Pool was big , clean , Beach was very nice
Sweets was the only not tasty and less than medium quality
We had a wonderful experience at the hair salon. A special thank you to Aishe and Melisa for their highly professional and friendly service. They were attentive, skilled, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Their attention to detail and warm attitude truly stand out. I am very happy with the results and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
Perfect family vacation 😊 the location, the food, facilities- pool, aqua park, kids playground everything is perfect. The staff is very nice too. We absolutely recommend Royal Dragon Hotel and we will come back next year 🙂
It was nice and big room with sea view , big shower , enough space for your clothes on the shelfs. Big balcony, big tv, extra couch. You had everything there what you need.
Temiz, düzenli. deniz, havuz ve su parkı oldukça iyi. Çocuklar için eğlenceli. Odalar geniş.
Kalabalık zamanlarda içecek barlarında tek çalışan olması.
Bendem ekstra ödeme talep ettiler 350 euro ve bunin icin booking dende oteldende sikayetci olacagim 1022 euro ödenem gereken yerde 1367 euro ödedim Avukatim araciligiyla sikayetimi bildirecegim booking calisani melisa, isimli birisi otelle birlikte calisiyor galiba bana yardimci olmasi gerekirken otelden yana tavir takindi
Hic birseyini sevmedim
Very good hotel. Staff is frendly and helpful. Hotel is very beautiful and stylish. Food is exellent. Room is clean and comfortable. Sea is close. Pool is big. Shopping possibility is great.
My wife and I travelled to the Royal Dragon Hotel in Side - Antalya - (from Aberdeen, Scotland) for three weeks of holidays.....and what a fantastic holiday 😄. The hotel was outstanding in terms of location (for the beach), and the local shops surrounding the Hotel. The accommodation was excellent, with the overall hotel being spotless and clean, and the room was freshened everyone day with linen, towels and sundries, and the minibar was replenished daily. The amenities within the Hotel were superb, with leisure facilities and bars, and the table tennis table was a fabulous addition to our afternoon poolside exercise. Saunas, steam room and hamam we're super hot 🔥 too. The soft and alcoholic drinks were aplenty, and staff were humble, gracious to super friendly. 24 hour service :-) The food, absolutely wonderful, and the presentation of dishes were of the highest order. We would highly recommend this particular hotel - The Royal Dragon Hotel - in this fantastic seaside resort, for families, individuals and for couples. Five stars out of five from us :-) and All inclusive was a must have for the best holiday.
Toll! Danke!
If you are familiar with Royal/Stone Group hotels in Antalya Region, you should only know that Royal Dragon is probably the best now. Really well renovated an year ago, rooms are spacious, beds are super comfortable. The best part: beautiful large sandy beach with comfortable entry in the sea - perfect for kids. Well, kids won't be happy that luna park's gone but for their parents it provides a leisurely dinner :) Aqua park is really good and the pools are wonderful. Food is also great, fresh and tasty, with lots of choices. Late breakfast is almost as rich as the early one. Not a problem finding a table in the evenings. Well, if you prefer to stay at the pools have to reserve sunbeds early in the morning, as usual. Not such problem at the beach. Staff is good, but should mention that people in Royal Holiday Pallace /last year stayed there/ were definitely friendlier and speaking better English. Dragon is German oriented and if you don't speak German some misunderstandings are possible. Nothing interesting about the evening shows and daily animation, but I prefer peaceful places and this hotel is such a place. Lots of shops just in front of the hotel. There was only one inconvenience - early closing of the towel desk (Not all the guest go to dinner at 19:00, some stay at the beach a bit longer). Overall: Really good choice for summer holiday. Very good service.
Fantastic hotel perfect for families, food was brilliant all week, on arrival I asked about price of room upgrade and the brilliant reception staff and manager offered this free of charge! Ignore the negatives, yes there aren’t many English families here but everyone is friendly, great location also will book again!
