Rooms are okay, but a little outdated - but beds are comfortable and big (king size). The restaurant is great value - not overpriced. Good activities for kids - pool, table tennis, billard, tennis etc.

Aircon units are fairly old and noisy - we had to turn off ours doing the night as too noisy. If you don't play golf - then probably not a destination.

The place is so beautiful, the staff is so friendly and accomodating. They also upgrade our room. Thank you so much

The location on the golf course was great, the course and facilities (inlcuding food and service) at the golf club were excellent.

The suites at Mount Malarayta is not a hotel or resort, it is a residential estate next to a really good 27 hole golf course. The only dining facilities (bar or entertainment) is at the golf club which closes around 6:30pm - we arrived direct from the International Airport just after 7pm and everything was closed at the "resort" and there is nothing within walking distance.

The rooms are well maintained. You do not feel it's old. Aircon is quite good. The bath towels are great!!

some small & petty stuff but something that could be better in room 4209 w/c your next guest would appreciate I think to make it a better experience: 1. The door is hard to open with a key & and also hard to close (I think due to the hydraulic arm) 2. Toilet paper is too 'cheap' 3. Misaligned faucet that can see dark stuff on it (mold?) 4. The water in the bath doesn't all go inside the sink so the water pools inside the center (it is not clogged) 5. The chair's foam has stains and is concave....need re-upholstery or cleaning? add: pool's side where pebble meets the water are too sharp. I think it is corrosion over time. something to fix to minimize injury or scratches.

Breakfast coffee was cold, quite disappointed on the fruit bowl served with fly inside.

the surroundings are very nice and cozy, the staff are kind, friendly and attentive.. the room is old but clean and cozy, it's worth the price--I will come back here again.. highly recommended.

The location & environment itself. It’s vast green landscapes, very secured property, nice crowd of people, good service.

They should have include breakfast on the room rate. Even just a plates pinoy breakfast will do.

The golf course was nice. Locker rooms were nice. Staff was knowledgeable . Also, the payment model on-site where we use a “passport system” and just pay upon checking out after a round was very convenient.

Restaurant is priced quite higher compared to other golf courses’ restaurants.

This is the only hotel/resort that is outside of Lipa City proper. It is like staying in a Park. Very quiet environment. Great staff. Very nice rooms. Wifi is a bit slow.

The resort is just outside the main city center and very quiet and park-like environment with beautiful view of Mt. Malarayat. It has a nice restaurant. Staff are great!

The room and bathroom were nice but I had a hard time sleeping because of the nasty,moldy,stagnant circulating air smell from the exhaust, even cracking the door a little bit didn’t help. There was supposedly a strict dress code at the restaurant but I didn’t believe it was strongly enforced. The quiet dinner we were having was abruptly interrupted by the loud volume of the TV after it was turned on by the staff. I think this hotel is overrated

Provides a wide array of facilities-swimming pool, gym,bike rentals, etc. Good food at the restaurant. So hard to get around without a car. Spotty shuttle service.

It is the best place to stay in Lipa City, Batangas. It is very beautiful place with lovely view of Mt Malarayat and the lovely grounds landscape and open golf course is so relaxing and quiet. The food is excellent at the little restaurant. The staff are all very kind. All the staff including security are so kind and friendly. The Spa is great. Their staff massage therapist, Marylyn, is excellent. It is so relaxing after traveling.

Staff are friendly and accommodating. Only flaws are that we were charged for Php150 for extra towel request. Considering that I registered for 2 adults and 2 kids. Additional charge for playing in the basketball court and need to rent a ball.

Best in Lipa. The entire staff weere phenomenal proving 5 Star customer service. Love the secure, quiet and state of the art facilities. Golf is definitely a world class setting. Definitely recommended and will stay here again! Bed can use a little upgrade to a more comfortable mattress.

Beautiful setting. Room was average for the price. It was the first day of my honeymoon and I had booked a room there on my way to our destination with hopes of playing a round of golf. (My wife had once caddied there previously and I wanted to share that experience). I developed a painful case of gout the day before and was barely able to walk. When I asked if I could rent a golf cart and pay to have a caddie shows us the course briefly for future references , I was told that unless I paid the greens fees also that there were no golf carts available. I was disappointed in not being able to take a 15-20 minute tour unless I paid full price.

