The pool area was very nice, but too quiet during the day. No pool games or contests besides water aerobics to get the guests involved.

In general the stuff was pleasant (not pleasant at the front desk!). The beach was nice.

Food and drinks are of a very low quality and not enough variety. We reserved a Sea View. We had a bungalow in front of us, so there was no "Sea View" for us. The shower was in a bad condition.

Courteous staff specific to restaurants and room keeping who enjoyed having visitors. Sit down restaurants to get served from and off the menu with option for buffet style to get self-service. Coffee with barista available through out the day.

Water leakage in the room from ceiling. Spotty Wifi in the room (forget about it on the areas on the property). Up charge for mistake on the booking.com reservation.

Bedden bij zwembad. Je moest heel vroeg opstaan omdat iedereen zijn handdoek al neerlegt bij zwembad. Echt niet gezond en zeker voor zo'n resort niet positief.

El lugar es precioso, aunque me impresionó negativamente la poda de árboles! El personal no tenía conocimiento alguno! La amabilidad de los empleados!

La humedad de la habitación era insoportable. Se humedecieron medicamentos y ropa. Entraba aire por el ventanal y la puerta de la habitación no cerraba bien! El World Cafe está muy a trasmano… considerando lo retirado que está de la playa a la hora del almuerzo. El Mari tiene una carta muy restringida . He estado el otros resortes y todos tienen un buffet cerca de la playa muy completo y variado.

Me encantó todo desde la entrada hasta la salida todos fueron muy amables el servicio de desayuno comida y cena fue grandioso lo amé totalmente y tanto que traeré a mis hijos pronto para que también lo disfruten ❤️

No me gustó el comportamiento de unos de los empleados de la compañía a la cual le pagué para que me llevaran al aeropuerto actuó muy mal como para una persona que trabaje con clientes y fue muy falta de ética que comentara sobre la situación con otros empleados hablando de cómo él no es sirviente de nadie que yo tenía que estar atenta a mi bus después que él mismo me dijo que esperara en el lobby que tan pronto llegara él me buscaría y después fue todo lo contrario. Pero aparte de eso definitivamente yo volvería 👏🏼

Everything is very clean. The best thing is the service provided by the staff, these people are very polite and respectful they go above and beyond to assist. I love that I was seeing young teens eating and having ice cream without adult supervision. There are plenty of things to do for adults, there's a club, upscale restaurants, and an amazing spa.

The sales to join some type of membership are very aggressive.

Had to pay double thanks to booking.com and Hyatt not being able to communicate effectively

Family friendly

Poor customer service. Restaurants were not all available unless you upgraded room. Food not very good and mostly buffet only. Room service took very long time, sometimes in excess of an hour. A lot of construction and equipment issues, example our elevator would not work at times and multiple power failures, did not last long but multiple time a day. Overall not a good value for money, especially at the rates they are charging. Would not stay again.

Many "all inclusive" resorts are MOSTLY all inclusive... Hyatt Dreams truly meets the high bar of "All Inclusive"... AND we did upgrade to a CLUB room which entitles us to access a private lounge with some food, computer access and top branded liquor. (Although they didn't have the Crown Royal bourbon I prefer)... The resort is children friendly and we did have our 8 year old grandson in our family group. He was in kiddie heaven.

What's not to like at an elegant resort like The Hyatt Dreams? However in the tropics they do have rain squalls and there were two days where the weather impacted an otherwise ideal holiday.

It is a fantastic property. The breakfast buffet is second to none.

I had a leak in the ceiling at the entrance way to my room. It was coming from either a plumbing pipe for the floor above or the air conditioning system. I brought it to the attention of front desk staff. They tried to rectify it but the leak was never resolved in the three days that I was there. Apart from that the property and my stay was great.

Clean and family friendly

Parts under construction. Rooms walls so thin that we could hear everything our neighbors were saying. It was like they were in the same room. The first room they put us in had a shared balcony instead of the private balcony I asked for. To make it worse the adjoining unit was under construction with construction equipment on the balcony. Asked to be moved and was moved to another building with a non working elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. Elevator was back on line later that evening. Multiple power failures during our stay. Non lasted long but there did not appear to be back up generators. When I initially asked to be moved I was told that the room in the building with the broken elevator was the only one available “ take it or leave it”. I had reserved two rooms at more than 4K USD for three nights all in. Not what I expect at that price point.

The entire place us beautiful.

The food is flavorless, the place is a tourist trap, it feels like once you're there you can't escape. The prices in the store there are outrageous, the prices for staying there are over the roof.

Everything I have found a new appreciation for the words all inclusive. Love it!

The food, location and staff were all excellent. The rooms were very clean and modern and comfortable.