We travelled as a family of 4 with myself, my husband and my 2 teenage daughters (17 & 15). Having been to Turkey several times in hotels like Aska Lara, Sherwood Dreams, Baia Lara and Limak Atlantis meant we were typically used to a high standard, however had not been to the Side area before this. Before we arrived, not going to lie we were very concerned after seeing many negative reviews regarding this hotel but we can honestly say we had an excellent time and can't understand what everybody is complaining about! We would say the hotel was predominantly 80% German guests but this did not affect our stay at all. Although towards the back end of the holiday more English guests seemed to be arriving which was nice! Despite this, all of the staff we encountered could speak English and were always so so helpful. Arriving at around 4am after a long journey we were generally tired but we were pleasantly welcomed by reception and the bellboy, who swiftly took our suitcases upstairs. They also offered us a chance to grab some food at the midnight restaurant if you wanted but we were that tired we just went straight up to bed. We had a family interconnecting room which consisted of 2 large rooms with a double and 2 singles. The balcony was small but still had enough room to fit a couple of chairs and a table in, however this didn't bother us at all. Due to our room type, it meant that we were unable to get a full sea view but I requested via email beforehand to have some sort of view, and we were granted a side sea view where you could also see the pool clearly. The beds were the comfiest I've ever slept in at a hotel and the aircon was perfect, especially with the heat being around 45 degrees on some days it came in handy (some nights even became to cold). Lovely walk in shower, very modern! The food in the main restaurant was brilliant, with so much variety. They had themed nights so different foods each night, but always had your basics like pasta, chips, burgers, salads, etc. We never had a problem finding a seat at the night time, we often came down at 8pm and this was never a problem but not sure what earlier would be like for getting a table. Big shout out to Tahir who was so helpful and friendly to us, making our stay even more enjoyable. A little tip goes a long way. Not really big breakfast eaters but for what we usually eat it was plentiful, cereals, yoghurts, toast, pancakes, doughnuts, even onion rings! For lunch, we never went to the main restaurant because the pool bar had everything we needed. A selection of KFC type chicken, pizzas, chips, kebab wraps (the man at the kebab stall was lovely and always willing to chat), fruit, crepes, pancakes, ice cream. Slushes and ice coffees were nice at the aqua bar, should definitely try. Pool was massive and stretched from the hotel down to the beach, with loads of bridges overhead to make it easier to get across to places instead of walking around. There were stairs dotted all around from top to bottom so you could get out of the pool from nearly any point. There weren't any lifeguards about though, so if you were to have younger children just keep an incredibly close eye on them. There was no "deep" end in the pool and so it was all the same depth. Pool was constantly cleaned through the night time. The shopkeeper on the bottom floor pumps up your inflatables free of charge to. There were pool activities going on through the day and the animation team don't pester you at all which we preferred, but if you wanted to participate you knew where they were. Music around the pool was always good as well, even my daughters enjoyed it. The entertainment at night was honestly one of the best, enjoyed every single show that was on. The ampitheatre tended to get very full (no surprise) but we always managed to find somewhere to sit even when arriving at around 9:45. After the main show had finished they always had live music at the beach bar, or a DJ depending on the night. Live music always finished at midnight but we ended up sitting around for a bit afterwards. The white party on the Wednesday night was brilliant. Played so many English songs and was inclusive for everyone. The beach was busy but whenever we ventured down we managed to get a bed. The sea was warm - so nice. However, the sand was absolutely boiling so beware. If you fancy a day trip out to the Old Town it's well worth a visit, lovely walk with some beautiful views of the harbour area and lots of bars and restaurants around, including Irish bars. The ancient ruins are nice to see but can be a steep walk, especially in the heat. Overall, a lovely stay and would probably return again! IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. I'm sure you will have a lovely stay!
