Beautiful surroundings and wonderful staff
A bit old and run down. Needs updating. Loud road noise
We have been here a few times. The view is stunning, surrounded by the mountains and having a lovely calm lake. The gardens are lovely and we enjoyed walking around. There are lots of quirky hallways. The restaurant had delicious food, even accommodating for my husband’s gluten-free needs and the waitresses were so friendly and helpful. Kudos to Jenny and Michelle. Lots of nearby activities such as the ghost town and skytrek park.
Our mattress wasn’t as firm as the one we have at home, which left me with a sore back in the morning but that often happens when I travel. The soreness always disappeared after walking around.
Exceeded our expectations for first stay at 3 valley gap! We will be back!
Just so lovely. Had so much there. Library, games rm, pool gardens inside and out. Facilities. Nice not being in the town.
All lovely
The view was amazing
No air conditioner and closets in the room.
Het bijbehorende Ghost town is leuk om doorheen te wandelen. Eten was prima
Good breakfast. Bathroom ledges along sink dusty. I cleaned them myself. Staff friendly. Museum amazing. Grandchildren loved it Scary train there favorite. Could use some dusting on baseboards in trains. Thanks for letting us check out later. My grandsons loved Bo at restaurant. Talked his ear off.
We had a 3rd floor room that provided a view of the gardens and part of the lake. We were happy to have a balcony with a screen door. Also grateful for an elevator!
It was so hot outside which mean our room was also very hot. Even with balcony door open and floor fan it was almost unbearable. Unfortunately it was also smoky from forest fires so with the balcony door open to try to cool things down we also had the smell of the smoke. We know the smoke issue is beyond the hotel's control. We didn't sleep much. Not a big deal but tv selection was not great.
The property , the vision of the dream for this place, the views, location, RUSTY
The food at restaurant.
Mooie locatie aan het meer en tussen de bergen. Er is veel te doen: binnenzwembad, meer om te zwemmen. Tuin is mooi met vogels. Erbij zit een museum met ook oude treinen.
Gehorige kamer/gang.
The view was absolutely amazing, the outdoor space was beautiful and the creepy vibe was perfect
The tv was exceptionally small with next to no reception
Loved the nostalgic atmosphere and the history. We thought there were so many cool things to take in. We talked about how cool the place would have been even 50 years ago. Everyone should stay here at least once or make it a great overnight stop in your journey.
Even though there isn't air conditioning, the rooms were comfortable.
Great location. Enjoyed the Ghost Town next door
Old and tired. And uncomfortable.
Friendly staff
Quite rustic for the price
Ghost Town, lesiure activities such as renting a paddle boat, kayak and playing pool, table tennis.
The beds were hard as a rock, people smoking pot on the deck but otherwise nice place.
Great customer service
The smell in the corridors not the best one , ( smells like dog urine)
great view
lost power
Clean and neat with friendly staff.
The loft room was hot, it is somewhat uncomfortable to have to climb stairs to access bathroom.
Love the room on the first floor, clean and neat.
Historical
The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good. The hotel location was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the adjoining museum.
The rooms were a little hot. Air conditioning would have enhanced the experience.
The location that it is a heritage building
Too close to the highway too much road noise no air conditioning
Pool, hot tub, boat rental, nicely kept gardens, museum, restaurants. Room with a view!
Highway traffic
Everything!! It’s such an amazing place to stay!

Beautiful scenery. Love the ghost town. Room itself is quite nice
The walls are very thin and as a couple we were booked in next to a family with young kids and no 6:30 am manners
Nichts

The location was very convenient to our drive. The setting is stunning. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is very much family friendly
The restaurant menu offered a nice variety of choices but the meals themselves were just ok.
It was just such a cool hotel!
Nothing! Everything was awesome even not having air conditioning when it was hot was fine!
Loved the location
Limited elevator
Good location, lots to do with kids in the area!
It’s old, no wifi!
Scenic views from every room and lots to do for the whole family. Definitely check out the ghost town if you have time!
L’emplacement, la vue sur le lac, l’architecture, le jardin intérieur, le jardin extérieur, le musée adjacent et évidemment le chat Rusty!
Le lit n’était pas très confortable.
Excellent, if a little noisy, setting.
The entire facility seems run-down and in need of updating. The best in the room we were given was worn out.
The amazing mountain views. Love that there is a balcony. It was so beautiful!
Wasn’t a fan of the breakfast. Kinda over priced and it just wasn’t that great. Which is unfortunate because there not really any where around to go eat elsewhere.
View
Loved there was a lake right on the property!
The food was absolutely so delicious!! my compliments to the chefs in the dining room. Great location and view, and very friendly stuff
We liked the lake and the ghost town was very interesting. Rooms are clean and spacious, with balcony.
The hotel is closed to the highway which is very noisy throghout the whole night. Dinnes in the restaurant was very average, I asked about salmon to be prepared medium which was not possible. The wine was also nothing special.
EVERYTHING! The design of the hotel, the lobbies, the rooms, ghost town, the stunning gardens and views, an unreal place!!
Very quirky! Never stayed anywhere like it!
