Good
Very clean. Pool and bar are nice. Breakfast food was good! Something different every morning. Alot of construction work on the main road.
Had a lovely stay. Location great, amenities are fab and the staff were lovely. Would stay there again.
Staff are wonderful and very friendly
Fantastic property and ideal location. Excellent staff
A jewel in Bangkok's crown. A great location forr many of the city's attractions, but more importantly, just a really really great team. Everyone at Casa Nithra was friendly, welcoming, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Great facilities from the on site breakfast to the rooftop pool. I was travelling alone and every memeber of staff couldn't have been more helpful with all my constant questions of how to get around and what to see. A big thank you to everyone - I'll definitely see you on my next trip to Bangkok.
Excellent location. The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms are beautiful. Great for a solo traveler who enjoys doing the hop on hop off ferry boats to get around and see all the sites. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Nithra. The double room was a perfect size for me. It was clean and had a good selection of toiletries. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable making for a good nights sleep. However, as my room was on the 5th floor there were times I could hear the plumbing of the rooftop pool which woke me up as I’m a light sleeper. I also had a few minor issues with loose plug sockets and slow water draining in the bathroom. The balcony was small and looked over a construction site and some local houses. I loved the rooftop pool which was small but reasonably deep but it can get a bit noisy when there are many people out there. There is significant construction currently ongoing on the road in front of the hotel so there is a lot of dust in the air and it doesn’t look the most appealing outside. Transport wise, you’re best getting the ferry into town (approx. 15min walk to the pier from the hotel) or getting Grab taxis. There’s a bus stop less than 5mins from the hotel but I couldn’t figure out how to use the service. The staff are friendly, I felt very welcome when I checked in and they always make the effort to greet you when they see you. They were also very accommodating and were quick to respond to requests.
Place close to restaurants and Sam Sen Road. It convenient located to shopping and massage centers.
Friendly stuff, great quality and location for the price.
Good stay. AC was working weirdly but not a big problem. Road construction going on in front of the hotel although it wasn’t noisy
It located close the Khoa San street. Staff very friendly and kind. The only negative points were the towels; they are old, and construction site just in front of the hotel.
Cleanliness and staff are super. Awesome service at the front desk. Rooms are ok, clean. Pool was nice with a little bar. The only 2 cons: 1) we stayed below the pool on the fifth floor and could hear a lot of pool noises at night. 2) construction in front of the hotel makes things really difficult, you can’t really walk to places, hardy for cabs to get to you. But I know it’s not the hotels fault so just keep in mind!
okay
Good
Great place to stay but AC in the room was powerful enough, room was hot most of the time
Loved this hotel. Easy access to everywhere you could ever want to go. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. You won’t find better at this price point.
Very nice hotel not too far from Khaosan Road area but away from the noise of the bars. Lots of choice for breakfast. Rooftop pool was a bonus..nice to cool off in late afternoon. Unfortunately there were major road works going on outside so there was a bit of noise from the site.
Amazing staff and beautiful hotel. Lots of construction in the area but walking distance to Kha Son night market
Broken air conditioner, had to ask for fan. Outside unpleasant and barely walkable with recent construction. Pool was nice.
A lot of construction out front making it look unappealing but inside was like walking into another world that was lovely and quiet.
We loved our stayed as casa nithra! It’s within walking distance of many temples, khao San road and rumbuttri area. Make sure you get the breakfast it was delicious. Our room was basic but very clean and had a balcony. The pool area was also very nice for an afternoon cool down. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Really awesome place! Staff was super friendly and everything was top notch!
Perfect stay! Friendly staff and great price
The location is good, closed to the main attractions. The room was comfortable and breakfast was the best with international options. Staff is great !
Too much construction and noise. Great staff
We left the property within 10 minutes of arrival. The washing machine was broken. The air conditioner was not turning on with the remote. I sat down on the stained sofa to contact the manager about this things and bugs started crawling all over the arm rest of the sofa and on me. Left the space and ask for a refund. Have not heard back. This is completely unacceptable.
Nice clean hotel with many attractions within walking distance. Amazing breakfast with a nice rooftop pool.
The hotel is old and worn, but overall they do a great job at upkeep. This was the best location for our family. Walkable to most shopping and a quick ride to other attractions.