We’ve just come back from a fantastic 7-night family holiday at the Royal Dragon Hotel in Antalya, and honestly, it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and so attentive – we felt relaxed straight away. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with striking architecture, immaculate grounds, and a real sense of space. Our room was spotless, spacious, and had a gorgeous view of the pools and beach. It had everything we needed – including a well-stocked minibar refreshed daily – which was a lovely touch. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything fresh and tidy throughout our stay. The food was another highlight. There was so much choice at every meal, from delicious Turkish dishes to international favourites. Everything looked so tempting and was well presented. A few things were a bit salty for our taste, but with so many options, it was easy to just grab a fresh plate and try something else. I really liked that they had a dedicated children’s dining area with smaller cutlery, plates, and a self-service drinks station – although it wasn’t restocked or tidied quite as quickly as the main restaurant. There are also a couple of à la carte restaurants that are not part of the all-inclusive package and require reservations. Regrettably, we couldn’t try them as they were fully booked. The hotel recommends making a booking at least 24–48 hours in advance. The pools were clean and well-kept, with plenty of loungers early in the morning. By mid-morning they filled up quickly, and while the hotel asks guests not to reserve them, this wasn’t really enforced. The water slides were a huge hit with the kids, though only open in two time slots (10–12 and 2–5), probably to avoid the hottest part of the day. The private beach is just a short walk through the hotel – soft sand, clear water, plenty of shade, and a bar close by. Towel service was easy too; you just swap your towel card for fresh ones between 8 am–5 pm. The entertainment team worked tirelessly to put on great activities for all ages. The evening shows were from outsourced acts, and the selection we saw was very good. They ran from 9:30–10:30 pm, which was perfect for families. The amphitheatre was well designed so everyone had a good view. There’s also a kids’ club, but my two didn’t stick with it – while staff spoke good English, most of the activities were in German, which made it harder for them to join in. This is very much an international hotel, with English-speaking families in the minority. It didn’t affect our enjoyment at all, but it’s worth knowing for families who might prefer a predominantly English-speaking environment. During our stay we used the hotel photographers. Though a little expensive, we have left with an array of stunning professional photos, which gives our younger members of the family lasting memories. We also used the salon, which was very reasonably priced, and I had a manicure and pedicure. We also made good use of the spa – again, reasonably priced compared to London. My husband and I treated ourselves to several treatments, including full body and sports massages and a full Turkish bath. Wonderful experience from the amazing team at the spa, and well worth looking into during your stay. Most of the time they have availability for the same or next day. The only real downside was that we never saw a TUI rep during our entire stay, which was disappointing. It would have been nice to have some contact or a welcome from them. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Royal Dragon Hotel is a perfect choice for families looking for comfort, quality, and fun in beautiful Antalya. We will definitely be returning!
I had a negative experience this year with this hotel, after seven years in a row of being pleasantly impressed by Turkish services. I mention this to point out that I do have some experience and a frame of reference when it comes to Turkish all-inclusive resorts. The main restaurant is more of a canteen than a restaurant – no atmosphere, no décor, and a very low, oppressive ceiling that makes you feel like you’re eating in a basement. The waiters were sour-faced and spoke no foreign language at all. One day I asked for water and was handed an already opened, half-empty bottle. Cleanliness was disappointing. If you go, take a look at the cart they use to bring the “clean” dishes into the restaurant – you might lose your appetite. I once picked up a supposedly clean plate from the stack only to find chocolate smears on it. And no, it wasn’t put there by another guest; it was clearly poorly washed. The overall attitude was unfriendly unless you tipped – and I mean in a very unpleasant, almost aggressive way. At the lobby bar this was most obvious: after a €5 tip you’d get a smile, without it you’d get frowns and curt remarks. Near the entrance to the amphitheater there was a constant, horrible smell that turned your stomach – not just once, but every time we passed by. If you go, do not accept a room under the lobby, especially if you like to sleep in the morning, because they start moving chairs early and you’ll hear it right above your head. I had read reviews mentioning all these issues before choosing this hotel, but I thought maybe those guests were just being overly picky. Turns out, I am now one of them.
Currently staying at the Royal Dragon, and going home in two days. We are from the UK in Wales and I can’t believe the negative reviews! Yes most people here are German but everyone is nice. Very different to other resorts with lots of Brits getting smashed at the bar constantly. The staff are great really friendly. I have been tipping the staff as they can’t do enough for you - hardly big change if you are spending 5k on a holiday. Plenty of food - the beach bar is great for lunch. So much food at the pool restaurants eg kfc style chicken, crepes, ice creams, kebabs, jacket potatoes, fresh doughnuts etc. No idea what people are complaining about! The lobby bar is great the cocktails are all freshly made and bar staff are lovely. This hotel and the staff are great - do not listen to the negative reviews re. people from the UK moaning that so many people are German. In my opinion / based on my experience they are far better behaved than people from UK abroad, and both of my daughters have said how everyone looks a lot slimmer lol! The pool is awesome loads of areas and the water slides are brilliant. You do need to get up early to put towels down to secure a sun bed - the best spots are gone by 6:30 but still plenty to get if you are down by 8am. This is the best hotel we have stayed in with the nicest staff! We had a family room that is basically two full size rooms seperated by the bathroom. One side has a big double bed, and the other side has two single beds. Perfect for a family with older kids who want their own space!!
