Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir bekamen zum Checkin noch einen Sekt zur Begrüßung. Wir hatten das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss neben der Rezeption, es war geräumig und sauber, obwohl das Zimmer an der Rezeption war, war es keinesfalls laut. Das Frühstück bekommt man in einer kleinen Box, man hat die Wahl das Frühstück auf dem Zimmer oder im Frühstücksraum zu genießen, es ist einfach gehalten aber sehr lecker und 100% ausreichend. Die Lage befindet sich in der schönen Altstadt. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen.

I love the location and the design of the room. In the evening it can be a little loud, as it is by a nighclub. The staff was great. It was our anniversary and my husbands birthday and they had some bubbly and cake for us. So unexpected. Their breakfast basket was so yummy.

Lovely old hotel positioned in the middle of the action although very quiet overnight. Wonderful staff with special mention to Michael & Catherine who are exceptional receptionists and welcomers. Rooms are consistent with an older property, tastefully decorated, although a little smaller than usual, totally clean. As others before us, we found the bed to be quite soft and arguably a little old. Having said this, the bathroom is a great size with a wonderful shower. The restaurant and bar appear to be managed by different operators and some disjointing is apparent. Nevertheless, pleasant atmosphere in both.

Breakfast is quite basic and comes in a box with a pastry and a bag of nuts. Coffee in the flasks can be luke warm so probably best to find breakfast elsewhere. Don’t expect views from the room, old part of the city with tightness of buildings.

This is a cute small hotel which affords attention to detail and personal service to customers. Parking was next to the hotel, fair fee and 24/7 safe security.

Réception host very pro and friendly

Since my room was next to lobby, door lacks sound insulation. Instructions for breakfast : room service at 10am were not followed. I had to call reception at 10:15 to inquire about my breakfast. Breakfast was eventually delivered to room.

The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting Old Montreal, you are close to everything! All of the staff were excellent in all departments, very friendly, helpful and accomodating. This hotel is very clean! The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was great. The room was really pretty and appears to have been upgraded. Although small, there is a lot of storage space and shelving to put all your stuff into. The view from our room was very nice and the window opened so we could hear the birds in the morning. The room was very quiet, so we slept really well. We loved the breakfast in our room and if you have it in the dining room, you get even more options. The room has a Keurig and you can ask for all the coffee and creamers you want. I love the request system of hangin a little note outside your door. There are food and drinks available and a decent menu! We enjoyed a good dinner one night, and a glass of wine on the patio in the back on another. The lounge area looked really nice although we never used it.

The room we had was really cute but small for 2 people so we tended to not use it as much as we may have if it was rommier, or if it had a balcony, not that it could have had a balcony. We never looked at any other rooms so maybe some are bigger? Lots of older hotels have small rooms so it certainly is not a deal breaker. We'd come back for sure. The shower was tricky; we never really got the hang of it. I would recommend setting up the shower temp etc. before getting in!

The hotel is situated in a perfect location in Old Montreal - walking distance to some great restaurants. The staff was lovely, the rooms were cute and spacious enough for a 3 nights getaway. Appreciated the breakfast basket in the mornings. Also for an F1 weekend, the hotel was incredibly quiet. We couldn't hear any of the outside buzz nor the hotel guests, which was excellent for sleeping.

Similar to what others have said, all that's missing is a mini fridge. We brought our cooler and kept buying ice at the grocery store, which worked well, but it would be great if they squeezed in a mini fridge somewhere.

La posizione è ottima per chi vuol visitare la zona storica. Indubbiamente location caratteristica, gentile il personale, hanno risolto abbastanza velocemente un problema alla cassaforte che si era bloccata.

L’albergo è un po’ datato, colazione minimale (un Pan ai chocolate è un succo) ci avevano chiesto alla sera se volevamo yogurt e mela ma non li hanno portati. Scarsa la dotazione di prodotti da bagno. Il prezzo è eccessivo per quanto offerto.

The best location in all of Montreal. Free breakfast was amazing. The staff was amazing and gave amazing recommendations for food and bars. Also, the bed was really comfortable.

El persona fue atentísimo. El precio incluía desayuno y nos dieron una habitación superior a la reservada muy agradable. El baño era muy amplio y la ubicación, estupenda.

Me sobró todo el envoltorio que traían los productos de desayuno. No es una práctica medioambientalmente sostenible.

Truly enjoyed Hotel Epik Old Montreal. I had a great stay, everyone here is very welcoming and friendly. I loved the decor, old stone comfortable rooms, very clean, and quiet. Perfect location to discover Old Montreal, Arts district, China town, Casino etc.

