Room was beautiful, food was horrible

The food was absolutely horrible… only good food was the pool bar.

Had the best time participating in the tequila tasting today. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. I learned a lot and was able to taste several different tequilas and mezcals. I would love to do this again and if you have the chance I definitely recommend!!!

When we arrived at TRS CORAL August 22 to August 29. We were met by two outstanding Butlers; Oscar & Linda who were available to our every request 24/7.

It was our 1st time at TRS CORAL and we had an amazing experience. Our personal Butler Yessica is great and exceeded our expectations in terms of quality service. All the staff are also nice and accommodating. The restaurants, amenities, and services in this facility made our vacation worthwhile. This place made us feel that we were in paradise. Thank you for giving us great memories.

My wife and I spent an amazing week here June 20 - June 27. We didn’t want to leave! The property is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are huge and luxurious. There is so much to do between TRS Coral and the connected sister property Grand Palladium. It’s easy to get around since they offer boat rides and cart rides if you don’t feel like walking. The food there was hit or miss. Like many resorts we felt it was good not great. Our favorite restaurants were La Boheme (Manuel was great) and El Gaucho for dinner and Capricho for breakfast (Jair was fantastic). Shout out as well to Antonio at Tentazione. If we had lunch it was usually from the poolside bar/grill. We ordered room service a few times as well and it was always good. The room service attendants were great. The only restaurant we tried on the Palladium side was Sumptuori for the teppanyaki which was fun. We did go to the cafe (Piacere) on that side almost daily. The staff there are the best, especially Veronica. We also went to the gelato shop several times as well. If you’re into chocolate don’t miss the wall of chocolates at the lobby bar Aurum. There were lots of activities going on if you wanted to participate. The entertainment staff was amazing. Shout out to Michelle, Rueben, Alec, Rosy and Leonardo. Our favorite activities were painting classes and cooking classes. Chef Soto is so knowledgeable and an all around great guy. We did the boat ride called La Trajinera which was an add on activity for $25 per person but well worth it. We also enjoyed the open air theater several nights on the Palladium side. Our favorite show was the Noche Mexicana. The performers are all so talented, especially El Charro. The butlers were all very accommodating, especially Victor. A big thank you to Ulises for helping to plan a very special surprise birthday celebration! We didn’t feel we could give TRS a five star review for a couple of reasons. During check in we were told they would text us when our room was ready. We waited in the lobby for quite some time but no text. We finally went to the front desk and asked what the deal was. They told us oh yeah it’s ready. Not sure why we never got a text. Also it seems there was poor communication between the butlers and the entertainment staff which resulted in some confusion about whether reservations were needed for certain activities or not. During check out the person that checked us out never asked how are stay was. That’s a pretty common question and not asking it seemed like a lack of interest. Our biggest complaint was the thumping music every night until around 1:30 am coming from Gravity Bar. All in all it was a great vacation at a beautiful property that offered excellent service by incredibly warm and friendly people. Hard to say if we’d return with some many other great properties we haven’t tried in the Yucatán Peninsula.

My husband had water in his ear and needed medicine, Freddy took care of it on his day off and had the medicine delivered to our room. We felt so spoiled. We had a relaxing time, great breakfast at Capricho, waiter Martin was the best, all the resort staff were exceptional, Amelia was the best butler, hardworking and very thoughtful even filled mother in law room with balloons and a gift for her birthday, Daniel the driver as well as all the drivers and bar attendant and staff were excellent Food was good, not great, but a wonderful overall experience

Do not book here if want to have a relaxing vacation and are a person of color. You will be met with racism and have to continuously advocate for yourself to get basic accommodations such as dinner reservations, adequate towels/washclothes, clean bedding, and room service. They wanted to upcharge us because the room we booked was not available. Our butler cancelled our dinner reservations twice and lied about it to staff.

While we encountered a few hiccups and issues, the recovery of the staff more than made up for it. From our incredibly attentive butler (Jose) to the amazing pool attendants (Ladis and Julie) to the spa attendant ( Santiago) and the incredible restaurant staff (Raul) at El Gaucho and Tentazione, we had everything covered for us before we even knew we needed it. We’ve been to many resorts in Cancun, and this one is one that I can honestly say is return to. Highly recommend!!