Date of Trip - 9th July 2025. To begin, we booked this hotel as it looked very much like Royal Wings Hotel (Lara beach) which we stayed in 6 years ago. We loved the Royal Wings, but this hotel is nowhere near as good. Everyone speaks German. We have come to expect this in Türkiye. However, all entertainment is in German, 80% of the staff cannot speak English, only German. We went with 2 children [7 & 4] and they couldn't do any of the evening entertainment as they couldn't understand it. Further to this, if you have children the entertainment is a no go. It is all on far too late. e.g. 2130hrs for a show was not pheasable so we missed all evening entertainment. The hotel itself. The lobby is beautiful. However, the rest of the hotel is very dated. We did expect this as it is a themed hotel so it may not be to everyone's taste. All in all it was clean where it mattered and the housekeeping ladies were lovely. the spa is a no go. We used the shower there and it was essentially falling apart. The indoor pool was so incredibly cold you couldn't use it and had no lighting so you couldn't actually see. The main pool area was lovely and we really enjoyed this. What ruined the pool experience was (as expected) nowhere near enough sun loungers and these were all taken by 0800hrs every day. Further to this, you have a constant flow of hotel staff trying to sell you tack e.g. personalised t shirts, bingo tickets , massages the list is endless and it ruins your relaxation time by the pool. Food - consistently cold, poor quality ingredients and bland. Absolutely NO FOOD OPTIONS FOR CHILDREN. (unless they like completely plain pasta. How hard is it to put on chicken nuggets etc ? To add to this, the air con in the restaurant is poor, leaks on the table and leaves everyone uncomfortable. The floor in and around the pool is a serious HAZARD. We lost count of how many people fell and seriously hurt themselves. The cleaning staff do try and negate this by mopping but it does almost zero to fix the issue and the material they have paved the floor in is the danger. So many little ones were hurt as well as fully grown adults. KEEP HOLD OF YOUR CHILDS HAND AT ALL TIMES. Cocktails. TERRIBLE. They have a menu but not a single bar staff member knows what they are making and they al taste awful. The ingredients are never what they should be and they essentially end up being alcohol and grenadine 50% of the time. if you have booked already and cant avoid the hotel, go with a pina colada as this seemed to be the only thing they didn't completely butcher. Hotel Occupancy - DO NOT GO IN THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS. we went the week before the summer holidays and the hotel was a nice level of busy. However as we were on our last few days the INFLUX of new guests (who have booked for the summer holiday dates) WAS CRAZY! For example, dinner opens at 1900. the first 3 nights it was us and 5 or 6 other families waiting for the doors to open. on the last few nights there were at least 200 people waiting by the doors , no air con , no management and it was incredibly uncomfortable. Kids crying people arguing the lot. Then when we went to eat people couldn't get a table, people wrestling to get food, the food going cold on your plate due to queuing. so much out of stock as there was never enough food for the amount of guests. Summary. DO NOT GO HERE.