Travelling for a wedding was a disappointment when you had to upgrade to premier access in an so called 'all inclusive' so you could meet friend for breakfast and afternoon snack/drinks. Even the kids could not meet at teh lazy river or flumes if not in a premier room, why would a resort do that to wedding and family parties. The drinks felt very watered down as well when drinking liquor mmmmmm!

Minden tökéletes volt! Álom naszutunk volt itt! A személyzet is nagyon figyelmes volt és mindenki beszélt angolul! Mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom!! Én már másodszor vagyok itt, de még visszajövök!

Az applikációban nem tudtunk foglalni a látvány főzőműsorra időpontot mert nem engedett be a rendszer illetve nem mindegyik étterem volt nyitva minden nap és így hiába akartunk volna ott enni nem voltunk ott annyi időt, hogy ez is beleférne meg az is.

Everyone was so friendly. It’s a huge property with lots of pools. The food is good, not great. Our room was clean. I wish the beach had been better. Water isn’t very blue.

Its the largest resort we've stayed in, so there was a lot more walking than I expected. I loved the fact that there are 5 different pool areas to choose from. Loved the lazy river. Loved the spa experience. Wish maybe 1 more eating area, considering the resort holds a lot of people. Also, maybe consider StarLink satelite for internet in the Prefered Lounge area would be nice.

Got injured on site and hotel staff referred us to an affiliated hospital that participates in tourist extortion and got charged Thousands of US Dollars for a minor procedure.

Upon arrival, we were escorted to our room which was flooded from recent rain. Staff called for cleaning and two women arrived. I asked to be relocated to another room as I was not about to have to deal with flooding should it rain again. Reluctantly, the escort brought us back to the check in desk.

Beautiful stay and not crowded. We went in September and the beach had lots of seaweed that the resort tried to manage. The food was great!

Beautiful property - need the tubs on the balconies changed, appear very old and stained. Then there are the very, very hard working staff - worked tirelessly to provide clean environment all the time. They were always very friendly, seeking to be of assistance. Dinning service staff were excellent as well. Overall, great property, awesome view and amenities

The food was great

The food/dining staff was exceptional. I didn't rate it a 5 star because I wish there were more dining options, however, the few that are available offer exceptional service. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.

We used Mexico Travel Solutions to pick us up from the airport and take us back to the airport. We had to wait about 40 minutes to get transported to the resort. Shuttle service was early waiting at the resort when we left, we used the shared shuttle. The resort was great. The beach could have been improved, there was alot of seaweed on the beach throughout our stay. Restaurants were good including the buffet. Rooms were big and nice. Overall great resort, we did not travel with children, but we felt resort was very kid friendly with lots of activities for children.

A Deep Decline in Quality – Our Worst Dreams Stay Yet After many pleasant stays at Dreams Resorts, our recent experience post-Hyatt acquisition was a letdown, especially on my 40th birthday. While the rooms remained clean and spacious, most staff appeared indifferent, and the overall experience was disappointing. Key Issues: 1. Lack of Poolside Food Service: A major oversight for a five-star resort, requiring inconvenient walks to the buffet or restaurants, especially with young children. 2. Poor Food Quality: Expectations were already low for all-inclusive dining, but the food was often bland or inedible, with long room service waits. 3. Misleading Views: The coveted ocean views in the lobby did not translate to restaurant locations, forcing us to dine indoors away from the scenery. 4. Unsafe Water Slides: Our daughters sustained injuries due to poorly designed splash areas, making them hesitant to enjoy the facilities. 5. Dirty Pools: The pools were poorly maintained; water was often cloudy, and there were hygiene issues noted by guests. 6. Deceptive Timeshare Offers: Timeshare pitches promised "preferred" areas which were disappointing and poorly maintained. 7. Excessive Noise: Loud music from events disrupted our evenings, making rest nearly impossible. 8. Unsafe Excursions: A snorkeling tour organized by the resort posed safety risks, with strong currents endangering guests. In summary, what was once a reliable choice for family vacations has sharply declined

Staff and service was great. Food was pretty good, not the best but there were a lot of good options. Hibachi/Fusion, seafood, and Mexican restaurants were the best. Did not try the French restaurant. The buffet was about what you would expect, but always had things that everyone liked. The property was a bit worn in a few places but it was made up for in cleanliness and service. Housekeeping was great in the room, they seemed to come by a couple times a day and always left the room very nice. We got the cheapest room but it was still very nice, it had everything we needed and a decent sized bathroom and shower. The pools were okay, the water level was a little low for some reason. There were enough pools that it never felt too crowded. The slides and lazy river were a big hit. Kids loved the smoothie bar and the lazy river was very relaxing. The beach was okay, not perfect but much better than riviera maya. You can actually enjoy the beach here. There were some spots with very little seaweed and clear water, but varied day by day. We did spend a couple hours each day at the beach, the beach bars were very convenient. The nightly shows were great and were enjoyed by both the kids and parents. Convenient location, about 45 minutes from the airport, and very close to excursions for Isla Mujeres. Water and beach area was nicer than the riviera maya area. The area felt very safe and secluded. I would recommend this resort to families with kids of all ages.