The hotel and the staff were amazing!! Very welcoming and helpful. We included the breakfast to our booking and I can’t recommend it enough; a wide variety of options (including traditional Thai food like curry, noodles, etc.) that change every day, soooo delicious and packed with fresh fruit too!! Coffee was also amazing!!! Unfortunately, there is a construction going on at the moment so sometimes it gets loud specially at night but fortunately our room was on the other side of that street so it was not a problem for us. Also due to the construction the sidewalks are reduced and could be kind of hard to walk but just for a few blocks. On the other hand, facilities were good including a beautiful pool on the 6th floor. However, our room had a particular smell coming from the bathroom that appeared to be from the sewage and it was annoying because it got impregnated all over the room. We had to sometimes leave the balcony slightly open for it to vent out. Apart from that, we absolutely recommend staying at Casa Nithra!!! It is also near Kahosan Road (~12 min walking distance) and the Grand Palace and the National Museum (~25 min walking distance) so in our first day in Bangkok we decided to walk to get to know the area too and it did not disappoint. There is also a lot of dinning options nearby.
Was woken up every morning early by equipment sounds and chairs being dragged around by the pool. A constant dripping sound in the room. Breakfast food was great. Need a faster coffee machine. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Good stay! Thank you!
Great hotel, great location! Staff are lovely. Yes there's construction going on but that didn't affect our stay. Within walking distance to bars & restaurants as well as the sights. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely property with big spacious rooms. Very close to all the busy streets and also very easy to get taxi/tuk tuk from
Amazing and friendly staff. Short 10 minute walk to Khosan Road but far enough to not have all the noise! Breakfast is great here, second time I’ve stayed here and the rooms are beautiful. The air-con is great, it’s clean, tidy and they have roof top pool and bar which is perfect. Very happy!
Breakfast was awesome wuth lots variety. Front desk staff are always soo mice. Only negative is when someone closes their door to room its very loud.
We loved staying at Casa Nithra! There is construction around the hotel but we could not hear any of the construction from our room. Taxi’s and Tuk Tuk’s were able to pull in w/o issue. The breakfast was good! This hotel was in walking distance to everything- Khao San road, Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha, and Wat Arun pier.
Good
Amazing clean hotel with friendly staff!!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance of kao San road. Not far from temples
Very clean and excellent service good location but a. Lot inconvenient whit the road construction
Amazing hotel with great staff.
Great
Nice and clean rooms. Super friendly staff and very helpful. Good variety for breakfast. Only issue we had was taxis sometimes charged us extra to get back to hotel since it was a little outside of the centre. Current construction going around the hotel, but not much noise and they have good walkways around the area. 10 minute walk from the pier which is convenient for travelling around. Enjoyed our stay.
We really liked this little boutique hotel but it wasn’t very central for us or near the train but we enjoyed it and you take more in when you are walking
Reception was very helpful and great kindness;) Thanks very much for this time and I would like to see you guys next year water festival!!
Not bad but a little far from Khaosan Rd
Close to a construction site, very noisy, lots of bugs in the room, balcony door didn’t lock properly. Didn’t change bedroom linen.
Absolute hidden gem of a hotel! Yes there is building work going on right outside but you can't hear it in the hotel. Location - 10 minutes easy walk to ferry terminal. 5 minutes to 7 eleven. 2 minutes to massage shops & restaurants. Room - spacious, clean & comfortable Breakfast- varied (english/continental/asian) Pool - clean & nice views over city
Lovely room, friendly staff. Much needed rooftop swimming pool in the heat. Nothing to complain about
We stayed here for two nights. Overalls was okay. Nothing bad to say. Although it has the night market close by. Its about 10 minute walk. We had a lot of fun there. They are currently as construction going on.
Casa Nithra is a fabulous hotel in a great location. Even though there is currently some infrastructure construction taking place in the general area around the hotel, the hotel itself is a little oasis. The food in the restaurant is excellent, the rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet and the rooftop pool is wonderful. We’ve stayed here on three separate trips and each visit has not disappointed. Would definitely stay here again.
Staff were lovely. Loved the rooftop pool. Excellent buffet breakfast.
Good location, but there was construction work/road works outside that started early and finished late, this is not the fault of the hotel, just letting future residents know. They had a great breakfast spread and the receptionist were so lovely
Very good! I love this hotel. Greetings from Nikita and Sonya!
Always love my stay at Casa Nithra. Comfortable rooms at a reasonable price with a lovely rooftop pool and bar area. Close enough to KSR and Rambuttri area but far enough away to be quiet! Also close to Soi 4 and restaurants along the khlong. The only thing I would mention is the level of construction going on due to the new underground station they’re building, it’s a bit of a state and not ideal for anyone with mobility issues, but not much the hotel can do about that! Let’s hope it’s finished soon…
Lovely hotel with excellent service, on going road works didnt impact our stay. Loads of option's for good food, cofee and beers within 10 minute's walk of hotel.