Just back from a 2 week jaunt, mum and 23 year old daughter. Had a lovely, relaxing holiday, been to Turkey many times and holidays 3-4 times a year, Turkey, Egypt, Europe, Caribbean, cruises ets so will be objective regarding value for money. Firstly let's address the English language barrier from previous reviews. Absolutely not an issue. Didn't have an issue being understood, yes English in the minority, good to practice your Turkish and German. * Rooms * Plenty of space and adequate. No issues but nothing special. Very small balcony if you find this an issue, we don't. Serviced daily to a good standard with soft drinks, water and beer. Good shower and air conditioning great, beds really comfy. * Pools and beach * Lovely large pool with bridges, separate kids pool. New waterpark area with 5 slides, on the opposite side a kids area with slides, bucket, etc. Be aware no life guards operate in the main pool area, only at the slides and beach, not one monitoring at the top of the slides surprisingly so not great for safety. Beautiful beach, sandy and shelving gradually. The usual situation with sunbeds, prime sites taken by 7.30am though in June you would get a couple around the pool at 10am, plenty on the beach. *Food and beverages* Huge buffet restaurant, one of the best I've been to with no repeated dishes. Plenty of choices, not always hot which is usual for a buffet. There's a microwave and chefs were happy to reheat pasta dishes. Breakfast was lovely, so many options. Staff so friendly and attentive, never had to ask for service. Some lovely desserts which actually had flavour. Often we find they look pretty but are tasteless. Buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beach restaurant is open for lunch either a small buffet and a la carte menu, pretty limited. Around the pool there are several food corners with many options. Pizza, pide, baked potatoes, fries, kebabs, fruit, waffles, my favourite....the most amazing chicken tenders. Think KFC chicken strips the size of a breast, my daily fix. Ice cream available in 6 flavours 2 till 5 there and in the buffet restaurant. Branded spirits are available though they will mostly offer local first so insist if important. They don't skimp at all. There's a cocktail menu though not all are familiar with them so be prepared to be surprised lol. Terrific range of non alcoholic slushes I got addicted to. Most disappointing is the a la carte. They cost 20 euros each and in 2 weeks only saw Italian and Chinese open once with a couple of tables.I wouldn't rebook the hotel for this alone. * Entertainments * Now this is my real disappointment. The animation team were absolutely awful, worst ever. No interest in building a rapport with ANY guest, nothing to do with nationality. Just sat together at pool bar. Didn't attempt to draw guests into activities. My daughter loves water polo and water gym. No one came round, we had to ask. She went to water polo 3 times, the hats and goals were put there NO animation rep was there refereeing it, she gave up. Absolutely abysmal. Whole team need retraining or removing as it had a disappointing impact on her holiday with mom. Evening shows were prompt and we enjoyed the first 4 but they became monotonous, all dance and aerobics. There was a magic show but that was twice. On Wednesday there was a white party. On the next Wednesday there was a white party. Totally boring. Just ents guy talking to himself on the stage an hour or so later the girls got on a podium and danced. That was it. Huge let down. So a thumbs down for entertainment. *Summing up* A nice hotel with good food but disappointing a la carte and animation team. If you've booked you'll have a lovely time. My expectations for 3k for 2 were pretty much met so I'd say value for money was good. *FINALLY* Transfer is a nice hour, don't bother booking one. There plenty of shops right outside. Flag a dolmus to Side 1 .5 euros and watch the sunset. Oh and at breakfast time go out of the hotel towards the beach, turn right, walk up to the bridge and hopefully you'll see the sea turtles. Enjoy
50th birthday Holiday with husband & 3 teenage children. 10 day stay. Rooms were lovely and spacious, good size bathroom. Pool area was beautiful with small waterpark. Then it all goes. horribly wrong, where to start..🤔 Buffet restaurant had a lot of choice, if you like stews & local dishes (mainly same stuff daily) they have Italian area which you could get freshly made pastas( highly recommend) as most food is either lukewarm or cold. Bain-marie’s don’t keep the food at a good/hot temperature. Patisserie had tasteless cakes and no proper coffee, ie: latte, cappuccino. Everything is out of standard machines, not freshly made.so don’t expect a decent coffee. Sports bar in the hotel is a joke! No atmosphere, 1 tv on wall. Drink selection extremely poor for 5 star platinum hotel. 1 brand of wine(local), 1 brand of prosecco(local). 1 brand of beer(local) all of which was disgusting to taste. where are the international drinks? When questioned on this, was handed a menu with a few bottles of wine choice (which had an additional charge) of roughly £70 plus per bottle! Disgraceful if I’m being completely honest. Pool bars were poor, snack bars an utter joke for choice. Same stuff everyday, baked potatoes (huge in size) had potato salad or mixed gherkins as toppings.😂 and the cheapest plastic cutlery which trying to cut into the potato broke in the food. Food always lukewarm or cold. Beach bar, used once & closed 15 minutes early, so when asked if could get a drink was given a warm bottle of water. Staff bearly spoke a word of English or understood it. For a Tui Hotel booked in the UK, I would expect the staff to have spoken a Little English at least. A very German resort, so staff spoke German no problem. Why Tui would use this hotel is beyond me. Or state this when booking so at least people know. Nightly entertainment was poor, laughable at points and very amateur. On the other hand, the daytime entertainers were fantastic, so friendly, just not much going on activity wise. Luca went above & beyond to give the guests a good time, he was amazing. I could go on & on about all the negatives. Wouldn’t advise this hotel to anyone. Lovely setting but very boring and not 5 star luxury.