When we arrived they gave the wrong room and we spoke to them about this they attempted to make us pay an additional $500 to change our room even she admitted to giving us the wrong room. We booked for two double beds but received one king. We then had to stay in the king bed room for two days until we could be moved to the correct moved. We were told that our bags would be brought to our new room. That was at 11:15 am, we went out for an excursion when we got back it was 6 pm and our bags still weren’t brought to our rooms. We had to go to the lobby and they acted as if they were confused. They cancelled our dinner reservations twice and we said something to them they told us that couldn’t fix it because the restaurants were all booked even they though canceled our reservation. We decided to have room service which was ordered at 2:00 pm and was not delivered until 5:15. All of the activities were booked. Food at the restaurants were served cold which leads me to believe that it wasn’t fresh. We were asked for tips. I do want to make it extremely clear that this hotel is not diverse at all. There was a lot of Hispanic travelers staying there who seemed to be treated as royalty but we were treated as a bother. During check out the supervisor laughed at us and said “you need to pay” when we paid for our trip in FULL when we booked it 3 months prior in April. This was my first time in Mexico and it so sad that this was my experience. Lastly the location is advertised to be Cancun but it isn’t. It located in Isla Mujeres. This is false advertisement.

Wanted to review our porter for our stay, because he was so great and deserves a good review. Freddy was very professional from the beginning and his experience there shows. He had wonderful recommendations for what to do and how to navigate the resort. He was also able to get us a reservation at a restaurant we really wanted that was booked. He was very accommodating and we so appreciate his help and guidance.

Soto the chef manager was so attentive, welcoming and personalizing his work. He knew my food sensitivities and made sure the chefs knew it when I came in. Chef Angel was great and the food was amazing: very fresh and well presented. Giovanny, the waiter, made the experience even more special. Made sure that all our requests were taken care of. At the end they prepared the tiramisu at our table. It’s yo die for.

The hotel overall was beautiful the few things that concern me worked out - no tv for 24hours, room change long delay to get our luggage but the overall experience was very nice - most of all my daughter was married there and the outcome was absolutely beautiful we are pleased.

The Loft Suite was beautiful, the resort was stunning, housekeeping kept our room immaculate with twice-daily service, and every staff member we encountered was warm and welcoming. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday getaway! The resort has a relaxing atmosphere with an acceptable noise level, making it easy to unwind while still enjoying the vibrant energy. There were also plenty of amenities and activities to enjoy throughout the stay. I highly recommend TRS Coral for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway.

We came to do a site visit before our wedding we are having here and had an incredible time. The hospitality was phenomenal. We met with Ale on the wedding team and instantly felt great about our decision to get married here. Any question we had she would immediately get the answer to. Special shout outs to multiple of our servers and bartenders throughout our stay. Erick at the beach bar, Mario at el gaucho, and PEDRO!!! Pedro was a huge highlight of our trip. He had great recommendations and went above and beyond for us each time he served us. The hospitality here really is fantastic.

We had the most incredibly relaxing babymoon at TRS Coral! Staying on the adults-only side was exactly what we needed before our new arrival. The service here is top-notch, and the staff was unbelievably attentive. A huge, special shoutout to our butler, Yessica, who took amazing care of us, and Lorenzo from the pool staff, who kept us comfortable all day. The food throughout our stay was delicious, and we absolutely loved getting fresh coconuts by the water. I also highly recommend the spa—the massage I got was absolutely great and a perfect babymoon treat. The only challenge was the intense weekend heat wave, which made walking and spending extended time outside a bit tough. However, the resort handled it beautifully by ensuring there was always plenty of hydration and fresh fruit available everywhere we turned. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more peaceful getaway. We highly recommend TRS Coral for anyone looking to unwind!

This was our second stay here, and once again, it was an amazing experience. The property is beautiful, and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to our butler, Jimmy, who went above and beyond. He promised he would find us a dinner reservation even when none were available, and he delivered. He even came to the pool to let us know as soon as he secured one for us, which we really appreciated. Our bellman, Santiz, was also incredibly friendly and helpful. When we were checking out, he patiently waited while we finished getting ready and then helped bring all of our luggage to the front. The exceptional service from both Jimmy and Santiz made our stay even more memorable. We can't wait to come back!

Our dinner at El Gaucho was absolutely incredible. Every dish was perfectly cooked and full of flavor—it was honestly one of the best meals we’ve had during our honeymoon. And compliments to Chef Soto for creating such an unforgettable dining experience. The food was exceptional, and every bite showed passion and attention to detail. First of all Chef Soto at the various restaurants was amazing and so accommodating. He made our dinners extra special. We stayed at TRS Coral for 8 days and all dinners were so good!

Staff were sometimes sloppy and forgot to do things. Some facilities were poorly maintained. The hotel didn’t really deliver on the luxury 5 star level experience we expected.