The staff there were absolutely amazing, they gave us some useful information on places to visit and restaurants to eat. Not to mention they were very vertical friendly and nice. The room was a bit small but the stone that was inside the room made us feel like we weren’t even in a hotel. It’s like I stepped back into the 1800 it was gorgeous. The breakfast they gave us was cute and lovely a hot drink a croissant with cheese and little homemade jams. I would love to thank Nathan, Marqi and Catherine for an amazing experience.

The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was bright, spaceous and comfortable overall. The shower was excellent and the room was quiet as requested. We appreciated the breakfast box in the morning.

The window nearest to the bed had a wicked draft, filling the room with cold air. More variety with the continental breakfast, i.e a box of cut fruits, and or muesli would be appreciated. A bathroom with a bath would have been a nice touch.

Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to check-in early and keep our bags at the reception after checking out. I'm not sure if I'm correct, but I think the name of the person that was amazing to us was Katherine. Thank you very much for your good service!!

Super locatie, gezellige kamer met (nep) open haard. Fijne douche en lekker groot bed. Hele aardige mensen bij de receptie.

Het inbegrepen ontbijt werd bij de deur gehangen en er werd niet geklopt waardoor de koffie koud was toen we het ontdekten. Misschien is iets duidelijkere informatie hierover handig?

The room was wonderful and equipped with all the necessary hotels amenities. The front staff was kind and the hotel has a complimentary glass of wine as you check-in. A very nice way to start the stay. The location in old port was very close to the resto we had reservations for that evening. (especially as it was so cold lol). The breakfast basket was so cute and came with 2 of everything. I would go back next time we are looking for a getaway.

We visited Montreal for the first time and wanted to stay right in the heart of old Montreal. The location IS PERFECT. Short stroll to Bonaparte restaurant which has true French dinning. Nathaniel checked us in, helped with our bags, and made us feel so appreciated and welcome. He booked our dinning reservation FOR US. And when he found out we were celebrating an anniversary, he brought out a fabulous white wine for us. The rooms are clean, modern, but unique. We booked two and were able to stay on the same floor and spend time in both rooms. The hotel itself makes you feel like you’re staying with family in the way they brought up our coffees and breakfast. Parking is right behind the hotel and while it’s not a hotel parking, the guys there are solid. Thank you Hotel Epik for being so wonderful! 1000/10!!

It was a a clean cozy place, right in the heart of town. The staff also gave me a free upgrade even without asking. That was the cherry on top of the cake for me.

The location was excellent-walkable to metro etc. Close to many great restaurants.

Room did not have extra seating, a little small. Would have liked a table for eating since breakfast brought to the room. Not many attractions or suggestions of things to do from staff. They were very friendly however.

Sadly there was a lot of construction on the street directly in front of the hotel during our stay. I wish this would have been noted before we booked.

Hôtel très bien situé dans la rue St Paul avec beaucoup de charme y compris dans la chambre ! Tout se fait à pied sans problème. Petit déjeuner simple (avec sa boite lunch) mais correct malgré tout.

Alors par contre, la chambre n'est pas du tout au niveau d'un standard "supérieur" !!! Lit très inconfortable (complètement mou et on glisse !!!) Pas de peignoir ni chausson ! Pas de mini bar ou de mini frigo ! c'est honteux vu le prix payé ! Et surtout la cafetière !!!! pas digne du tout d'un standard supérieur ! A revoir impérativement ... c'est pas du café ... c'est du jus de chaussette ! on aurait aimé au moins une Nespresso. Et pas de ménage ni changement de serviettes à moins de le dire sauf que pour ça il faudrait prévenir à la réception ! (la fiche qui le signale sur le lit passe totalement inaperçue!) Non vraiment très déçus de la chambre alors que l'hôtel est charmant :-(

Catherine was amazing and very helpful. The continental breakfast was very nice and left outside your room. The hotel was extremely quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

There was no elevator but that did not really impact our stay. The staff was very accommodating and offered to assist on multiple occasions.

We did not stay here because there was road construction right in front of the hotel that went on noisily all day, Plus, as a result of the construction, the sidewalk in front of the hotel was unsafe and difficult to navigate. The room we were given was large and comfortable but had insufficient lighting and was very dark. We were able to move to sister property of the EPIK -- Hotel UVille -- a couple of blocks away and really liked that hotel. It was quiet, had a great staff, a comfortable well-lit room, and an excellent location.

Location and esthetic

There was major construction in front of the hotel and a gas pipe was broken just minutes after we checked in and we were evacuated. The hotel should be transparent about work being done in and around the hotel before booking. I’ve stayed there before and loved it. Had I known that the entire street in front of the hotel was completely dug up I would have chosen to stay at another hotel.