Nothing
Our stay was excellent! This hotel is perfect for families with kids. The beach is beautiful, the swimming pool is great, and there are so many activities to keep children entertained. The museum was an extra charm! It made our stay even more special. My kids absolutely loved it! We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to other families.
Beautiful location with great access to the lake, pool and restaurant.
Rooms were a bit dated and no AC.
Absolutely beautiful! What a magical place with the lake/beach. The hotel itself looks gorgeous with the red roof tucked in the mountains. The ghost town is a fun place to visit - didn’t visit this last time but have been there several times in the past. Some of the staff is fantastic - like the girl who originally checked us in and Josh who was security in the evening.
The nickel and diming - there used to be free entry into the ghost town with an overnight stay and now half price. The coffee in the room is not great and the hotel doesn’t serve coffee until later in the morning - allowing one very small complimentary cup per person after that one has to pay over $3 a cup. The restaurant is overpriced and awful. Some of the staff were very grumpy.
Location, staff, garden, facilities were all great
Very hot evening. Could have used air conditioning
We have stayed at Three Valley Chateau many times and never been disappointed. The ghost town, vintage cars and trains are super cool. Amazing views from every room. The hotel is a true to its origins as a family friendly place with ping pong, foosball and an awesome pool that give families opportunities to connect instead of being on their phones.
Be aware that the hotel does not have air conditioning. Fans are provided that do the trick.
Being right next door to the Old Ghost Town. If into photography at least 2.5 hours required. So much to see. Our room had a lovely outlook.
Alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Laut.
The Three Valley Lakes Chalet is a beautiful hotel it is like stepping back into the twenties of leisurely lifestyle. The location is second to none. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The restaurant has great food and the staff are friendly and efficient. We were treated like favourite family members. There is no air conditioning but the breeze off the lake made sleeping comfortable and we certainly did not feel a need for one. The adjacent ghost town is amazing and needed more than the couple of hours we could devote to exploring it. We will definitely be back when travelling westward again.
That we were only there for one night.

Beautiful location. Comfortable room and bed. So much to see and do!
Wow it’s an interesting place and so unique. The design and gardens and lake front are so nice. The staff are so lovely and friendly as well as welcoming and helpful. It’s a great place for a family as there is everything there for a days activity on the lack beach or in the heated pool inside. The rooms are tastefully decorated and well maintained and cleaned. Bear in mind this is an older style building with challenges of location and facilities.
There was nothing I didn’t like it really has to be visited for history’s sake. I hope people aren’t put off by the lack of WiFi in rooms and air con. It’s a treat to visit somewhere like this.
Ghost town was cool. It's a unique place!
The cost was high for a pretty outdated, basic room.
Nice room, property is a bit tired and could do with updating.
Restaurant facilities
the room was clean, the beds were comfortable,, the view was awesome, amazing, beautiful, the location was easy to find, easy access to Revelstoke, staff was very friendly and helpful
there was no air conditioner,, no ironing board,
Mountain view was incredible
The room I rented cost $260 a night but wasn't worth more than $200 a night. There was nothing special there, TV wasn't working properly and poor signal. The the Leisure areas are very outdated.
Hotel molto particolare e posizione speciale. La ghost city di fianco è una bellissima sorpresa
Andrebbe rinnovato un po’, soprattutto le camere, la nostra aveva un odore sgradevole. Ristorante caro rispetto alla qualità del cibo
The cool old-time Architecture, 70’s decor, interesting history and ghost town to explore next door, the beautiful scenery, convenient location with convenience store and restaurant for road tripping.
Road traffic noise. Bed pillows need updating
Scenery was absolutely fantastic.
Great charm and atmosphere. View from room was incredible! Lots of family entertainment.: indoor pool, pool table, ping pong table, fooseball . Great beach. Lots of room for kids to run around. Ghost town was awesome. Gift shop very reasonably priced.
Did not know about family rooms when booking. Would have been half of what I paid for two rooms. Restaurant was expensive, limited choices and really, not that good. Only ate one dinner and one breakfast there.
It’s a beautiful location and lake view is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay
No breakfast compared to the charges
It was an all over great experience
Nothing
So much to do right on site. Pool was fun. Restaurant had yummy food. Thought the room would be noisy but it was quiet.
A bit pricey. Cafeteria options could be better.
We love the historic hotel and the breathtaking location!
There is no air conditioning so we would only visit certain times of year. Also the beds were not super comfortable. You can sleep on them but they are a bit hard.
Its history and the ghost town, the grandchildren found it so interesting and thought they were staying in a castle. And they lived Rusty ! Its location to the Enchanted Forest and Sky Trek were great for the kids.
Maybe the rooms need a little updating, but really as a whole it was wonderful and we especially found the reception staff, the gift shop staff and all the restaurant staff very friendly.
We very much enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful location. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Due to its location in a narrow valley there can be noise from the highway, not so much inside but being outside in the garden or by the lake.
Great place. Charming. Rooms and beds very comfy. We really enjoyed or stay! Thank you.
All was good.