We visited TRS Coral at Palladium in Costa Mujeres Mexico. It was fun, relaxing, and beautiful! All the staff were friendly and accomadating to our needs. Our room was exquisite! The wrap around balcony was amazing with a georgeous veiw. Our butler in building 2, 2nd floor, was Victor. He was very friendly and accommodating to our needs! The POP activities were so much fun! Directors for the activities, Rosie, Leonardo, Alec, and Chef Soto were fantastic! The cart drivers that we got to know were Jose' and Alec, but all the cart drivers were great! I hope to come back again one day!

TRSCoral is a really good hotel, people there are really amazing on service, starting from the girl at the check in and continue with carmen and ulices at the swimming pool service, Raul the captain in tentazione and Ana at the french restaurant the boeme are really good staff, hotel is really nice overall and the service is the best, only bad thing i saw was the chic cabaret i went to trsturquesa in DR and the show there was really amazing comparing the one in trscoral, or maybe after seeing that in DR my expectations were to high and both shows are good, food was really good too and the drinks, i recommend this hotel 100%

We had a few problems with the shower. The hot water wasn't working, and that cause us a bit of problems due to commitments.

We didn’t have any hot water for a day and a half, and we had to have somebody come out and fix that and then the showerhead itself had a bunch of green gunk all over it like it had never been changed out or cleaned. Very gross

ELADIO the butler was Magnificient.OMG where do i start. Ive stayed at the Riu Resorts,Hiltons& Secrets but no resort Personal service has been as Great. Eladio treated us like royalty. Decorated our room for my b.day,Supplied us with floats for our swimout pool. Made us reservations for restaurants and more.All of the TRS associates were all so friendly,so kind.The room attendants were fabolus turn down service everynight. Fresh towels day&night. R oom service great also. Eladio needs to be promoted to Manager. Again he was Magnificient. TRS please reward him and your whole staff. Thank you all for a Wonderful Bday& Wedding Anniverasy. Loved the entertainment (dancers), the patio, the location on the beach, and beach umbrellas. Food was good. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Only issue was getting transportation from the airport, which was my own fault since I didn't research that. I felt there could have been a bit more of a heads up from the hotel though.

We will not be returning to TRS. We had some good workers, but felt overall the workers hated their job and hated us. We would tip well, but often times were still ignored and treated as burdens.

I cannot understand any negative reviews for this hotel. Firstly the staff are exemplary they go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The butler service is really good they are extremely helpful and friendly. Restaurants La Boheme is Michelin star quality also Gaucho and Tentazione are pretty good too. Breakfast at Caprichio and lunch at Helios I would highly recommend. Waiter service around the pool and they even serve you down on the beach. Mango Tango cocktail from the lady at the beach bar is a must. The rooms are beautiful we had a junior suite with ocean view. Trips are quite expensive but Tulum, cenotes and snorkel with turtles is a great experience. We got the boat over from the beach to Isla Mujeres which is well worth a visit and a snorkel stop on the way back. All in all a fantastic hotel with great attention to detail.

La atención de todo el personal, sobre todo nuestros mayordomos Óscar y Frida, han sido maravillosos. En especial Frida, tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente en el spa y gestionó de maravilla una compensación. La comida fabulosa en todos los restaurantes, mención espacios al chef Esparza en el japonés que nos atendió fabulosamente. No hay aglomeraciones en los bares y restaurantes.

En la zona del TRS solo hay una piscina y a veces por aglomeraciones o cuando ha algún momento de actividades o músicas hay exceso de ruido, sería genial una zona de piscina más ‘tranquila’

I loved my butlers!! Jimmy and Benjy were AMAZING! I felt safe, taken care of and valued! As a solo traveler, there was never a time where I didn’t feel safe. Every employee I encountered was genuine and friendly, transportation ran very often and quick seating/service at restaurants. Entertainment was also great! I will be staying here again!!

Overall, my stay at TRS was disappointing and did not meet expectations for the level of accommodations advertised. The check-in process was extremely slow, and the overall experience lacked consistency with what was promised. The property itself appeared old, worn, and only superficially cleaned. Cleanliness throughout the resort was below standard, including the swim-up area, which did not feel properly maintained. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room was not cold enough, making the stay uncomfortable. Customer service was also lacking. Most staff members were not friendly or engaging, and interactions often felt unwelcoming. Very few employees smiled or made an effort to create a positive guest experience. Unfortunately, this was not a good overall experience, and I would not recommend or consider returning based on the quality of the accommodations, cleanliness, and service received.

