests each morning. Breakfast is delicious, whipped up fresh by Alex - the absolute sweetest woman who helps run La Maison. Highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return!

We had the privilege of staying at this hotel for 5 nights we had the upstairs room the Aisha which had a private terrace with views to the sea. The room was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Alex the wonderful host and maker of sublime breakfasts and Andreas the charming owner ensured that everything about the stay was perfect. The hospitality was up there with the best if not the best we have encountered during our travels. The breakfast was exquisite and beautifully presented on vintage crockery. Such a treat.

Brilliant little venue, deep in the old town and only a stone's throw from both harbours. Room was fabulous and a little opulent, and there was a breakfast to die for. Hosts Alex and Andrea were fantastic and really helpful for recommendations for places to go and venues for eating. Really useful to have access to a parking spot deep in the city - thanks!

Quirky small hotel in a quiet backstreet yet only a few minutes walk away from any of the old city. Very comfortable room with a wonderful breakfast and the hosts could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Although there is parking I would save yourself the stress and get a taxi as it’s not easy to find and you won’t want to drive around Chania any more than you have to.

Our stay at La Maison Ottomane was lovely! It was very clean, had artwork that was unnecessarily refined and beautiful, and breakfast was a lavish experience. The bed was comfortable and shower had great pressure and lots of hot water. The location was excellent, although driving in old town is harrowing with very narrow streets. Tucked away in a quiet corner, La Maison Ottomane provided unexpected serenity and charm with great convenience to tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront.

We had a great stay. The hotel is unique, historically styled and very quiet while being a short walk away from the old town, historic neighborhoods, taverns etc. Andreas and Alex are warm and friendly, who clearly enjoy hosting and making sure you enjoy your stay.

Everything was amazing from the pre- arrival information to the room, the breakfasts, the location and the tips and recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Alex and Andreas are a great team and went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. The room has been decorated with such taste and the free liquor was delicious. Also, everything is on the doorstep.

La Maison Ottomane is truly a hidden gem in Chania’s Old Town. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the Venetian harbor and all the restaurants and shops. What made my stay especially memorable were the wonderful hosts. Alexandra and another gentleman (I believe his name was Andreas?) were incredibly warm, accommodating, and genuinely kind. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel so welcome and at home. The breakfast each morning was homemade and freshly cooked, which was such a treat. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I also loved the small, cozy atmosphere of the place—it feels very personal and charming, not like a big hotel. As a solo traveler, I truly appreciated how comfortable they made me feel. Alexandria and Andreas never treated me any differently and were always happy to chat, give recommendations, and make sure I had everything I needed. If you are looking for a beautiful boutique stay with genuine hospitality in Chania, I highly recommend La Maison Ottomane. I would happily stay here again.

Absolutely the most beautifully decorated little boutique hotel in Chania! Every detail was meticulously curated and all the amenities were thoughtfully selected. Perched in the quiet neighbourhood above the old town it was only five minute walk down to the port with its lighthouse and Venetian and Ottoman architecture and all the cafes, restos and shops. The owner was extremely polite and helpful, and smiling Alexandra's superb breakfast in the lovely courtyard was divine. The whole experience was so pleasant we didn't want to leave and very much look forward to being able to visit again soon!

Highly recommend La Maison Ottomane. An actual boutique hotel with style. My wife and I wished we'd booked to stay longer, by far the best place we stayed while traveling in Crete for two weeks. Please make sure you book directly, contact directly. Booking via other sites will cost you a lot more.

It was a little hard to find the first time, but once we got a feel for the streets, much easier. Easy walk to the waterfront.

Exquisite hosts in a fabulous place near the most important sites in town. Everything was extremely refined and done with excellent taste from room decorations to breakfast services.

While the room was truly exceptional, the mattress was not very comfortable. But everything else (bathroom included) was far beyond the expectations.

The room and decor were thoughtful and beautifully presented, with a supremely comfortable bed and luxurious sheets. Andreas's food recommendations were spot-on. Located perfectly in the old town with easy parking. We had a truly wonderful time and highly recommend it!"

A beautiful and welcoming gem in Chania. A perfect location right around the corner from the water, with fabulous restaurants and shops steps away. Alexandra and Andreas were wonderful throughout my short stay. The room was impeccably designed and decorated. Breakfast served in the courtyard was fabulous and fresh with a wide selection of made to order dishes. One thing to note: I am an extremely light sleeper (even with heavy duty earplugs I have issues) and stayed in the junior suite on the ground floor- there is a room above so I was a little disturbed by the footsteps above. This was the only fault I found about my stay, and I doubt many people have the same sleep issues I do. If you are an extremely light sleeper though, I recommend booking the other 2 rooms. There is a small parking lot next to the house which was an added bonus! Highly recommend booking your stay here!

Το μονο που περιμεναμε καθως το ειδαμε στο booking ηταν υδρομασαζ, το οποιο το δωματιο δεν ειχε εν τελει δυστυχως.. Αλλα κατα τα αλλα ολα ήταν υπεροχα και μαγικα! Το προτεινω ανεπιφύλακτα σε ζευγάρια ειναι ιδανικό για ρομαντικες επετειους κλπ

We have very rarely seen such attention to detail, such exquisite taste in the selection of paintings, objects, and furniture, and such precision in their arrangement. Furthermore, the welcome is exceptionally warm.

I was really looking forward to this hotel, but upon arrival I honestly wanted to cry. The place smelled of mold, there was no ventilation, it was dark and suffocating with hardly any windows. The hotel seems to overstate its quality—I would not give even one star. The only positive was the owner, who was incredibly kind

Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre eine Unterbringung des Kofferinhaltes gut. Es gibt keinen Schrank für Kleidung. Der offene Koffer trübt das Bild des wunderschönen Raumes doch erheblich. Für uns mit nur 1 Nacht völlig okay

Breakfast was excellent and served in the most delightful courtyard by very charming hosts. Its in a great position to explore the lanes and old port of Chania. It was very quiet for a town centre hotel.

When we first entered the room (one of the downstairs rooms) it was quite dark and a little claustrophobic but once we had switched on lots of lights and taken off our sunglasses (!) it felt brighter. However there are no views out of the two small windows as they are obscured on the outside (to keep the room private). Access by car was not for the fainthearted as the alleys approaching it are very narrow. It would be difficult in a large SUV.

La struttura ha una tipologia di arredo eccessiva, che non riscontra ill mio gusto. Tuttavia il proprietario è cordiale e piacevole. Colazione servita dalle 9, ottima e personale cordiale. La possibilità di parcheggiare nella città vecchia è impagabile.

Letto molto scomodo. Tanti elementi di arredo che fanno polvere. La pulizia non era perfetta, c’era polvere sullo specchio del bagno e anche in alcuni punti della camera. Le finestre sono chiuse da un vetro opaco. Scarsa areazione e nessuna vista.

Alexandra bereitet es jeden Morgen mit viel Liebe für die maximal 6 Gäste zu und geht auf Wünsche und Vorlieben ein. Handegamchte Marmeladen, alles frisch zubereitet und mit qualitativ hochwertigen Produkten. Wie haben jeden Morgen so viel und gut gegessen, dass wir erst wieder zum Abendessen Hunger hatten :) - private Parkmöglichkeit ist Gold wert mitten in Chania

The room was very fancy and had a large soaking tub with rain shower. The decorations are Ottoman style and very ornate. The manager was very sweet and helpful. We couldn't be there for the breakfasts so she preloaded our refrigerator with breakfasts. She even included some treats because we were hiking Samaria Gorge. There is a nice coffee bar in the room.