Great experience, clean hotel, lots of food options. As for special diets, there is a small corner for diet food (that's what it says), another for vegan, but not more specific than that. Sandy beach, bars at the pool and at the beach, you can eat something at any time of the day and night. Would definitely recommend!
We have just returned from this hotel on 10/6/25. We first visited the royal dragon 16years ago and then it was one of the best hotels in Side. Now it is probably the worst, please believe all of the negative reviews that people are writing. When we checked in the reception staff could not understand English, we had to repeat over and over to book in. This was the theme all through this holiday, repeat, repeat, repeat. When staff could not understand what you were saying they would storm off and on one occasion actually swore, funnily that was in English.Rooms were not being cleaned properly, non of the entertainment was in English, entertainment team was the worst we have ever seen. You have to pay 20 euro’s for the alacarte restaurants, which tour operators do not tell you.Cannot get a table to eat your meals that is if you can find something to eat, evening meal supposed to finish 21.30 but in fact nothing left to eat by 20.30.The patisserie is a joke there is a standard push button coffee machine which you use yourself along with a few cakes left over from meal times. This is not anywhere near a 5 star, we have stayed in better 3 star hotels in Benidorm. Try to complain to guest relations and guess what they don’t speak English. The complaints concerning this place goes on and on. If you need any advice concerning this hotel then please ask.last words Keep clear of this hotel, go to Lara beach area hotels where you are wanted.
I'm not sure what planet these complaining people are on, but we are here now!! 15th April 2025 and can honestly say one of the very best hotels I've been to, and I've stayed in a lot of 5* star hotels around the world 🌎 So when they say they don't speak English?? EVERY staff member is so polite and speaks enough English to get by, plus other languages which I admire - as I cant!! The food is by far perfect- to the limit that there is so much choice . I'm not sure what people are looking for if you complain? Is it you want a Tesco meal deal or something? 😆 ...because all you will get is an abundance of quality choices here so go somewhere else if that's what you are hoping for . The food hall, rooms, pool, beach, all-inclusive package is the best you can get, believe me! As a family of 4, 2 room family room sea view - with an 11yr, 18yr and both of us, this is the perfect family Holiday with all the amenities on the doorstep as well as the Easter holidays weather which has been pure sunshine for the last 5 days. We don't want it to end and we still have 5 days left. Come back on Easter Sunday 20th😭 Top top: just book this beautiful hotel! DO NOT LISTEN TO THE COMLAINERS AND NEGATIVE REVIEWS I'm not sure what thet are on about and how thet think they can get better value !! 🙄😂 Enjoying life right now from the beach at this stunning hotel I've stopped in 5 * hotels costing 3 times the price of this, and although were equivalent to this hotel, I'd return here everytime!! So that's saying something. It is a beautiful 5* hotel with unlimited all inclusive 😀
Absolutely amazing hotel, from the moment I arrived nothing was to much trouble. The staff are attentive but not intrusive and always will to help Don't be put off by the negative comments about the staff only speaking German, this not the case everyone spoke English.