Not very accomodating for Families with Kids. Strict rules on their TINY Restaurant. Will not serve you even though your a paying guest and even if you are decently dressed including your children. No room service. For a tropical island, this is NOT a Resort Experience. Just a pretty Golf Course for Golfers. It should not be called a Resort. Needs improvement overall. Sorry.

it was a relaxing stay, but the food rate is too much

We stayed here somewhat on business and just needed a quick and affordable room. Unfortunately, the narra rooms are uncomfortable, dark and very old. The entire hotel and room smell like raid and it's definitely not suitable in cleanliness if you are traveling with kids for those that are. The service and staff were nice, but apart from that, I would definitely recommend getting a room upgrade if you can afford it. At that price point though there are a lot of other options for hotel rooms in nicer hotels. The main benefit of being here is if you are golfing and just want something convenient. Also in the past the rooms all included breakfast and now they don't, which is unfortunate for the price point.

Our stay at The Suites at Mount Malarayat was fine. The employees are very courteous and very accommodating. There's is just items that they need to improve like the Wifi and cable channels for TV.

It was a surprise that it was a country club. Was one of the best locations that we stayed in our two weeks in the Philippines

We love the room... the entire place... activites are so simple yet enjoyable and worth spending with family or love ones. Staffs are so friendly that will promptly assists and provide your needs. We recommend mt malarayat gold and country club with friends to visit. They will enjoy the scenery of nature and tranquility of place.

A very relaxing stay😊

OUR ROOM IS FEW STEPS AWAY FROM THE PLAY GROUND AND SWIMMING POOL THAT OUR CHILDREN REALLY ENJOYED THE PLACE. THE STAFF IS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND COURTEOUS ALL THE TIME. IT IS INDEED A PLACE TO RELAX AND ENJOY! THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THEY HAVE ONLY 1 RESTAURANT WHICH IS AT THE GOLF CLUB THAT IS VERY STRICT IN DRESS CODE.

I was made to feel like a VIP guest and the staff were very pleasant. The swimming pool, spa and massage options complemented the relaxing atmosphere around the resort. The resort was central to all of the cities we visited including a beach-side resort. This meant less traveling and more time spent on our planned activities. If I go back to the Philippines I will stay here again. The views of the grounds, lakes and jungle was exceptional.

Narra rooms at Malarayat are adequate even though rooms & bathrooms need updating. Hotel staff including the security staff are both pretty awesome. Staff are well trained and very respectful towards guest. Kudos to the their staff personnel.

Great way to escape from the hassles of city living. The room was nice, views of the golf course are amazing, the locals warm anf friendly, the climate cool and just right. 2hours away only from Manila. Will trturn

Rooms were clean and staff very friendly. Not quite a 5-star experience but for the price you pay, it is worth it. The Club has excellent golf facilities and can rival any outside the country. Some non-golf facilities (kids soft play area) seemed neglected and under-utilized. Overall, I would rate the place a 4 being that I am an avid golfer.

Love our stay. Love the security, peace and quiet. Beautiful scenery. Only difficulty was finding where to check in on the first night.(Check in desk located in the country club building). Rooms were nice and clean.

The WiFi is not accessible in the room.

Not really a full resort. ... had to pay to use the gym, no extra towels, no extra pillows and wifi is NOT fully received throughout the resort or in your room. Staff was great and service was also outstanding.

The place was very well maintained. It is very serene. Almost at Par with The Empire, Brunei but with better service and warm people.

We enjoyed the pool, trampoline, badminton courts and the restaurant. The food was more expensive than the food court at the local SM Mall but was priced fairly for good food at a restaurant. We were disappointed when housekeeping didn't replace our full complement of towels missing 2 face cloths in one room and one hand towel in another. What's worse is the hotel charged us for the missing towels upon checkout. We made our beds each day quickly before leaving and then noticed that they didn't change the sheets when cleaning the room. Throughout our week long stay the sheets were not changed. Our rooms also had a problem with ants. The resort charged for the use of the trampoline, badminton courts and racquets which surprised us. It just seemed that the resort was worried about nickels and dimes and less about customer satisfaction. I don't think we'll be returning to this resort.

Hotel was almost empty , yet they had us come back for check in a couple hours later, seems a little crazy when 95% of the rooms are empty and probably clean. No guest are allowed at the pool without being charged, no one was hardly at the pool so why in the world would you not allow your guest to have friends over??? Nice room yet you supply 2 hangers for a four night stay. I think most couples should have more items to hang up than one each. Just a whole bunch of stupid little things that were not needed. The list could go on.

The scenery was beautiful. Peaceful abd quiet. Great for relaxation. And we went there to play golf.

First off, great place to get away. Closed, gated community. It's located in a pretty remote area. Hotel was clean, reliable wifi, and beds were comfortable. TV reception was also very good, though limited channels. The biggest drawback were the amenities and cost of everything. There was a charge for everything, and yes, I understand that this is a country club, but the charges for food as well as gym use were a bit ridiculous. Front desk staff was a bit snooty upon our check-in, but everyone else was very nice. I would definitely book this hotel if you'd like to get away for a relaxing, quiet time away from the city.