The building and gardens were fabulous
Dusty in some corridors and stairways for my asthma - but understandable. I visited the ghost town, but dusk got to me unfortunately.
Beautiful location and concept, interesting museum nearby - worth visiting with the hotel discount. Nice views from the balcony. Very nice garden in the courtyard.
A bit rundown. Steep stairs to the loft bedroom. A bit noisy from the highway one side and railway on the other.
Had this hotel not existed, it should be made up. When you come here, you are honoured to be a part of its story. The staff is great and shows great care for the place. There is nice energy all around. Rooms are clean. The Ghost town is located right here on its territory - it is a must to visit place in Revelstoke. It feels like this place takes you back in time and welcomes you to most interesting pages of British Columbia history .
We did not get to use the pool, as it was quite loud inside, you can also hear some noise from the highway
Nice place to stay. Had some retro vibe with it.
I always wanted to stay here. Paddle boarding on the lake would have been wonderful.
It was raining so paddleboarding wasn't in the cards
Très propre vue sur le jardin exceptionnel
Je trouve la nourriture ordinaire pour le prix
Beautiful property
We stayed in room 316 B, larger balcony, clean room, there was a fridge, fan, good room service, beautiful views and kids loved the warm pool and games.
No wifi, TV very poor picture quality but we didn't need it anyway, the dinning is over priced for the food quality.
An old school motel, full of charm, in a lovely setting and with great staff. But the real gem is the historic ‘ghost’ town , which guests can visit for only $9 as many times as they want. It is a true one of a kind, with 30+ buildings to explore. We could have spent a lot more time there.
WiFi is a bit patchy but we were warned about this.
Friendly staff
No internet or cable. A little old and worn.
Unique location Nice gardens
Dated
Comfortable beds, incredible view from window and balcony, fridge available. Great for a 1 night stay perhaps even a weekend. The ghost town next door is really interesting! I recommend it for any history lovers. Be sure to tell the staff there that you’re staying at the chateau because you’ll get 50% off. I didn’t know this and went there first but the lady in the hotel very kindly refunded us. The staff were all very polite.
The TV looks like it’s from 2002, the quality is terrible! Very outdated but that’s not why I came here.
Hotel was outdated and tired. Mattress not comfortable has outlived it’s lifetime.
Overpriced for what they provided.
It is picturesque, ideally located, a building with character, easy to access and is staffed by people who are pleasant and always willing to try to help you with any problem or issue that you may have. The historical village next door and part of the hotel is a valuable and extraordinarily worthwhile attribute.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The restaurant was amazing, and the dinner was truly exceptional. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish, and the staff were very accommodating with our late check-in, which we greatly appreciated. The view was breathtaking, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was cozy, peaceful, and relaxing. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to everything we needed during our stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway.
The only areas that fell short of our expectations were the breakfast and the beds. While the breakfast was decent, it was not quite what we expected based on the overall quality of the hotel experience. The beds were also softer than we prefer, though we recognize that mattress comfort is a matter of personal preference and may suit other guests perfectly.
The staff is friendly. Everything looks decent.
The breakfast is a bit pricy.
It was fun all the small things on the property.
Food was bland. Small portions
We love the location.
Breakfast was ok Friendly staff
More of a menu. Having more options for food When restaurant is closed
Very cool hotel. Lots of rooms, we booked two different ones a loft suite and 2 queen room. Both were nice. Great views in loft suite of East and West with lake view. Balcony on entrance floor.
The only thing that would scare me would be mid summer heat and no air conditioners. TV’s don’t work very well ( Very fuzzy snowy pictures ) as I think the hotel is fed off one coax cable and split 200 times.
Comfortable room. Awesome View and the best Location!
The grounds and the ghost town where fantastic
The halls can be a bit confusing
Absolutely LOVED our stay here! There was so much to see and do and the ghost town was much more of an immersive museum than expected. My kids also loved the sand pit area and the ship playground as well as the train ride! The rooms and building itself were clean and comfortable. The rooms were a good size and the view was spectacular! We will definitely be making our way back for another trip soon. The staff were all very friendly and polite. 10/10 would definitely recommend for a family trip to remember!
Location was incredible and over all it felt like its own little world while we stayed. The bathroom was also the cleanest I’ve ever seen for a hotel room! Beds were super comfortable too. My husband and I loved that each room had a balcony so that we could “sneak away” at night to hangout while the kids slept without disturbing them.
Truly the only downfall was how hot the room got! However that’s our own fault for booking during a heat wave. Would love to visit in the fall!
Location is perfect. The kayak rental was great. The hotel is weird but in a good way. It was clean and it was what I expected it to be.
Would be nice to get Netflix or something on the TV. Would have been cool if the arcade worked.
I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony attached to our room. You get such a beautiful view of the lake. I also had so much fun venturing through time exploring the museum on site. Would definitely stay here again!
We were a little confused with the cafeteria didn't know were to go and how to get things that weren't out and was listed on the back bored but other then that good
The fitted sheet was to small and would just keep coming up
Location
Food and service terrible in restaurant.
View, location
Loved the maze like nature. Wanted to explore the grounds, but too much rain.
The rooms were a little dated.