Top top top
Lovely hotel. The grounds and the hotel were kept spotless from the very busy, attentive staff. The food was really nice every day, plentiful, fresh, great quality and always hot with lots of choice. The beach was stunning and the sea was lovely to swim in. The entertainment was really good. White Party/Pool Party were great! The reps spoke in many languages during the entertainment, but never in English which I found disappointing. If you spoke to any reps, they were always very friendly and spoke back to you in English, but I guess the entertainment was geared towards the majority of the clientele at the time of our visit. Perhaps there weren't many English there when we went on the 2nd September. Alcohol: My partner and I are not big drinkers, so after several cocktails, a few beers and a couple of Proseccos, I really should have been legless. But it didn't touch me. The drinks tasted really nice, but I am not sure it had much alcohol contents. Not a problem for me - just a comment. There is a lovely beach bar at the hotel, where you can watch the world go by, very relaxing. We walked down the beach everyday, it would have been nice to stop off at other bars for a drink/rest - but this wasn't an option as all the hotels up and down the beach have their own private area - not open to non residents. We jumped on a bus to go to the local market, this was good fun and we came back with some bargains. TIP: On our last day we found the sea turtles. Breakfast time - go out of the hotel at the rear, turn to your right, walk to the bridge and there they are. OMG I was delighted. Enjoy your holiday whenever you go!
My family and I went to this hotel for a holiday in August, the first abroad we’d had in 8 years. We arrived and had four very nice days. To start on a positive the hotel is vast and well maintained and the entertainment is brilliant (that which we got to see) It is a lovely hotel on the face of it. Then all the illness started. Gastroenteritis both bacterial (severe diarrhoea and cramping) or viral (vomitting) in three of the four of us. Two of us ended up in hospital for a whole day. We ate nowhere other than the hotel buffet restaurant, pool bar or beach bar. We swam only in the pool at the hotel. We did not pick up any of these sicknesses from anywhere else. I believe the beach bar was the food that gave me bad bacteria and the pool that gave the kids sickness. There was another person with chronic diarrhoea also taken to the hospital from this hotel in the same transport at the time we were taken so we were not alone in suffering at the hands of this hotel. A 10 day holiday and 6 of our 10 days ruined - it was a complete disaster. Neither TUI nor the hotel are taking any responsibility in terms of compensation What should have been a wonderful family holiday was ruined. Devastated is an understatement I will never holiday with TUI again or return to this hotel nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone.
The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were lovely. The bathroom catered for a wheelchair disabled person. The bedroom itself did not. We found the bed too high for a disabled person to get on and off, hence slipping off the bed. The hotel manager was brilliant and came up with idea of taking the six legs off the bed. Which made a big difference The rooms were spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly enough but we found they catered more for the Germans. They have a lot of German tourists. Most of the hotel staff spoke mainly German Christmas Eve and New Year Eve were brilliant. The staff put on a Gala night. Christmas Day was a bit of a letdown as not much going on there until late in the evening. Overall though it was a good holiday
We were there for Xmas. The rooms are very good and well appointed with large showers and a nice vanity. Good quality toiletries . What let the whole experience down was the of customer service ! 1 we were nearly always spoken to in German and when we said we were British staff generally went ok then ignored us. 2 T getting a table for dinner was a joke. I even complained to the restaurant manager and got well we are a hotel? This is supposed to be 5 Star but we have had better in travel lodge in the UK. There was nothing for Xmas Day as the Germans have Xmas Eve as there celebration. 3 The food was well presented but very predictable. 4. The bar service was slow and not very attentive. In conclusion I wouldn't go back
Everything was excellent
Hotel excellent, rooms splendid, overall cleanliness very good. Food very good, good choice, staff need to monitor the temperature of the bain maries as many were too low.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and nearly everyone spoke English. Great selection of food in the buffet restaurant. Ample indoor seating for guests when the winter weather is not suitable for sitting outdoors. Really pleased the hotel has a smoking room available for guests near the lobby bar.
Food was great room need renovation bathroom was old the fridge was not working AC was not good too
Close to the beech. Some staff seamed a bit put out by simply doing their jobs. Gio and Daria were good with our daughter, along with other kids. Pools were too cold and too deep in the vast majority of areas. Food was good, although the ice cream was not. Paper cups are silly and should not be used. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss too. Some being excellent, others just plain awful. Was too hot in our room because the AC had been turned off and when I asked they guy said it's turned off for Winter and couldn't be turned on. Hotel and it's surrounding were very nice.
I liked everything I didn’t like the air conditioning systems in the lobby, it’s weak
This is a very good hotel for families with lots of activities all day long. Buffet for all meals was delicious, assorted with much variety. You can also find decent snak between meals by the pool. Recommended.