Very convenient location, the metro construction is in front but couldn't here anything at night. Lots of shops around and walkable distance to Khao San road, would recommend this hotel.
Corridors smells and construction all around
Great location, staff very friendly and the pool is great to relax at!
Generally clean, but amenities are very limited. No washcloths in bathroom. Construction surrounding the area outside makes walking difficult. Rooms filled with all-night noisy backpackers smoking weed. The latter is to be expected on Khao San road. However we would certainly not consider staying here again at this price.
Nice hotel in central location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent and it starts at 6.30 which is a big plus for early birds like us Do keep in mind there's a construction of a metro station right outside the property and it is ongoing 24/7. You can ask for a quiet room, but it will still be noisy and it's everywhere. We knew about it in advance so not deducting rating to hotel as it's clearly outside of their control. Ear plugs fixed this inconvenience for us
Casa Nithra was a clean and relaxing oasis amidst the bustle of Bangkok. It was walkable to many historical sites. During my stay, there was major construction work right outside the hotel which made walking a bit more challenging, but the construction workers were friendly and helped visitors navigate.
Everything was great, except I didn't know they were putting in a subway in front of the hotel, so super noisy every morning...Besides that, staff was great, and room was perfect. It is a little out of way from everything, but I should have done more research on that, as I was there for business, not vacation.
Awesome room condition. Clean. Friendly staff
During my stay, Mr. Klom, who worked the night shift, was an absolute gem. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine concern for the guests' well-being left a lasting impression on me.
Great staff, very accommodating, lovely property, views from pool fab, breakfast worth the extra 7USD
Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Only one person working at front desk upon check in. No one to bring bags inside or up to the room. Building is older so the air is musty. Both of us woke up with a runny nose. Room's are very small. Wasn't necessary for us, but TV only broadcasted a few fuzzy antenna channels. No bathrobes. Relative to other Thai hotels, the service was very underwhelming. The 9/10 star rating is definitely deceptive. Do not believe that guests would have rated this hotel so highly.
Friendly staff in a lovely hotel. Couldn't ask for better service. Will definitely return.
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, super well located, the room sparkling clean, a lot of restaurant/cafe options. Will definitely come back.
The property itself was very clean and felt very safe to be in. The location was good in terms of tourist attractions to see nearby, however the location itself in general wasn’t very appealing. Hotel looked newer and clean but everything surrounding was very run down and older.
Do not fo there, major construction work being done outside hotel. If not, would be a great stay.
Wonderful staff and very clean hotel.
This is not a 4 star property! 2 at most - the entire area around the hotel is under major infrastructure construction and there is no information about that in the booking info. The whole area just felt undesirable The property was in tired shape- the photos are very strategic and make it look way better than it is We arrived late and front desk staff were not friendly Beds were terribly uncomfortable, shower was not great looking so didn’t use, towels were not nice - furniture had seen better days and there was just a musty smell to the whole hotel we just couldn’t stay there for two nights so found a new hotel and checked out early Contacted Expedia to facilitate a refund for our second night but the hotel denied the refund. Overall a terrible experience. Do not stay here -
I recently stayed at the Casa Nithra Hotel and had an average experience. The hotel is a bit old and could use some updating, but my room was clean and comfortable enough for my short stay. However, the ongoing street construction outside made the location less desirable, and it was quite noisy during the day. I was also surprised to see some 5-star reviews here, as my experience did not quite match up to their glowing reviews. Perhaps they had different expectations or were not affected by the construction noise. Overall, I would recommend Casa Nithra as an average option for a short stay, but be aware of the ongoing construction and adjust your expectations accordingly.
There was a doorman, which made me feel safe and welcome. The only bad thing was there was construction happening on the road so it was hard to find at first, and it was fairly loud.
My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in April and we absolutely loved it. Our room was spotlessly clean and the location is great, within 10 minute walk to Khao San Road or quick taxi to other attractions. Staff are also super friendly and helpful, would definitely return!
Loved our stay here. Close proximity to the river and some of the temples. Small rooftop pool made it a great spot to return to to cool off for a minute before heading back out. Super comfortable bed as well!
the location was good and a walking distance from khaosan and grand palace etc the hotel itself was clean, however, it’s disappointing that we weren’t informed about the construction right outside the hotel which went on 24hours which meant we couldn’t get much sleep. It’s not their fault that there was construction but it was their responsibility to inform the guests so we could have made alternative arrangements ahead of time
We enjoyed our stay. Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Thank you!