Everyone was wonderful! My husband lost his nice sunglasses at the airport and concierge helped him find a new pair that wasn’t 300. The kids area was perfect for my kids. We have a 3, 4, and 6 year old. Honestly, plan to book again which I never like to do to experience something new, but it actual gave me a break as a mom.

Need MORE shopping !! MORE places for all inclusive snacks. ice cream shop should NOT close at 10 pm. When theater shows end after 9:30 pm.

Great Resort…

Great ambiance, facilities, and hospitality.

Some of the more popular food options, such as the hibachi restaurant were not accessible. The reservation allotment was extremely limited with only a one hour window for securing a spot and nearly impossible to secure a reservation. As a result we did not get to try it out during our 5-day due to no availability. Also, there wasn’t strict enough enforcement of adult areas/amenities vs children. I understand this is a family friendly resort but often children monopolized many of the large pool areas to include the swim up bars. As an adult, I shouldn’t have to wait for children to clear the area to get a seat at the bar or a drink. They should not be permitted on the bar areas at the pool.

The facilities and dinning were great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed dinning in different restaurants every night. The food was outstanding. Lounging by the many pools and swim up bars were great. Romantic dinner on the beach was a great date night too.

Dreams Playa Mujeres had everything and more for a multi generational family trip we took. The facilities were fantastic and clean. Drink service continuous regardless of where you were. The food was 8/10. The beach was 8/10. There is a lot of walking because this is a big resort, so be prepared for that. Overall, I would recommend this resort again and again.

Wouldn’t return. Too many things need to be fixed. Had some great service from some workers, then some workers did absolutely nothing but ignore things. Food was ok. Places said open, most were closed while we visited. Kids club wasn’t planned out good at all your younger teens were with toddlers. Didn’t even use clubs due to them not wanting to do the baby things. Needs improvement with age appropriate things…. We had an ok time, just wouldn’t ever return.

The only complaint I have is that the lighting in the bathroom is very dim and there are no mirrors inside the room just in the bathroom. Besides that everything else was great.

Spacious property

The staff was very attentive to needs, they were always willing to reach out to offer assistance and provide support during your stay. No matter where you are at on the property, there is an enjoyable view. There are a lot of dining options some are better than others, all inclusive resorts are good on conscience but food could improve- would like to see more frozen beverage options for non-alcohol drinkers at pool bars that are fruit based. We did enjoy our stay! We will surely be back to Mexico!

For the price I paid, I expected more. The food and service were not great and the rooms were average. Food is very Americanized and restaurants close during certain hours. Would not stay here again.

Dreams was really nice! My room was nice. Loved the Bluetooth option in the bathroom and the shower. I only wished that they offered robes in the room. For the cost per night, I think that a robe would have given the added touch!

Beautiful place

Our trip started off on bumpy due to the number of large parties at the resort. This made getting into a restaurant for dinner almost impossible. Then we met Onell. Onell went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was not only perfect but also memorable. We have never met a staff member at a resort like Onell. He made sure our family had a perfect dinner every night. Not only did he make sure we had a fantastic dining experience but he also was physically present every evening to make sure all went smoothly. The entertainment staff was amazing. Luigi, Brayan, Antonio and Eduardo brought the fun every single day. They made sure our kids were involved even when there were many high school seniors participating. I cannot say enough about them. They were amazing.

Cleanliness could have been a little more consistent.

This was one of the best vacations I've been to in a long time. This resort was beyond beautiful. The attention to detail and the service was absolute perfection. starting as soon as you get off the bus and walk into the resort. Juan welcomed us with a margarita and then escorted us to the preferred club where we checked in. They have a beautiful bar and lounge area were you can sit, relax and get a bite to eat. The Suite was beautiful overlooking the whole resort and ocean views. They have great restaurants, entertainment (theater, club and bars). We will definitely come back for another stay.

Staff at front desk locked us out of our rooms without any communication/warning for “non payment”, due to THEIR MISTAKE by not taking a credit card at check in. One of our group was double charged and had to repeatedly go to the front desk without having the situation resolved satisfactorily. Rooms promised were not given. Front desk staff were very uncooperative. Other staff throughout the resort were wonderful!