This was our second stay at TRS Coral. Highlights were the Spa, both the experience and the staff were top notch and worth it. Favorite restaurant is El Gaucho, our waiter went out of his way to make it special for our anniversary and food was great. Thoroughly enjoyed Chic Cabaret as a great night out. Some of the food at the other restaurant were average but understandable as it's a buffet at times. Great experience with the butlers as they did a great job communicating and moving around reservations last minute.

TRS Coral was a great experience. The amenities are nice but the staff really made this place stand out. We attended Chef Soto's ceviche class with Leo as the activity director and it was a riot. The rest of our stay Chef Soto was so attentive when seeing not only us but others he recognized it was a great touch. Oscar at Gaucho was the absolute best during our private dinner. I will one hundred percent be back thanks to Chef Soto and our butler Sofia who really made us feel special during our trip.

The resort is mediocre at best. The food is below average and the service is mid. The staff were friendly and our butler was great and very attentive. The waiters and service staff seemed to cater more to a certain demographic while ignoring others. Our swim up pool was very disappointing as it was full of bird feces, as well as the wall surrounding it. They have huge iguanas all over the property therefore, if you’re not a reptile fan, this is not the place for you.

We had our wedding here and it was the most amazing experience. Everything was so perfect and we felt completely taken care of.

Leaving TRS coral after a 2 night stay. Beautiful resort and grounds. We loved the adult only vibe of this hotel. We had a great check in experience with Priscilla and room was upgraded due to my diamond status with Wyndham to a swim up room. It was spectacular. Probably the most beautiful room I have ever stayed in. The swim up pool connected to room was a prefect place to enjoy room service breakfast and have a morning dip and start the day right. And a great place to cool down at night long after the main pool closed. We had great service at the main pool from Brayan. He remembered us and our drink order. We purposely sat in his area both days because the service was spectacular. The food was not amazing but that's to be expected at all Inclusives. What was most frustrating was the reservation system ot lack there of. The butler service wasn't very helpful and the website would say places were open and you'd show up and they were actually closed. Our favorite meal was at portofino on the grand palladium side. If looking for a truly relaxing adult getaway TRS Coral is the spot

My sister and I had a wonderful and very restful stay at TRS Coral. After a very hectic time in our lives, this was exactly the relaxing getaway we needed. The grounds were beautiful, the restaurants were excellent, especially El Gaucho, the Argentinian steakhouse, and all of the staff, from the grounds crew to the waiters and waitresses, were warm and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, very quiet, and well maintained, with the mini-fridge stocked daily. Housekeeping did a great job, and the resort overall felt very clean and peaceful. This area, just north of Cancun, is lovely, with a nice walkable beach and calm atmosphere. There was quite a bit of seaweed along the shore, but I think that is typical for this time of year. The highlight of our trip was definitely our butlers, Jimmy and Ben. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and helped make our stay so enjoyable. As much as we loved the resort itself, they were a huge part of what made the trip special for us. The only downside was the upselling at check-in. We were encouraged to upgrade our room (which we declined) and were later invited to attend a “short” breakfast presentation through the Travel Club in exchange for spa savings. After hearing from another guest that it was much longer than presented, we decided to cancel. Other than that, we had an absolutely wonderful experience and came home feeling rested and recharged.

Beautiful resort. Really enjoyed our time here. We stayed first week of May 2026 and would recommend. The grounds are lovely and feel like a proper tropical paradise. Food was good, drinks at pool could be better but the bars were nice. Room was lovely and the balcony was huge. We were on the 1st floor in a junior suite, always kept clean by housekeeping. We used the butler to book reservations on the 1st day for the whole week. No issues. The Indian and the Japanese at the Grand Palladium side were really great. Thoroughly enjoyed. Ironically the Mexican was our least favourite, but still no complaints. Buffets were great. Golf buggies and boats if you needed them to get around but we mostly walked. We made a good effort to get round all the bars, food places.

We werden heel netjes ontvangen, elke dag werd onze kamer schoongemaakt (dit kon zelfs 2 keer per dag), het hotel bood de perfecte combinatie van rust en activiteiten. Als kers op de taart beschikten we over twee persoonlijke butlers die enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam waren (Jimmy en Benjy)

We had a really great stay. The staff were terrific, in particular our butlers Freddy Abrego and Rita Garcia. We celebrated a birthday and Freddy decorated the room and provided us with sparkling wine. It was truly fantastic. Rita was very kind and helpful at all times. Muchas Gracias!