A new subway line is being constructed just outside the hotel, but we were only there for one night and were not bothered by any noise. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a welcome tea and for our return trip to the main airport they helped us to arrange an early morning taxi for only 600 Baht. Overall, nice hotel and no issues even though there is major construction in the area.
Great pool, but it's not kept clean. Someone on staff needs to strap on a pair of swimming goggles and swim underwater in this pool in to see some of the disgusting stuff floating around in it. I saw structures that looked like giant dust bunnies comprised of human skin and hair floating well under the surface. Really disgusting, but I doubt anyone would ever see them from outside of the pool. The pool was not heavily used while I was there, so I'm guessing that detritus has been in it a long time and that whatever filtration system they're now using is insufficient by itself. I don't think this should be a tough problem to fix, but unfortunately, no one is checking up on whomever is in charge of keeping the pool clean.
The staff was great and very helpful.
The front desk staff are what makes this hotel extra special. The hotel is clean, sound proof trendy rooms. The breakfast is definitely worth the additional purpose. Have stayed in the hotel 5+ times and it really is exceptional every time.
Facilities were clean and efficient. Staff were service oriented and pleasant.
After a long travel day check in was a breeze. Comfortable room to rest, nice rooftop pool, and lots do do and see in the surrounding area.
Stayed here before back in 2019 and The Casa Nithra was lovely then and it's still lovely now. It's a boutique hotel about 10 minutes walk from the Khaoson Road . The rooms are fine and the breakfast is good but the dining chairs are built more for comfort than functionality as dining chairs. They are too heavy and too low but the close proximity of the tables makes for very sociable dining if you like that kind of thing. The sun beds around the pool are also not the most comfortable and the pool surrounds definitely need some anti-slip mats as when it's wet it resembles an ice rink! The staff are lovely and the rooms are serviced every day. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are fine. All in all I would definitely stay at the Casa Nithra again.
Cute room, very clean property. Disappointed that the rooftop bar and the restaurant were not open.
The property is great the breakfast was yummy! There's plenty of shopping within walking distance.
We stayed at Casa Nithra in 2019 and again in January 2023. It’s in a great location, within walking distance of Khao San Road and many excellent restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Great rooftop pool. What makes it extra special to us is the quality of food served in the restaurant. Our room rate included breakfast and it was delicious with good variety every day! Unfortunately, I think due to Covid and the fact so many businesses are still recovering, the restaurant was not open for dinner on this trip. Hopefully it will open again in future for dinner as the food here is superb.
Pool bar closed
Great little hotel in great part of Bangkok
The hotel is nice but they have no restaurant as advertised No tour desk as advertised No room service no working fridge in your room Food was very average House keeping was terrible only 1 time over 4 nights was my room cleaned until I complained Front safest manager Colton was very good
Beautifull and clean hotel with very polite and helpful staff! 👌
I stayed here for 2 night with no staff clean up the room even I turn the light at door up. The receptionist said she forget.
Other than breakfast, which I didn’t try, there were no food or drink options at all. So perhaps better described as a B&B rather than a hotel. All the staff were very nice with the exception of one receptionist. When I arrived tired and hungry in the evening, I asked her if it was possible to get anything to eat and she said no, nothing. When I went to my room, it was 35c in there. The electrics, including the AC needed a key card to function, so I went back to ask if I could have a second one so that I could leave the AC on to make the temperature bearable while I went out to find food. She said no, they didn’t have any spare cards, but I could try asking again the next day. I explained that this was not acceptable for a “luxury four star hotel” and an extra key card magically appeared. A similar thing happened when the safe in the room didn’t work. After the maintenance guy couldn’t fix it, I called down to ask if I could put my valuables in the safe at reception. They said, no we don’t have one but they would swap my room safe the next day. I said OK, then please can you change my room and then a safe at reception suddenly materialised. On thé upside, once it cooled down, the room was very comfortable, if a little tired. Nice bed and linens, a lovely deep bathtub, which cost a little extra but was well worth the money. The rooftop pool and sun loungers were great with plenty of nice big towels. Once fully reopened, this will be a lovely place to stay.
GREAT hotel- very clean, attentive and helpful staff, the breakfast was AWESOME!!!
Lovely room with excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Location a bit far for walking to tourist attractions, and not near the BTS stations in modern Bangkok.
Properly was modern and clean. Roof top pool was nice although drinks were very over priced. 2 comes 140bath when there 18 each at the 7/11 next to the hotel.
